Emmy Award Winner Debuts New Song Telling Obama to ‘Get Out’

Emmy Award Winner Debuts New Song Telling Obama to ‘Get Out’

Morgan Chalfant - Red Alert Politics originally posted July 11, 2012 – cross-posted at Info-Wars

Ryan Bomberger of SoOutLoud.com is out with Get Out, a catchy pop tune that skewers Barack Obama for his “slick marketing” and for being “fast and furious with all the lies,” referring to the “Fast and Furious” scandal.

Bomberger suggests that people were tricked by Obama’s “slick marketing.” He sings, “the slick marketing, a logo that promised everything, but hope and change meant you hoped to change my constitutional liberty.”

He sings repeatedly amid copious images of the Obama-campaign symbol: “You gotta get out, you need to get out. BHO’s gotta go don’t you know. Yes we can kick him out.”

The chorus is featured three times in less than two minutes and finds every way possible to tell Obama to “get out.” Bomberger urges his listeners, “Don’t you know, yes we can, vote him out.”

The song also mocks Obama for backing the redefinition of marriage and for making “sure that religious liberty doesn’t mean a thing.”

He blames Obama for “spend[ing] billions to make a worse economy” and forcing Americans to choose “prison or your Obamacare policy.”

Also, Bomberger admits in the song that he is biracial like Obama and then adds, “racial profiling is okay if it’s a vote for you.”

The catchy tune should strike a chord with young voters my engaging them on their level.

‘True Racism’: Allen West Calls Out Liberals Who Think Black Conservatives Need ‘Approval’ From Their ‘Masters’

The Blaze:

Allen West: True Racism Lies With Liberals Who Think Black Conservatives Need Approval From Their Masters | Fox News Interviews With Huckabee, Briggs

Congressman Allen West (R-FL) made a number of notable media appearances over the weekend, and is receiving both praise and condemnation for his comments, depending on your source.

On Fox News with Mike Huckabee, West responded to a recent L.A. Times article that said America’s “dirtiest job” is “justifying Allen West.”

West calmly responded, with analysis on who the real “racists” are in politics:

“I really feel that it is [demeaning] to me to think that I need some individual to ‘justify’ me and my existence.

“Look, I went through 22 years being in the military. [I rose] to the rank of Lt. Colonel. I have a bachelor‘s degree and 2 master’s degrees, and for these white liberals to believe they can have this condescending manner toward black conservatives, that we need to have approval from our quote unquote, I guess “masters,” for us to be able to speak — see that’s where the true racism really liesis with the white liberals who don’t want to see someone such as myself, that broke away from their dependency class, and is out here and able to possibly contend against them with the policies that they are promoting that is destroying the black community.

“I know I’m their #1 target, and it just emboldens me to speak out even stronger. And the heck with them if they think that someone else needs to approve [of] me and what I stand for.” [Emphasis added]

Watch the entire clip, via Fox News, below:

On another Fox News appearance, West reiterated that Obama has gone from “hope and change” to a more divisive and “envious” rhetoric where the administration is trying to separate Americans along gender lines, sexual orientation, and income level.

West also remarked that he does not regret his choice of words at a recent fundraiser, where he reportedly said that Obama doesn’t want people to have the self-esteem of getting up and earning the title of “American.”

“He’d rather have you be his slave and be economically dependent upon him,” West explained.

Obama 'Buzzsaw' Revealed; Herman Cain's New Radio Gig

Herman Cain 2

Herman Cain to Take Boortz Radio Mic

Newsmax

Conservative talk radio host Neal Boortz is retiring after four decades at the microphone and being replaced by former GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain.

Boortz said his last day hosting The Neal Boortz Show, which airs on more than 200 radio stations with six million weekly listeners, will be January 18, 2013.

The 67-year-old Boortz said he is in good health and plans to enjoy retirement by traveling with his wife. They plan to spend eight months on the road after his retirement.

Boortz’s show is syndicated across the country through Atlanta’s WSB radio. His show draws about 6 million listeners on 230 radio stations.

He said his show has been “an absolute joy.”

Cain, an Atlanta businessman and radio show host, dropped out of the presidential race in December amid allegations of sexual improprieties, which he denied.

“It’s time for me and my wife, Donna, to hit the road and travel in ways that we have not been able to through most of our 42 years together,” said Boortz – also known as “The Talkmaster” and “The High Priest of the Church of the Painful Truth.”

“As my listeners know, we love traveling, and the restraints created by my daily radio show commitment have kept us on a rather short leash. At present, our post-show travel plans extend through most of 2013 and well into 2014 ranging from Florida to Alaska and Antarctica. We will then figure out where to go from there.

Boortz continues, “Believe me, this wasn’t a decision I made lightly. I love this business and everything it has afforded me. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to be doing my talk show for 42 years. I'll certainly miss the listeners and callers; but most of all I'll miss my radio family, executive producer Belinda Skelton and researcher Cristina Gonzalez. If, in your own travels, you pass us in the BoortzBus on some highway, be sure to wave.”

“There is no doubt in my mind that Neal Boortz is the best radio talk show host in America – and arguably the best to ever be on radio,” said Dan Kearney, Vice President and Market Manager of News/Talk WSB. “It’s been a privilege for WSB to be the place he’s called home for so much of his career. “

“While Neal is ending his daily radio show next year, he is not leaving the station entirely,” said News/Talk WSB Program Director Pete Spriggs. “Listeners will continue to hear from Neal via the ‘Boortz Blast,’ a daily rant on a hot topic as only Neal can deliver it.”

Boortz further commented, “Did you know you can record those on an iPad? When I give you my 90 seconds or so of wisdom every morning you won't know if it's coming from Monument Valley, Alaska or the Danube River. I'll also be keeping my blog at Boortz.com and will add a special page filled with pictures and stories of our travels.”

Critical time for ideological debate

By Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) - 04/24/12 06:03 PM ET  The Hill – h/t to MJ

Much has been made of my recent response to a question from a constituent and my assertion regarding so-called “communists” in the Congressional Progressive Caucus. I am pleased it has inspired so much passionate debate, for that was precisely the point.

When I was studying for my two master’s degrees in political science at Kansas State University and at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer College, the very best professors were those who would begin each lecture with a challenging assertion. It engaged discussion and analysis, and was the best way to uncover the essence of the particular subject of the day.

As Americans, we must bring to the fore this fundamental discussion of what we want our country to be. Do we veer from our Founders’ vision of a constitutional republic that preserves and protects the individual sovereignty of its citizens, along with the free market and the rights of the several states, or do we continue to slide down this path of expanding the secular welfare state, nationalizing production and enforcing economic equality?

My colleagues in the Congressional Progressive Caucus have taken umbrage with my equation of their ideals with those of communists. Why? Why shouldn’t we have this discussion? What part of their agenda are they trying to hide?

We must be able to openly discuss how our fundamental freedoms are being slowly chipped away by an over-reaching nanny state that has bit by bit slipped its tentacles into every aspect of our lives, from the types of light bulbs we can use to the size of our toilet tanks.

We must be able to challenge the mandates being handed down by un-elected officials, which threaten our constitutional right to practice religion however we see fit.

We must be able to question tax policies predicated on “fairness” that punish job creators and do virtually nothing to reduce our spiraling debt and deficit.

Specific “party” affiliation is not the point of the discussion — it is rather affiliation with a set of ideals. Conservatives adhere to the ideals of individual responsibility and freedom, limited government, a free market and a strong defense. Those on the liberal left adhere to a collective ideal, directed and controlled by a centralized government to guarantee and enforce social and economic justice.

You can call this what you wish. The esteemed scholar and author Mark Levin calls it “statism.” In our lifetime, the unpalatable and pejorative brands “socialist” and “communist” have been replaced with the more user-friendly “progressive” term.

But this is not a discussion about labels. It is a discussion far more important and grave, for it affects our nation’s future, our security and each and every one of us. The dialogue must be about the future and direction of these United States. It is about the choice between two futures: a constitutional republic or a bureaucratic nanny-state.

As a nation, we must directly confront those issues that are most critical. We must be able to openly and candidly discuss how we will move forward to preserve our nation’s greatness, reduce our debt and deficit, put Americans back to work, take full advantage of our domestic energy resources and ensure our security.

I do not believe we can achieve those goals with larger and larger government, centralized economic planning and redistribution of wealth. Those methods have failed miserably everywhere they are been tried. I will not stand by and watch this nation I love be remade slowly into a government-directed, bureaucratic collective — whether it is termed communist, socialist, progressive or any-other-ist.

I am not a politician by trade. I learned to communicate on the battlefield, where “nuance” is not at all useful and can in fact be dangerous, if not fatal.

These are dangerous and critical times for our country. We must be unafraid to discuss and confront the challenges we face and ensure we keep our focus on the fundamental issues rather than become distracted by semantics. I gladly welcome this debate in the arena of political ideologies of governance.

CAIN DENIES REPORT OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT

LYNCHINGS of ‘Conservative’ BLACKS by the LAMESTREAM MEDIA BIGOTS continues: Herman Cain, Allen West, Thomas Sowell, Larry Elder, Clarence Thomas...  Why this is happening (again):

Three recent polls conducted by Fox News, CNN and CBS News have Herman leading the race to the White House

An exclusive POLITICO report published Sunday night alleges that at least two female employees complained to colleagues and senior association officials about multiple instances of inappropriate behavior exhibited by Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain during his tenure as the head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. Cain’s campaign has since denied allegations.

Sources told POLITICO that the women complained that Cain had exhibited sexually suggestive behavior towards them, and that they signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them financial payouts in the five-figure range to leave the association. The payouts were reportedly made on the agreement that the women would not speak about their departures.

A Cain spokesman told POLITICO that the candidate indicated to campaign officials that he was “vaguely familiar” with the charges and that the restaurant association’s general counsel had resolved the matter.

Video:  Geraldo Speaks With Cain Campaign Spokesman

POLITICO approached Cain in person on the sidewalk Sunday morning while the candidate was leaving the Washington bureau of CBS news following an interview on “Face the Nation.” POLITICO writes of the tense confrontation that progressed:

“He was then asked, ‘Have you ever been accused, sir, in your life of harassment by a woman?’

He breathed audibly, glared at the reporter and stayed silent for several seconds. After the question was repeated three times, he responded by asking the reporter, ‘Have you ever been accused of sexual harassment?’”

POLITICO claims to have known about the allegations against Cain for weeks, and has put together accounts of what happened by “talking to a lengthy roster of former board members, current and past staff and others familiar with the workings of the trade group at the time Cain was there.”

After questions from POLITICO regarding the allegations, Cain campaign vice president for communications emailed the publication on October 24, writing that any dispute about Cain’s conduct at the restaurant association “was settled amicably among all parties many years ago.”

Cain was president and CEO of the National Restaurant Association from late 1996 to mid-1999. Several board members of the National Restaurant Association mentioned in POLITICO’s story told the publication that they had never heard about any complaints regarding Cain making unwanted advances, and said that such behavior would be out of character based off of their experiences with the executive.

In a statement to The Associated Press Sunday night, Cain‘s campaign said that the POLITICO report isn’t true and represents unfair attacks.

Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon said the political press was “dredging up thinly sourced allegations” from Cain’s tenure leading the trade group in the 1990s. Gordon said the report includes  “unsubstantiated personal attacks” and said the press is “casting aspersions on his character and spreading rumors that never stood up to the facts.”

Remember what they did to Clarence Thomas? Here we go again.

The Left: They're Goin' After Our Kids

Lloyd MarcusPosted by Lloyd Marcus on April 4, 2011 at 9:41pm

Brother and Sister patriots. As I write this article, my heart is full, almost tearful. I just watched a moving music video by Diamond Rio, “In God We Still Trust”, which is being banned by radio stations around our great country. My heart is heavy because more and more God, patriotism and everything we hold dear are under vicious attacks by “The Left”.

Video:  Diamond Rio:  In God We Still Trust

Most insidiously, the Left is going after the hearts and minds of our children. Fox News reported several schools are discouraging the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance while teaching our kids America is the greatest source of evil in the world.

Video: American Pledge of Allegiance by Red Skelton

Allow me to define “The Left” to Americans like my brother David who is not a political junkie. David is busy working hard, raising his family and only catches sound bites from the liberal mainstream media.

In a nut shell, the Left is mostly spoiled brat former 1960s hippies. Their WWII generation parents sacrificed and gave them everything. Consequently, these ungrateful arrogant superior elitists think the world revolves around them. Everything is about making “them” feel good about themselves.

They claim ownership of compassion and tolerance. Thus, they pontificate about the evils of America; racist, sexist, homophobic and consumers of way too much of the world's resources. The Left believes the poor around the world has too little because we Americans have too much.

These Leftists; Michael Moore, Barbra Streisand, John Travolta and Al Gore to name a few, fly around in their private jets, live in palatial estates and command salaries which could fund a small country. These outspoken liberal elitist hypocrites consume more resources monthly than most of us will consume in our lifetime. And yet, they have the nerve to lecture us about using too much energy and the evils of American capitalism.

Don't get me wrong. I applaud financial success and desire it for all Americans. But, don't ride everywhere in a limo while lobbying the government to force me to drive a “tinker toy”.

The Left has an irrational resentment, if not hatred, of America. Insanely, numerous liberal Hollywood actresses support dictators and cultures in which, if they lived in those countries, they would not be allowed to be who they are in America. They would be reduced to being silent and subservient to men. And yet, these screwed up women defend dictators while accusing America of being evil sexist. Their “Blame America First” former hippie parents have trained them well.

Excuse my rant. But, that is who the Left is in a nutshell. Now, back to how they are going after our kids.

Despicably, the teachers' union in Wisconsin used clueless students to help rally against their parents who are the taxpayers represented by Gov. Scott Walker. “Hey Hey! Ho Ho! Scott Walker has got to go!”

Video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR5EhzIxHmI  The Internet Nazi’s already scrubbed the one…

The Left has also launched an all out assault on home schools. The Bibles says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it”.

The federal government and the teachers' unions say, “Screw that!...we know best how to raise your child. We'll only pay lip service to teaching silly things like reading, U.S. history, civics, science and math. We'll train them in the things which truly matter such as being good global citizens, saving the planet and embracing gay marriage”.

Obama and company are doing everything in their power to “bully” parents into surrendering their children over to them for government indoctrination.

In my travels to 200 tea parties across America in many states including Alaska, by far, home schooled kids are more poised, self confident and better educated than public school kids. Please don't take offense. This is my honest observation.

For crying out loud, two thirds of Wisconsin public school 8th graders can not read proficiently! Any kind of discipline in public schools is considered an infringement on a student's rights and subject to a law suit. Several inner city schools require students pass through a metal detector. Some schools have day care for kids who have kids. Schools will not give a child an Aspirin without parental consent. But an abortion, no problem. “This will be our little secret from your mom and dad. Now, go outside and play”.

Child ‘Zombies’ March Against Gov Walker’s Union Bill:  ‘Eat the Rich’ (See Photos)

A dear friend's son is a 23 year old America hating Marxist. Sadly, this young white male believes American white males are the SOBs of the world. His mom still remembers the day he can home from middle school devastated and in tears. He was taught to feel guilty for the cruel abuse his ancestors and America's founding fathers perpetrated upon native Americans and blacks.

Folks, the Left is going after our children.

Kristen Campbell is a tremendously brave high school student. I love this kid's backbone. Kristen wrote a piece published in her school newspaper disagreeing with Michelle Obama. Kristen was called a racist. Her car was vandalized. The wrath of loyal Queen Obama supplicants, black students, parents and local church groups, came down hard on this child. Kristen was verbally and physically attacked. Folks, I'm talkin' serious. Kristen was even threatened with a knife. Still, Kristen remains bold and outspoken in her defense of conservatism.

Eagles Fly Alone

Isn't college suppose to be about the free flow of ideas? Leftist faculty at Rollins College is out to get a student, Jamie Pizzi, for daring to write an opinion piece on “anchor babies”. These so-called ambassadors of tolerance are only for free speech when you are spouting liberalism. Conservative speech is swiftly met with severe punishment until it is silenced.

Illegal Immigration Column Causes Controversy at Florida’s Rollins College

They're goin' after our kids, folks!

Remember, the elementary school where kids were forced to sing the almost godlike praises to Obama? “Barack Hussein Obama, Mmm-Mmm-Mmm!”

Video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SErowaB4nUY

I watched a video with young black males dressed in military attire performing like a military drill team. They were saying "Because of Obama I'm inspired to be an architect, engineer and etc." On the surface, this message might appear "positive". I say, what a huge slap in the face to our great nation. Sadly, the democrat's years of teaching blacks they are victims of racist America have been extremely effective. So, blacks were not free to achieve until Obama? Totally absurd. The video shows further indoctrination of the black youths by having them espouse the virtues of Obamacare. ALL LIES!

They're goin' after our kids, folks!

We MUST stop them. Step one is ending King Obama's reign of terror with your vote November 2012.

OBAMACAMP! ORGANIZING FOR AMERICA WILL DEPLOY YOUNG CADRES ON ‘SUMMER ORGANIZING FELLOWSHIPS

As Winter turns to Spring, President Barack Obama’s campaign organization is setting its sights on the Summer to recruit and train an army of new community organizers, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Presumably, Organizing for America’s efforts to “strengthen our democracy” will likely also coincide with Obama’s re-election plans in 2012. However, the latest recruitment message from OFA goes beyond politics and campaigning to emphasize plans for a new military-style boot camp for grassroots organizers, a “program that aims to put boots on the ground and help foster a new generation of leaders — not just to help win elections but to strengthen our democracy in communities across the country.”

If you apply and are selected, you’ll be trained in the basic organizing principles that have helped to build and power this movement, and you‘ll be assigned to a specific community where you’ll get to work organizing supporters.

Movements are built and sustained by ordinary people taking responsibility for organizing their fellow citizens to make their voices heard. We‘re looking for individuals who are prepared to work to help support the President’s agenda — and lay the groundwork that will help us win a new set of elections.

OFA’s “Summer Organizing Fellowship” also offers college credit in exchange for participation in the two-month volunteer program.

“Effective organizing doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It takes commitment, time, and hard work to build a movement around a cause,” the message says, although it does not identify any particular “cause” other than promoting Obama and his agenda.

The emailed recruitment message went out Tuesday night to millions of Obama supporters and past donors.

The fellows “will be assigned to a specific community,” the message said, “where they’ll work to organize supporters street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood.”  Their jobs will involve recruiting additional Obama workers, managing Obama-related events, knocking on doors to talk about Obama and to “lay new groundwork to carry this movement forward for years to come.”

“In the end, their work will take our grassroots power to an impressive new level,” the message boasts.

The Times adds:

The appeal cites as one role model Nikki Giancola who underwent the training, then quit her middle school teacher’s job to become a regional Obama field director and the satisfaction she felt “in helping millions of people.”

Another community organizer, Paras Patel, tells of one unforgettable moment actually meeting the leader for whom they all labor, President Obama. “He shook my hand,” Patel recounts, “and told me that he was proud of me.”

No mention of an Obama organizer flag, uniform — or salute… yet.

Dems and Liberals - Stop With the Race Card and Political Correctness Game

The last attempt for liberals, whenever they are losing an argument, is to call their opponents' names and use the race card… and always has been and Americans are tired of it.
Yesterday I heard from two friends that I share my thoughts and writings with; one by email and one live on the phone. Both their comments kept me up and have left me thinking all day.
At first I didn’t think much of it. One friend is a Black female that served as a sergeant in the Army, was always fairly conservative in most arenas, but changed her faith from Southern Baptist to Muslim when it was cool in 60’s or 70’s, watches and generally agrees with Lou Dobbs’ border policy, second husband was Caucasian (first was Black), voted for Bush and 2008 voted for Obama. My second is a Hispanic-American gal who barely speaks a word of Spanish, works for the OC school district, has as many Caucasian friends Hispanic, is a good Christian involved at church and we both belong to a group that is completely ethnically balanced… Black, White, Asian and Hispanic and nobody notices. She didn’t vote for either presidential candidate because she didn’t like either one and isn’t very political.
But all of a sudden I heard both of them repeating the hateful rhetoric and untruths being presented by the mainstream media, without even thinking about it… The liberal reverse racism game. I also realized that they had no idea of half of things that are going on because they weren’t being reported… As Charles Gibson of ABC said today… “I had no idea what the ACORN story even was.”
Even though America voted for Barack Obama and he won with a handy margin, “White People aren’t comfortable with a Black President”?!?
I have spent the past 14-months writing and blogging about the election and events since Obama’s election, so probably read, watch and attend more political material every day from the spectrum of available information than the average 20 people do in a week.
And people… I never heard anyone accuse the president of anything or say anything about him because of race. It is because they don’t like his liberal politics, big spending or the socialistic types he surrounds himself with. It is the left… the Dems and the White House that are using race to try and make their points or belittle the opposition.
One of the big claims is that there are no Blacks at the Tea Parties… Hmmm… I saw several, as well as other people of color, and we have two interviews and a photo here.
"Educate Yourself, If it’s to be it’s up to me!
Uncle Sam's Plantation: How Big Government Enslaves America's Poor and What We Can Do About It" ...Star Parker
"The Black Community has been the Pawn and Victims of the Left Movement for Years"... David Horowitz
Despite slurs, intimidation, and widely reported physical attacks from union thugs, a few brave black souls have showed up at tea party protest rallies.
I'm getting more and more calls from black conservatives around the country running for local office. I see black conservative Web sites popping up and there's even black rappers rapping a conservative message. (Full Story)
Being called a racist in today’s society is about the worst thing you can be called, so liberals know that people will do anything to avoid being called one. The Left has learned that lesson will through the actions of people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

Democrats see race factor for Barack Obama foe… (Or use it because they can)

Demonstrators are shown during a rally.

The whispers among some of his allies: that those who loathe Obama are driven in part by racism. Demonstrators are shown during a rally at Freedom Plaza in Washington on Saturday.

AUSTIN – Eight months into Barack Obama’s presidency, as criticism of his administration seems to reach new levels of volume and intensity each week, the whispers among some of his allies are growing louder: That those who loathe the nation’s first African-American president, and especially those who would deny his citizenship, are driven at least in part by racism.
It’s a feeling that’s acutely felt among those supporters of Obama who are themselves minorities. Conversations with Democrats at an otherwise upbeat Democratic National Committee fall gathering here, an event largely devoted to party housekeeping, reflected a growing anger at what many see as a troubling effort to delegitimize Obama’s hold on the office.
“As far as African-Americans are concerned, we think most of it is,” said Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Texas), when asked in an interview in between sessions how much of the more extreme anger at Obama is based upon his race. “And we think it’s very unfortunate. We as African-American people of course are very sensitive to it.”
Johnson is a somewhat-reserved, nine-term member of Congress, more gracious southern lady than racial bomb-thrower. She enjoyed a warm personal relationship with fellow Texan George W. Bush when he was in the White House and fondly recalled their ability to get along, divergent politics aside.
But she said the disdain for this president, especially sharp in her home state, had reached a point where it had become necessary to speak out.
“It’s hurting the spirit of this country,” Johnson said, citing concerns about what the rest of the world may think about a powerful nation where a significant segment of the population does not accept their elected leader as legitimate.
Rep. Mike Honda (D-Calif.), chairman of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, agreed with his colleague that elements of the opposition can’t accept the reality of a black president.
“There’s a very angry, small group of folks that just didn’t like the fact that Barack Obama won the presidency,” Honda said, adding: “With some, I think it is [about race].
Said Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) about the race factor: “There are some issues that have been swept under the rug and we’re not witnessing them come out.”
But it's still a sensitive enough issue that the party doesn’t broach it directly.
Virginia Governor and Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine used a speech Friday to single out those conservative critics whose hostility toward President Obama goes deeper than just opposing his policies — but without mentioning that which many in his party believe drives the anger.
“Republican leaders…rose up to say that he did not deserve honorary degrees from colleges that were giving him degrees last spring, members of Congress, Republican members of Congress, are spreading bogus rumors about where the president was born, and they whipped up opposition all across this country when President Obama wanted to give a speech to our nation’s schoolchildren to tell them to take responsibility, study hard and stay in school,” Kaine said here at the party’s fall meeting.
He demurred when asked later whether this often-personal criticism is rooted in contempt for a president who happens to be black.
Other Democrats, not as constrained by the office they hold, are more outspoken about what they see as the racism aimed at Obama.
“We think all of it is!” exclaimed Gwen Dawkins, a Democratic activist from Michigan and retired state employee when asked to what degree the fervent opposition to Obama was driven by his skin color.
Dawkins also touched on a common, if mostly privately-held, frustration in the African-American community—that with exceptional difficulties at home and abroad, Obama is bearing a significantly heavier burden than most presidents and his naysayers would prefer him to founder so as to validate their fears about a black president.
“Black people have lived under white presidents since day one,” Dawkins observed, “So would you give him a chance?”
Donna Brazile, a longtime Democratic strategist and a DNC vice-chair declined to, as she put it, “put all the president’s opponents in a box,” with regard to their motivation. But she said more and more average African-Americans are approaching her with grave worries about Obama.
“They’re worried sick about his safety,” Brazile said. “When they see some of these statements, the guns at his rallies, some of the hate talk on TV and radio, there’s a natural tendency because of the wounds that built up for centuries without being addressed to worry. It’s a natural concern for them to worry.”
Obama himself is cagey about the question of race-based opposition and, throughout his brief tenure, has gone to some lengths to downplay the consequences of his race. He and his advisers avoid screaming, or even whispering, racism for fear of how it will come off with those white voters who may be open-minded but also don’t want a president in the Sharpton-Jackson mold.
The administration has been burned when Obama did step out of his usual post-racial posture to touch the nation’s true third rail. When Obama declared at a nationally-televised news conference this summer that the Cambridge police officer who arrested Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates had acted “stupidly,” polls showed many whites uneasy about that judgment.
The conflagration, in part driven by a race-consumed news media, blazed for days, obscuring the president’s healthcare reform push and dying out only after Obama brought together the cop and the professor for a détente at their much-ballyhooed beer summit.
“I don’t think the president believes that people are upset because of the color of his skin,” said White House Press Secretary and Obama confidante Robert Gibbs on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday.
It's in both parties' interest to keep the race issue from consuming the debate. Democrats, already facing considerable opposition to their ambitious agenda, fear angering centrist white voters who may be turned off by open accusations of racism. And Republicans, trying to rebuild their party and discard the image of a white male club, surely don't want their own legitimate policy criticisms of the president to be obscured and degraded by those on the right whose contempt for Obama may indeed be fueled by race.
Republicans see an important distinction between Obama critics who are genuinely worried about his tax, spending and national security policies and those whose fears go beyond the president’s liberalism.
But for some Democrats, it’s difficult to make that distinction when conservative marchers take to Washington bearing images of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Obama that read, “He had a dream, we got a nightmare,” and when a Southern congressman shouts at Obama while he addresses Congress in a demonstration of disrespect never seen when a white president spoke in that hallowed hall.
Kaine, like his close friend the president, a post-baby boomer who has thought considerably about race but is politically smart enough to downplay the issue, largely avoided the question after his speech here Friday.
“There’s anxiety and I assume that there’s a lot of reasons for it,” Kaine said initially, trying to avoid a news-making declaration while also not denying what many of his party brethren believe is plain on its face.
He settled on this: “Something is going on there. I can’t figure it all out. I’m not a psychologist. But my goal is to beat it and to continue to put the facts on the table and count on the American public [who] when you make it plain, I think they understand what’s right and they go with you.”
Brazile said there was little upside in Obama’s administration weighing in on the racial debate.
“You cannot have a conversation when the elephant in the room begins to dance,” Brazile said. “For the White House to exhaust their political capital to make this a teachable moment – as they did with Gates and [Sergeant James] Crowley -- would be hugely distracting. The president should continue to focus on jobs and healthcare.”
She added: “Everything in his in-box is already marked urgent.”

Yes… We are Black and we were in Washington D.C. at the 9/12 March

The Race Card was pulled out again when Joe Wilson called the President a liar, whenever average Americans speak out or protest at tea parties or town halls, and when anyone questions Obama’s policies. “When it is used so often, it cheapens the accusation and the effect”, said Brit Hume earlier today. Juan Williams, Newt Gingrich, Charles Krauthammer, Star Parker, Bernie Goldberg and the list goes on, all said that the Wilson incident did not appear to be racially motivated and that we cannot let ourselves have a Black President… but just a President that we can all disagree with.
Juan Williams (a black pulitzer prize winner) said every American should feel free to question the president and that accusing someone of being a racist is a serious, serious matter and should only be used when it is TRUE. Questioning the president, any president, is being a responsible American! There has been more racist talk since Obama came into office and declared this the new 'post-racial' era. And the side thing is that the race baring has come from his party, his followers and his administration. We must remember that America looked the other way in the Jeremiah Wright issue.
Remember when the left does not have the facts to win their argument, wants to change your focus off the real issues or they are losing... they always pull the race card... And they just don't respond to the real issues and questions being asked.... HMMMM? Tea Partiers, Town Hallers, Glenn Beck and even the GOP leaders in the House and Senate have been asking questions and making suggestions since January... but except when Obama says his door is always open to constructive criticism and input to sound good in a speech... He and the White House won't respond, won't answer the questions and won't meet with the GOP. The last meeting with GOP leaders on Healthcare was in April?!?

What you have is the far lefties… former President Jimmy Carter, columnist Maureen Dowd, hate mongers Bill Maher and Jon Stewart and down right crazies like Jeanine Garafelo… throwing out the made up hate messages causing incidents like below...

When you read about the backgrounds of many of Obama’s Czars, and listen to the comments of now ex-czar, Van Jones, it leaves little question as to where the problem and hate mongering lies. And as Obama said himself on the campaign trail “Judge me by the people I have around me” Mr. President… that is pretty scary!
