The points they make here are true and they are also the age group that have been completely educated and brainwashed by the liberal Progressive Machine. This is also the generation that the Obama Administration is targeting and co-opting into Obama Youth and Progressive Pons.

As many of their points are admittedly correct, their solution has been cooped by Alinskyites and the Progressive movement. There education lacks a basis in truth, especially American History and the Constitution. And the majority of them lack respect for their parents, the past, history and have little knowledge of both their heritage and their religious background, or any religion, other than the Green movement the United Nations dronism that leads to socialism or worse…

It is a scary prospect, or should be, and is very much the cause of their baby-boomer parents (my generation) who have done little to change the world as was our creedo and even their grandparents, who caved into the easier life instead of being the responsible examples and leader of their families. We, for generations now have allowed the Progressive Movement to steal our freedoms, our liberties our beliefs and even the minds of our children because we weren’t paying attention and chose fun, irresponsibility, out own wants and the easy way instead of staying connected to God and Church, our families, politics and what was going on around us and in our government and being hands on with children and their education.

Just listen to the words of the video… “We are the most ‘progressive’ generation ever”; that is not a good statement for freedom, for free-market capitalism, for godly relationships, or for America.

We have less than the equivalent of moments in time to connect with this generation, to apologize to them and to shift their thoughts and allegiance. We need to start by making time for the people of that generation who are in our lives, daily. Grandparents, call your grandkids, nieces and nephews regularly and schedule one on one time events with them. Volunteer with youth and school groups in your area. And parents, turn off your TV’s and get rid of your out of the home extra-curricular activities that don’t involve them. Help or at least check their homework; get involved in school projects and events; be at their events; develop common events and take time in the car, at the dinner table and just hanging out to really talk to them. And prevent them from getting involved in Obama Youth and Progressive Youth programs. And let us all fight any brainswashing type programs starting with public education.

A book for high-school students glorifies communists, socialists and at least one activist who has called for "resistance" against the U.S. government, WND has learned.

The work, "Americans Who Tell the Truth," has been used in schools across the U.S., according to its author. The book, however, does not inform readers of the extremist backgrounds of the personalities upheld as heroes.

Robert Shatterly, creator of the book project, told WND the work features portraits and brief descriptions of dozens of personalities who are "role models for citizenship in the attempt to win democracy."

Shatterly said his book, and a related traveling art exhibit featuring the same personalities, have been featured in many U.S. schools. He also posted an online curriculum for educators to teach American history through the lives of the personalities in his book.

LEAKED NETWORK MEMO REVEALS: Obama Controls Your Television Set

On September 10th of this year the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) posted a press release informing the world that “from October 19-25, more than 60 network TV shows [will] spotlight the power and personal benefits of service,” and that this “unprecedented block of TV programming is the first wave of a multi-year ‘I Participate’ campaign.”

On its face this all sounds rather benign in that silly, liberal do-gooder kind of way. The networks have launched these kinds of campaigns before and other than some clunky exposition awkwardly inserted into your favorite show to meet the mandate — no harm, no foul.

But this year there are a couple new strangers in town: “Volunteerism” and “Service.” You’ve heard of them. Their names have been bandied everywhere since President Obama took office, and this internal memo from the EIF to network showrunners obtained by Big Hollywood shows that the entertainment industry is well acquainted and eager to introduce both to as vast an audience as possible:

Like the NEA story, once again we see the same buzzwords pop up; suggested topics pitched to an overwhelmingly left-of-center group: Education, health, environment, the economy and lastly — almost as an afterthought as some kind of “bi-partisan” cover – support for military families.

We’ll have to wait until next week to see what effect this initiative will have on the 60 television (and news) programs in question, but thanks to the intrepid Patrick Courrielche and Stage Right, today we can answer the simple question of…

“What’s wrong with this?”

Doing the work the Kamikaze Media (many of whom are participating in this event rather than digging for the story) refuses, and with the help of Big Government’s Dana Loesch, Patrick and Stage Right have discovered that when it comes to this White House – whether it’s the NEA conference calls or EIF’s iParticipate programming — all roads funnel into one place: online volunteer portals, including Serve.gov, where if you plug in “health care” all kinds of Planned Parenthood openings pop up along with a video dispelling those ugly “myths” knocking ObamaCare.

There’s scarier stuff, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise. *cough*Trutherism*cough*

We’ll start with Stage Right. Next week, tens, if not hundreds of millions of Americans, will be urged through the (ab)use of public airwaves to log on to the EIF iParticipate site and volunteer. Stage Right will give you a preview of what the unsuspecting and well-intentioned, including your children, will find.

If you’re thinking it’s all about “Meals on Wheels,” think again.

From there, Patrick Courrielche will describe how this EIF initiative fits into a broader White House plan, including the push to politicize the NEA, to redefine “art” as “service” and engage an all too compliant news, entertainment, and artistic community to start a volunteer army through these online portals.

Late yesterday we received an email from our pal Victoria Hutter, of the National Endowment for the Arts' Office of Communication: "This afternoon Yosi Sergant submitted his resignation from the National Endowment for the Arts. His resignation has been accepted and is effective immediately."

In case you haven't been following this story, let's bring you up to date: In August, as we detailed Monday, Sergant organized a conference call for federally subsidized artists in which he and other administration officials--including Buffy Wicks of the White House Office of Public Engagement--urged them to produce propaganda for the president's legislative initiatives. You Satisfied With WH Response to 'Inappropriate' NEA Call?

An August 10, 2009 National Endowment for the Arts conference call in which artists were asked to help support President Obama's agenda -- a call that at least one good government group called "inappropriate" -- has prompted the White House to issue new guidelines to prevent such a call from ever happening again.
"The point of the call was to encourage voluntary participation in a national service initiative by the arts community," White House spokesman Bill Burton told ABC News. "To the extent there was any misunderstanding about what the NEA may do to support the national service initiative, we will correct it. We regret any comments on the call that may have been misunderstood or troubled other participants. We are fully committed to the NEA's historic mission, and we will take all steps necessary to ensure that there is no further cause for questions or concerns about that commitment."

David Horowitz: Obama ‘Manchurian Candidate’ – Just Last Week WH Kool-Aid Drinker Said “Barack Obama is a ‘Figurehead’ of a movement”

In a lead story published this past weekend on Frontpagemag.com, conservative thinker and best-selling author David Horowitz likens President Barack Obama to the "Manchurian Candidate" — a tool of the far left fostering the implementation of its radical agenda.

In the 1959 book "The Manchurian Candidate" by Richard Condon — which has been made into two movies — an American soldier is captured during the Korean War, taken to Manchuria in China, and brainwashed into being an unwitting assassin for the communists.

He becomes part of a plot to kill a U.S. presidential nominee to aid the ascension of the "Manchurian Candidate" — a candidate secretly backed by communists.

Horowitz is a former leftwing radical who turned conservative. He sees Obama’s manipulators as a coalition of left-wing groups who have helped pave Obama's road to the White House.

One is the Center for American Progress, which is funded by billionaire George Soros and headed by John Podesta, co-chair of the Obama transition team.

Another is the Apollo Alliance, a "coalition of radicals, left-wing union leaders and corporate recruits, which had a major role in designing Obama's green economy plans, including the 'cash for clunkers' program," Horowitz writes on the FrontPageMag.com Web site.

Apollo Alliance's board includes Van Jones, who recently resigned as Obama's "green jobs czar" after his past inflammatory statements came to light. Horowitz notes that Jones is a "self-styled 'communist' and a proponent of the idea that the Katrina catastrophe was caused by 'white supremacy.'"

A key moment in the progress of the left-wing coalition came in 2004 when Soros decided to integrate "anti-American radicals" — including left-wing unions, environmental radicals, and the political organization ACORN — "into the structure of Democratic Party politics," writes Horowitz, founder of The David Horowitz Freedom Center and author of the new book "One-Party Classroom."

Soros created what Horowitz called a "Shadow Party" to torpedo President George W. Bush's re-election effort in 2004.

"Soros failed to achieve his goal in 2004 but he went on working to create new elements of the network, such as the Apollo Alliance," Horowitz wrote.

Horowitz argues that Obama’s true colors are beginning to show to the American people.

"Just eight months into his presidency, however, a new Barack Obama has begun to emerge. With unseemly haste Obama has nearly bankrupted the federal government, amassing more debt in eight months than all his predecessors combined. He has appeased America’s enemies abroad and attacked America’s intelligence services at home. He has rushed forward with programs that require sweeping changes in the American economy and is now steamrolling a massive new healthcare program that will give the government unprecedented control of its citizens."

As for Van Jones, "the rest of us should be wondering who his sponsors were within the White House," Horowitz observed. "Then we should ask ourselves what they are planning next."

Census Bureau Severs Ties With ACORN

The Census Director has sent a letter to the National Headquarters of ACORN notifying the group that the Census Bureau is severing all ties with the community organizing group for all work having to do with the 2010 census.

"Over the last several months, through ongoing communication with our regional offices, it is clear that ACORN's affiliation with the 2010 Census promotion has caused sufficient concern in the general public, has indeed become a distraction from our mission, and may even become a discouragement to public cooperation, negatively impacting 2010 Census efforts," read a letter from Census Director Robert M. Groves to the president of ACORN. "Unfortunately, we no longer have confidence that our national partnership agreement is being effectively managed through your many local offices. For the reasons stated, we therefore have decided to terminate the partnership," the letter said.

The news follows the firing Friday of two more ACORN employees after new hidden-camera footage showed workers for the group advising a couple posing as a pimp and prostitute how to subvert the law.

Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) reacted to the news Friday night, applauding the decision by the Census Bureau.

"ACORN had no business working on the Census. ACORN’s partisan election efforts and its involvement in criminal conduct rightly disqualified it from working on the non-partisan mission of the Census to accurately and honestly count the U.S. population," Rep. Issa said.

ACORN had previously been tapped to help with low level data gathering for the 2010 census. A copy of the director's letter has been sent to Congress and relevant committees, as well as ACORN.

Two more ACORN workers were fired Friday after a second video surfaced, this time showing staff members in the community organizers' Washington office offering to help the undercover man and woman acquire illegal home loans that would help them set up a brothel.

Those firings came less than 24 hours after another pair of ACORN officials, from the group's Baltimore office, were canned for instructing the "pimp" and "prostitute" how to falsify tax forms and seek illegal benefits for 13 "very young" girls from El Salvador that pair said they wanted to import to work as child prostitutes.

Both of the encounters were videotaped on a hidden camera wielded by 25-year-old independent filmmaker James O'Keefe, posing as the pimp — tapes that have ignited calls for investigations of ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

The group's leaders said Friday they were "appalled and angry" at what their staffers had done, but insisted the videos were part of a political "smear" campaign and not representative of the institution as a whole.

"But that does not excuse the behavior of the employees," wrote ACORN's president Alton Bennet and executive director Mike Shea. "We have fired them and are initiating an internal review of practices and reminding all staff of their obligation to uphold the highest legal and ethical standards."

O'Keefe, the filmmaker who exposed ACORN's employees, was accompanied by 20-year-old Hannah Giles, who posed as a prostitute. On a videotape of their visit to ACORN's Washington's office, they are seen receiving guidance to establish the woman as the sole proprietor of a bogus company to mask the nature of her business.

"She's not going to put on (the loan application) that she's doing prostitution ... she doesn't have to," a now-fired ACORN staffer says. "You don't have to sit back and tell people what you do."

NEA and White House Conspires to Transmit Propaganda!

$2 million behind National Endowment for the Arts politics push

On August 12, a group of 21 arts organizations endorsed President Barack Obama's health reform plan only 48 hours after a conference call in which a top National Endowment for the Arts official asked arts groups for help in advancing the administration's policy agenda, including health care.

One reason the arts organizations may have been so swift to follow the administration's suggestion is that 16 of the groups and affiliated organizations received nearly $2 million in grants from the National Endowment for the Arts in the 150 days before the conference call. According to a Washington Times analysis of NEA records, more than $1 million of that total came from the stimulus package. (see timeline)

The explosive questions are obvious and so far the administration is not talking:

Is it ethical, or even legal, for a federal official from a grant-making agency to ask grant recipients to endorse the administration's political agenda? Is the White House crossing a line when a West Wing political appointee is on the call? Did political considerations infect the grant-making process at NEA?

Digging deeper into the grants only reveals more disturbing questions. Among the recipients of the grants, in this case, $50,000 from the stimulus package, is a group named Americans for the Arts. According to federal records published at OpenSecrets.org, Americans for the Arts has already dedicated $250,000 to lobbying expenses this year alone. The president of Americans for the Arts is an Obama donor and the affiliated political action committee gave $48,000 to congressional Democrats in the last election cycle. According to NEA records analyzed by The Washington Times, donors to the PAC received more than an additional $500,000 in stimulus funds.

Did Congress intend for stimulus money to land in the coffers of politically connected lobbyists? What protections did the administration put in place to assure that stimulus money was not steered to its political allies? Have other lobbyists been funded through stimulus programs administered by different federal agencies?

Since The Washington Times began writing about the NEA's shady conference call, NEA Director of Communications Yosi Sergant has been removed from his position and reassigned according to an agency spokeswoman. Kalpen Modi, an official with the White House Office of Public Engagement, remains in his position.

It is far from clear, that Mr. Sergant and Mr. Modi were acting alone in arranging what appears to be a back door effort to transform art promotion into political capital. Indeed, The Washington Times has uncovered an example of how the NEA's newly confirmed chairman may be involved.

In the weeks after the Sergant-Modi conference call, NEA Chairman Rocco Landesman had a conversation with Bob Lynch, president and CEO of Americans for the Arts. The Washington Times learned of the conversation because Mr. Lynch posted a podcast about it on ArtsUSA.org, the Americans for the Arts web site. According to Mr. Lynch, the conversation included a discussion of health care reform.

Since controversy erupted however, ArtsUSA.org has removed the link to the podcast from its blog just as the NEA tried to remove its fingerprints from the conference call.

The roots of the effort to turn the National Endowment for the Arts into a political tool of the White House go back to just days after Barack Obama's 2008 election. Here's how events unfolded:

(Update) NEA Communications Director Keeps Job Amid Controversy

The communications director at the National Endowment for the Arts "remains an employee" there despite reports that he was asked to resign following his participation in a controversial conference call last month.

The communications director at the National Endowment for the Arts remains an employee there despite reports that he was asked to resign following his participation in a controversial conference call last month, FOXNews.com learned Thursday.

Yosi Sergant was one of several officials on an hour-long conference call on Aug. 10 hosted by the NEA, the White House Office of Public Engagement and United We Serve, a nationwide initiative launched by President Obama to increase volunteerism.

Patrick Courrielche, one of roughly 75 artists, musicians, writers, poets and others on the hour-long call, said Sergant was among those who encouraged the artists to create works in their respective fields that would show support for Obama's domestic agenda in areas such as health care, energy and the environment.

It was reported in the Huffington Post on Thursday that Sergant had been asked to resign, but NEA officials have denied that claim.

"He remains an employee at NEA," said spokeswoman Victoria Hutter, who declined further comment.

In a statement to FOXNews.com, the NEA also defended itself against Courrielche's claims, saying the conference call was not intended to promote legislative agendas.

"This call was not a means to promote any legislative agenda and any suggestions to that end are simply false," the statement read. "The NEA regularly does outreach to various organizations to inform of the work we are doing and the resources available to them."

White House spokesman Shin Inouye told FOXNews.com that the conference call was not a "means to promote any legislative agenda," and "the White House did not ask for him to resign."

"It was a discussion on the United We Serve effort and how all Americans can participate," Inouye wrote FOXNews.com.

Inouye confirmed that the president had received a letter from Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, calling for congressional hearings into the NEA's role in the call.

"I urge you to make clear that your administration will never allocate taxpayer dollars to artists based on their support for administration policy initiatives," Cornyn wrote. "Further, I respectfully request that you take the necessary steps to ensure that the NEA -- and the American arts community it supports -- remain independent from political manipulation by the White House."

During the call, Courrielche said the ubiquitous Obama "Hope" poster by artist Shepard Fairey and musician will.i.am's "Yes We Can" song and music video were offered as "shining examples" of the artist group's clear impact on Obama's landslide election.

"What I heard was a well thought-out pitch to encourage artists to create art on these issues," Courrielche told FOXNews.com last month. "We were told we were consulted for a reason, and they specifically stated those issues as the issues we should focus on, to plant the seed. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what they're attempting to do."

Courrielche, who first wrote about the experience on the blog Big Hollywood, said unidentified members of the press were also on the call.

"I felt like I needed to say something about it," he said last month. "Now I think if [a piece of art] comes out, you have to question it, did it come from this meeting? This is the exact argument for why an agency like this shouldn't exist."

And although the NEA insists Sergant remains with the organization, its statement on the communications director is similar to one White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs made just a day before green jobs adviser Van Jones resigned, saying only that Jones continued to work in the administration.
