SHARIA IN AMERICA: IMPOSING ISLAM ON DISNEY
Who is backing this insanity?? Two of the most powerful lobbies in America that both have Obama’s ear and support: Unions and Muslims.
Disney has a strict dress code. They have every right to have a dress code. Disney obviously is not discriminating since America is NOT Sharia compliant! And never should be ever. If someone has a problem with a dress code they have no business taking the job.
When you choose to take a job where you are visible in one of Disney’s parks you join a cast like you are in a play… the magical cast of Disney. If you don’t want to wear the costume, don’t take the job. Disney will hire you to work in the back. Those standards and rules apply to everyone who wants work at a Disney park.
A Disneyland Resort hotel employee is accusing Disney of discriminating against her because it won’t let her wear a Muslim head scarf at work in public.
Imane Boudlal, a restaurant hostess at the Storytellers’ Cafe in the Grand Californian Hotel in Downtown Disney, said she was sent home without pay three times when she attempted to report to work wearing a hijab since Aug. 15.
But Suzi Brown, a Disneyland Resort spokeswoman, said Boudlal was offered a behind-the-scenes assignment at the restaurant until her employer could figure out a solution. Brown denied that the company discriminated against Boudlal.
Today, Boudlal will attempt to wear a head scarf, called hijab, to her hostess job for a fourth time. Supporters are to join her this afternoon after a press conference as she heads to work.
“The Constitution tells me I can be Muslim, and I can wear the head scarf,” Boudlal said in a prepared statement before the press conference. “Who is Disney to tell me I cannot?”
Boudlal plans to file a discrimination complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, said Leigh Shelton, a spokeswoman for the hotel workers’ union, Unite Here Local 11.
“The company values diversity and has a long-standing policy against discrimination of any kind,” Brown said in a prepared statement.
“Ms. Boudlal has worked for the company for more than two years and recently made the request to wear a hijab, and we have been working directly with her on accommodations. In the interim, we offered reasonable accommodations to allow her to work during her scheduled shifts, which she declined.”
Boudlal decided to try wearing the head scarf to work after becoming a U.S. citizen and learning about her rights of freedom of religion. Some Muslim women wear a hijab, which covers the hair and neck, as a form of modesty that is part of the religion.
Disney is in the middle of a fierce contract battle with the 2,100-member-strong hotel union. During that time, the union has held a one-day strike, week-long fast, walkouts and dozens of protests.
“Unfortunately, this is yet another attempt by Local 11 to distort the facts and distract from the real issue that their members have been without a contract for two and a half years,” Brown said.
Disney is known for its strict dress code, called the Disney Look, which has been in place since 1957.
In June, Disney for the first time allowed women to have bare legs when wearing skirts or dresses. Moustaches were banned until 2000. See a recent story about the Disney dress code.

Look at what American women have to do when in Muslim countries. Double standard. I'm feed up with all this bending over to these Muslims. We can thank this Muslim pretender sitting in the White House for all the recent sucking up to this "religion of love". I learned all I need to know about Islam on Sept 11 2001 and I am proud to say that. We need to look at Australia’s prime minister who stood up for his country and said if you don't like it, move out !

The "guilty until proven innocent" law of Sharia precludes any legal, police employment...
The call to kill nonbelievers precludes employment anywhere there's non-Muslims...
The code against gambling or interest precludes employment in casinos, banks, mortgage companies...

I remember when Disney sent its first park to France. The French were upset that the dress codes were too conservative for female employ.

I hate that smug look on her face. Just because she chooses to wear slave attire doesn't mean an employer has to allow it, afterall we do live in a country where slavery was outlawed. She can wear her shackle-cloths on her own time.
Besides, I'm sure she hasn't had her shots, she wipes with her left hand, I wouldn't want to get food from her anyway. Yuck.

She has every opportunity to seek work where there is no restrictive dress code. Disney's client base relies on it's traditions to continue for generations. They have a lot at stake if they choose to cave to this insideous anti-Western triumphalist bigotry.

Disney, as a private company, has the right to enforce its dress code. If the Muslims don't want to abide by it, they can work elsewhere. I don't want to take my family to Disney and have to view burkhas, head scarves or other Muslim dress on the employees.

I grew up as a Muslim and converted to Christianity as an adult. These incidents: Disneyland, the Ground Zero Mosque, etc are warnings to America!! Stop the invasion. Stop the tolerance instead of common sense. The plan is to spread Sharia all over America, all over the world. It will destroy everything Americans believe in. This is a war! Many Americans are praying for guidance and help from God, like never before. God is revealing the lies and dangers to us through incidents like this and the Mosque and Ground Zero. Our job is to recognize those messages and act on them!
