Watcher’s Council Nominations: I suppose it all comes down to what your priorities are….Hawaiian vacays, dysfunctional websites and the like versus veteran’s benefits. But when you break a promise to people who are putting their lives on the line, they simply tend to not want to do that anymore.And as Hugh Hewitt points out, the word spreads, and others make the same decision. Whether Paul Ryan realizes it or not, he’s simply playing along with what President Obama has wanted all along, even going back to 2009 when he tried to take VA benefits away from our wounded warriors to make them buy private healthcare. He wants to hollow out the military, perhaps replacing much of it with that domestic security force he’s always talked about…and has made some decent strides towards creating. The Republican establishment, who were terrified of shutting down the government in order to persuade this president to exercise some fiscal sanity and okayed the sequester instead did the same thing.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton erupted at Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) during his questioning Wednesday over whether there were protests in Benghazi, Libya before the deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission.
Johnson was insisting that the American people were “misled” about protests that supposedly occurred over an anti-Islam video, similar to those that had taken place at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo hours earlier on Sept. 11, 2012. It was later determined there had been no protests in Benghazi and the assault was labeled a terrorist attack.
“Do you disagree with me that a simple phone call to those evacuees to determine what happened would have ascertained immediately that there was no protest?” Johnson asked Clinton during the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing. “That was a piece of information that could have been easily, easily obtained, within hours if not days.”
“Senator, when you’re in these positions, the last thing you want to do is interfere with any other process going on — ” Clinton started to answer.
” — I realize that’s a good excuse,” Johnson cut in.
“Well, no, it’s the fact,” Clinton said sharply, adding that there are questions being raised “even today” about what precisely happened in Benghazi.
She continued, “Now, we have no doubt they were terrorists, they were militants, they attacked us, they killed our people. But what was going on and why they were doing what they were doing, is still — ”
“No, no, no, again, again — we were misled that there were supposedly protests and then something sprang out of that, an assault sprang out of that and that was easily ascertained that that was not the fact and the American people could have known that within days,” Johnson said. “And they didn’t know that.”
“With all respect, the fact is we have four dead Americans was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans,” Clinton shouted. “What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, senator.”

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton faced a tough line of questioning Wednesday as lawmakers grilled her on the deadly terrorist attack that occurred in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, 2012. No one posed tougher questions than Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who blasted the “inexcusable” failure of “leadership” Clinton displayed in the time leading up to the assault.
Paul told Clinton he was glad she had decided to take responsibility for the “worst tragedy since 9/11″ but that doesn’t excuse the State Department for ignoring cables from Benghazi asking for additional security and warning of extremist activity.
“Had I been president at the time, and I found that you did not read the cables from Benghazi, you did not read the cables from Ambassador Stevens, I would have relieved you of your post,” he said. “I think it’s inexcusable.”
He continued: “I would think that by anybody’s estimation, Libya has to have been one of the hottest of hotspots around the world. Not to know of the requests for securities really, I think, cost these people their lives. Their lives could have been saved if someone had been more available, had someone been aware of these things, more on top of the job.”
Paul went on to say that he does not suspect Clinton of “bad motives” but that doesn’t excuse her negligence in the situation, even it was wasn’t “willful.”

The senator followed up by asking Clinton whether she had any knowledge of the transfer of weapons to Turkey out of Libya. She denied having any knowledge of it, but took the question “for the record,” never denying it.
“To Turkey?” Clinton asked, perplexed. “I will have to take the question for the record, nobody’s ever raised that with me.”
“It’s been in news reports that ships have been leaving from Libya and that that they may have weapons,” Paul pressed. “And what I’d like to know is the annex that was closely, were they involved with procuring, buying, selling, obtaining weapons and were any of these weapons being transferred to other countries, any countries.”
“Well, senator, you will have to direct that question to the agency that ran the annex. I will see what information is available,” Clinton replied.
“You’re saying you don’t know,” Paul shot back.
“I don’t know. I don’t have any information on that,” she said.
Chaffetz: State Dept Hiding Benghazi Survivors
One must ask… Why has the worldwide media already been given access to the witnesses and survivors of the very recent attack in Algeria, yet after all this time, no one can get to the survivors and witnesses of the Benghazi attacks?!? Seems some of the Algerian attackers were among the Sept 11th Benghazi attackers…
Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R- UT) told Breitbart News on Wednesday that he has been “thwarted” by the State Department from seeing any Americans who survived the deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi. Many people forget that there were Americans who survived the Benghazi attack, some of whom were badly injured and are still recovering.
“My understanding is that we still have some people in the hospital. I’d like to visit with them and wish them nothing but the best but the State Department has seen it unfit for me to know who those people are—or even how many there are,” Rep. Chaffetz said. "I don’t know who they are. I don’t know where they live. I don’t know what state they’re from. I don’t even know how many there are. It doesn’t seem right to me."
“This is so patently different than any other experience I’ve had. Unfortunately, people have been killed and maimed and in harm’s way in Afghanistan and Iraq and in points beyond. It’s typically been the case that they would release those names but in this case, they won’t. My challenge is to the media. You try and figure it out. They won’t let Congress know. They won’t seem to let the media know either.”

Many are already talking about Hillary Clinton running for president in 2016, when in reality if the media had done their job, that would not even be a consideration. Other than Senator Rand Paul (TN), Senator Ron Johnson (WI) and Congressman Jeff Duncan (SC), very few Senators or Congressmen asked any tough questions: Where are the survivors and witnesses from Benghazi and why can’t we hear from them?; What about the reports that you (Hillary), the President and VP, Leon Panetta, etc. all watched the Benghazi incident live and told people who could have helped to stand down?; What about the leaks that the CIA was using the Benghazi Consulate for rendition and gun running?… and the list of unasked questions goes on? The few times that Hillary was asked a tougher question or when she mis-spoke about Chris Stevens knowing about the dangers in the area he was going to when he took the post, she either became very defensive, began stammering or staged a tantrum (see above).
Until Americans take the responsibility to inform themselves and to speak up, demanding that their elected officials ask the right questions and then act, America will not change and will not improve. And as long as we keep re-electing people that lie to us or on the flip side sit on committees and have no spine, America’s place in the world will continue to diminish and our situation at home will continue to decline!

On Sunday morning, BuzzFeed correspondent Michael Hastings emailed Philippe Reines, Hillary Clinton's longtime aide and personal spokesman at the State Department, asking a series of pointed questions about State's handling of the Benghazi fiasco, and Reines' over-the-top attack on CNN. The emails quickly got personal, with Reines calling Hastings an "unmitigated asshole" before an exchange of harsh words on both sides.
The email chain concluded with Reines writing that Hastings should "Fuck Off" and "Have a good life."

Do you still feel that there was adequate security at the compound, considering it was not only overrun but sensitive personal effects and possibly other intelligence remained out for anyone passing through to pick up? Your statement on CNN sounded pretty defensive--do you think it's the media's responsibility to help secure State Department assets overseas after they've been attacked?

I'm adding my colleague Toria Nuland who I believe you know. She has addressed much of your questions below during her daily press briefings, so I'll let her weigh in to remind you of what's already been thoroughly answered. As far as the tone of my email, I think you're misreading mine as much as I'm misreading yours as being needlessly antagonistic.
But on your questions pertaining to CNN's handling of the diary:
• You know that all USG personnel were evacuated from Benghazi after the attack. So I'm not sure why you're asking why State didn't find the diary first.
• On material, I'll let Toria reiterate, but the answer is no. Though you might want to ask CNN if they took anything else from the crime scene that they haven't yet told anyone about.
• In terms of the media's responsibility, I'll start with the outlandish statement that I believe the media does have responsibilities. Your question seems to imply they have none and any expectation of responsible behavior is too much to ask. To be specific:I believe CNN had the responsibility to act as human beings and be sensitive to their loss when they first approached the family.
I believe CNN had a responsibility to not make promises to the family it would not keep.
If that's too much to ask, I believe CNN had at the very least a responsibility to make their intentions on the use of Chris's diary clear to the family from the outset.
I believe CNN had a responsibility to not deceive its own viewers for more than 48 hours on the source of their reporting, using convoluted attribution they themselves had to clarify, before admitting it was the diary they were relying on.
I believe that when they finally did admit to using Chris's diary, they had a responsibility to their viewers and to the family to explain why they broke their pledge.
I believe that many within CNN agree with everything I'm saying.
More than anything else, I believe that CNN - since they had already read every word of the diary before calling the family on Friday the 14th, the day Chris's remains were returned home - had all the information they needed at that point to make an editorial decision on whether the contents of the diary compelled them to report on it. I believe the time to invoke their standards to justify using the diary came six days late. I believe that CNN, if they felt strongly that they had an obligation to use the diary should never have presented the family with a choice in the first place that they'd later disregard.
I don't believe that CNN should get credit for issuing a flimsy confession only when caught with their hands in the cookie jar. I believe the statement CNN issued late last night, 24 hours after Anderson Cooper's ill-conceived statement on air, basically says they agreed not to use it until they didn't feel like it anymore, and only admitted to it when they were about to be caught. I don't believe that's much of a profile in courage.
Lastly, I believe that you of all people, after famously being accused of violating agreed upon ground rules and questionable sourcing, would agree that it's important for a news organization to maintain its own integrity if it is to be trusted. That begins with keeping its word. If you can't manage that, then don't give it.
I realize that the way this works is that you only you get to ask me questions, but I have one for you: if you were in Benghazi, went to the scene of the attack, found the ambassador's diary, read every word of it, would you have called them and asked their permission to use it, then when you weren't granted that permission agree that you wouldn't use it in any way, and then a few days later just change your mind?
If the answer is yes, then you obviously agree that CNN handled this perfectly fine.
If the answer is no, if you would have decided its contents demanded reporting immediately, how would you have handled this differently then CNN?
And you should feel free to use every word above, in its entirety. Though I suspect you won't.

Thanks for getting back to me. No, you read my email correctly--I found your statement to CNN offensive.
From my perspective, the scandal here is that the State Department had such inadequate security procedures in place that four Americans were killed. And then the Ambassador's diary--and who knows what else--was left behind for anyone to pick up. Thankfully, it was CNN--and not Al Qaeda or some other militia--that found it and was able to return it to the family. That CNN used portions of the material in the diary they found at the scene--material that appears to contradict the official version of events that State/WH has been putting out--is completely in line with practices of good journalism.
I don't know how involved Arwa Damon has been in this. But for what it's worth, Arwa is one of the best war correspondents working today. She's consistently risked her life to get these stories, and to find out what actually happens in these conflict zones.I do agree that the media has lots of responsibilities, and CNN fulfilled its responsibility by returning the diary while still managing to inform the American public of newsworthy information. So it's unfortunate that you are trying to make a scapegoat out of CNN. That State was forced to flee Benghazi--again, because of such inadequate security, leaving behind all sorts of sensitive information--tells us more about DoS than CNN.
The misinformation here seems largely to be coming from State and the administration. The defense that the administration has offered that there was no intelligence warning of an attack is weak. If there was no intel, then clearly the CIA and other intel agents stationed in Benghazi weren't doing their jobs well. If there was intel, then we have some kind of cover-up--whether out of incompetence or ass covering before the election or just the trauma of losing four good men, it's hard for me to say at this point.

World-famous mistress of former U.S. President Bill Clinton’s Monica Lewinsky decided to make some more money on her controversial past. Lewinsky will write memoires. The former White House trainee negotiates the details of her book with major publishers.
Reportedly, the forgotten sex scandal star has already requested $12 million for her confessions, including those about her relationship with Clinton. Many believe that her story is not worth the money. However, Lewinsky has not signed the deal, although several publishers are interested in the publication of the book.
Meanwhile, American journalists try to show as much humor as they can in their comments about the Lewinsky confessions, BFM.Ru reports. TJ Walker, a famous columnist with Forbes and The Wall Street Journal tried to guess what the new book was going to be about: “What is it? A time capsule? What time is it? 1998? It’s been 14 years since we had to look at this woman day after day. She got her millions from that. She had her Barbara Walters sit-down. And now she is going to write another book. What in the world is she going to say in it? Is it – “nobody has given a damn about me for 14 years?” Second chapter: “I am an idiot. I’ve never done anything interesting in my entire life other than fooling around with the president.” Chapter Three: “I’ve done a handbag campaign and a bunch of other things, but they all were a failure because everyone thought of me as that one thing.”
Monica has not confirmed her plans about the memories yet, but her friends told reporters what her new book could be about. According to one of them, she can share what she knows about Bill’s insatiable desires for threesomes, orgies and sex toys of all kinds, RBC says.
The president’s ex-lover recalled how he spoke disparagingly of his wife, calling her a “cold fish” and making fun of her “non-existent sex life.” Bill Clinton also suggested that Hillary had also cheated on him.
Rumor has it that Hillary Clinton knows about Lewinsky’s plans and is furious about it, Express Gazeta wrote. If the book is ever published, the sitting secretary of state will hardly ever become president.
Of course the possibility of a Hillary Clinton presidency is all but gone now, anyway, now that Americans realize that it was Hillary who made the decision not to send Marines to our Consulate in Benghazi Libya that resulted in the murder and torture of our Ambassador Christopher Stevens and 3 additional Americans, added to by 9-days of lies by Hillary herself, the State Department and the White House about the cause of the events in Egypt, the terror attack on American soil (our Consulate) in Libya and throughout the Middle East and much of the world.

Media Rehabilitate Clinton for DNC Appearance

The author of the explosive book, The Whistleblower: How the Clinton White House Stayed in Power to Reemerge in the Obama White House, tells Accuracy in Media that the scheduled speaking appearance of former President Bill Clinton at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday is more evidence that the media whitewash of the Clintons continues.
Investigative journalist Marinka Peschmann says, “Only in Obama’s America would Bill Clinton, who employed Betsy Wright to handle ‘bimbo eruptions,’ used lawyers to intimidate women into signing phony affidavits to cover-up his despicable history of abusing women, including rape, be recast as the Democrat savior statesman to nominate Barack Obama for President of the United States at the Democratic National Convention.”
While the major media were recently preoccupied with the question of what Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin said or meant by comments on abortion and rape, Bill Clinton was personally accused of rape by Juanita Broaddrick. Peschmann says the Broaddrick allegation was entirely credible: “I’ve met with her. She’s 110 percent credible and there are more rape allegations out there.” Hillary helped cover it up, and “Clinton defenders still blindly rally behind them,” she says.
In a “Smoke and mirrors alert” on her website, Peschmann has posted an entertaining video featuring some of the most notable distortions, outrageous statements, and lies told by the Clintons over the years.
Her book is the story of Linda Tripp, whose tape recordings revealed the information that led to Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial for perjury in the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Clinton was the second president in history to be impeached. The Senate, however, failed to convict him.
Clinton, who had denied having sex with Lewinsky, a former White House intern, later admitted it, after evidence was produced of the affair. Tripp had made secret telephone recordings of conversations she had with Lewinsky for insurance purposes to protect herself from the Clintons in the event they lied again in another court case.
As Peschmann explains, “The big story the media missed or ignored was that Linda had been a Clinton team-player during the earlier investigations to keep her job serving in Hillary’s White House counsel office. She had followed orders and was still kicked out of the White House. The Lewinsky case was not the first investigation the Clintons tried to obstruct, nor would it be the last. We saw it happen again during the 9/11 Commission investigation when Sandy Berger, the Clintons’ National Security Advisor, was caught removing documents from the National Archives. But Lewinsky was the only one that had forensic evidence to expose the Clintons’ latest attempt to thwart the rule of law.”
Tripp had advised Lewinsky to keep the blue dress with forensic evidence of her sexual relations with Clinton. “Thank God, she did. Linda knew from the earlier investigations in which she was a team-player the Clintons had no problem with obstructing justice,” Peschmann said. The blue dress helped expose Bill Clinton’s lies.
In one of the more notorious statements from the scandal, Bill Clinton had tried to dodge a perjury charge by insisting that oral sex with Lewinsky wasn’t actually sex.
In the end, Peschmann notes, on his final full day in office, Clinton struck a deal with independent counsel Robert W. Ray, giving up his Arkansas law license for five years and acknowledging having provided false testimony under oath. These admissions spared Clinton a possible indictment.
Peschmann has released exclusive audio clips with Linda Tripp on her website to back up her reporting that the Clintons would not want you to hear.
Peschmann points out that the dereliction of duty by the press regarding the Clintons was so grave that, during Hillary’s 2008 failed bid for the presidency, even author Camille Paglia noted, “For all the claims of media bias and ill treatment by her male fellow candidates, Hillary has got off absurdly softly in this campaign. No one—neither her rivals nor mainstream journalists—has had the guts to explore or even list the bursting catalogue of past Clinton scandals, in which Hillary was nearly always hip deep.”
“People have short memories,” Peschmann tells AIM. “The truth is Bill and Hillary Clinton left the White House in disgrace, scandal-ridden and dodging indictments—remember Pardongate? Since then they have been masterful at re-crafting and re-branding themselves as moderates compared to President Barack Obama—so effective that notables on the right are wishing for their return. That’s a huge mistake. Just like Washington Post reporter David Maraniss’ book Barack Obama: The Story cites several falsehoods from Obama’s books, Bill and Hillary re-wrote history in their books, My Life and Living History (which is now tough to find). That’s one of the reasons why I wrote The Whistleblower —to set the record straight because Americans deserve to know what happens in their White House.”
As she documents in her book, the Clinton-Lewinsky impeachment scandal was not the first time the Clintons had attempted to escape justice. “Hollywood-Alinskyite marketing tricks, intimidation and abuses of power trumped justice in the Clinton White House,” she notes. “Contrary to what the Clintons publicly contend or wrote in memoirs, in the unedited, unvarnished picture, they withheld documents, stonewalled subpoenas, and influenced testimony in the Travelgate, Whitewater, Vince Foster investigations, and in the 9/11 Commission investigation.”
Yet, they managed to escape justice along the way. Peschmann tells AIM, “If you or I were ‘factually’ inaccurate with investigators—otherwise known as perjury for everyone else or withheld evidence—we would be at a minimum charged with contempt, obstruction of justice, and quite possibly thrown in jail.” But a “special justice system” emerged which “applies to the Clintons and now again to President Obama’s administration, as we are seeing in the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal,” she adds. The Fast and Furious scandal involved the U.S. sending weapons to Mexico that were used by drug cartels to murder a federal border agent, Brian Terry.
She went on, “It’s chilling how the media refuse to hold them accountable, refuse to speak truth to power, and then wonder why America is in trouble. America is in trouble in large part because of corrupt leaders who thwart the rule of law at the expense of all Americans and are never held to account.”

Hillary Leaving as Obama’s Eligibility Trial(s) Move Forward… Coincidence?

The story (immediately below) was posted Wednesday (the day after the SOTU… when Obama referenced Clinton in the audience). Today (Thursday) I see that Hillary “is” leaving:

"I'm going to do the best I can at this job for the next two years," she said.

Kind of interesting timing with Obama's eligibility hearing don'tcha think? Raising the question is Hitlery going to be exiting sooner than she says to run in Obama’s place in many minds? When you think about people saying, “Newt Gingrich has too much baggage to win (which essentially he does), doesn’t someone have to say somewhere along the line… what about, them, the Clintons with so many unanswered question and stories… about Bill, Hillary, their past, their associations: Alinsky, Cloward and Piven, George Soros? Wow… who does that sound like? And remember Hillary’s famous quote, “I prefer to think of myself as a Progressive!”
Add to this Hillary friend and mentor George Soros making comments like: “There is not much difference between Obama and Romney.”, making it more and more obvious that Romney is the person they fear running against, whether it is Obama or his old protรฉgรฉ Hillary.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says she wants to step off the political stage…
WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says she wants to step off the “high wire of American politics” after two decades and is again tamping down speculation that she might stay in government if President Barack Obama wins a second term.
Clinton told State Department employees on Thursday that she is ready for a rest and is paying no attention to the Republican presidential candidate debates. She said she wants to find out just how tired she is after working flat out as first lady, senator, aspiring presidential candidate and finally the top U.S. diplomat.
“I have made it clear that I will certainly stay on until the president nominates someone and that transition can occur” if Obama wins re-election, she told a town hall meeting. “But I think after 20 years, and it will be 20 years, of being on the high wire of American politics and all of the challenges that come with that, it would be probably a good idea to just find out how tired I am.”
But, she appeared to leave the door open for a possible eventual return, adding to laughter from the crowd that “everyone always says that when they leave these jobs.”
As secretary of state, Clinton is barred from partisan politics (YGTBKM!!) and she acknowledged that it is unusual not to be participating in this election season. But, she said 
she is enjoying being away from the fray and hasn’t watched any of the GOP debates.
“It is a little odd for me to be totally out of an election season,” she said. “But, you know, I didn’t watch any of those debates.”
Clinton said she expected the campaign for November’s election to “suck up a lot of the attention” normally devoted to foreign policy issues but she joked that that might actually help the State Department.
“The good news is maybe we can even get more done if they are not paying attention, so just factor that in.” (read more)

What happened at Obama-no-show trial
Sworn testimony reveals fake Social Security number, other gaps
Georgia citizens today delivered sworn testimony to a court that Barack Obama is slam-dunk disqualified from having his name on the 2012 presidential ballot in the state, because his father never was a U.S. citizen, which prevents him from qualifying as a “natural-born citizen” as the U.S. Constitution requires for a president.
The historic hearing was the first time that a court has accepted arguments on the merits of the controversy over Obama’s status. His critics say he never met the constitutional requirements to occupy the Oval Office, and the states and Congress failed in their obligations to make sure only a qualified president is inaugurated. His supporters, meanwhile, argue he won the 2008 election and therefore was “vetted” by America.
The hearing was before Judge Michael Malihi of the Georgia state Office of State Administrative Hearings. In Georgia, a state law requires “every candidate for federal” office who is certified by the state executive committees of a political party or who files a notice of candidacy “shall meet the constitutional and statutory qualifications for holding the office being sought.”
State law also grants the secretary of state and any “elector who is eligible to vote for a candidate” in the state the authority to raise a challenge to a candidate’s qualifications, the judge determined.
Citizens bringing the complaints include David Farrar, Leah Lax, Thomas Malaren and Laurie Roth, represented by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has handled numerous cases concerning Obama’s eligibility; David Weldon represented by attorney Van R. Irion of Liberty Legal Foundation; and Carl Swensson and Kevin Richard Powell, represented by J. Mark Hatfield. Cody Judy is raising a challenge because he also wants to be on the ballot.
Several of the attorneys introduced passages from Obama’s own writings that Barack Obama Sr. was his father. They then introduced evidence that the man never was a U.S. citizen, that he was a citizen of Kenya at the time of junior’s birth and was therefore a subject of the United Kingdom.
His father’s citizenship, they said, precludes him from serving as president, since the Founders required that officer to be a “natural-born citizen,” not just a “citizen.”
The term is not defined in the Constitution, but evidence introduced included a passage from a 1875 Supreme Court opinion that states:”The Constitution does not in words say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.”
Weldon explained in his presentation that the 14th Amendment granting citizenship did not redefine Article 2, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, which includes the requirement for a president to be a “natural-born citizen.”
The attorney argued also that another later court case referenced citizenship in the dicta, not the central holding in the case, and thus was not controlling.
Many of Irion’s arguments were echoed by Hatfield, a strategy that at least one constitutional expert, Herb Titus, said was sound.
Titus taught constitutional law, common law, and other subjects for nearly 30 years at five different American Bar Association-approved law schools. From 1986 to 1993, he served as the founding dean of the College of Law and Government in Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va. Prior to his academic career, he served as a trial attorney and a special assistant United States attorney with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., and Kansas City, Mo.
He told WND the fact that Obama’s father was a Kenyan citizen should be sufficient.
“That is much stronger than the question of where he was born,” he said. “That alone is evidence. … They don’t need anything additional.”
Taitz argued multiple prongs of the case: that the birth certificate released by the White House is a forgery; that he probably has had several citizenships, such as when he was listed in Indonesia as an Indonesian citizen; and that he’s been known under the names Obama, Soetoro and Soebarkah.
She also had a private investigator, Susan Daniels, testify that it appears Obama is using a fraudulent Social Security number.
Documents and imaging expert Doug Vogt asserted the birth documentation released by the White House was a creation of a software program and not a scan of any original document. That would mean Obama’s documentation, despite what the White House released in April, is still under wraps.
Obama and his attorney boycotted the proceedings, issuing a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp that the judge was letting attorneys “run amok.” The statement came after Malihi refused to quash a subpoena for Obama’s testimony and his records, which effectively was ignored by the White House.
The judge is expected to review the evidence and make a recommendation to the state whether there is reason to be concerned about Obama’s name on the 2012 ballot.
He apparently will have no defense evidence, but Kemp had warned Obama about that.
Kemp said late last night in a response to a demand from Obama’s attorney that he simply order the hearing stopped.
“Anything you and your client place in the record in response to the challenge will be beneficial to my review of the initial decision; however, if you and your client choose to suspend your participation in the OSAH proceedings, please understand that you do so at your own peril.”
WND reported earlier on the stunning decision from Malihi, who refused to quash the subpoena even after Obama outlined his defense strategy for such state-level challenges, which have erupted in half a dozen or more states already.
“Presidential electors and Congress, not the state of Georgia, hold the constitutional responsibility for determining the qualifications of presidential candidates,” Obama’s lawyer argued. “The election of President Obama by the presidential electors, confirmed by Congress, makes the documents and testimony sought by plaintiff irrelevant.”
But the judge thought otherwise.
“Defendant argues that ‘if enforced, [the subpoena] requires him to interrupt duties as president of the United States’ to attend a hearing in Atlanta, Georgia. However, defendant fails to provide any legal authority to support his motion to quash the subpoena to attend,” he wrote in his order.
“Defendant’s motion suggests that no president should be compelled to attend a court hearing. This may be correct. But defendant has failed to enlighten the court with any legal authority,” the judge continued.
“Specifically, defendant has failed to cite to any legal authority evidencing why his attendance is ‘unreasonable or oppressive, or that the testimony … [is] irrelevant, immaterial, or cumulative and unnecessary to a party’s preparation or presentation at the hearing, or that basic fairness dictates that the subpoena should not be enforced,’” the judge said.
Jablonski also had argued that the state should mind its own business.
“The sovereignty of the state of Georgia does not extend beyond the limits of the State. … Since the sovereignty of the state does not extend beyond its territorial limits, an administrative subpoena has no effect,” the filing argued.

Titus said, “‘Natural born citizen’ in relation to the office of president, and whether someone is eligible, was in the Constitution from the very beginning. Another way of putting it; there is a law of the nature of citizenship. If you are a natural born citizen, you are a citizen according to the law of nature, not according to any positive statement in a Constitution or in a statute, but because of the very nature of your birth and the very nature of nations.”
If you “go back and look at what the law of nature would be or would require … that’s precisely what a natural born citizen is …. is one who is born to a father and mother each of whom is a citizen of the U.S. or whatever other country,” he said.
“Now what we’ve learned from the Hawaii birth certificate is that Mr. Obama’s father was not a citizen of the United States. His mother was, but he doesn’t qualify as a natural born citizen for the office of president.”
The final official ruling is expected on February 5, 2012.
