West was responding a question from a constituent asking “What percentage of the American legislature do you think are card-carrying Marxists?”

“That’s a fair question. I believe there’s about 78 to 81 members of the Democratic Party that are members of the Communist Party,” West says in the video.

He went on to say, “It’s called the Congressional Progressive Caucus,” according to a spokesman, who added “He stands by his words”. 

Representative West said, “It is a critical time for ideological debate. Much has been made of my recent response to a question from a constituent and my assertion regarding so-called “communists” in the Congressional Progressive Caucus (See list below). I am pleased it has inspired so much passionate debate, for that was precisely the point.”

During a Fox July Fourth special featuring Rep. Allen West (R-FL) and political strategist Frank Luntz, an audience member asked the Florida congressman how he expects to heal the America political system when he says divisive and “absurd” things like there are “70 Communists in the House of Representatives.”

Well as usual, liberals talk about tolerance and civil debate while doing the exact opposite, and like this guy, when called out on it, tries to shrug off labels to through off the the scent.

Then he tries to twist the history of intolerance in this country on to conservatives, and say that it was liberals who freed the slaves. RAWNG!!!  There is nothing worse than a know it all that knows nothing and has all his facts wrong!

Remember y’all liberalism is enjoying your needs and wants at the forced expense of someone else.

“I think one of the things that’s really ruined our politics is rhetoric,” said Aaron, the audience member. “And I think for a congressman to make the accusation that are 70 Communists in the House of Representatives is an absurd statement and it doesn’t really reflect the story you just told.”

Rep. West disagreed:

“But it does reflect the story I just told because it reflects a person that has studied political theory and ideology. I have a Bachelor’s degree and two Master’s degrees in political science, political theory, political ideology. And the thing is you have to be able to understand the two competing principles of philosophies of governance in this country,” Rep. West said.

He continued:

When you go back and you read the documents, the Declaration of Independence, the full declaration, the full Constitution, you’ll understand limited government, you’ll understand fiscal responsibility, you’ll understand individual sovereignty, free markets … strong national defense.

But there are people on the other side, and you can call them whatever you wish, you can call it Communism, Progressivism, Socialism, Marxism, or Statism …They believe in creating and expanding an entitlement or welfare state.

“And you can’t tell me that you’re not seeing that in the United States of America right now,” he added.

Did Obama Give Anti-Free Market Speech at Osawatomie for Communist Connection?

The term "righteous wind" used in Obama’s speech just isn't heard every day, but a search found it in this quote from Chairman Mao:

“The ill wind of opportunism is falling, the righteous wind of socialism is on the rise.”   Coincidence?

We’re told that Barack Obama chose the obscure locale of Osawatomie, Kansas, for his recent domestic policy speech because it was the site of a seminal Teddy Roosevelt speech 101 years ago. This may very well be true. Through the distinctively named city of 4,500, Obama could make a symbolic connection with the man who once offered Americans a Hamiltonian conception of state power dubbed the “New Nationalism.” Yet, unbeknownst to virtually everyone, Obama is connected to “Osawatomie” through another man.

It’s a connection that’s odd and alarming — and at least a bit spooky.

I didn’t know about this connection when I wrote my recent article about the President’s communist ties. But just to provide some background, I pointed out how Obama claimed in Osawatomie that our relatively free market system not only “doesn’t work,” “it has never worked.” Furthermore, I mentioned the fact that the President has appointed avowed communists to his administration, that he was mentored by communist Frank Marshall Davis, that a contemporary of his at Occidental College said that Obama was a flat-out “Marxist-Leninist” during his time there, and that he has no known history of renouncing these views. More to the point here, however, I mentioned well-known Obama closet skeleton and self-proclaimed communist Bill Ayers, who, as you probably know, was a Weather Underground terrorist in the 1970s. Now, to get exactly to the point, I’d like you to take a gander at the following image and see what jumps out at you.

This was the official newsletter of the terroristic Weather Underground Organization; this particular issue sports a picture of Vietnamese Marxist-Leninist leader Ho Chi Minh on the cover. And, as you can see, the name of this communist publication is “Osawatomie.”

Just like the place where Obama decided to give a speech in which he cast doubt upon the merits of economic freedom.

Now, I’m not one to jump to conclusions. To paraphrase Confucius, “Wisdom is, when you know something, knowing that you know it; and when you do not know something, knowing that you do not know it.” It’s certainly possible that Obama is completely unaware of the Weathermen terrorist Osawatomie newsletter; this is, after all, the man who indicated that the U.S. had 58 states and didn’t even correct himself. And even if he does or did know about it, it is entirely possible that his choice of little Osawatomie could have been motivated by a desire to invoke Rough Rider Roosevelt and not recreant Reds. Yes… could have been.

But given Obama’s history, another possibility suggests itself to the open-minded.

Was there an extra layer of symbolism in his choice of speech venue, one of which only the “initiated” and those shouting in the wilderness would be aware?

Was the President sending a message to his long-time socialist allies?

“I’m still with you,” perhaps?

Is it akin to an inside joke?

Are the initiated laughing behind the backs of the gun-and-religion-clinging majority and everyone else who doesn’t “get it”?

Of course, some left-wingers will criticize anyone who raises such a possibility, just as they scored me for penning the article I linked to earlier. And this is one reason why prominent figures, be they media types or politicians, won’t dare mention that the emperor has red clothes. I mean, we just never could elect someone like that in America, could we?

Nah, it could never happen here.

And to suggest otherwise is to descend into paranoia at best or the politics of personal destruction at worst. Except, to quote liberal icon Daniel Patrick Moynihan, “You’re entitled to your own opinions, but you’re not entitled to your own facts.” And it is a fact that the President of these United States has a history of making bedfellows of communists, most recently those he appointed to his administration.

If it matters that Newt Gingrich was unfaithful to his wives many years ago, it matters infinitely more that Barack Obama has been unfaithful to freedom and the American spirit by continuing, to this very day, his affair with a tyrannical, malevolent force that leaves nothing but the ruin of man in its wake.

Even worse, Woodward admitted he asked Gore how much the public knows about what went on during the Clinton administration. The answer: 1%, a number Woodward says made him feel 'icky'. Woodward is no stranger to corruption in the White House as he helped expose President Nixon’s crimes and abuse of power to the public.

The Hill reports:

In a speech at the Organization for International Investment’s annual dinner at D.C.’s Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Thursday, the famed Washington Post journalist, who helped uncover the Watergate scandal, disclosed that he doesn’t enjoy the former vice president as a tablemate.

…

Woodward offered up another tidbit from the conversation with his dinner companion. The investigative reporter asked the politician, more than five years after leaving office, how much the public knows about what went on during the Clinton administration. Gore replied, “One percent.”

Woodward admitted that revelation made him feel a bit icky, saying, “I kind of died inside and have to confess to having an unclean thought.”

With our controlled press, it is interesting to see that German citizens seem to know more about the U.S. political system and environment than the majority of citizens on the streets of America …  No topics are off limit. 

So in reality, socialistic Europe appears to me less politically correct and more open to speaking out than the supposed land of the free… so when did that happen?  (They are also a bit less inhibited about many things.)

So, now Obama is channeling Teddy Roosevelt… Touting a ‘Republican’ for Progressive values. Key word here – ‘Progressive.’ Hello… Synonymous with ‘Marxist and hey, this oldie but goodie, ‘Communism.’ Obama just slid out of ‘Socialist’ speak, straight into ‘Communism.’ Well, how warm and fuzzy is that? Beck was right again.

I would just like to remind everyone out there that Teddy Roosevelt FOUNDED the Progressive Party. Let’s take a look at sections of Obama’s speech yesterday:

Today, we are still home to the world’s most productive workers and innovative companies. But for most Americans, the basic bargain that made this country great has eroded. Long before the recession hit, hard work stopped paying off for too many people. Fewer and fewer of the folks who contributed to the success of our economy actually benefitted from that success. Those at the very top grew wealthier from their incomes and investments than ever before. But everyone else struggled with costs that were growing and paychecks that weren’t – and too many families found themselves racking up more and more debt just to keep up.

For many years, credit cards and home equity loans papered over the harsh realities of this new economy. But in 2008, the house of cards collapsed. We all know the story by now: Mortgages sold to people who couldn’t afford them, or sometimes even understand them. Banks and investors allowed to keep packaging the risk and selling it off. Huge bets – and huge bonuses – made with other people’s money on the line. Regulators who were supposed to warn us about the dangers of all this, but looked the other way or didn’t have the authority to look at all.

It was wrong. It combined the breathtaking greed of a few with irresponsibility across the system. And it plunged our economy and the world into a crisis from which we are still fighting to recover. It claimed the jobs, homes, and the basic security of millions – innocent, hard-working Americans who had met their responsibilities, but were still left holding the bag.

More of the same old ‘redistribute the wealth’ mentality that has gotten us into the mess we are in today. And it mixes truth with lies. I know firsthand what it means to have to short sell your home and THEN have to pay the bank 20k on top of it. I am living it, but it is my responsibility, NOT the government’s and I don’t expect anyone else to pay my debts. I know firsthand what it is like for your spouse to lose his job and look for work for a year, but we did it. I know firsthand what it is to have 50k in debt and refuse to declare bankruptcy and be determined to pay back every single penny. I know firsthand what is to lose everything and start over. And as of yesterday, I know firsthand what it is like to lose your health and dental insurance because of Obamacare. So, let’s be clear President Obama. You weren’t left holding the bag, Americans were left holding the bag. You are getting rich on the side while we struggle. But the majority of Americans keep true to their responsibilities and debts, which is a hell of a lot better than what I can say for our so-called leaders. Communists don’t shoulder the blame, they assign it.

Next:

Ever since, there has been a raging debate over the best way to restore growth and prosperity; balance and fairness. Throughout the country, it has sparked protests and political movements – from the Tea Party to the people who have been occupying the streets of New York and other cities. It’s left Washington in a near-constant state of gridlock. And it’s been the topic of heated and sometimes colorful discussion among the men and women who are running for president.

But this isn’t just another political debate. This is the defining issue of our time. This is a make or break moment for the middle class, and all those who are fighting to get into the middle class. At stake is whether this will be a country where working people can earn enough to raise a family, build a modest savings, own a home, and secure their retirement.

Now, in the midst of this debate, there are some who seem to be suffering from a kind of collective amnesia. After all that’s happened, after the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, they want to return to the same practices that got us into this mess. In fact, they want to go back to the same policies that have stacked the deck against middle-class Americans for too many years. Their philosophy is simple: we are better off when everyone is left to fend for themselves and play by their own rules.

Oh, there’s a raging debate going on all right… But you are lying through your pearly whites over it. While the Tea Party is a genuine movement of the people of this great nation and the epitome of rugged individualism, Occupy Wall Street is an engineered Marxist ploy to create chaos in the streets so you can have your way with the Constitution and create an emergency that will solidify your iron grip on power over us. Before you were elected, America had the largest and freest middle class in the world. You sir, are actively destroying it for personal gain.

You got us into this depression. You are the one leading the charge to curtail our freedoms. Let’s get something straight here. Let me be blunt. I’m guilty of this too and did not even know it until I found out about our insurance yesterday. Not so long ago, people in America did not just take for granted you would get insurance through work. We didn’t expect our employers to cover us. If we had to get insurance or see a doctor or dentist, we figured it out. It’s another freebie we now expect and it is wrong.

Free benefits and easy credit are like heroin. Our Progressive leaders are more than happy to get us hooked on it. No one owes us insurance or a house or a job or an education. We are free to earn that for ourselves. But to accept just one hit of heroin is to become a slave to the dealer – the Progressives. That is why our parents and grandparents would never take a handout. Get it now? I don’t blame my husband’s employer. I’ll bet he went home last night after telling everyone and felt like hell. I think it costs him about 25k a month to cover everyone and under the new regs, it’s more likely to be 50k. Who the hell can afford that? I feel for the guy – this is not his responsibility. Get over it. It’s ours. If he hadn’t done that yesterday, many people would be out of a job today and that business might have closed it’s doors for good. If there is any blame here, blame the Progressives on both sides of the aisle, starting with Obama.

Next:

Well, I’m here to say they are wrong. I’m here to reaffirm my deep conviction that we are greater together than we are on our own. I believe that this country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, when everyone does their fair share, and when everyone plays by the same rules. Those aren’t Democratic or Republican values; 1% values or 99% values. They’re American values, and we have to reclaim them.

You see, this isn’t the first time America has faced this choice. At the turn of the last century, when a nation of farmers was transitioning to become the world’s industrial giant, we had to decide: would we settle for a country where most of the new railroads and factories were controlled by a few giant monopolies that kept prices high and wages low? Would we allow our citizens and even our children to work ungodly hours in conditions that were unsafe and unsanitary? Would we restrict education to the privileged few? Because some people thought massive inequality and exploitation was just the price of progress.

Theodore Roosevelt disagreed. He was the Republican son of a wealthy family. He praised what the titans of industry had done to create jobs and grow the economy. He believed then what we know is true today: that the free market is the greatest force for economic progress in human history. It’s led to a prosperity and standard of living unmatched by the rest of the world.

But Roosevelt also knew that the free market has never been a free license to take whatever you want from whoever you can. It only works when there are rules of the road to ensure that competition is fair, open, and honest. And so he busted up monopolies, forcing those companies to compete for customers with better services and better prices. And today, they still must. He fought to make sure businesses couldn’t profit by exploiting children, or selling food or medicine that wasn’t safe. And today, they still can’t.

Let’s talk about Roosevelt, shall we? He started the Progressive movement. He was a Progressive on the right. Progressive equals Communist. Do the math. Roosevelt preached collectivism and was an anti-capitalist. I don’t give a damn which side of the aisle he was on. You might as well go with the Russian Constitution, because the American one is the absolute opposite of what Obama is preaching in the name of Roosevelt. And don’t forget, Roosevelt led to Woodrow Wilson getting elected. If we get another four years of Obama’s Marxist ways, we are kaput as a nation. Done. How I long for Calvin Coolidge.

Fairness for all, equals fairness for none. Can’t people see that? You can’t regulate fairness. A free and open society where you are free to succeed or fail is the only way to prosper. Our founding fathers knew that. Our treasonous leaders know it too. Obama and his toadies have taken the freest and most prosperous nation in the world and have regulated them to death and crushed our Constitution.

Next:

In 1910, Teddy Roosevelt came here, to Osawatomie, and laid out his vision for what he called a New Nationalism. “Our country,” he said, “…means nothing unless it means the triumph of a real democracy…of an economic system under which each man shall be guaranteed the opportunity to show the best that there is in him.”

For this, Roosevelt was called a radical, a socialist, even a communist. But today, we are a richer nation and a stronger democracy because of what he fought for in his last campaign: an eight hour work day and a minimum wage for women; insurance for the unemployed, the elderly, and those with disabilities; political reform and a progressive income tax.

Obama’s ‘new nationalism’ will more closely resemble 1930′s Germany and not America. To ‘guarantee’ success, is to ‘guarantee’ mediocrity and slavery. That is the only success that comes of such mandates. Competition and striving to be better is the only thing that produces true success. It is not a trophy for all.

I can’t take it any more. Lie after lie after lie. You can read the rest of the speech here. I suggest you have receptacle handy to vomit in. I choose freedom over nationalism. I choose to be a capitalist over a communist.

The rest of the speech goes on blaming America in general for losing jobs overseas. Actually, Obama’s policies have driven most of those jobs and employers out of the country. Good jobs and a strong economy are created by less taxation, smaller government and, horrors, capitalism. Class warfare, collectivism, wealth redistribution and Marxism are a short road to hell. Set America free Obama! Stop trying to take your ‘square deal‘ and shove it in a round hole.

Aaron Klein, Jerusalem bureau chief for World Net Daily, writes from New York:

It was progressives who won the midterm elections, particularly a socialist-founded Congressional caucus that emerged from last week’s ballots virtually unscathed, noted an article published by the George Soros-funded Institute for Policy Studies, or IPS, a Marxist-oriented think tank in Washington, DC.

The article goes on to recommend that President Obama govern from executive order to push through a progressive agenda.

“Progressives won in the 2010 mid-term elections,” wrote Karen Dolan, a fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies and director of the Cities for Progress and Cities for Peace projects based at the radical organization.

“The Congressional Progressive Caucus, the largest caucus in the House Democratic Caucus at over 80 members, emerged virtually unscathed, losing only three members,” she wrote, in the piece published on the IPS website.

“By contrast, the conservative Blue Dog Democratic caucus was more than sliced in half from 54 members to only 26. Further, of the 34 conservative Dems who voted against Obama’s Healthcare Reform, a mere 12 won re-election,” she wrote.

Dolan declared that “our work is now finally beginning.”

“The veil of a happy Democratic governing majority is finally lifted. We didn’t have it then; We don’t have it now. But what we do have now is a more solidly progressive bunch of Dems in Congress and a president presumably less encumbered by the false illusion that playing nice will get him a date with the other team.”

She went on to recommend that progressives “throw our support unabashedly behind the Congressional Progressive Caucus and let’s push Obama to finally do the right thing through as many Executive Orders as we can present to him.”

WND previously reported the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which boasts more than 80 members, was founded by the Democratic Socialists of America, or DSA.

Almost all caucus members were victorious in their respective elections last week, with a few notable exceptions. Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kirkpatrick, D-Mich., was defeated in her primary. Reps. Alan Grayson of Florida’s 8th District, John Hall of New York’s 19th District and Phil Hare of Illinois’ 17th District all came up losers. Hall and Hare are two-term incumbents while Grayson is a freshman.

Working within Democratic Party

Demonstrating the close relationship between the DSA and the Progressive Caucus, two weeks ago WND reported the Democratic chairman of the powerful House Judiciary Committee was caught on tape meeting with DSA leaders to discuss how the group can cooperate to strengthen President Obama and advance their “one-world” plans.

Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., who has a long history with the DSA, was recorded promoting a “one-world” government while asking the socialist group to organize against the war in Afghanistan and in support of Obama’s policies.

Conyers was a special guest at a two-day convention in Detroit in March 1982 that resulted in the formation of DSA.

Conyers has spoken at numerous DSA events, including at the socialist group’s national dinner in 2008, where he was the keynote.

Conyers was one of 13 founders of Congressional Black Caucus, which long has promoted far-left causes. He is the most prominent lawmaker lobbying to free Mumia Abu-Jamal, the convicted murderer of a Philadelphia police officer. He has advocated on behalf of the Marxist Nicaraguan Sandinista dictatorship and has called for the U.S. to end its sanctions against Fidel Castro’s communist regime.

The DSA has been linked closely to the Democratic Party’s Progressive Caucus.

Until November 2002, the website of the Progressive Caucus was hosted by the DSA. Following news reports that drew attention to the congressional website being hosted by the socialist organization, the list of CPC names was moved to the website of Sen. Bernard Sanders, I-Vt., an avowed socialist, and eventually to its own site.

The Democratic Socialists of America’s chief organizing goal is to work within the Democratic Party and remove the stigma attached to “socialism” in the eyes of most Americans.

“Stress our Democratic Party strategy and electoral work,” explains an organizing document of the DSA. “The Democratic Party is something the public understands, and association with it takes the edge off. Stressing our Democratic Party work will establish some distance from the radical subculture and help integrate you to the milieu of the young liberals.”

TSA Sheeple Experiment Successful – Next Phase of America’s Imprisonment Begins

There once was a time–not so very long ago–when what I am about to write would be consigned to the “tin-foil hat” group;  that classification that says all who participate are “loonies” and/or “kooks.”  But, that was before The Obama rose to power in the United States of America.  And that was, of course, before Obama & Co (funded heavily by he-who-says-he-is-god George Soros) began the systematic dismantling of the USA, the cessation of our Constitutional liberties and freedoms and the intense preparations for our enslavement and imprisonment began.

Note: On 3 June 1993, Soros told The Independent News:  “If truth be known, I carried some rather potent messianic fantasies with me from childhood, which I felt I had to control, otherwise they might get me into trouble.  It is a sort of disease when you consider yourself some kind of God, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out.”

During the TSA gropings (the term “pat-downs” is way too mild for what they actually affect) began to be inflicted upon the American public (but apparently only one segment of said public) in the nation’s airports.  If you will notice–from the myriad YouTube videos that have appeared, only non-Muslim, non-minority American adults and their children seem to be groped by TSA Agents.  And, as actress and entertainer Christine Ebersole advised when she has been–on several occasions–groped by female TSA Agents, she felt as though she was being forced into submission by prison guards and that we have now moved into tribal law.  After one of Ebersole’s experiences, in which she refused to be touched by a TSA Agent, the Agent told her that she shouldn’t fly anymore and that she–the Agent–could call the police at any time and have her (Ebersole) removed…and we assume jailed.  Tragically, as few have complained (and parents have even allowed their children to be groped!) the TSA sexual groping of only non-Muslim and–at least predominantly–non-minority US citizens are subject to said groping, the suspension of the US Constitution’s 4th Amendment (and a few others) has been successful.  Now, the Stalinist/Hitlerian ObamaGov has moved to its next phase of our enslavement.

In various parts of our country (including a number of locations in North Carolina), towers resembling prison guard towers are being erected–some if not most in large Wal-Mart parking lots.  The company erecting them is ICX Technologies, which–from its website–builds “mobile observation towers,  provide a high level platform for an array of surveillance options” and “mobile perimeter surveillance platform capable of rapid deployment.”  Oh and, by the way, guess from where the money for these came.  Wal-Mart you say?  Not even close.  The money comes from the federal government and Obama Stimulus money (his “stash”) that was originally stolen by the usurper and dictator from you–the taxpayer.  In other words, We-the-People are now paying for our own imprisonment.  No wonder Obama continues to laugh and smile.

Under The Obama regime, Conspiracy theories are not theories and–to quote Rev. Wright–the Obama subjugations (without strong opposition from the American people) are now “comin’ home to roost.”  That one fateful election in 2008 had the most dire consequences ever to befall our nation.

Still think those recently refurbished FEMA camps and the ObamaGov’s military ads for “Internment Resettlement Specialists” are nothing to worry about?  Really?
