The main tool for a revolution to succeed is that it must have a higher purpose… larger than the man, the leader himself!!! Love and Justice are main ingredients and non-violence is a key to success… peaceful revolution~
Everyone has an Egypt…
Where there is a higher purpose the leaders’ personality is trumped by the success and needs of the cause, whereas leftist movements are personality driven. The four great men discussed were not looking for personal greatness. They were called. They also knew that they would be killed and were willing but afraid. Whereas leaders like Hitler, Mussolini, etc… look and want the Glory and expect adoration.

Looking at Revolutions Today…
Moses: You don’t have to have the physical to have the Egypt battle. We are having a battle with tyranny and ego.
Jesus: We are having a battle of faith… and against too much separating us from God.
Gandhi: We are having a battle over compartmentalization… separation over oneness or humanity.
King: We are detached from true love and the love of God which has been replaced by “things” secularism, big government, and things.
Moses showed courage, Jesus showed theory, Gandhi showed the implementation and MLK learned from all of them and used it in his fight.

We must be on our knees daily and fight hate!!
The truth shall set you free but will make you miserable first!
How do you put peace into practice? How do you fight the anger and conquer the hate…. to prevent violence?

Greatness often comes from opportunity and necessity! Each of us can rise to the challenges that are put before us. Dr. Alveda King said that God prepares us to lead as the need arises, but it is up to each of us to step up and accept!!!
We can see this in our presidents who we consider great… they raised themselves to that level needed to meet the crisis of the times.
Humility is a great test of true greatness and for leaders who accept (their nod for) destiny instead of those who seek power for personal gain and adulation. Getting down on your knees to pray, at least once a day helps to keep us humble!
