“Don’t let life just wash over you wave after wave after wave… we are supposed to create who we are…!”, Glenn Beck told the graduates at Liberty College a few weeks back.
As Glenn explains in the video below… where we are today, all started in the summer of 1969., but based on the ideas of early Progressives from about 1920. Two events that happened about 3-weeks apart demonstrate the two camps that make up America: the first moon landing and walk and then… the summer of love event at Woodstock. Those now controlling the White House believe the second, rolling around in the mud having free sex and taking drugs, was the most important event that summer. Those of us who believe in the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights; the beliefs of the Founding Fathers; and the Bible… believe the first, the moon landing and walk on the moon by man along with the belief in a country that could make that happen, was the most important event of Summer 1969.

Yes, I did go to school . . .
Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, everyone else in the class laughed.
My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef.
Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed too. Then he told me not to do it again.
The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was. I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, just like she'd asked the other children. So I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken. She sent me back to the principal's office again. He laughed, and told me not to do it again.
I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am. Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we admire most.
I told her, "Colonel Sanders".
Guess where I am now…
Paul~
I thought this story was great because it is such an example of life.
We tell our kids and ourselves to be truthful and live lives of honor and integrity… but then we tell little (or big) white lies in front of them. And teachers, principals and media tell them to lie to be politically correct, not to hurt someone’s feelings, or avoid the tough stuff. If we want our Country to get better and our kids to become leaders (the next George Washington as Glenn Beck says) we need to teach them faith, hope, charity and to speak the truth. You can’t just tell the truth when it is easy, convenient or when it is what someone else wants you to do or hear.

If you can possibly get to Washington D.C. for August 28th and join other patriots at the foot of the Abraham Lincoln… get there and bring your kids and grandkids!
David Horowitz… former liberal from Woodstock times and son of communists, who came out of his haze and became a conservative years ago has been warning Americans of these ‘children of the 60’s and their children’ raised on the formula of Marxism and focused on the destruction of individual freedoms, capitalism and the American dream created by the Founding Fathers, for years now. We didn’t listen. Now they control Washington and the financial world.
A house divided cannot stand… and this is the 3rd time that the Progressive left has made a concerted push to re-write history and change America… after quietly building an underground infrastructure. The third time is probably the final battle… winner take all. So you must ask yourself… do you want your children and grandchildren believing in and growing up in the America that values individual freedoms; believes that we can accomplish anything including feats like going to the moon; and is based on the values of our Constitution, the Bible and amazing history that has almost been erased… Or do you want them to live in an America that believes in redistributed of wealth and group rights (the village or commune concept), believes that awards for just showing up are more fair even if debilitating; and a way of life based on the writings and concepts of Marx and Progressives like Saul Alinsky and Cloward & Piven… that have ever worked… at least for long. But they have destroyed countries and whole generations of people in every try.
For anyone who is a Christian or Jew… they know that God has an individual relationship with each of us and will expect each of us to be accountable… We will not be judged on the group or the groups decision. So each of our decisions now has to be to stand up for freedom and God or stand against it. As Liberty and Tyranny author Mark Levin says… You can’t be for both, so if you are not for liberty you are the enemy! And if you are sitting on the fence trying to be neutral you might be the most dangerous of all.
We are already in the middle of perhaps the greatest Power Grab in the history of America. Please decide to stand up and fight or be swept away in insignificance without making a choice or putting up a fight. And as often said, “There is nothing worse than being insignificant!”
Sometimes when you feel that nobody hears you or is noticing what is going on you get a great a surprise. I looked at a neighboring city’s news earlier and saw an old high school chum and his wife leading a protest in favor of the Arizona law… Keep fighting and sharing my friends~
(Update: Obama refused to meet with Gov Jan Brewer of Arizona who was travelling to see him and Janet Napolitano, saying he was too busy… probably too tired after vacationing and then hosting Paul McCartney at the White House. But after pressure and negative feedback from returning to DC for McCartney but not making it to Arlington and then being reminded that his calendar has an opening after Netanyahu canceled he seems to have acquiesced in favor of a meeting.)
