U.S. Embassy Releases Video Taking Tough Immigration Stance… On Jews!

Illegal immigration is a hot topic in this country. And even though there are many in the Obama administration who refuse to recognize the need for a tough stance on it, there are those who see a need to address it. Officials at one U.S. embassy abroad seem to be catching on and joining the latter crowd.

NRO’s Mark Krikorian explains:

One of our embassies has released a well-produced video warning the locals not to try to work illegally in the United States. It includes testimonials from people who got burned by unscrupulous employers and by their own greed and stupidity. It also features an agent from the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security warning, in a friendly but unequivocal way, of the dire consequences facing those who try to game immigration and visa laws, including a lifetime bar from visiting the U.S.

That’s right, the administration is finally cracking down and warning violators of the consequences (while also trying to protect them). Where’s this embassy, you wonder. Get ready for it: Israel.

Yes, the U.S. embassy in Israel released a video just three weeks ago warning Jewish residents to mind their immigration manners before they try anything shady regarding work and business visas:

Krikorian asks some important questions in his response to the video:

Now, don’t get me wrong — the consular staff who made this video deserve an award for their imagination and zeal in defending our country’s interests. All those violating our immigration laws must be punished. But why isn’t this kind of campaign being mounted systematically at all consulates where the locals may consider coming here illegally?(Though it also would be nice to actually, you know, enforce the law, so our warnings aren’t dismissed.) Do you think the nonimmigrant visa section in Juarez would be allowed to produce something this threatening to warn against abuse of Border Crossing Card visas? Of course not — but since Israelis are white and have Zionist cooties, the Obama administration’s appointees apparently decided to permit our consular professionals to actually do their jobs in this instance.

As long as Krikorian brought it up, let’s look at how the U.S. embassy in Mexico is dealing with illegal immigration.

How about a press release from Monday detailing the United States’ annual (and voluntary) deportation program aimed at protecting illegal immigrants from the heat:

MEXICO CITY, July 11, 2011— As part of their ongoing commitment to safeguarding the health, dignity, and well-being of undocumented migrants during the repatriation process, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Government of Mexico today reinitiated the seasonal Mexican Interior Repatriation Program (MIRP).  The first flight departed Tucson, AZ this morning en route to Mexico City, with undocumented returnees on board. Once in Mexico City, the passengers are met by representatives of Mexico’s National Institute of Migration (INM), who will assist them in returning to their homes in the interior of Mexico.  Participation in interior repatriation is voluntary, and is intended to protect Mexican nationals from high temperatures and dangerous conditions near the border during the height of the summer season.

The program is costly, says U.S. embassy representative John Feeley, but that shouldn’t matter: “[W]e are committed to providing these undocumented migrants with a safe and humane return to Mexico, even at significant cost to the U.S. taxpayer.  The simple fact is, this humanitarian program saves Mexican lives.”

Looking for tough immigration talk? You likely won’t find it on the front page of the website for the American embassy in Mexico. It’s riddled with posts about kids taking English classes, a border-crossing partnership, and even a congratulations-to-Mexico story.

A video on its YouTube channel even shows young Mexicans dressing up as founding fathers:

Isn’t that nice.

So one could probably expect a lot of cooperative language to permeate the front page of the American embassy page located in Tel Aviv, right? Yes. And there is such language. But there’s also this curious post located just four stories down under “embassy news:”

Click on that and it leads you to a link to a story detailing the “2010 Human Rights Report: Israel and the occupied territories.” What does that report find?

Principal human rights problems were institutional, legal, and societal discrimination against Arab citizens, Palestinian residents of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip (see annex), non-Orthodox Jews, and other religious groups; societal discrimination against persons with disabilities; and societal discrimination and domestic violence against women, particularly in Bedouin society. While trafficking in persons for the purpose of prostitution decreased in recent years, trafficking for the purpose of labor remained a serious problem, as did abuse of foreign workers and societal discrimination and incitement against asylum seekers.

Ouch.

For years, the Obama administration has refused to recognize illegal immigration from Mexico as a problem (even despite evidence that jihadists are using America’s porous southern border). Now it’s talking tough on Jewish immigrants. Makes you wonder who the administration thinks is the real problem.

What is wrong with us America??

America… If we do not wake immediately, get rid of those presently in power, take back our country, fall on our knees and ask God for forgiveness and stand up for what is right against the evil that is spreading not only throughout the U.S. but Western Civilization there are only two options:

1.  We will be remembered as the stupidest people and generation that ever lived and our kids and grandkids will suffer for our ignorance, self-indulgence and overall stupidity… and only remember us with disdain.

Or

2.  We will have proved to God that it is time of end this and we will live through the end times as a people out of God’s grace and be held accountable for not only what we did… but what we didn’t do.

Where are the people and the churches speaking our for Israel, our friends, democracy, Christianity, the Jews, freedom, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, freedom, our Republic, Western Civilization??  Where are you??

'A Slippery Character': New Details Emerge About Obama's Father

With a father like this, it is little wonder President Obama did not want to release his full birth certificate.  Barack Hussein Obama, Sr, the root of The Roots of Obama's Rage.

Though the proof that he was actually born in Hawaii may silence some critics, a new, rather more interesting side of his life has emerged - that his father Barack Obama senior was a serial womanizer and polygamist who government and university officials were trying to force out of the country.

Obama senior married Stanley Ann Dunham, a white student from Kansas, not only when he was said to have already been married to a woman in Kenya, but at a time when interracial marriages were still illegal in many parts of the U.S.

Documents obtained from the U.S. immigration service paint a picture of a man who 'had an eye for the ladies' and, according to his file, had to be warned several times to stay away from girls at the university.

Heather Smathers, a investigative journalist with the Arizona Independent, obtained the files through a Freedom of Information request.

A memo from a University of Hawaii foreign student advisor said that Obama senior had 'been running around with several girls since he first arrived here and last summer she cautioned him about his playboy ways. Subject replied that he would "try" to stay away from the girls.'

It also considered his earlier Kenya marriage as a grounds to deny him a visa extension but concluded that 'polygamy was not an excludable or deportation charge'.

He is further described as 'a slippery character', and his relationships with 'several women' are discussed and investigated, while questions about his 'marital problems' are repeatedly raised.

Another immigration memo, from June 1964, records that Harvard officials were trying 'to get rid of him' and 'couldn't seem to figure out how many wives he had'.

The documents also specify that he had a child - Barack Obama junior - while he was at the university on August 4, 1961.

The memo also notes that he be 'closely questioned before another extension is granted - and denial be considered'.

Other notes make reference to some kind of campaign to drive Obama senior out of the country and back to Kenya. The memo advised officials to withdraw his funding.

It said: 'Obama has passed his general exams, which indicates that on academic grounds he is entitled to stay around here and write his thesis; however [Harvard] are going to try to cook something up to ease him out.... They are planning on telling him that they will not give him any money, and that he had better return to Kenya and prepare his thesis at home.'

President Obama's mother met his father at a Russian language class at the University of Hawaii in 1960. At the time he was the first and only African student at the university.

When they married, she did not realize that he had a wife and child in Kenya. The couple divorced in 1963 and Ann Dunham struggled as a single mother to bring up her child, just as her estranged husband was at studying at Harvard and reportedly carousing after women.

Meanwhile a collection of pictures collected in Punahou show President Obama with family and friends, depicting a regular childhood in the 60s and 70s as he was looked after by his grandparents, oblivious to his real father's womanizing ways.

The President was raised with help from his grandfather, a soldier, and grandmother who worked in a bank.

The last time President Obama saw his father was in 1971 when he was ten years old. Obama Sr. was killed 11 years later in a car accident in 1982.

Of his early childhood, President Obama has said 'That my father looked nothing like the people around me - that he was black as pitch, my mother white as milk - barely registered in my mind.'

Longtime residents in the Punahou Circle Apartment block have put up the display to honor their former neighbor, who they remember as a 'sweet' child.

They said it was set up to honor the resident turned president and pay homage to his grandparents Madelyn and Stanley.

The pictures show Mr. Obama as a little boy with his family, later as a student receiving an honor and ultimately his official presidential picture and one with his wife Michelle and their two children.

The pictures emerged after Mr Obama was forced to publish his full birth certificate in a bid to quash rumours about his nationality.

The U.S. President said he made the document available because America 'does not have time for this kind of silliness' and has to move on.

His intervention came after the 'birther' debate about his origins and religion had moved from the political fringes to take centre stage.

His birth certificate shows he was born at the Kapiolani Maternity and Gynaecological Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Mr Obama has been dogged by persistent questions about his citizenship since the election more than two years ago. More than 60 per cent of Americans have told pollsters they are not convinced he was born in the U.S.

Many senior Republicans have tried to distance themselves from the birther movement and some suspect it has been encouraged by the White House in order to discredit the opposition party.

One tenant of Ponahue said of the President: 'He was a great kid and obviously his grandparents did an amazing job of raising him. All we have are fond memories, his grandparents were wonderful people and Barry was a sweet and respectful child.

'Our little lobby tribute has become a must-see tourist destination. It shows a family-oriented Barack surround by love. Who knew that little Barry would become president of the United States?'

It is looking more and more evident that the question of Obama’s eligibility may come down to his father’s citizenship, his adoption by a non-citizen. Lolo Soetoro and/or his dual citizenship: Barack Obama Running from Barry Soetoro… but there there are always those pesky newspaper and magazine ads from Kenya announcing Kenyan born Barack Hussein Obama Jr. was elected to the U.S. Senate, his Kenyan grandma’s statement that she was at his birth in Kenya and that Kenyan birth certificate that keeps surfacing… but don’t pay any attention to any of that???  There is nothing to see???  Or maybe there is?

Will Ignorance Lead to a Second Obama Term?

There is a wonderful quote that has been making its way around the internet over the past year. It apparently was translated from an article published in the Czech Republic newspaper Prager Zeitung last April and reads as follows:

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency...Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

The first time I saw this, the Tea Party enthusiasm was in full force and Republicans were on their way to taking back the House and gaining ground in the Senate. Optimism prevailed and the light at the end of the tunnel began to appear. But as Barack Obama announces his reelection bid and the GOP has yet to produce a strong, viable candidate for President, it would be prudent to question the present mindset of the electorate who got the country and the world into the current mess and whether it is possible that "the confederacy of fools" will elect him to a second term.

When Obama won in 2008, I wrote an article for AT in which I analyzed the various reasons that people had for voting for a person who was clearly incompetent, unprepared, unpatriotic, and basically void of any substance other than his own ego and disdain for American exceptionalism. The five categories of Obama voters included (i) individuals suffering from Bush Derangement Syndrome, (ii) followers with a mob mentality of assuming that if everyone liked the guy, he must be wonderful, (iii) socialists, (iv) people with racial guilt looking for a post-racial America, and (v) those suffering from simple ignorance due to a lack of intellectual curiosity to understand the man who would be king.

Now, with over half of Obama's term complete, the only relevant categories of Obama supporters are those falling under items (iii) and (v) -- Americans who reside on the far left of the political spectrum and those who remain completely ignorant about world affairs, economics, and the person who is the current leader of the free world. The far left will continue to support and vote for Obama no matter how many flip flops he makes on closing Gitmo, military trials for terrorists, intervention in Mideast revolutions, and other policies that raise their ire.

However, in the face of a dishonest and complicit mainstream media, it is up to all thinking Americans to make efforts to educate themselves, their neighbors, friends, colleagues, and family as to the dangers of four more years of Obama as President. For while the world can withstand four years of incompetence in the White House, eight years will likely result in a world forever changed, with America reduced to mediocrity and powerlessness, Islamic fundamentalism on an unimpeded rise to triumph over the West, and liberty and freedom replaced in many more parts of the world by tyranny and human rights abuses.

While many Americans who voted for Obama in 2008 have woken up to the fact that it was a colossal mistake, there remain too many Americans who simply do not understand just how incompetent and ideologically driven his administration is. There are too many people who would rather watch Joy Behar's ineffectual interview with Helen Thomas, who continue to watch MSNBC's idiotic news programs hosted by the likes of Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow, or who consider Jon Stewart and Bill Maher reliable sources of news. There are also those who read The New York Times without any critical analysis of its editorial board's disconnect from reality and publisher's extreme bias resulting in disingenuous reporting.

And then there is the matter of Israel and the Jewish vote. While having little impact in terms of numerical votes, American Jews' continued monetary support of Obama makes explaining the irrationality of that voting bloc extremely difficult. While Israel was not a voting issue for the majority of American Jews in 2008, it may very well become one in 2012 -- and not necessarily because American Jews have suddenly woken up to the fact that the existential threat to Israel is increasing daily under Obama. I believe that Jews overwhelmingly supported Obama in 2008 due to their willful ignorance and lack of interest in his predictable contempt for Israel. Since that time however, Soros-led initiatives such as J Street have led to many American Jews, who have not taken the time to investigate these organizations' missions, to grow contemptuous of Israel and supportive of the least Israel-friendly President since the creation of the Jewish nation.

American Jews are not only living on the left side of lala land, they are blinded by their progressive passions. How else can one explain supporting a President who has spent the better part of the past two and a half years weakening the only Mideast democracy and US ally, the world's only Jewish nation, and a beacon of hope and freedom that welcomes people of all faiths, especially Jews. How else to explain a rabbi who stands before a congregation of thousands and calls Israel "an occupying entity," 900 rabbis who say amen as Obama explains that "We are God's partners in matters of life and death" and orders them to sell his socialist policies to the nation, and hundreds of rabbis who ran a Wall Street Journal ad criticizing Glenn Beck and FoxNews notwithstanding that both clearly stand with Israel.

Just as Richard Goldstone allowed the UN Human Rights Commission to use his name and status as a Jew to demonize Israel in the Goldstone Report, the American Jewish community has allowed Obama to turn them into a bunch of useful idiots. And this combination of stupidity and ideology does not bode well for the future of the Jewish homeland.

So as Obama enters into campaign mode (not that he has ever left campaign mode) and pivots right by agreeing to try KSM in a military court, appearing to care about human rights abuses by striking Libya, and pretending to work with Republicans on a balanced budget, the American people need to wake up. They need to focus on the extremists making decisions and policies in Obama's administration, beginning with Samantha Power and ending with Eric Holder; they need to remember the bipartisanship and dirty tricks used to pass ObamaCare; and they need to recall his abandonment of the freedom fighters in Honduras and Iran, while supporting the "moderate" Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and al Qaeda rebels in Libya.

And while they are at it, the U.S. electorate might want to take one more look at Obama swaggering up to the podium for his campaign and post-election speeches and question the intelligence of a man who cannot speak without a telepromptor, who refuses to disclose his college transcripts (let alone his birth certificate), who chose Cairo for his most famous reach-out to a people who hate America, and who appears to care more about enjoying the life of Riley than he does about the free world. If Obama represents the level of intelligence of the American people, then I fear our Republic will not survive the "multitude of fools" who may very well hand the prince a second term.
