Obama Information Czar Cass Sunstein Confronted on Cognitive Infiltration of Conspiracy Groups
In a rare public appearance, The Obama Administration's Information Czar Cass Sunstein gave a lecture at the NYU Law School in NYC yesterday, prompting Luke Rudkowski of WeAreChange to attend. Watch as Luke confronts Sunstein multiple times on an academic paper he co-authored back in 2008 entitled "Conspiracy Theories" in which he called for cognitive infiltration of conspiracy groups by the government.
Brave kid to ask Sunstein straight out and repeatedly!!
Sunstein was like a frightened criminal - caught in the act. He should just slither back to wherever he came from.

Presidential? Not So Much!
Now this is mature…
Obama picked up his toys and stormed out of the meeting, kicking the door open
Video: Temper Temper… Obama Kicks Door Open
Bet you won’t see this little tantrum on mainstream news!?!
I have not been able to verify 100% that this is real, but on the site where the video originated there were also the videos of him locking himself out of the white house as well as the one of the guy walking behind him during a speech and of Michelle with her Hula Hoop: all real; plus there are some composites that people put together like one of him licking ice cream that was obviously photo-shopped. I couldn’t find anything saying it wasn’t real and it looked pretty authentic?!? Who knows for sure, so you be the judge… M~

Felonious Munk Presents: Stop It B! OBAMA PAY YOUR &*%$#% BILLS
Language Alert: This really is a must watch unless you are squeamish about bad language!!
Felonious Munk speaks on the economic state of America and why we shouldn't pay our bills.
When Glenn Beck heard the following rant by comedian Felonious Munk, he couldn’t believe it. You probably won’t either.
Munk is known for recording wild, profanity-laced YouTube rants as part of a series he calls “Stop It B!” Sometimes it’s hard to tell what he really believes and what is part of his routine. But we’ll let you make up your mind regarding his latest rant — a stern message to Obama about the debt ceiling and America paying its bills.
There’s no way to really sum it up, except for that it has a lot of GRAPHIC LANGUAGE and you’ll need headphones to watch if you are in public, at work or near kids. You also might need to cover your mouth from laughing — or gasping…
Video: Felonious Munk Presents: Stop It B! OBAMA PAY YOUR &*%$#% BILLS
Source: The Blaze
Someone sent me this the other day and kept meaning to post it and send it out to my list. I did send it to Beck, Rush, Greta and O’Reilly though. (…not that I’m taking credit for Beck getting it on the Blaze) I laughed, gasped, and cheered!! It is about time I thought!! It is a sad day when a foul mouthed comedian has more sense than the President and those who surround him in the White House (and I don’t want to hear about the Congress because as Democratic President Harry Truman said… the buck stops with the President!), and it is just as sad when a comedian has more guts than most Americans to speak up!!
Ask Marion~
Update:
FELONIOUS MUNK TALKS COMEDY, OBAMA, & WHY HE WOULD JOIN GBTV WITH THE BLAZE
A phone interview with Felonious Munk isn‘t what you’d expect from an energetic, foul-mouthed comedian. He swore once. Ranted just little. And explained how he used to be a finance director making six figures. It’s a job he gave up to do comedy (much to the chagrin of his mother). And now, it‘s a job that’s led him to grab the attention of Glenn Beck.
“I definitely appreciate that kind of exposure,” he said of his recent rant against Obama becoming a favorite on Beck’s radio show. Still, he included a caveat: “You got to keep in mind, it puts me in a unique position as a black guy who has questioned Obama.”
In the three-minute video posted on his YouTube channel recently, Munk berated the government and president Obama for not paying the country’s bills and racking up debt. All with a unique, profanity-laced flavor that left many laughing and gasping at the same time.
For the most part, the reaction to those words from the black community “hasn’t been that bad.” But there are detractors who don’t like him speaking out against a black president. Munk had a message for them:
“It’s disingenuous to complain about a black man saying something about Obama, when, during President Bush’s reign [he made sure to point out he meant to say "reign"] if you spoke out against the government at that time it was kind of this, ‘oh, you‘re not patriotic’ thing. And black people thought that was ridiculous. Well, if that was ridiculous then, it‘s just as ridiculous for you to say that I can’t speak out against Obama.”
So where does the long-bearded comedian, not afraid to criticize Obama, stand politically?
“I hate partisan anything” he told The Blaze from Virginia Beach, VA. “I rant just as much about Republicans as I do Democrats. I rant just as much about the Tea Party as I do liberals.” In fact, he thinks the idea of loyalty to a party is “retarded.”
In fact, he said he supports the president — whether George W. Bush or Barack Obama. But he always retains “the constitutional right to say, ‘that’s ridiculous.’”
Still can’t pin him down? You probably won’t be able to put him in a simple partisan box. Consider this: he’s not a fan of the health care bill (he calls it the “ugliest quilted blanket of health care crap I’ve ever seen”), but has a soft spot for Canada’s single-payer health system.
That seems to lean liberal.
“I think our government has made everything they possible could more difficult, and that‘s just during Obama’s presidency,” he said, later adding, “I think [the health care bill] was one of those things where you made a promise and now you force yourself to keep that promise even though what you eventually came up with was crap.” In other words, “squash it.”
That seems to lean conservative.
He doesn’t think the country is headed for communism like some conservatives, but he believes some of the “socialist” programs put in place during the Great Depression weren’t meant to go on indefinitely, and now some people have become dependent on them.
Liberal and conservative?
The rant he delivered that caught Beck’s eye, he explained, was just one of many issues he has with the president.
“There are, oh my God, a million things.” For example, he’s opposed to foreign aid to Somalia and Israel alike.
Still, he admits some of the things he ranted about in the video were slightly exaggerated for comedic effect.
What is he, then? How about a comedic conundrum.
Who is Felonious Munk?
Felonious Munk isn’t really Felonious Munk. His real name is Dennis Banks. And he said this is the first time he’s admitted that to the media.
He has a surprisingly deep knowledge of history — he spouted off people (both politicians and comedians) and terms from days past like he was, well, a stand-up version of Beck. And his path to comedy wasn’t an ordinary one. He went to college for accounting but then switched to IT after being bored with the former. He then worked in finance for almost 12 years, specifically in the car sales business.
Then, he said, the economy “forced” him into comedy — which is a way of saying business wasn’t good so he chose to do what he loved.
Still, his brand of comedy is different. There are curse words. It can be crass. There are plenty of laughs. But he also wants his craft to make people think.
“I thought comedy was always, ‘make me laugh, but let me go home and think about it,’” he explained, which he says is the offspring of his humor and his different way of thinking about things. Now he’s traveling across the country sharing it with as many people as possible.
And now, because of Beck, he’s tapping an audience that might not have ever known about him. And he’s okay with that. He’s even going to work it into his routine.
“I’m sure Glenn Beck is going to be a part of a few of my shows coming up. As a matter of fact, he’ll probably get a tribute video,” he said chuckling. Which is ironic, he added, because he’s made videos bashing Fox News in the past.
Almost twenty minutes into the interview, he finally started cracking jokes: “I think it’s kind of cool that Glenn Beck sees this video and goes, ‘Wow, this guy who kind of looks like bin Laden makes a point that I agree with.’” He‘s even thinking about donning a turban and Photoshopping himself shaking Beck’s hand.
And what about Beck’s own joke at the end of his radio show Thursday, wondering if Munk (or Banks) would be willing to join GBTV as a comedian?
“Truthfully, the only way you could get me to shave my beard is if I had that opportunity,” he said while laughing. “If Glenn Beck wanted to make me the Lewis Black of his new TV show, tell him I’m all over it, I’ve got material for months, and I’ve got a couple of really nice suits.”
“We could be like the Run DMC of the new politics.”
Now that’s a funny image!

Have Christians Gone Overboard in Outreach to Muslims?
"In the Muslim world, Islamists increasingly target Christians for persecution; in the Western world, Christians increasingly target Muslims for outreach. Extending a hand to followers of Islam can be praiseworthy, but the lengths to which some Christians have gone may come as a shock. Consider a few recent cases on the congregational level..."

Some day, Christians will realize that righteousness and peace come only where there is justice, and that sometimes justice is only implemented and maintained by force. There is a Biblical mandate to take up arms and defend oneself, one's family, and others when the hordes of injustice seek to overrun the land. There is a time for war. A lot of Christians seem to have forgotten that.

For certain Christians "justice" has come to mean the utopian poison of "social justice" has espoused by the useful idiots of the left. Therein lies the problem, everyone wants to feel they occupy the moral high-ground, many simply wish not to pay the real rent that entails.

It would be nice to see these dhimmi stooges travel to a Muslim majority country with their naïve outreach programs. Lets see how many Imams would be willing to graft a Church or Synagogue on to their Mosques. Why not see how outreach works when the Muslims are in the majority? Perhaps some insight into the real atmospherics of Islamic hegemony would open their eyes, I doubt it though, because their minds have been distorted by the world’s biggest lie that, all cultures are equal. May I suggest they start off in the birthplace of Islam, Saudi Arabia.

You're exactly right RE "social justice." Whenever I hear that term bandied about in our church or social circle, my first question is, "What do you mean when you say 'social justice'?" Near invariably, the answer involves socialism and other forms of coercion. - Blazing Cat Fur – (12:42 PM)

Square Mile Wife: "Loving your neighbor and enabling your neighbor are not the same thing."
That's for sure. The Christian Scriptures counsel us to "love our neighbor as ourselves." Loving ourselves definitely means not enabling our neighbor whose intention is to destroy us and our families.
Unfortunately, the image of gentle Jesus, meek and mild has overtaken the image of Jesus overturning the tables of the money changers (usurers) in the temple. Too many Christians have conflated loving with being nice.
Ask any (non-insane) parent about what it is to love their child; it often means tough love, discipline, saying "no," putting your foot down, hating the sin -- and making it clear that it's unacceptable -- while loving the sinner.
I say "down with niceness," and up with telling it like it is and not taking any crap from those who don't like us and who definitely don't want the best for us.
Jesus didn't tell us to lay our weapons down. He gave us spiritual weapons and told us, through Paul's letter to the Ephesians, to put on the full armor of God "against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6). He expects us to be aware that we are in a battle, the battle of good vs. evil, love vs. hate, life vs. death: "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm."
Are these the directives of a "nice" God? They're not. They're the directives of a loving God who has His eyes wide open. He wants us to have ours wide open too. - Melykin – (8:34 PM)

Rise of New World Power – Without America
SANYA, China (AP) -- The leaders of the world's largest emerging economies started a one-day summit in southern China on Thursday, looking for a bigger role in global financial institutions and also welcoming a new member.
Thursday's summit comes at a crucial moment for the expanded five-member bloc known as the BRICS, which groups Brazil, Russia, India, China, and, for the first time, South Africa.
With the G-20 group of major economies seeking to remake parts of the global financial architecture, leaders of the five countries -- Chinese President Hu Jintao, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and South African President Jacob Zuma -- will be tested to see if they can overcome internal differences and act as a bloc with common goals.
"The key priority is for the BRICS to put creative ideas on the table rather than just react defensively to proposals put forward by the advanced economies," said Cornell University economics professor Eswar Prasad, former head of the International Monetary Fund's China Division.
Though largely an ad-hoc grouping at present, the BRICS have the potential to emerge as a new force in world affairs on the back of their massive share of global population and economic growth. With the inclusion of South Africa, the group accounts for 40 percent of the world's people, 18 percent of global trade and about 45 percent of current growth, giving them formidable heft when dealing with the developed economies.
US – World's Major Food Supplier – Must Import Wheat to Fill Corn Gap
What imported from Australia and Europe - rather than home-grown grain - may fill a hole in American corn supplies, a leading analyst said on Monday, as investors continued to puzzle over controversial US crop data.
The US Department of Agriculture on Friday stunned markets by keeping its estimate for domestic corn supplies at the close of 2010-11 unchanged at 675m bushels, despite stocks at the half-way point falling 170m bushels short of expectations.
The estimate - which implies domestic corn use slumping from a record 7.2bn bushels in the first six months of 2010-11 to 4.4bn bushels in the second half – reflected a forecast that livestock farmers will, in the face of record corn prices, switch to US soft red winter wheat in feed rations.
However, Macquarie analyst Alex Bos, while acknowledging there may be some US substitution of corn ahead, raised doubts over the level to which it was US wheat which would fill the hole.
San Onofre Nuclear Plant Holds Mock Nuclear Disaster Drill The mock disaster unveiled Tuesday involved a broken water pump inside one of San Onofre's two concrete containment domes. In the unfolding drill, the broken pump led to a release of radioactive steam into the surrounding air that forced the evacuation of inland southeast Orange County and northwest Camp Pendleton.
As potential nuclear accidents go, the scenario bore little resemblance to the March 11 earthquake and massive tsunami that knocked out backup generators at Fukushima Dai-ichi, damaging that plant's ability to keep nuclear fuel cool inside the plant. Heat buildup at the Japanese plant eventually resulted in a series of explosions and the release of radioactive steam into the environment.
Drills like the three-day exercise that began Tuesday are held every two years and have attracted little attention in the past.
Harry Sherwood, technological hazards branch chief for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, said Tuesday's scenario had been planned long before the Japan disaster.
A team of about 30 observers from various federal agencies were on hand Tuesday to record and grade the responses of all Edison and emergency personnel who participated. The results will be assembled into a formal report to be released within 90 days.
No End in Sight for Fukushima Disaster
(NaturalNews) As the famous physicist Dr. Michio Kaku said on April 4th, "The situation at Fukushima is relatively stable now... in the same way that you are stable if you hang by your fingernails off a cliff, and your fingernails begin to break one by one."
(http://bigthink.com/ideas/37705). That same article also refers to the Fukushima damage assessment by the NRC's Nuclear Safety Team, which concluded that "cooling to the core of Unit 1 might be blocked by melted fuel and also by salt deposits left over from the use of sea water."
That's the same sea water, of course, that has been sprayed onto the fuel rods to prevent them from going Chernobyl. The unfortunate side effect of boiling off tens of thousands of gallons of sea water, however, is that is leaves behind a lot of salt. Japan now appears to have an abundance of radioactive sea salt that's unfortunately caked on top of the spent fuel rods and actually preventing much more water from reaching those rods. In a sense, spraying salt water on spent nuclear fuel rods is sort of like spraying them with a slow-acting insulation. It's only a matter of time, it seems, before that insulation make it impossible for water to keep the rods below meltdown temperatures.
Japan's Nuclear Volcano Erupts
"The risks associated with iodine-131 contamination in Europe are no longer "negligible," according to CRIIRAD, a French research body on radioactivity. The NGO is advising pregnant women and infants against "risky behavior," such as consuming fresh milk or vegetables with large leaves."
The group's warning underlines the dangers posed by the out-of-control facility which is causing unprecedented damage to earth, sea and sky. Fukushima is the nuclear death machine of which advocates of green technologies have warned for decades. But while the magnitude of the disaster grows larger by the day, the government's only response has been to expand the evacuation zone and try to shape news to avert a panic.

JUST A REMINDER AS TO THE REAL REASON THE ECONOMY CRASHED
Shocking Video Unearthed Democrats in their own words Covering up the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Scam that caused our Economic Crisis
Video – Fannie Mae Freddie Mack Scandal… in the Dem’s Own Words
Fannie, Freddie, Fraud
Last week, new research from Edward Pinto, a former chief credit officer for Fannie Mae and a housing expert, began to penetrate the media fog. Pinto has documented that as far back as 1993, Fannie and Freddie were buying risky subprime and Alt-A loans, but routinely misrepresenting them as prime.
Let me drive this point home. Without Fannie and Freddie's certification of millions of bad loans as safe, other banks both domestic and foreign wouldn't have bought them. More importantly, world financial markets wouldn't have relied on those packaged loans as collateral and collapsed when they went bad. Fannie and Freddie, both government-sponsored enterprises that are guaranteed and funded by U.S. taxpayers, committed fraud so massive it dwarfs the Enron scandal.
We Austrian economists saw this coming three decades ago. I warned in the 1980s that government involvement in the housing market would inevitably produce catastrophe. Even Republicans attacked me as an enemy of home ownership. The theory, held by many in both parties, was that owning a home made Americans stakeholders in the system and stabilized our economy. Others pushed the envelope further, using Fannie and Freddie as a way to give homes to low-income individuals. All very noble, of course, but it was always doomed. I hate to say I told you so but… well, actually, I don't.
Our current administration is, of course, sticking to the story line that this “great recession” is a failure of capitalism. This won't change because so many high-ranking administration officials profited from the mortgage fraud business.
The beginning of the Fannie and Freddie fraud that Pinto documents took place under the watch of Jim Johnson. You may know Johnson as the “trusted adviser” to the president who helped pick his running mate, Joe Biden.
While few know about Johnson's role in the financial collapse, many know him for his legendary generosity with Fannie's fake profits. As CEO of Fannie, he bestowed fortunes on his favorite causes, which made him one of the most popular people inside the beltway. Many of my colleagues spoke out against this laundering of the public's money for personal and political purposes, but were ignored or attacked.
Rep. Barney Frank was the chief defender of Fannie and Freddie, accusing anyone who wanted more oversight of the out-of-control institutions of being heartless, racist or both. While I'm not a huge fan of the Bush administration, the truth is that it made multiple attempts to rein in Fannie and Freddie. Unfortunately, they were successfully parried by Frank.
Over the weekend, administration talking heads were sticking to the line that they have deterred financial disaster with bailouts and stimulus spending.
I was not as worried about the initial financial collapse and resultant recession as I was worried about the so-called fixes. I predicted then that those programs, along with efforts at massive restructuring of the economy, would not only fail to create the jobs and upturn we were promised. I told you they would slow the recovery. I include, incidentally, President Bush's contribution to our debt and deficit as part of the problem.
Now you can read how this has actually come to pass in a great article by three University of Chicago economists, “Uncertainty and the Slow Recovery,” by Nobel laureate Gary Becker, Steven Davis and Kevin Murphy, in The Wall Street Journal online.
“In terms of U.S. output contractions, the so-called Great Recession was not much more severe than the recessions in 1973-75 and 1981-82.Yet recovery from the latest recession has started out much more slowly. For example, real GDP expanded by 7.7% in 1983 after unemployment peaked at 10.8% in December 1982, whereas GDP grew at an unimpressive annual rate of 2.2% in the third quarter of 2009. Although the fourth quarter is likely to show better numbers -- probably much better -- there are no signs of an explosive takeoff from the recession.
“We believe two factors are behind this rather tepid rebound. An obvious one is the severe financial crisis that precipitated this recession, with many major financial institutions receiving large bailouts from the federal government. The confidence of bankers and venture capitalists has been shattered, at least for a while, and it will take time for them to recover from the financial turmoil of the past couple of years. The household sector also faces a difficult period of financial retrenchment in the wake of a major collapse in home prices, overextended debt positions for many and high unemployment.
“The second factor is less obvious, but possibly also of great importance. Liberal Democrats won a major victory in the 2008 elections, winning the presidency and large majorities in both the House and Senate. They interpreted this as evidence that a large majority of Americans want major reforms in the economy, health care and many other areas. So in addition to continuing and extending the Bush-initiated bailout of banks, AIG, General Motors, Chrysler and other companies, Congress and President Obama signaled their intentions to introduce major changes in taxes, government spending and regulations -- changes that could radically transform the American economy.”
Those changes, the Chicago Boyz say, have inspired hesitation, uncertainty and fear in employers and investors. As a result, they've waited on the sidelines to see how things play out. Not very cheering, is it? The result is that while the administration takes credit for “jobs saved,” actual unemployment figures in some areas are at Great Depression levels.
Yes, yes, yes, Obama inherited a mess. The problem with that thinking is that Congress makes policies, not presidents. When government is split, the most a president can do is use the veto, something Bush should have done regularly. For the last two years of his presidency, Democrats had the power of Congress.
For two additional years, Congress was split. Democrats who now blame him for the totality of the financial failure are saying, implicitly, that he should have opposed Congress more vigorously, and I don't think that's their real message.
Anyway, I'm telling you that I was right about the all the ridiculous big-government solutions for a reason. I am fundamentally an optimist, and I am forecasting remarkable things in the not-so-distant future. I'm not, however, a blinkered Pollyanna like certain high-profile analysts whom we will not name.
My point is this: If someone doesn't have a history of accurate predictions, he has no right to ask others to believe him when he makes forecasts. And I'm forecasting that the recovery, delayed as it is, will be historically unprecedented. And if you don't want to believe me, believe Dr. Gary Becker, who has said to me, in both conversation and writing, the same thing.
For transformational profits, Patrick Cox
