The ever-elusive Sarah Palin is at it again. Following last night’s CNN/Tea Party Express GOP debate, the former Alaska governor launched attacks on a good portion of the Republican presidential field — a move that could further fuel speculation that she is looking to take a last-minute jump into presidential campaign waters.
Palin’s complaints about the candidates are plentiful. To begin, she feels they haven’t properly touched upon debt or deficit spending. Because of what she sees as a lack of focus in this area, she says, “they don’t have a record to stand on.”
Then there’s Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s HPV drama, which Palin also commented on. The Hill has more:
“I knew there was something to it,” Palin said of learning while she was Alaska’s governor that her Texas counterpart had given the go-ahead to the vaccine. “Now we’re finding that now, yea, something was up with that issue. It was an illustration or bit of evidence of some crony capitalism.”
Here Palin is referring to Rep. Michele Bachmann’s charge that Perry allowed a law mandating that young girls get the HPV shot because of a $5,000 campaign donation and a relationship he had with a former chief of staff.
Despite uttering these negative views, she did commend Bachmann for her willingness to call out fellow Republicans. Additionally, she called former House Speaker Newt Gingrich “bold” for addressing government waste and dubbed businessman Herman Cain’s private sector background “great.”
Watch her make these comments on Fox News’ “On the Record” with Greta Van Susteren, below:

While Palin still refuses to declare whether or not she’ll seek the American presidency, she’s “getting kind a kick” out of the way in which the candidates are responding to her. According to the former vice-presidential nominee, those vying for the GOP nod tend to adopt and then cover whatever topic she’s speaking about.
“I’m still thinking about it,” she said following Monday night’s debate. “I’m not going to let the media tell me, dictate when a drop-dead date should be,” she added.
Thus, the speculation continues.

CNN / GOP Tea Party Debate - The True Winners
CNN teamed up with the Tea Party Express to air another GOP Debate live from Tampa FL last night.
Patriots, give yourselves a round of applause. You were the true stars and winners of the CNN/Tea Party Express Republican Presidential Debate last night. Opinions vary as to which presidential candidate won. We The People were the biggest winners because for the first time millions who do not watch Fox News, do not listen to conservative talk radio and do not read conservative blogs got to see who we really are; not a bunch of redneck racists.
As Mary and I sat in the audience, I felt extremely proud of my Tea Party family. You showed the world you are articulate and well-informed regarding the issues. Regardless of the candidate, in response to their answers, you cheered and booed at the correct times. The contrast between tea party patriots and clueless Obama voters is quite glaring.
Brother and sister patriots, we have come a long way in two and a half years. I realized at the debate the days of simply attending “ra-ra” rallies are over. You guys have morphed into a massive army of well-educated well-prepared foot soldiers; boots on the ground doing the work to take back America. Just as Jesus instructed His disciples to fail not to assemble themselves together, tea party rallies are now for inspiration, ministering to each other and fellowship.
Each of you please continue using your gifts and talents and following your passion for our common goal. And still, our extraordinary Tea Party movement does not have a single Commander-in-Chief.
On second thought, I take that back. I believe we DO have a Commander-in-Chief. God!
I was amazed by the number of you who told me about your new conservative radio show, new books, new outreach to minorities, new art project to spread the conservative message, new prayer group for America and etc. You guys blew me away. You are awesome! We are winning! God bless.
