JPFO Alert: NY Gun Confiscation Underway

Manasquan, NJ -- Remember all those who denied that firearms confiscation as a result of New York's new gun laws was too "insane" to even consider?

That it was strictly in the realm of paranoid conspiracy theorists and the "it can’t happen here crowd"?

Those were and remain some of the standard replies to anyone who even thought about the possibility, let alone gave voice to it, despite the fact that Gov Cuomo and numerous other officials made public comments about such a plan, as I discussed in my article "Feinstein & Cuomo Admit Planning Australian Style Government Gun Buy Back" .

Elected Officials, the media, various Gun Control Groups and their zealous forced disarmament supporters, even some firearms owners themselves all insisted it was to crazy to even consider.

There's just one huge problem it is happening now in New York State!

It seems those that tried desperately to warn of such an insidious plot had hit the bullseye with their warnings after all. News came from multiple NY State based firearms enthusiast websites late Friday that confiscations of Pistol Owner ID Cards, as well as firearms and accessories has commenced in NY under the provisions of the horribly flawed, draconian and blatantly unconstitutional NY SAFE Act.

Those folks having their weapons and FID cards confiscated have been discovered to have been prescribed multiple different types of psychotropic drugs, such as those for Depression or Anxiety. These are known as SSRI ( Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) class drugs and have the potential to cause serious and adverse side effects, something I wrote about extensively last week in an article that went viral in days and caused multiple Anti Gun and Progressive News Groups to initiate a concentrated denial of service hacker attack against Ammoland Shooting Sports News (see Daily KOS "Keeping Track Of The RKBA Crowd " http://tiny.cc/ug67uw), in an effort to keep the information from the public.

From NY- NY Fire Armshttp://tiny.cc/nyfirearms

"John Doe, an upstanding professional with no outstanding criminal convictions and no history of violent action received a letter from the Pistol Permit Department informing him that his license was immediately revoked upon information that he was seeing a therapist for anxiety and had been prescribed an anxiety drug. He was never suicidal, never violent, and has no criminal history. The New York State Department of Health is apparently conducting a search of medical records to determine who is being treated for anxiety drugs and using this as a basis for handgun license revocation.

Now, before anyone trots out the old saw about how this is nothing more then a paranoid, unsubstantiated rumor on a "gun nuts" internet forum. I spoke to the Attorney of Record in this matter on the phone this morning and he confirmed that the above snippet is accurate and these cases are happening!

James Tresmond Esq confirmed in our conversation that the above mentioned case is occurring in Erie County NY, it is his client that has been effected, and as yet unknown sources have seen fit to take it upon themselves to share confidential medical records with NY State Officials without authorization, a massive HIPPA violation.

It seems these supposedly confidential records are then compared against a list of known NY pistol license holders and letters are sent out demanding their Pistol Owner ID Cards be surrendered, as well as any firearms and accessories.

This is an unprecedented violation of a Citizens 2nd, 4th, and 5th Amendment RIGHTS, brought to fruition by power and control hungry tyrants holding elected office who swore an Oath to uphold and defend the very rights they are now actively stripping from their constituents.

Moreover, the confiscation efforts underway in NY State have had another, albeit unintended effect. By undertaking this course of action, those in power have inadvertently pulled back the curtain on something they have suppressed from the Citizens for far to long, leaving them with precious little wiggle room to explain away their actions.

· Either they are acknowledging that there is in fact some sort of little reported link between the prescribing of psychotropic drugs and violent behavior, thus they are somehow, at least in their own minds "justified" in their actions to preempt someone from violence.

· Or, this is nothing more then a backdoor confiscation effort and massive abuse of governmental power unleashed on innocent Citizens.

James Tresmond

Those are the only two possible explanations.

If anyone still feels some level of doubt regarding the veracity of this story, Attorney Tresmond welcomes anyone to visit his website tresmondlaw.com, Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/james.tresmond.7 ), or email to TresmondLaw@gmail.com.

Mr. Tresmond asks that those making inquiries be mindful and respectful of the fact that they have been deluged with inquiries in recent days and therefore a personal reply may be delayed or impossible due to the volume.

"… their real goal isn't disarming the criminals but disarming everyone they view as potential political opposition. Some segments of gun control are aimed at producing a local electoral majority, the prime example being the Colorado bills that would cause enough pro-gun people to move out of the state to ensure a long-term Democrat majority. Others are aimed at disarming the "most probably enemy" population groups, and both political parties are guilty of that to some extent, though the Democratic party does it far more."

Communist Party Endorses Obama While Bloomberg and Soros Rally Obama Youth

ELECTION 2012

Yikes! Look who just endorsed Obama for 4 more years

Accuses GOP of 'racism, lies, economic sabotage'

Barack Obama at a presidential debate at Hofstra University in New York.

It may be early in the campaign season, but the Communist Party USA already has seen fit to endorse Barack Obama for the 2012 election.

While noting he is disappointed with "some aspects" of the Obama administration's domestic and foreign policy, Sam Webb, chairman of the Communist Party USA, threw his support behind Obama's re-election bid.

In an article last week at People's Weekly World, the official newspaper of the Communist Party USA, Webb discussed the need for a third party consisting of the so-called working class and labor as well as "racially and nationally oppressed people, women, youth, immigrants, seniors, gay and straight."

Webb, however, recognized that such a party is not likely to emerge by next year.

"Millions who have to be at the core of this party still operate under the umbrella of the Democratic Party, albeit increasingly in an independent fashion," he noted.

Webb said that for communists there are major differences between Democrats and Republicans. He urged his supporters to continue to back the Democrats.

Wrote Webb: "Neither party is anti-capitalist, but they aren't identical either. Differences exist at the levels of policy and social composition. And despite the many frustrations of the past two years, the election of Barack Obama was historic and gave space to struggle for a people's agenda."

(Story continues below)

He argued that to separate from the Democrats now "would be contrary to our strategic policy of building maximum unity against right-wing extremism now and in next year's elections."

Continued Webb: "We are keenly aware of the fact that the agenda of the far right is to bring this administration and country to its knees, with a heavy dose of racism, lies and economic sabotage, setting the stage for a full blown return to power of the most reactionary, racist, anti-labor, anti-women, homophobic and militarist grouping in U.S. politics."

"We want no part of that," wrote Webb. "We don't have any illusions about the Democratic Party, but we don't have any illusions about the Republican Party either."

Webb concluded: "Furthermore, we are also aware of the undeniable fact that no other party besides the Democratic Party stands a chance of beating the GOP next year."

Communist party covers up support for Obama

Last November, the Communist Party USA was caught scrubbing its website of references that stated it "actively supported" President Obama's election, as WND reported.

An article posted on the party's official website on Dec. 30, 2007, previously stated, "Our Party actively supported Obama during the primary election."

The article was referring to Obama's 2004 election to the Senate. It detailed how the African-American community and trade unionists played key roles in defeating the "ultra right."

Screen shot of original article

"This was also reflected in the historic election of Barack Obama. Our Party actively supported Obama during the primary election," stated the article, a screen shot of which was captured by the New Zeal blog. The website has since been scrubbed of the reference to the Community Party USA aiding Obama, with the article now reading simply, "This was reflected in the historic election of Barack Obama."

WND previously reported the official magazine of the Communist Party USA had lauded the important role of labor unions in electing Obama to the presidency in 2008.

The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, or AFL-CIO, sponsored a poll showing union members supported Obama by a 68-30 margin and strongly influenced their family members. According to the survey, Obama won among white men who are union members by 18 points. Union gun-owners backed Obama by 12 points, while union veterans voted for Obama by a 25-point margin. In the general population, Obama lost these groups by significant margins.

Political Affairs, the Community Party USA's magazine, quoted AFL-CIO President John Sweeney, a longtime member of the Boston chapter of the Democrat Socialists for America, expressing hope labor unions can continue working with Obama.

"The election is just step one in delivering the change we need," Sweeney said. "Working men and women are poised to keep the energy pumping to help the Obama administration lead the change we need. There will be no gap or letdown."

The communist magazine said priorities for labor unions are "regulating Wall Street and restoring fairness to international trade," as well as "health-care reform" to provide coverage to "nearly 50 million people without insurance and make medical care affordable for all."

Communists map out Obama agenda

Immediately following the November 2008 presidential election,WND reported the Communist Party USA mapped out policies crucial for Obama to push through in his first term, including a "single payer" socialist health-care system ;laws to make joining a labor union easier; raising the minimum wage and increasing labor union support.

In May 2009,WND reported the leader of the Communist Party USA declared that with Obama as president, health care and the economy can be "reformed," U.S. troops can be evacuated from the Middle East, a second stimulus bill can be passed, the criminal justice system can be overhauled and union rights can be expanded.

"All these – and many other things – are within our reach now!" exclaimed Webb in a New York banquet speech for the People's Weekly World, the official newspaper of the Communist Party USA.

Bloomberg and Soros Commit $60-Million to Program for Minority Youths (sounds good on surface but really brainwashing new robots)

Video:  Mayor Bloomberg's Plan To Help Minority Youths Be Part Of The American Dream

August 4, 2011, 10:18 am

New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and the hedge-fund tycoon George Soros have pledged $30-million each for a far-reaching new effort to improve educational and economic prospects for the city’s young black and Latino men, writes The New York Times.

The gifts from the two billionaire philanthropists will be part of a three-year, nearly $130-million City Hall-run program, which the mayor is to formally announce Thursday.

City officials say black and Latino men aged 16 to 24 are in crisis by nearly every socioeconomic measure, including arrest rates, school suspensions, and poverty.

The program, to start this fall, will significantly expand efforts to train them and place them in jobs, track their academic progress, reduce repeat imprisonments, and improve child-rearing skills.

Mr. Bloomberg asked Mr. Soros to match his donation at a lunch a few weeks ago.

“When the mayor approached us, he was knocking on an open door,” said Mr. Soros, who has contributed millions of dollars to programs to help black men in other cities.

Soros and Bloomberg donate to many charities… but there is always an agenda! Watch the other hand!

Soros to Quit Hedge Fund and Return to Cash Investors

Bloomberg is reporting some interesting news regarding George Soros: he’s quitting.

The outlet says that the liberal billionaire financier is dissolving the non-family aspect of his hedge fund that put him on the monetary map:

[T]he billionaire best known for breaking the Bank of England, is returning money to outside investors in his $25.5 billion firm [and is] ending a career as hedge-fund manager that spanned more than four decades.

Soros, who turns 81 next month, will hand back the money, less than $1 billion, by the end of the year, according to two people briefed on the matter. His firm will focus on managing assets solely for Soros and his family, according to a letter to investors. Keith Anderson, 51, chief investment officer since February 2008, is leaving, said the letter, signed by Soros’s sons Jonathan and Robert, who are co-deputy chairmen.

The news raises a plethora of questions — mainly, why? According to Bloomberg, the family didn’t want to adhere to SEC reporting mandates that would have forced the fund to divulge information about its investors:

Soros’s sons said they took the decision because new financial regulations would have made it necessary for the firm to register with the Securities and Exchange Commission by March 2012 if it continued to manage money for outsiders. [...]

The rule calls for hedge funds with more than $150 million in assets to report information about their investors and employees, the assets they manage, potential conflicts of interest and their activities outside of fund advising. Registered funds will also be subject to periodic inspections by the SEC.

“We have relied until now on other exemptions from registration which allowed outside shareholders whose interests aligned with those of the family investors to remain invested in Quantum,” the executives said in the letter to executives, referring to its flagship Quantum Endowment Fund. “As those other exemptions are no longer available under the new regulations, Soros Fund Management will now complete the transition to a family office that it began eleven years ago.”

Still, there are plenty more questions. Is Soros wanting to concentrate on his politically-charged donations? Why just over a year from the election? Does this mark his formal transition from businessman to political activist?

The country might be wise to remember a phrase oft-repeated by Glenn Beck: “Watch the other hand.”

Source:  The Blaze

I just finished reading Bill O’Reilly’s Pinheads and Patriots and on page 160 O’Reilly points out that George Soros gamed the U.S. elections laws by donating close to $25 Million to more than $500 political organizations, all dedicated to humiliating President George W. Bush.  I knew he had done that, just didn’t have the monetary figure.

Soros gave money to the Clinton, Obama and McCain campaigns.  Before Obama, Hillary was Soros’ girl and you can bet that they are still a team.  If you haven’t, check out: The Shadow Party

Since that time Soros has openly admitted that his goal is to destroy capitalism and the U.S. economy.  Many think he is the puppeteer behind the Obama throne.  He has visited the White House numerous times in the past 2.5 years since Obama has been the resident.

Just think… Soros is now 81-years-old, what better way to go out than my destroying the greatest country on Earth if you consider yourself a “God”. And by getting out of the hedge fund game, he will have both the time and the money.

Bloomberg: SHOCKER - Californians Back Limits On Public Pension Benefits!

When I first saw this headline, I thought to myself "somebody must have mixed up California with another state.'

Thankfully, and quite stunning, is the fact that the headline is accurate; a poll really did make the case that California voters are willing to limit public pension benefits!

This is still difficult to believe. I would be SO happy if this were the case. This news story must be enraging George Soros, Maurice Strong, and the rest of Obama's Puppet masters!

Jared Law – 9/12 Project

Here's the story from Bloomberg:

Californians Back Limits on Public Pension Benefits, Poll Shows

By Christopher Palmeri - Mar 17, 2011 9:00 AM ET

California voters support limits on public-employee pensions by a 3-to-1 margin, according to the Field Poll.

Seventy-three percent of those surveyed favor a cap on the amount of salary used to calculate pension benefits, compared with 20 percent opposed, according to the statewide survey by Field and the University of California, Berkeley, released today. Forty-two percent said the pensions are “too generous,” up from 32 percent two years ago.

“California voters have changed their views in recent years about the pension benefits of state and government workers,” Mark DiCamillo and Mervin Field of San Francisco- based Field Research Corp., said in a statement. In 2009, “more voters believed that the level of pension benefits that most public workers received was acceptable.”

Public pensions have become a flash point across the U.S. as the cost of benefits has risen and government revenue has fallen after the longest recession since the 1930s.

San Francisco’s annual pension costs will double to $1 billion in five years, topping what it now spends on police, fire and other public-safety departments, according to a report by San Franciscans for Pension Reform on March 15.

Voters by wide margins support other changes to public pensions, such as requiring higher worker contributions, increasing the minimum retirement age and adding elements of a 401(k)-style plan that would reduce guaranteed payments, according to the poll.
Only 26 percent would back a temporary tax increase to pay benefits owed, while 67 percent opposed that notion.

Collective Bargaining

Voters rejected, 50 percent to 42 percent, the idea of combining budget-balancing measures with taking away collective bargaining rights for government workers, such as in Wisconsin. Republican state senators had suggested linking their support for Governor Jerry Brown’s proposed tax extension to pension reforms.
The telephone survey of 898 registered voters was conducted in English and Spanish Feb. 28-March 14, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.

THE DICK MORRIS POLL FINDS AMERICAN VOTERS BACK GOVERNORS AGAINST PUBLIC EMPLOYEE UNIONS

Published on DickMorris.com on March 17, 2011

The Dick Morris Poll of 1000 likely voters throughout the U.S., conducted by live telephone interviews from March 10-15, 2011, found support for the Republican Governors of Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio in their battles with their public employee unions by 47-39.

Voters harshly condemned Democratic State Legislators who are boycotting their legislatures to deny the Republicans a quorum so they cannot pass legislation on collective bargaining and municipal unions.  By 61-25, they rejected the Democrats' argument that the boycotts were "necessary to stop legislation restricting unions from being passed" and said they "should return to the legislature and respect the decisions the voters have made in the last election."
Commenting on the poll results, Dick Morris said, "The liberal media has tried to sell the myth that the public is siding with the unions in these battles.  This poll shows the opposite.  They largely agree with the restrictions the governors are trying to impose."

Voter attitudes toward collective bargaining are complex.  They wholeheartedly support the right to collective bargaining by public employees. By 39-59 voters reject elimination of collective bargaining for public employee unions and by 43-48 they oppose limiting the bargaining to wages and benefits.  But, by 66-25, voters agree with limiting "collective bargaining so that the union contract does not stop the dismissal of incompetent teachers and allows teachers to be paid based on merit not on seniority."

For the full results, click here to read the report.

Dick Morris has more than 35 years of polling experience in the U.S. and abroad. He polled for President Clinton and has also has polled for 30 Senators and Governors and 14 foreign Presidents and Prime Ministers.

GM May Need More U.S. Job Cuts as Buyouts Fall Short

Aug. 3 (Bloomberg) -- General Motors Co. may have to cut more U.S. hourly jobs after an offer of buyouts and early retirements fell about 7,500 workers short of the reorganized automaker’s target.

The possibility of layoffs was disclosed today by Sherrie Childers Arb, a spokeswoman, in an interview after GM announced that more than 6,000 United Auto Workers members, or 11 percent of the hourly workforce, left the company on Aug. 1.

GM’s latest voluntary exits pushed the total of U.S. hourly workers leaving through buyouts and retirement offers to about 66,000 since 2006. The biggest domestic automaker is shrinking its workforce to match reductions including the shutdown of 14 U.S. plants and 3 warehouses by the end of 2011.

“It’s not surprising they didn’t reach their goal,” said Dennis Virag, president of Automotive Consulting Group Inc. in Ann Arbor, Michigan. With U.S. unemployment at 9.5 percent in June, “workers are more reluctant to accept a buyout because the prospects for other employment are more challenging.”

GM aims to eliminate 13,500 hourly positions in 2009, trimming that payroll to about 40,500 jobs, said Tom Wilkinson, a spokesman. Detroit-based GM began the year with about 61,000 U.S. hourly jobs and cut that total to about 54,000 at the end of April with buyouts and early retirements.

Moving Jobs

Any layoffs probably wouldn’t total 7,500, Childers Arb said. Some employees are likely to leave on their own or retire rather than relocate once GM shuffles work among its facilities, dropping jobs in some locations while keeping others, she said. GM hasn’t said where the job cuts will take place.

Hourly workers who took the buyout and retirement offers are receiving cash payments of $20,000 to $115,000 as well as $25,000 vehicle vouchers.

Chief Executive Officer Fritz Henderson is also paring the U.S. salaried workforce and chopping its eight domestic brands in half.

GM left a government-backed bankruptcy on July 10 as a new company whose largest shareholder is the U.S. Treasury. Losses at predecessor General Motors Corp. totaled $88 billion since the company last posted an annual profit in 2004.
