Morgan Freeman: 'Racist' Anti-Obama Tea Partiers Are Controlling The Republican Party… Wow!  Really?

Actor Morgan Freeman tells CNN's Piers Morgan that the Obama presidency made racism in this country worse — saying tea partiers are targeting Obama because of his skin color. (He is right that race relations are at an all time low for recent history, but not for the reason Morgan states or promotes.  It is because of the constant race-baiting from the left, including from the White House.)

"The tea partiers who are controlling the Republican party... their stated policy, publicly stated, is to do whatever it takes to see to it that Obama only serves one term," he said. "What underlines that? Screw the country, we're going to do whatever we can to get this black man out of here."

He added, "It is a racist thing."

The full interview will air on "Piers Morgan Tonight" at 9 p.m.

Herman Cain wins the Florida straw poll and becomes the Man of the Hour

Businessman Herman Cain scored a major upset Saturday, winning the Florida straw poll and creating a new set of problems for Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

The final tally: Cain carried 37% of the vote, Perry 15% and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney 14%. Former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum was at 11%, Texas Rep. Ron Paul at 10% and former House speaker Newt Gingrich at 9%. Trailing far behind were former Utah governor Jon Huntsman and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, at 2%.

The straw poll in Orlando was non-binding and voting was limited to about 3,500 delegates who had paid $175 each to attend Presidency 5, hosted by the Florida GOP. But Perry's failure to win on the heels of a shaky performance in Thursday's debate will underscore concerns by some of his supporters about whether he can maintain and build on his quick rise in the polls.

Cain was one of just three contenders who showed up to speak at the Saturday convention. He got a particularly enthusiastic reception, disputing the "rumor" that he couldn't win the election and saying it was time to send "a problem-solver" rather than a politician to the White House. "Send Washington a message!" he said, bringing the crowd to its feet.

It is hard to say whether Cain’s win or Perry’s loss was the bigger story.  Cain has constantly pushed his Tea Party connections and worked the Tea Party to energize his base.  The only bad thing about Cain is his terrible 9-9-9 plan.

For Perry, who worked hard to come up with a win in Florida, this is a disaster.  Perry not only had a terrible debate, but his Achilles heel became very visible.

Conservatives do not like his stand on immigration.  Perry burst on to the scene with fanfare and a lot of interest from conservatives.  Now that conservatives are looking at Perry, a lot of conservatives are having second thoughts.

Over on Fox News, Carl Cameron declared the results a “clear message” for Perry that his debate performance did not go over so well, and that his supporters were willing to default to Cain and not Romney. For Cain himself, Cameron argued, it was a “huge, huge win” in terms of fundraising and name recognition. The news is also tremendously upsetting for the winner of the Iowa straw poll, Rep. Bachmann, given that she came in behind Huntsman.

For a full appreciation of the results, however, one must take into account that Romney, Bachmann, and New Mexico governor Gary Johnson were not on the ballot, and that Huntsman, Perry, and Paul were not at the event to campaign whatsoever.

But there is one clear message from the straw poll.  This is not a two-man race and the man or woman who wins the nomination is probably not the leader today.

The second lesson is that the tea party and the GOP wants to make Obama a one term president because of his ideology, inexperience and lack of leadership.  They do not care about the race, age, religion, ethnicity, gender or color of the skin of their candidate.

Ron Paul – Oldest Presidential Candidate and a Libertarian

Sarah Palin – a woman

Marco Rubio – a Cuban Hispanic

Herman Cain – an Afro-American

Michele Bachmann – a woman

Mitt Romney – a Mormon

Gary Johnson – A pro-gay rights Libertarian

Jon Huntsman – a Mormon

And who is the tea-party’s favorite entertainer?:  Lloyd Marcus, and African-American who sings the tea party anthem.

It is long past time for the left to stop the race-baiting and fear-mongering about the tea party, the GOP and the right. Let us remember our history. Abraham Lincoln, who freed the slaves was a Republican and so were most Blacks after they were emancipated. The KKK was primarily a southern Democratic group. And it was Republican President Eisenhower's hopes and policies that JFK and LBJ finally got passed and implemented, as their own, which ultimately got Republican Martin Luther King and his followers to become and remain Democrats.

It is also beyond time for sensible Americans of all parties and ideologies to stop supporting Hollywood and other entertainment organizations who insult them or continue to march along the Progressive Ideological line that is anti-American, anti-freedom, anti-capitalism and anti-the average American’s beliefs.

I love Morgan Freeman’s movies and really always liked him when I’ve seen in him in interviews, but this unfounded attack at the tea party has changed my feelings about him to some degree. (I’m always willing to give someone a second chance.) But it is time that we stop supporting leftist Hollywood and the entertainment community by boycotting their products… their movies, their music and their projects. The power of the purse… or withholding the purse is one of the greatest weapons there is!

Last week the NFL decided to move forward with their TSA style-pat downs. Alex Jones called for a boycott of the NFL and NFL and related products. But how many Americans put their immediate needs and wants over their own principles, let alone the good of America and the good of future generations? I think you will see… far too many!

These entertainers and sports figures have the right to donate to any candidate they like. They do not have the right to use their fame to sway people to their ideology by making false, irresponsible and uninformed statements like Morgan Freeman did. (As for Piers Morgan… could CNN have found any more of a leftist??).

Herman Cain and his team have developed a smart plan for America’s recovery… His 9 9 9 plan.  With this win in the Florida straw poll, Citizen Cain to President Cain… No Longer a Reach.

A 9% business flat tax. Gross income less all investments, all purchases from other businesses, and all dividends paid to shareholders.
A 9% individual income flat tax. Gross income less charitable deductions.
A 9% national sales tax. This significantly expands the tax base, which helps everyone.

This plan has the following advantages:

It is fair, revenue-neutral, transparent and efficient.
It puts zero tax on capital gains and repatriated profits.
It replaces the payroll tax.
It will aid capital availability for small businesses.
It saves taxpayers $430 billion in annual compliance costs.
It eliminates the uncertainty holding this economy down.

Leftwingers Outraged By Being Associated With Leftwingers

Nazis (and by implication all “right- wingers,” past and present) were inherently wicked. Their agenda was evil from A to Z, their methods along with their goals.

Communists (and by implication left-wingers) at least mean well. Oh, they might get a tad overzealous at times (killing more people than the Nazis and the Bubonic Plague combined, as documented in the The Black Book of Communism, for instance) but at least their hearts were in the right place. Even Barry Goldwater might get it. “Extremism in the defense of socialism is no vice!”

In a one hour special titled “Revolutionary Holocaust; Live Free or Die” run on January 22nd Glenn Beck mounted a full-frontal attack against the above notion—and left it a smoking cinder. First off, by sourcing Jonah Goldberg’s Liberal Fascism, Beck swept aside a premise that often handicaps conservatives from the get-go: the premise that Nazis belong on the right. Bombarded by relentless documentation to the contrary, this liberal bromide quickly blew up, and the program proceeded to report on the notoriously under-reported Communist holocaust.

As a participant in the program, I’ll go on the record and report that the care given by the producers to proper documentation for all Communist crimes and Communist quotes amounted to a fetish. This care, of course, accounts for the program’s devastating effectiveness—and thus the anguished reaction by liberals.

“The Liberal cannot strike wholeheartedly at the communist for fear of wounding himself in the process," wrote James Burnham in his classic Suicide of the West. This little gem did much to explain the theme in the opening lines of this article. But so vividly did Revolutionary Holocaust document Communist butcheries—from Stalin’s to Mao’s to Fidel Castro and Che Guevara’s-- that now some liberals are trying to weasel away from their years of alibis and rationalizations for the mass-murder.

The Glenn Beck special is now catching heat from “mainstream” liberal sources who claim no “mainstream” media or academic sources in fact herald the Communist icons as claimed on the special. To this end an article in Politico quotes Clemson professor and Harvard PHD, Steven Marks: "No one in their right mind is going to defend Stalin or Mao or Che Guevara,"

Exhibit A: Time Magazine honors Che Guevara among "The 100 Most Important People of the Century." Not satisfied with such a paltry accolade they list him in the "Heroes and Icons" section, alongside Anne Frank, Andrei Sakharov, Rosa Parks and Mother Theresa.

Exhibit B: “Innocent people were not executed in significant numbers, (by Che and Castro.) Che presented a Christlike image, with his mortuary gaze it is as if Guevara looks upon his killers and forgives them." (Jorge Castaneda. Global Distinguished Professor of Politics and Latin American Studies. Visiting professor at Princeton and Berkeley, columnist for The Los Angeles Times, and Newsweek.)

Exhibit C: the cover of this very month’s GQ magazine (not exactly a “fringe” publication) features Che Guevara iconography on a smiling Johnny Depp.

Exhibit D: During last year’s presidential campaign, Obama campaign offices prominently displayed Che Guevara posters.
(Note: Che Guevara’s butcheries and Stalinist schemes were all orders from above, namely from his Stalinist boss, Fidel Castro, who appointed Guevara as his regime’s chief hangman.)

Exhibit E: “Fidel Castro is very shy and sensitive, a man I regard as a friend." Democratic Senator and Presidential Candidate, George Mc Govern:

* “Viva Fidel! Viva Che!” bellowed while arm in arm with Fidel Castro himself. (Democratic Presidential candidate, Jesse Jackson.)

* “Fidel Castro first and foremost is and always has been a committed egalitarian. He wanted a system that provided the basic needs to all -- enough to eat, health care, adequate housing and education. Cuba has superb systems of health care and universal education” (Democratic President James Earl Carter)

* “Fidel Castro is Cuba’s Elvis!” (former ABC anchorman Dan Rather)

* “Fidel Castro is an absolutely fascinating figure!” (NBC’s Andrea Mitchell)

* “Fidel Castro is one helluva guy!” (Ted Turner)

* “Fidel Castro has done good things for Cuba.” (Colin Powell)

Time and space restraints do not allow a listing of accolades to Castro/Stalinism from Hollywood folks.

The Toast of Manhattan!" crowed Time magazine about Fidel Castro's reception by Manhattan's Beautiful People on his visit to address the U.N. General assembly in 1996, upon the U.N.'s 50th anniversary celebrations.

"The Hottest Ticket in Manhattan!" read a Newsweek story that week, referring to the social swirl that engulfed Castro. After Fidel's whooping, hollering, foot-stomping ovation in the General Assembly, he was fêted by New York's best and brightest, hobnobbing with dozens of Manhattan's glitterati, pundits and power brokers.

First, there was dinner at the Council on Foreign Relations, (CFR). After holding court there for a rapt David Rockefeller, along with Robert McNamara, Dwayne Andreas and Random House's Harold Evans, Castro flashed over to Mort Zuckerman's Fifth Avenue pad, where a throng of Beltway glitterati, including a breathless Mike Wallace, Peter Jennings, Tina Brown, Bernard Shaw and Barbara Walters, all jostled for a brief tryst, cooing and gurgling to Castro's every comment.

All clamored for autographs and photo ops. Diane Sawyer was so overcome in the mass killer's presence that she rushed up, broke into that toothy smile of hers, wrapped her arms around Castro and smooched him warmly on the cheek.

"You people are the cream of the crop!" beamed the mass-murderer to the smiling throng that surrounded him.

"Hear, hear!" chirped the delighted guests while tinkling their wine glasses in appreciation and glee.

But the mass-murderer had barely scratched the surface of his fan club. According to the U.S. Cuba Trade and Economic Council, on that visit Castro received 250 dinner invitations from Manhattan celebrities and power brokers.

LEAKED NETWORK MEMO REVEALS: Obama Controls Your Television Set

On September 10th of this year the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) posted a press release informing the world that “from October 19-25, more than 60 network TV shows [will] spotlight the power and personal benefits of service,” and that this “unprecedented block of TV programming is the first wave of a multi-year ‘I Participate’ campaign.”

On its face this all sounds rather benign in that silly, liberal do-gooder kind of way. The networks have launched these kinds of campaigns before and other than some clunky exposition awkwardly inserted into your favorite show to meet the mandate — no harm, no foul.

But this year there are a couple new strangers in town: “Volunteerism” and “Service.” You’ve heard of them. Their names have been bandied everywhere since President Obama took office, and this internal memo from the EIF to network showrunners obtained by Big Hollywood shows that the entertainment industry is well acquainted and eager to introduce both to as vast an audience as possible:

Like the NEA story, once again we see the same buzzwords pop up; suggested topics pitched to an overwhelmingly left-of-center group: Education, health, environment, the economy and lastly — almost as an afterthought as some kind of “bi-partisan” cover – support for military families.

We’ll have to wait until next week to see what effect this initiative will have on the 60 television (and news) programs in question, but thanks to the intrepid Patrick Courrielche and Stage Right, today we can answer the simple question of…

“What’s wrong with this?”

Doing the work the Kamikaze Media (many of whom are participating in this event rather than digging for the story) refuses, and with the help of Big Government’s Dana Loesch, Patrick and Stage Right have discovered that when it comes to this White House – whether it’s the NEA conference calls or EIF’s iParticipate programming — all roads funnel into one place: online volunteer portals, including Serve.gov, where if you plug in “health care” all kinds of Planned Parenthood openings pop up along with a video dispelling those ugly “myths” knocking ObamaCare.

There’s scarier stuff, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise. *cough*Trutherism*cough*

We’ll start with Stage Right. Next week, tens, if not hundreds of millions of Americans, will be urged through the (ab)use of public airwaves to log on to the EIF iParticipate site and volunteer. Stage Right will give you a preview of what the unsuspecting and well-intentioned, including your children, will find.

If you’re thinking it’s all about “Meals on Wheels,” think again.

From there, Patrick Courrielche will describe how this EIF initiative fits into a broader White House plan, including the push to politicize the NEA, to redefine “art” as “service” and engage an all too compliant news, entertainment, and artistic community to start a volunteer army through these online portals.

First the NEA, now the EIF…
