Martin Luther King Day 2015 - 50th Anniversary of Selma March

mlking-_portrait_fi

by Marion Algier -  Ask Marion

Al Sharpton sold out long ago to become the ‘racial grievance industry profiteer’ he is today, shaking down individuals and corporations alike in exchange for his silence or support. But he really outdid himself this month with his latest stunt. Al Sharpton called a special diversity meeting to complain that the movie Selma didn’t get enough nods (Selma received two nominations including Best Picture) and that no African Americans were nominated this year, implying that the academy was too white, too male and too old.  Hello?  Silly me, I thought that the Oscars and the arts were about best performances not quotas and I guess a Best Picture nomination was insulting?  I guess we will be redistributing Oscars soon and calculating their nominations according to quotas if liberals have their way?!?

Sharpton should get the Oscar for being the greatest opportunist.  His move and approach last week would be exactly opposite of what MLK would have wanted or done! Martin Luther King, Jr. promoted unity not division.

On Sunday, the 'Selma' actors lead a re-enactment of the 1965 march on the eve of the 2015 MLK holiday.

Juan Williams: Songs of the Summer of 1963 . . . and 2013

Rap songs celebrating tattooed thugs make a sad contrast with the sweet music of the March on Washington

By  JUAN WILLIAMS  - WSJ

Fifty years after the March on Washington, mystical memories of that seminal moment in the civil-rights era are less likely to focus on movement politics than on the great poetry and great music.

The emotional uplift of the monumental march is a universe of time away from today's degrading rap music — filled with the n-word, bitches and "hoes" — that confuses and depresses race relations in America now.

The poetry of Aug. 28, 1963, is best on view when Martin Luther King Jr. went off his speech script and started using a musical, chanting reprise — "I have a dream." The transforming insight born of the power of the interracial gathering at that time of turmoil, combined with the power of the spoken word, created an emotional message that still grips the American mind.

"I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood," King said, in verse that somehow spanned a history of slavery and the Founding Fathers' uniquely American promise of equality.

"I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice. I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but the content of their character. I have a dream today!"

That poetry rose above the reality that as King spoke the civil-rights movement was stalled. Few schools had integrated after the Supreme Court's Brown v. Board of Education decision nine years earlier. One hundred years after the Emancipation Proclamation, the Civil Rights Act was stuck in Congress. NAACP leader Medgar Evers had been killed in June. After a violent April in Alabama, in which protest marchers were beaten and set upon by police dogs, an estimated 15,000 more civil-rights activists had been arrested at protests across the country that summer.

King sailed past all those sad realities to invoke his soaring vision of the nation at racial peace. When he finished speaking, the crowd spontaneously broke into singing "We Shall Overcome," holding hands and swaying as if in communal prayer.

That sense of unity, promise and purpose was also evident in the music of the march. It's music that still stirs emotions to this day.

Bob Dylan's "Blowin' In The Wind," written in 1962, hit No. 2 on the Billboard charts just before the crowd gathered in Washington. When the folk-music trio Peter, Paul and Mary sang the song for the 250,000 people in front of the Lincoln Memorial that day, it became an interracial anthem for change. The song itself drew inspiration from two others: The lyrics brought to mind Woody Guthrie's "Bound for Glory," which included an allegory about newspapers blowing down city streets, and its melody came from a slave protest song called "No More Auction Block."

And so they sang in Washington: "Yes, how many years can some people exist before they're allowed to be free? Yes, how many times can a man turn his head, pretending that he just doesn't see? The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind, the answer is blowin' in the wind."

Sam Cooke, the black gospel and rhythm-and-blues singer began performing the Dylan song immediately after the march. He had been working on a song about the hurt he felt as a black man living with racism yet also with hope for better times. In December 1963, Cooke recorded "A Change Is Gonna Come." The song became a hit on black radio, another anthem of yearning for a nation without racial rancor.

"I go to the movie and I go downtown, somebody keep telling me don't hang around," Cooke wrote. "It's been a long time coming but I know a change is gonna come, oh yes it will."

The next year, in 1964, Curtis Mayfield—also openly inspired by the music of the march—wrote an even more hopeful song: "People Get Ready." It, too, picked up on a frequent image of American folklore, the train of salvation.

Just as Woody Guthrie and Johnny Cash had sung "This Train's Bound for Glory," Mayfield, a black Chicago singer steeped in church gospel music and the blues, sang about faith in the American struggle for racial justice.

"People get ready, there's a train a comin'; you don't need no baggage you just get on board . . . there ain't no room for the hopeless sinner who would hurt all mankind just to save his own. Have pity on those whose chances grow thinner. For there's no hiding place against the Kingdom's throne."

The uplifting lyrics made "People Get Ready" one of the earliest hits on both black and white radio. Bob Marley later used some of the words in his poignant song "One Love." Bruce Springsteen used the song as a healing anthem at concerts after the 9/11 terror attacks.

The songs by Dylan, Cooke and Mayfield have been ranked 14th, 12th and 24th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of greatest songs of all time. All three have roots in the March on Washington.

Now, half a century after the lyrical promise of that inspiring music and poetry, there is the inescapable and heartbreaking contrast with the malignant, self-aggrandizing rap songs that define today's most popular music.

In Jay-Z's current hit, "Holy Grail," he sings about "psycho bitches" and uses the n-word seven times while bragging that he is "Living the life . . . Illest [n-word] alive." Another top rapper, Lil Wayne, released a song in the spring with an obscenity in the title, using the n-word repeatedly and depicting himself as abusing "hoes" and "bitches."

Similar examples abound in the rap-music world and have persisted for years with scarcely any complaint from today's civil-rights leaders. Their failure to denounce these lyrics for the damage they do to poor and minority families—words celebrating tattooed thugs and sexually indiscriminate women as icons of "keeping it real" — is a sad reminder of how long it has been since the world heard the sweet music of the March on Washington.

Mr. Williams is a political analyst for Fox News and a columnist for the Hill. He is the author of "Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years 1954-1965" (Kindle). (Viking, 1987).  A version of this article appeared August 27, 2013, on page A15 in the U.S. edition of The Wall Street Journal, with the headline: Songs of the Summer of 1963 . . . and 2013.

The Council Has Spoken!! This Week’s Watcher’s Council Results - 08.02.13

JoshuaPundit on Aug 02 2013:

Alea iacta estThe Council Has Spoken!, the votes have been cast, and we have the results  for this week’s Watcher’s Council match up.

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.” - Booker T. Washington

“No one will really understand politics until they understand that politicians are not trying to solve our problems. They are trying to solve their own problems — of which getting elected and re-elected are number one and number two. Whatever is number three is far behind.” – Thomas Sowell

This week’s winner, Joshuapundit’s The Great Divider    is my reaction to President Obama’s little speech on race after the Zimmerman verdict. What he had to say pretty much passed unnoticed by the legacy media, but as I point out, a lot of what he had to say merited notice for what it revealed about him and his mindset.  Here’s a slice:

Video: Obama Talks About Trayvon, part 1

Video: Obama Talks About Trayvon, part 2

President Obama had a few things to say last Friday about the Zimmerman trial, about Trayvon Martin, and of course about race.

It amazes me that the full import of his remarks will pass unnoticed by the legacy press and indeed by most of America. Because what the president had to say was nothing less than astounding coming from a sitting president of the United States.

It’s necessary to translate his remarks. As the president said, context is important.

President Obama started out after the pro forma remarks by upping the ante. Now, it’s not just that if he had a son he would have looked like Trayvon, but that 35 years ago he was Trayvon:

But I did want to just talk a little bit about context and how people have responded to it and how people are feeling. You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago. And when you think about why, in the African- American community at least, there’s a lot of pain around what happened here, I think it’s important to recognize that the African- American community is looking at this issue through a set of experiences and a history that — that doesn’t go away.

The president said this while violent protests that amounted to riots were going on in many locales and random whites were being assaulted by blacks using ‘justice for Trayvon’ as their excuse.

This is quite similar to the logic terrorism groupies try to foist on the unwary to justify terrorist activities; ‘well you know I certainly don’t condone violence but you have to understand their rage.’ Needless to say, that never works the other way around when objects of terrorism like the Israelis defend themselves. Any response is deemed ‘disproportionate’. And make no mistake. President Obama’s excusing the Trayvon riots on the basis of experiences and history is yet another important message, given that all important context. When he says “this experience and history doesn’t go away” he is not only justifying that violence but letting America know that no matter what, our country is guilty and no matter how much money or good will we expend, it will never be enough. It will never end.

Which means of course that according to President Obama, blacks of necessity have to nourish grievance for eternity and are not responsible for their own actions, no matter what.

That was President Obama’s central message. As I pointed out earlier, President Obama’s entire stance on this is political in nature . Trayvon Martin was a  useful  smokescreen to divert attention from his own failures, the scandals permeating his administration and a tool  to get black voters to the polls in record numbers in 2014 to support his agenda. It’s worth remembering that it was Obama’s Department of Justice that actually played a significant part in orchestrating, funding and organizing the violent protests that made the Trayvon Martin shooting a national issue. Because there’s money and power to be had by nourishing that black sense of grievance.

Roll that over in your mind a moment. Here we have a president whose Department of Justice deliberately assisted in fanning the flames that turned an obscure local incident into a national racial firestorm led, coordinated  and abetted by President Obama’s intimate associate Al Sharpton. We have the president’s own willingness  to exacerbate things  further by making a national statement inserting himself  into the matter and by.putting political pressure on local authorities to prosecute someone who had already been cleared of any wrongdoing after a through investigation by police with a case so shoddily put together that the special prosecutor had to bypass the grand jury mechanism standard in such cases to even have George Zimmerman charged and brought to trial.

Yes, President Obama’s quite right that the sense of racial grievance doesn’t go away. Especially when you deliberately pour gasoline on it .

The president’s attempt to embellish this message by whining about the indignities he supposedly suffered as a young black male..being watched when he went shopping in a store, walking across the street and hearing door locks on cars click, having women in an elevator clutch their purses tighter..’ was even more ridiculous coming from someone who has lived a life of privilege and ease his entire life and has known nothing but the best America has to offer.

Here's Barack Hussein Obama, 35 years ago, in the inner city halls of Punahou Prep School in Hawaii.

Yes, this picture of the racist hell the president endured 35 years ago while going to the ultra elite Punahou Prep School in Hawaii tells it all, doesn’t it?

Children of Darkness - Sheriff Jim R. Schwiesow, Retired

By Sheriff Jim R. Schwiesow, Ret. - May 1, 2012 - NewsWithViews.com – Cross-Posted at BeforeItsNews.com

“In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” - George Orwell

I doubt that many understand that this nation stands solely by the will and grace of the Sovereign God, each day is a gift and the seconds, minutes, and hours of every day come by His divine determination. We have not earned His grace, and neither are we intrinsically entitled to His blessings for a continued existence.

The truth is that the population of this nation is entirely bereft of any semblance of an obeisant relationship with Almighty God. A near totality now lack an ethical spiritual persuasion that enables one to discern or distinguish between good and evil, right and wrong, or between socially righteous and execrably putrid personal conduct.

Our society has descended into the stygian depths of demonic doctrine. This disconnect from the God of creation has delivered the people unto a beastly nature; they are devoid of the constituents of human sensibility and rife with the stinking elements of a hellish nature. It is not difficult to discern that a sizeable majority of the people who inhabit the far flung environs of this nation are children of darkness and possessed of the mind of Satan, the god of this world.

The stink of this nation has reached the heavens and God is about to pull a curtain of blackness over this land that will release the elements of destruction that are harbored in the immoral minds of a near totally perverted people.

Presently we are witnessing rapidly developing hostilities between ethnic groups divided on the basis of racial group or skin color. The present Faustian despot who now rules and reigns over the destiny of the peoples of this commonwealth is using the powers of the office of president to set aflame the smoldering prejudice of malleable anarchists’ in order to ignite roiling race wars that will collapse social order and bring this nation to its knees. This is his goal; to destroy national sovereignty and re-make the nation as a totalitarian socialist element of a centrally controlled one world homogeny; in other words a modern version of the Tower of Babel.

The established and unarguable fact is that both Barack Obama and his wife hate the United States and have never made a secret of their disdain of its history, its valor, or its constitutional values. They have stated their antipathy for the nation and all that it stands for on a number of occasions in a number of venues. The astonishing aspect of this is that the majority of the people of this nation voted for such a perverse foreign born nit having full knowledge of his contempt for their land and its historical values. This fact highlights two things; the sheer stupidity of the American electorate and the in your face audacity of the Obama clan.

NO CHANGE FORESEEN

This nation has been stood on its head for so long in regard to its system of principles and beliefs that the people have not the foggiest notion of the Biblical standards that the Almighty has set forth to establish human behavior. God’s laws are not taught in the churches or in the homes, and the nation’s systems of laws are predicated upon the myriad whims and caprices of unjust and unholy men rather than upon the divine and binding absolutes of the Holy God.

Righteous acts are punished and criminal behaves are justified and rewarded, the innocent are imprisoned while the guilty are exonerated and set free to continue their plundering and murderous ways. Millions of guiltless human babies are butchered in the name of personal choice and their remains are either cast off as garbage or mined for experimentation by a depraved scientific and ethically challenged biological community. I suspect that if one knew the extent of the experimentation with the bits and pieces of these poor little creatures it would turn the stomach.

Iniquitous acts and perversions are excused and socially instituted by a nationally embraced exculpation known as political correctness. It has become the tool used to sanction prurient practices and lifestyles and to remove the stigma from Biblically identified abominable perversions.

Just recently the progressive community has attempted to sanitize the filthy practice of sodomy by intimating that those in opposition to this aberrational and pestilential behavior are in fact closet sodomites who use their opposition as a form of concealment. It is an inauthentic psychological stretch by these imbeciles’, and the real psychology is the reverse of their progressive mythology.

Since sodomites are so inwardly ashamed of their perversion and have no adequate way to justify or vindicate their filthy behavior they must resort to a conjuration of the delusionary and fictional twaddle that others are as nasty as they. To make it simple they must attempt to smear healthy heterosexuals with their own excrement in order to assuage their feelings of guilt and self-loathing. You want psychology; there it is - the real truth!

A CORRUPT MILITARY

George Patton is one of my hero’s he was an iconic politically incorrect, courageous, loquacious, outspoken, and perceptive son of a gun, and the most effective U.S. military commander to ever come down the pike. I respect him above most other historical figures and think of him as the Old Hickory of modern times; he and Andrew Jackson were much alike in deed and in spirit. This country would never have come to its former glory without men such as these.

There is not a single military high commander today (NONE) who could come close to Patton in principle or true integrity, they are all politically correct, butt kissing pukes who couldn’t stand in Patton’s shadow. He was a man’s man and one can imagine that he must be turning in his grave given queers in the military, women in combat, and the sundry other politically correct crap that the ignorant politicos’ and dimwitted military brass have instituted into the armed services...one wonders why anyone would volunteer for any branch of the armed services in the current degraded environment.

POLITICAL BUFFOONERY

I can’t imagine that anyone could be as sick and disgusted as I am with the current totally ignorant political scene and the seeming interminable political blather that assails the ears and eyes of a captive people every minute of every day. I can only liken it to an ache from a festering tooth; it will be a wonderful relief when it is over.

The arrogant Republicans who control the party apparatus have dictatorially secured the nomination for semi progressive Mitt Romney. He will be the nominee as these arrogant political kingmakers have structured the process to eliminate all others despite their popularity or constitutional expertise.

I hear the establishment Republicans complain that Ron Paul supporters are combative, rude and unsportsmanlike in regard to Romney’s candidacy; I believe that most do not really care about Romney one way or another. He harbors a non scrupulous core and is a capital investor who places money above principle. To make it worse he supports failed inherited political patterns over a retrieval of constitutional ensures. Scripture has a name for such; they are called money changers.

That he is a money changer cannot be denied, as he rolls in 27 million dollars each day from investments alone. He is of inherited wealth and in all probability hasn’t done an earnest day’s work in his entire life. His past political services have established him as a milk toast and a lickspittle who exhibits not one whit of a believable fighting spirit. He kisses progressive behinds in the name of compromise, and willingly barters away the essential non-negotiable constituents of constitutional governance.

In November these Republican dimwits and the media that aided them (I am thinking of Fox) are going to be stunned when Obama wins handily due to the huge number of voters who will spurn these Republican moguls, and their hand-picked candidate, and write in Ron Paul on their ballot. By their high handed tactics these nitwits have pissed into the wind the margin needed for a win.

This is no big deal as the country is treading the margins of collapse and destruction, and might as well go down with the present interloping idiot that the ignorant masses have clutched to their bosom.

One last thing in regard to Mitt Romney before I move along to other issues, he recently opined that God employed evolution to create mankind. By doing so he ignored God’s inspired word of Genesis 1:1-2:3 and thereby called God a liar. There is no room for evolutionists in my camp – this was again another cowardly double-sided attempt to appease believers while ingratiating himself with the secular evolutionists.

I AM NOT A JEREMIAH

“Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?” (Psalm 139:21)

Periodically I receive letters suggesting that I must grieve in regard to the onrushing wrath of the Holy One upon the people of this nation. The cold hard fact is that unlike Jeremiah I do not weep when the iniquitous receive a just due. I have never shed a tear when a murderer is executed, I never agonize when a terrorist of any stripe, domestic or otherwise, is dropped in his tracks by a well placed bullet, and I never wring my hands when evil people reap the just results of their crimes.

Like Elijah, who shed no tears over the slain four hundred fifty false prophets of Baal, I am angered by those who deny, ridicule, slander, and blaspheme the Lord Jesus Christ.

In such an ungodly society as we presently live, my compassion is reserved for the unfortunate victims of the conscious less, and of the world’s oppressors and the criminally malfeasant.

I am a believer in Christ and a servant of the Most High Holy God. I am not in love with this country, nor do I worship or esteem any earthly entity whose governing authority has demonstrated that it is a proxy of the evil one. My home is not of this world…

This nation and this world is a temporary dwelling place. By all indications we are presently in the time of the terminal generation; those who love Christ will not be saddened, but overjoyed by such news. But, those who love this fallen world above the Lord will be irritated, offended, and possibly even outraged by my words; just as they are - in these critical days - offended by the Messiah and His ministry.

100 Black Youth Attack and Beat White Couple  -  Media Mum for Two Weeks

There’s outrage in Norfolk, Va., today after a white couple was attacked by dozens of black teenagers, and the local newspaper did not report on the incident for two weeks, despite the victims being reporters for the paper.

Even today, the Virginian-Pilot did not cover the crime as news, but rather as an opinion piece by columnist Michelle Washington.

“Wave after wave of young men surged forward to take turns punching and kicking their victim,” Washington wrote, describing the onslaught that began when Dave Forster and Marjon Rostami stopped at a traffic light while driving home from a show on a Saturday night. A crowd of at least 100 black young people was on the sidewalk at the time.

“Rostami locked her car door. Someone threw a rock at her window. Forster got out to confront the rock-thrower, and that’s when the beating began. …

“The victim’s friend, a young woman, tried to pull him back into his car. Attackers came after her, pulling her hair, punching her head and causing a bloody scratch to the surface of her eye. She called 911. A recording told her all lines were busy. She called again. Busy. On her third try, she got through and, hysterical, could scream only their location. Church and Brambleton. Church and Brambleton. Church and Brambleton. It happened four blocks from where they work, here at the Virginian-Pilot.”

Washington says neither suffered grave injuries, but both were out of work for a week. Forster’s torso ached from blows to his ribs, and he retained a thumb-sized bump on his head. Rostami reportedly fears to be alone in her home, while Forster wishes he’d stayed in the car.

The columnist admits the story has not, until today, appeared in the Virginian-Pilot.

“The responding officer coded the incident as a simple assault, despite their assertions that at least 30 people had participated in the attack,” Washington explains. “A reporter making routine checks of police reports would see ‘simple assault’ and, if the names were unfamiliar, would be unlikely to write about it. In this case, editors hesitated to assign a story about their own employees. Would it seem like the paper treated its employees differently from other crime victims?”

Washington says the day after the beatings, Forster searched Twitter for mention of the attack, and one post in particular chilled him.

“I feel for the white man who got beat up at the light,” wrote one person.

“I don’t,” wrote another, indicating laughter. “(do it for Trayvon Martin)”

Trayvon Martin is the unarmed black teen who died after being shot by a community-watch captain with white and Hispanic parents, George Zimmerman, in Sanford, Fla., sparking a wave of outrage long after the incident.

The newspaper is coming under heavy criticism today from residents in the greater Norfolk area, known as Hampton Roads.

“It is unbelievable that the Virginian-Pilot would BURY this story for two weeks for politically correct reasons. That is sad and disgusting,” said David Englert of Norfolk. “Someone should be fired or resign over the decision not to report this attack. It is a sad enough commentary on our society and community to read about how the responding police viewed this crime, but for our only newspaper to decide that they will hide from the truth rather than report the truth is PATHETIC! Any attack by a mob of people on any innocent victim should be put under a bright spotlight for all involved to be judged and exposed as appropriate, and to make sure that the criminal justice system does its job to protect those who obey the law.”

William Tabor of Chesapeake, Va., complained: “Surely the Pilot knew about it. A racially motivated attack is certainly news. Was it not politically correct enough to be reported? Is civilization suspended in Norfolk after dark? If we can’t rely on the police for protection, and our [news] media fails to warn us of such hazards, we can only rely on ourselves.”

Charles Chandler of Norfolk indicated: “I am not sure what I am angrier about. This story, or the crowd of black teens who needlessly and thoughtlessly beat two white victims. Or am I just angry that this still occurs in the year 2012. Nearly fifty years after the marches and the speeches and the declaration of civil liberties for all people. Clearly we are nowhere near the dream Dr. King envisioned. I am angry. I am angry at the calloused cop who stated ‘this is what they do.’ I am angry at the Pilot for hiding it under a bushel.”

And Douglas Gaynor of Virginia Beach brought up the need for self-defense, saying, “If the young lady was armed and trained, she could have whipped out P345 and taken out a few thugs.”

ED Rush View on the Martin Case "When & Why Now"

Erik-Rush_avatarby Erik Rush Email | ArchiveWND

Author of Negrophilia: From Slave Block to Pedestal - America's Racial Obsession

A commie president and the Trayvon tragedy

This past weekend I was asked by my friend and Fox News commentator T.J. McCormack to visit with him on his radio show and comment on a column he’d written concerning the Trayvon Martin shooting. Pretty much anyone with a forum (whether television, radio, online publications or social media) who’s commented on this issue has taken heat either from the right or the left. In this case, it was both.

T.J.’s take on the shooting, subsequent media feeding frenzy and rash of activism was a little different than most being bandied about. It was a sincere appeal for prominent parties on both sides of the issue to unite amicably in light of the incident’s grave potential repercussions.

“Coming together” for the good of the nation would certainly hold the moral high ground, but I opined that this was probably about as likely as my becoming a volunteer at the local Obama campaign office.

There are simply too many agendas in play to hope for such unity to manifest. The radicals are driving the discussion and the response, which in this case is analogous to the inmates running the asylum. Race-baiting career activists are fomenting anger and tension with the full complicity of the establishment press. The former seek continuing relevance and ongoing financial support, while the latter seeks ratings. Both are ideologically aligned with – or rather, part of – the radical element.

And the politicos? Well, Democratic leaders are obviously aligned with the radical element, particularly if they’re part of this administration, and the remainder are close enough. Republican leaders will be in trouble no matter what they do. If they remain silent, they’ll be called cowards; if they speak out and don’t call for George Zimmerman’s boiled severed head, they’ll be called racists. Most would rather have the coward label than the racist one, so have said nothing. Conservative commentators who weigh in are dismissed as party to perceived racist policies, and any reasonable liberal voices are being drowned out by the din of the far-left propaganda machine.

How do we go from a moment to a movement that creates fundamental change? If it’s a moment, we go home. If it’s a movement, we go to war.

– Rev. Jesse Jackson, March 12, 2012

It may surprise some people when I say that the hypocrisy and irresponsible, dangerous rhetoric of career civil-rights activists are hardly the issue here. Neither is the alacrity with which the news media pounce on stories like this while ignoring the 2007 Tennessee gang-rape and mutilation slaying of a white couple by four black men, or the recent attempted immolation of a white Kansas City youth by a gang of black kids. The issue isn’t black Americans’ inability to discern that their political allies have accounted for exponentially more deaths of blacks via their policies than all the confirmed race-related killings of blacks over the last 40 years.

The issues upon which we should focus are the when and the why this is occurring in the way it is occurring. We may never know the truth of what happened between Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman in the moments before the shooting, but if we examine the when and the why of its aftermath, the truth becomes eerily apparent.

When President Obama commented on the Martin shooting, some contended that he had “acted stupidly” in commenting on something he should have stayed out of for reasons of due process and presidential decorum. I contend that like nearly everything he does, it was quite calculated. While specious as well as gratuitous, Obama stating that if he had a son, “he’d look like Trayvon” was nevertheless calculated to engender an emotional response. The reason it was calculated to engender an emotional response is the same reason many things are transpiring across the political landscape, all at the same approximate time.

That’s the when part … which is, quite clearly, right now.

The things to which I refer that are transpiring concurrently include the aftereffects of the sub-prime mortgage crisis, violence on our border with Mexico, the Occupy movement, assaults on religious freedom and free speech by the administration and activists, and the implausible organization and mobilization of fringe malcontents into politically active groups. These developments can all be traced (as I’ve recently indicated) to Obama’s political roots, which are borne out by his policies, his associations and his affinity for such doctrines as Black Liberation Theology and Critical Race Theory.

The specter of a communist takeover of the U.S. still remains singularly preposterous to millions of Americans who would quickly come to arms if they actually believed it a possibility. I’m not entirely certain how President Obama proposes to suppress those who would rise up against him were his intentions to become widely apparent, but I believe that part of the plan is to factionalize us (such as is occurring over the Martin case and Occupy Wall Street). I believe he’s also counting on deepening economic adversity to heighten Americans’ collective stress. Another element might be to provoke concerned patriots into action that he could point to as a threat to domestic tranquility, thereby convincing a preponderance of Americans to accept fundamental compromises to their civil liberties.

In such a case, Obama could then employ some of the more traditional Marxist tactics, such as mass executions, as cohorts of his friend Bill Ayers once advocated. It’s already apparent that certain factions would be more than happy to aid him in that effort. Quite a few conservatives have pointed to the timeliness of Obama’s executive order of March 16 (on “National Defense Resources Preparedness”) as an overture to just such action. Called a mere “tweak” of the amended Defense Production Act of 1950, many have asked why the president saw a necessity to “tweak” a law with provisions that essentially give exclusive and unlimited power to the Executive Branch in the event of a national emergency, which would necessarily be declared by the president himself.

To those whose assessment of individuals is not predicated upon what comes out of their mouths and the mouths of their surrogates, the truth is clear: President Obama is a communist, laboring with like-minded comrades to actualize a long-embraced communist agenda – and their end game is fast approaching.

That is the why of it.

Leveraging Racism for Chaos – Gateway to Communism

The New Black Panther Party

Revolution – The Beatles:

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it’s evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don’t you know that you can count me out
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right
All right, all right

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We’d all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We’re doing what we can
But when you want money
For people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right
All right, all right
Ah

Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah…

You say you’ll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain’t going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don’t you know it’s gonna be all right
All right, all right
All right, all right, all right
All right, all right, all right

The New Black Panther Party (NBPP) is closely associated with the Nation of Islam (NOI). Former Nation of Islam minister Khalid Abdul Muhammad became the national chairman of the NBPP from the late 1990s until his death in 2001. The group attracted many breakaway members of the NOI. The NBPP is currently led by Malik Zulu Shabazz; it upholds Khalid Abdul Muhammad as the founder of the movement. They note that not all their members are members of the Nation of Islam, though the group acknowledges universal “spirituality” practices within the organization.

They are considered a ‘hate’ group, but the media rarely reports on their movements and intentions. Glenn Beck has stated that the Nation of Islam should be watched as he feels they are capable of great violence.

Although the group claims it does not follow the precepts of Marxism or Mao as the original Black Panther Party did, they do follow the Kawaida theory of Maulana Karenga, which includes black unity, collective action and cooperative economics. In other words, Black Liberation Theology and collectivism – by any other name, it’s still in reality Communism.

The New Black Panther Party is the very antithesis of what Martin Luther King stood for. In fact, they seem hell bent on carrying out the vision of Charlie Manson and his murderous bunch of lunatics.

Enter Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman. From Maggie’s Notebook:

The Sanford, Florida Treyvon Martin killing has taken a turn today. Martin was 17 years old, [he] left a sporting event on television to buy Skittles for his little brother. He left the house unarmed. That much has been confirmed. Today there is a report of a witness who saw the confrontation from his home, and says Martin attacked Zimmerman. For several days, the news has been of “racist” police and a “racist” 28-year-old Neighborhood Watch Captain, George Zimmerman. He is half White, half Hispanic and some of his relatives are Black. The police report recorded that Zimmerman had a bloody nose and blood on the back of his head. His attorney says he has a broken nose. He was not arrested. The Sanford Police Captain stepped down over the calls of racism, and says there are threats against his life and his family. The Black Panthers have a Bounty on Zimmerman, offering $10,000.00 for is “capture.” Zimmerman is not “missing,” or “on the lam,” but is surely in hiding in fear for his life. In addition to the Bounty, the Black Panthers are forming an army [of] 10,000 Black men to hunt down Zimmerman.

And the nudge is about to become a violent shove into chaos. From what I hear Zimmerman was protecting himself. Since when is that a crime? Not all the facts are in yet, but the New Black Panther Party and others are quick to attack with or without all the facts. Whatever happened to Constitutional rights and innocent till proven guilty? Now, we move straight to lynchings. I also wonder with all the crime across the country, why this incident and why now? It looks to me like the left was looking for an incident to create racial tension and violence and this one was as good as any. It also serves to further the loud voices against Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and others. The calls will go from demanding that they be silenced, to calling for their deaths. It’s coming.

As the New Black Panther Party puts out somewhere between $10,000 and a cool 1 million to kill Zimmeran (not really sure as they have said both), there are crickets from the media. But not from social media. From American Power Blog:

And the now-deleted tweet from @Simply_Reiona:

“Ima get a group of niggas to KILL George Zimmerman ( the fat ass racist ass white man who killed Trayvon Martin ) ! He deserves to DIE !!!!— Couldn’t Care Less (@Simply_Reiona) March 24, 2012″

Meanwhile, Spike Lee used his Twitter account to broadcast Zimmerman’s home address to his 244,858 followers.

From The Blaze:

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan has been among the vocal voices weighing in on calls for justice for Trayvon Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old who was gunned down last month while walking home in Sanford, Florida. On Wednesday, a march was held in New York City in support of the teen’s family, as federal and local authorities launch investigations into how the incident unfolded and why the state’s “stand your ground” law applied to the shooter in this case.

On Twitter yesterday and today, Farrakhan sent some curious tweets regarding peace, justice and retaliation that could be interpreted as a veiled threat.

“Where there is no justice, there will be no peace. Soon the law of retaliation may very well be applied,” Farrakhan wrote, including the hashtag #Trayvon to clarify the subject of his angst. “Let us see what kind of justice will come for his bereaved family and our bereaved community.”

And…

“The fruit of justice is peace. But justice is a principle of fair dealing,” he writes in another tweet. “When we fail to do justice, we literally set up conditions that destroy peace.” And in his most recent tweet, Farrakhan writes, “Think. Reflect. Then get up and do something for self or suffer the consequences.”

These messages follow a tweet that Farrakhan sent referencing text from a 2007 sermon. This same article is referenced on the front page of the Nation of Islam’s media outlet, The Final Call, as well. In the article, entitled, “Justifiable Homicide: Black Youth In Peril – Pt. 1,“ the minister claims that ”there has been a great display of anti-Black hatred in the United States of America” of late.

Additionally, he laments discriminatory actions against African Americans and claims that Black youths have not been informed of the price that their forefathers payed to give them their current lifestyles. Farrakhan uses the words “the enemy” to describe those educating Black youths and says that African Americans have suffered at the hands of “a wicked oppressor.”

Now the New Black Panther Party has put out wanted posters to their followers – Zimmeraman is wanted dead or alive:

clip_image002

(AllVoices) — Yesterday afternoon at a press conference, the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense circulated a “wanted dead or alive” poster for George Zimmerman for shooting to death a Florida teenager four weeks ago.

Zimmerman, a self-proclaimed neighborhood watch captain said he accosted what he alleges was a suspicious looking black male walking through his neighborhood. He further contends the man punched him, and bloodied his nose, so Zimmerman fired a gun shot striking the man in the chest. The “man” was 17 year old Trayvon Martin, who would lie in the county morgue three days before police alerted his parents of their child’s death.

Minister Mikhail Muhummud led the press conference, calling for the firing of Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee, the arrest of George Zimmerman and some involvement from President Obama. Muhummud stated he is the southern regional director for the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense located in Jacksonville, Florida. While Minister Muhummud fired off a list of demands and expressed outrage over the handling of the shooting and subsequent investigation; a member of the group passed flyers to about 100 people who showed up for the press conference. Muhummud told the group he was not concerned with rumors of death threats to George Zimmerman, “He should be afraid for his life…”

So, we have ‘progressed’ from radical threats and barbs, to the call for violence in the streets and against one another. How very Cloward and Piven of them. And right on schedule for the chaotic spring descending on America as the Communists who are manipulating the political chess board in America and across the globe, begin to make their move to bring America to her knees. All of this can be laid squarely at Barack Obama’s feet. Future blood spilled because of this will be on his hands, count on it. He is egging it on – from WND:

Obama weighed in on the shooting Friday, saying the incident requires all Americans to “do some soul searching.”

“When I think about this boy, I think about my own kids,” he said. “I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative to investigate every aspect of this and that everybody pulls together – federal, state and local – to figure out exactly how this tragedy happened. But my main message is to the parents of Trayvon Martin: If I had a son he’d look like Trayvon. And I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are gonna take this with the seriousness it deserves and that we’re going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened.”

How touching. Obama self-identifying with a ‘designated’ victim without waiting for even the most basic of facts. Don’t expect a beer summit to come from this.

And the usual leftist instigators are chiming in – they cast themselves as men of God, while calling for violence, death and mayhem – I give you the Reverend Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson – both consummate racists and Communists. They are leading the lynch mob mentality out there and it has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with bottom up, top down, inside out…

All of this is nothing more than leveraging racism to induce chaos and to provide a gateway to full-blown Communism. They mean for us to beg them (the authorities) to make it stop, so they can bring the hammer down. The plan is in full swing and the chaotic dance has just begun to occupy the streets and bring America down.

CONQUEST OF AZTLAN - (DVD)

This was a sales message from WND that came to me, but whether you are interested in buying it or not the information below should interest and worry you! (I’m not selling this or making any profit from it.)

Video: Interview with Alex Jones: Glenn Spencer: Mexican Drug Cartels Conquest of America's Border Continue While Obama Plays

By Glenn Spencer

Could Mexico retake the southwestern United States? Not only are the Mexicans capable, but an invasion is underway, insists immigration expert Glenn Spencer.

In this well-documented video, Spencer unveils the aims of a radical movement that identifies itself as "America's Palestinians." Their ultimate goal is to reclaim the American Southwest, including California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and parts of Colorado and Texas. Hispanic activists refer to the former Mexican territory as Aztlan, the mythical place of origin of the Aztec people.

This is not merely the irrational scheme of some fringe group. Using original footage, Spencer shows how the pronouncements of Mexican officials and their policies support a reconquest of the Southwest. Perhaps even more importantly, Spencer contends, U.S. immigration policies and lax enforcement are paving the way for this invasion.

Click below to watch an interview with Glenn Spencer, the creator of "The Conquest of Aztlan".

In Conquest of Aztlan you'll see how:

  • Former Mexican President Ernesto Zedillo made a de facto declaration of war on the U.S.
  • The Mexican government helped quash an immigration measure passed by the people of California.
  • A fifth column of subversives is plotting to recolonize the United States.
  • Mexican officials prepare citizens to invade the U.S.
  • Mexican anti-Americanism revealed itself after the Sept. 11 attack.
  • Immigrants in the U.S. are encouraged to vote in the interests of Mexico.
  • U.S. policies ultimately are leading to a breakup of the country.

Glenn Spencer is president of California-based Voice of Citizens Together and host of the popular talk show American Patrol.

The harsh treatment and racist attitudes toward Mexicans and Mexican Americans is only causing more resentment among the Hispanic population and radicalizing us. Since many Americans don't want to co-exist. Many Mexicans feel that they should reclaim the land that rightfully belongs to them.

When you things like this… you know this is true!

"You  old white people.  It is your duty to  die."
HISPANIC  LEADERS SPEAK OUT

Augustin  Cebada,  Brown Berets; "Go back to  Boston !  Go back to  Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims!  Get out!  We are the  future.  You are old and tired.  Go on.  We  have beaten you.  Leave like beaten rats.  You old  white people.  It is your duty to die.  Through  love of having children, we are going to take  over.

Richard  Alatorre,  Los Angeles City Council. "They're  afraid we're going to take over the governmental  institutions and other institutions.  They're  right.  We will take them over . . . We are here to  stay."

Excelsior, the national  newspaper of  Mexico , "The American Southwest seems to  be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of  Mexico   without firing a single shot."

Professor  Jose Angel Gutierrez,  University of   Texas ; "We have an aging white  America .  They  are not making babies.  They are dying.  The  explosion is in our population . . . I love it.  They  are shitting in their pants with fear.  I love  it."

Art Torres, Chairman of the  California Democratic Party, "Remember 187--proposition to  deny taxpayer funds for services to non-citizens--was the  last gasp of white  America in  California   ."

Gloria Molina, Los Angeles  County Supervisor, "We are politicizing every single one of  these new citizens that are becoming citizens of this  country . . ... I gotta tell you that a lot of people are  saying, "I'm going to go out there and vote because I want  to pay them back."

Mario Obledo,  California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and  California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare  under Governor Jerry Brown, also awarded the Presidential  Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton, "   California is going to be a Hispanic state.  Anyone who  doesn't like it should leave."
Jose  Pescador Osuna, Mexican Consul General, "We are  practicing 'La Reconquista' in California   .."

Professor Fernando  Guerra,  Loyola  Marymount   University ; "We need to avoid a white backlash by using  codes understood by Latinos . . . "

WHEN I WAS YOUNG:

When I  was young, I remember hearing about the immigrants that came  through    Ellis Island ..  They wanted  to learn English.  They wanted to breathe free.   They wanted to become Americans.  Now too many  immigrants come here with demands.  They demand to be  taught in their own language.  They demand special  privileges--affirmative action.  They demand ethnic  studies that glorify their culture.

HOW CAN  YOU HELP?:
Send copies of this letter to at  least two other people, 100 would be even better.  Help  us get the word out.

Remember  when you vote next year that we need someone in the  White House who will balance the budget and control illegal immigration.  If we make all illegals,  legal, then we have lost our country forever.   Liberalism will have won and you will have a one party  system forever.  Redistribution of wealth will be  the law.  It is called socialism.  Our  country is heading in the wrong direction and we are  doing it to ourselves without serious  protest.

ALL  AMERICANS SHOULD BE DISTURBED, VERY DISTURBED BY  THIS.  WHAT A SHAME, THAT NOT ENOUGH  AMERICANS HAVE THE BACK BONE TO STAND UP AND  SAY,  "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH".  IT IS TIME  WE TOOK OUR COUNTRY  BACK!
