How will Dems Defend Healthcare?
A memo was released that shows the game plan for Democrats on how they will defend the passage of Obama's massive healthcare plan. It's a telling look at how even the left realizes this bill is a heaping mess -- check out the entire plan HERE and listen to Glenn's reaction to it on radio today. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)
Feds seize ShoreBank - ShoreBank to be revitalized as Urban Partnership Bank
(Remember ShoreBank… the bank that connect Obama’s mother t o Geitherner’s Dad???)

Federal regulators on Friday seized ShoreBank, the fabled South Side bank known for its community lending, and turned its good assets back over to its management team to be reopened as Urban Partnership Bank. The management team, which had joined ShoreBank only recently and which sources say includes former First Chicago Corp. executives Bill Farrow and David Vitale, entered into an agreement -- called a loss-share transaction -- on $1.41 billion of ShoreBank¹s assets with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), according to a press release issued tonight. The 15 branches of ShoreBank wll reopen Saturday as branches of Union...

Well, color me shocked.
Jeeze ..look at this:
Regulators shut big Chicago-based bank
Excerpt:
In an unusual move, the FDIC allowed some of ShoreBank's executives to continue running the restructured bank. Executives who joined ShoreBank recently, as the bank struggled to raise capital, will manage Urban Partnership Bank.
These managers "did not contribute to the bank's problems," the FDIC said. ((I'll bet they were just placed there by the O-Machine.))
ShoreBank lost $39.5 million in the second quarter amid soured real estate loans. The bank had been under a so-called "cease and desist" order from the FDIC for more than a year, requiring it to boost its capital reserves. ShoreBank was able to raise more than $146 million in capital this spring from several big Wall Street institutions.
Members of the newly chartered Urban Partnership Bank include Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Citigroup Inc., Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo & Co. The MacArthur Foundation also owns a share, the FDIC said.
The FDIC and Urban Partnership Bank also agreed to share losses on $1.41 billion of ShoreBank's loans and other assets.

Check out this video about a foot bridge from Mexico to America that is NOT GUARDED. When asked about it a government official say, "It is not a foot bridge, it is a grade control structure". Just before that they show you the a part of the pathetic $2.4 billion Fence they built that anyone can drive around. It's just my opinion, but we need every Republican to run a portion of this report in their campaign commercials to show the incompetence of a centralized government. Link to video of what a Government official claims is not a foot bridge...
Check out some of the comments #32 – stimulus funds spent for RFID chips in recycling bins.
And #36
The Microchips, which use radio frequency identification technology, are installed in the bin handles. Four city waste collection trucks will be equipped to read the Microchips that will be associated with specific street addresses. All the city’s 60,000 households will be added to the program “over several years at a total cost of $1.6 million” — all of it born by the U.S. Taxpayer. The Federal Government awarded Dayton a $1.6 million Energy Efficiency and...

High-tech carts will tell on Cleveland residents who don't recycle ... and they face $100 fine Trash carts containing more than 10 percent recyclable material could lead to a $100 fine, according to Waste Collection Commissioner Ronnie Owens. Recyclables include glass, metal cans, plastic bottles, paper and cardboard. City Council on Wednesday approved spending $2.5 million on high-tech carts for 25,000 households across the city, expanding a pilot program that began in 2007 with 15,000 households. The expansion will continue at 25,000 households a year until nearly all of the city's 150,000 residences are included. Existing carts might be retrofitted...
#23 - In Houston we have them: RFID chips in our recycling bins to force compliance, along with hefty fines up to $2000 for noncompliance.
I do no weld. I do not own welding equipment. I did, however get married a few years ago, and one of the presents we got and rarely use is a Crème Brule kit that comes with a flamey-thing that cooks and browns the sugar on top of the Brule.
I have been advised to apply that to the RFID device, from the inside, so as to avoid any scorch marks.
#24 - In Philly, they have the equivalent of recylcing police. I’ve talked to residents, these green meter maids actually check your trashcans and have a handheld device that they can generate citations with. This is their idea of “Green jobs”, I suppose.
#28 - This article, for some reason, didn’t explain how it works.
The chip will track whether you bring the can to the curb. If you do not bring your recycling can to the curb for a certain period of weeks, this triggers a manual inspection of your garbage. Those people found to have more than 10% recycleables in their garbage will be fined.
#32 - Updated: 3:42 pm EDT August 4, 2010 DAYTON, Ohio — Two Senate Republicans are calling out a Dayton recycling program for what they say was wasteful spending of federal Stimulus government Stimulus dollars. Sen. John McCain and Sen. Tom Coburn identified 100 questionable Stimulus projects across the country and put Dayton on the list. The city received $500,000 to track large recycling bins with Microchips. The senators called it a waste of money. City officials told News Center 7 that Daytons..

DEHUMANIZING TRADITIONAL AMERICA, THE OBAMA GOAL
That makes no difference to the national socialist elite in power, they want to cow America with their Utopia. The former needless genocidal 9/11 sacrifice of 3800 innocent lives is trumped by “ minority rights.” This is just the beginning if Obama and his national socialist junta is allowed to stay in power. People in general should make no mistake about it.
The dehumanization of the 9/11 victims is the goal Obama has.Once this is accomplished, the sky is the limit for this sort of thing. He means to define who is human and who is not. And then we are to watch silently as Obama’s plan to isolate and disempower middle America socially , politically and economically accelerates. Dehumanization of sectors of society is a major fascist technique. So far he has dehumanized many, including the Fort Hood shooting victims, as the sanctity of Muslims is preserved in our military over the necessity for American justice and the future protection of our military personnel.
On a parallel matter, Obama is redistricting America as we speak, using the 2010 census. The defining parameters will be to cloister racial and ethnic minorities into their own Congressional constituencies. Subsequently the plan is to pit that block of racial and ethnic minority voters against the rest of America. The “ minority rights” aspect of this mosque argument will then be applied to budgeting. Special federal programs to provide “historical justice “ for the so called ‘exploited” will be put in place. Using Fannie / Freddie for affirmative action lending nearly destroyed our nation and the world economy, and now Obama wants to remake Fannie /Freddie? You can imagine the image in which he will remake these bogus institutions, even Barney Frank is bailing.
There is a very large comprehensive plan, and the mosque right now is the icon on a much larger political battle front. America is kept ignorant of this larger battle. The Obama Utopia is a cultural mosaic, not a melting pot, and he is quietly going about this redefinition of America which will now be rammed down our throats , using his executive powers, the Supreme Court, and a cowed Congress.
Obama will not unite America, he intends to divide it and conquer it, and will use force to do so if he thinks it necessary. That's why he manifests a burgeoning Secret Service personal security plan which now freezes our municipalities as he travels about our nation. Its a message, part of his campaign to cow America into submission.
This mosque must not be built, if it is, it will likely be destroyed. As Rush Limbaugh says, can one imagine building a Shinto Temple adjacent to the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor, 10 years after it happened there?
You can see the reasoning here about the overall Obama approach which he has very carefully revealed to America in fits and starts, so few will connect the dots. This is his so called transparency:

Ground Zero Mosque Imam Is Globalist Stooge
http://www.infowars.com/ground-zero-mosque-imam-is-globalist-stooge/
The Imam of the now infamous “ground zero mosque” is a member of the ultra elitist Council On Foreign Relations and receives financial backing from powerful globalist sources including the Rockefellers, the Carnegie Corporation and the Ford Foundation.
This information provides a compelling backdrop to the theory that the move to establish the mosque is a deliberate attempt to further stoke religious tensions and divert attention away from the real enemy of free humanity, the corporate globalist elite who continue to profit from global war and division.
The proposed mosque, to be known as Cordoba House is the project of the Cordoba Initiative, an organisation founded by ‘Imam’ Feisal Abdul Rauf (pictured above), who, in addition to being a member of the World Economic Forum’s Council of 100, is an active member of the Council on Foreign Relations’ Religious Advisory Committee.
The Cordoba Initiative’s website cites “Christian support for the Cordoba House” in the form of Christian publication, “Sojourners”, which is owned by evangelical Christian writer and political activist Jim Wallis, also coincidentally a sitting member of the CFR’s Religious Advisory Committee.
The CFR, as regular readers know, is populated exclusively by major players with the biggest corporations, banks and defence contractors in the world – all of whom are making vast profits and securing more power from continued global conflict. The CFR also exerts far reaching influence over the U.S. government.
Tony Cartalucci at landdestroyer blog breaks down the fact that every single leading player in both the neocon infested Bush administration and the “change” gang under Barrack Obama is a CFR luminary. Cartalucci also provides further stunning research relating to Cordoba House and its CFR Imam, which breaks down as follows.
Feisal Abdul Rauf also heads up the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA) which enjoys a partnership with the Cordoba Initiative and provided $100 million to secure the site close to ground zero for the mosque to be built.
That $100 million came directly from the back pockets of ASMA’s financial backers.
According to ASMA’s website they include the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers, Rockefeller Philanthropy, and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund – essentially the tip of the pyramid of the international globalist elite.
This story is a perfect microcosm of the new world order agenda.
The mainstream media continues to push the mosque story hour after hour, day after day, from the perspective of both the left and the right, manufacturing a controversy that plays on a now indentured fear of Islam that has been cooked up over the last nine years via endless phony “Muslim” terror plots and concocted “al Qaeda” threats.
Real Muslims are witnesses to a vicious backlash, stirred up and served from this corporate media cauldron, creating the impression they are under attack by non-Muslims and forcing them to have to defend their religion, and the whole thing snowballs onwards.
The Elite Become Fringe. We Will Remember Come November
I've written about this before. Let me pretty much repeat myself because it is vitally relevant here.
I cannot tell you the number of reporters at major networks and newspapers who will, in private moments, admit there is a real bias in the media. That bias largely comes up from the elite power brokers, trend setters, news reporters, and politicos who live in the New York to Washington corridor.
In most cases it is not an intentional bias. It is a product of being highly educated, liberally inclined ("centrist" if you ask them, which is typically code for standing for nothing and everything at the same time), white urbanites who live on the Upper West Side, have drivers whisk them off to their studio or out of Adams-Morgan into downtown DC where they hang out with other fashionable liberals who, unlike me, think Jimmy Choo is a shoe manufacturer and not, as I thought, a Chinese restaurant.
They talk about what's in the New York Times Magazine and on its front page. They gossip about who isn't fooling around with Maureen Dowd anymore. They go to wine country in France, tie the latest J. Crew sweater around their neck because Michelle does, and otherwise live in an insular world of group think.
The preconceived notions they develop in this insular world of their likeminded friends colors what becomes the conventional wisdom, what gets reported and what doesn't. . . .
The same people who have dedicated the entire year to proclaiming the tea party movement "fringe" suddenly find themselves fringe. Consider: the same percentages of people believe 9/11 was an inside job and believe Barack Obama is a foreign born Manchurian candidate and believe the Ground Zero mosque should be built.
While this Ground Zero mosque controversy may be the first time any of these elitists have ever embraced property rights, it has also done a brilliant job of outing them as out of touch with the America they supposedly represent in office, cover in the news, and talk down to on an hourly basis. The elite has become just as fringe as birthers and truthers.
But they will never, ever, ever admit it. They'd rather call you and me racists. But you and me? We will remember come November.

Mellencamp: Internet Most Dangerous Invention Since A-Bomb
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Rocker John Mellencamp said on Tuesday that the Internet was the most dangerous invention since the atomic bomb, although new technology could paradoxically delay the inevitable demise of rock 'n' roll.
But before then, "some smart people, the China-Russians or something" may have already conquered America by hacking into the power grid and financial system, he warned during a public seminar at the Grammy Museum.
Mellencamp, 58, has established a reputation during his career as a bit of a loose cannon disdainful of music industry niceties. He still lives in his home state of Indiana, saying he never fit in elsewhere.
Famed for such hit songs as "Hurts So Good," "Jack and Diane" and "Small Town," he is also a political activist who campaigned for President Barack Obama. He has also helped Live Aid organizer Willie Nelson put on the annual Farm Aid charity concerts for small farmers.
His comments on the Internet coincided with the release -- in stores and at digital retailers -- of his new album, "No Better Than This." While he said the Internet was useful on a personal level for communication, he worried about its destructive potential.
NewsWeek Vinettes:
Haley Barbour Is ‘Most Powerful Republican’
Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour has more political clout than any Republican in the country — at least until the November elections.
That’s because he runs the Republican Governors Association and several state-based PACs, and has more money to spend on the 2010 elections — $40 million — than any other GOP leader.
Barbour’s behind-the-scenes fundraising efforts recently landed a $1 million contribution from Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp., and more than twice that amount from Bob Perry, the Texas businessman who funded the Swift Boat attacks in 2004.
Barbour’s RGA matched the Republican National Committee in fundraising in the last quarter, thanks in part to dissatisfaction with RNC Chairman Michael Steele, Politico disclosed in an article headlined “The most powerful Republican in politics.”
Republican strategist Ed Rollins recently called Steele “a disaster” and said he has “failed miserably” at fundraising.
Meanwhile, Barbour is “clearly the top political strategist and political operative of his generation,” said Rep. Tom Cole of Oklahoma, a former RNC chief of staff.
“He is without peer when he is raising money.”
The RGA and state-based PACs can accept unlimited donations from corporations and individuals, while the RNC and other federal committees cannot, adding to Barbour’s clout.
And winning governorships is particularly important this year, because governors will play a major role in the redistricting that will occur in 2011 and 2012 following this year’s census. So helping to elect GOP governors “will have an impact way beyond the 2010 election,” Politico observes.
In addition to helping his fellow Republicans, Barbour could also be laying the groundwork for a presidential run in 2012.
He currently polls way behind potential candidates Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin. But his logic “is simple,” an adviser told Politico. “When he surveys what most Republicans consider to be a weak field, he sees no reason he couldn’t easily beat them.”
For many Americans, a flag laying on the ground is just as bad as burning one, especially if it is put there by the 1st family.
