NSA Whistleblower Snowden in Exile as the Obama Scandals List Grows

By Marion Algier - AskMarion

Alexis de Tocqueville, the French political thinker and historian who is most famous for his work Democracy in America (paperback), said, “People get the government they deserve.” and there is a similar and well-documented quotation by Joseph de Maistre: "Every country has the government it deserves.”

They are both quotes usually used to explain why our governments (worldwide) are generally pretty awful. The inference is that if people were more careful who they voted for, if they took the time to inform themselves and if more people took the trouble to vote (and get involved in the system) in the first place, we would not have such mediocre or corrupt people in government, and indeed politicians would have to clean up their act and work a lot harder than they do or they would be replaced.

When I was a young student of history, government and politics, I used to think those comments were pretty cynical, but as I have watched and chronicled America’s decline since the Reagan era I have sadly found them to be more true than I ever wanted to believe or admit.

The Great American Experiment, as America is often called, was supposed to prove that the common man could rule himself and America’s Founding Fathers gave us every tool we needed to survive as long as we stayed engaged.  But even with those tools the average American is lost, uninformed and disinterested, even now as they watch the one-time greatest country in the world crashing down around them!

The American people as a whole have given the politicians in Washington D.C., and even locally, carte blanche with little oversight or interest for decades.  A trend that really began as the so-called ‘Greatest Generation’ returned home from war and the inattention and apathy has grown with each generation thereafter, except by those focused on destroying America.   We have allowed ourselves and our children to methodically be dumbed-down, indoctrinated, and manipulated to the point that Pravda, the former propaganda newspaper for the USSR dubbed us Sheeple. We elected and re-elected a president that we still don’t really know and who has ‘always’ surrounded himself with radicals that didn’t like the American system, American ideals or the values of the average American.  And we now find ourselves with a president, his administration and a government in general embroiled in scandal, cover-ups, and over-reach.  Yet half the people still don’t know about or understand the scandals, that the 2012 election probably was stolen and when asked they just say, “Our president, ‘Obama’, is cool.” The other half are losing or have already lost faith in the government, as well as in their low-informed counterparts.

How many scandals are there now?  Benghazi-gate, IRS-gate, NSA-gate, Press-gateSebelius-gate (or ObamaCare-gate), EPA-gate, Fast and Furious, voter/election fraud and the list goes on… now State Dept-gate and maybe Islamist-gate.  They are spying on us and collecting our data without cause or warrants; using czars and Executive Orders to circumvent the Constitution; they arrogantly promote and defend those involved in the corruption and they investigated and suppressed the activities of anyone or group that opposed them to steal an election.  And now courageous whistleblowers and witnesses, who are finally stepping up but are afraid enough that they won’t get a fair trial (or worse), are fleeing the country.  Where is the outrage?

FoxNews:  NSA whistle-blower who sought to 'inform the public' in surveillance risks decades in jail.

The source of the bombshell leaks about the U.S. government gathering information on billions of phone calls and Internet activities risks decades in jail for the disclosures if the U.S. can extradite him from Hong Kong, where he says he has taken refuge after saying his sole motive was to “inform the public.”

We have the elements of a Police State here”- Mark Levin

Daniel Ellsberg, the man who leaked the Pentagon Papers in 1971, fully approves of Edward Snowden's leak about a top-secret National Security Agency surveillance program.

"I'm very impressed by what I've heard in the last couple of hours, including Snowden's own video here. I think he's done an enormous service, incalculable service," Ellsberg said Sunday night on CNN.

As for the surveillance program, Ellsberg said, "I have no doubt that this violates the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution and probably other parts of the Bill of Rights and should have been exposed."

"Can it really be a crime to expose crime?" Ellsberg asked.

HONG KONG (AP) — The American intelligence contractor who disclosed the U.S. government surveillance programs fled to Hong Kong because he believed he wouldn't get a fair trial in his home country.

Snowden says he worked as a contractor at the National Security Agency and the CIA. He allowed both the Guardian and The Washington Post newspapers to reveal his identity on Sunday (06.09.13) as the source of a series of top-secret documents outlining two NSA surveillance programs.  He told the papers if the DOJ indicts him, which seems almost inevitable, that he doesn't really trust the judicial system in the United States to give him a fair trial".  Most would agree that he is right.

One can only ask… wow, has America really fallen that far?  It wasn’t so long ago that those would have headlines expected out of the USSR, not the USA.

Video: Neil Cavuto Erupts Over Democratic Operative's Defense of Government NSA Scandal

Infowars.com:  Fox News host Neil Cavuto and Democratic strategist Julian Epstein erupted at each other on Saturday morning, when Cavuto demanded Epstein see the NSA subpoena as part of a larger pattern of oppressive behavior on the part of the Obama administration. “You see one incident after another that comes up,” Cavuto said. “It all comes back to the same basic issue: privacy invaded or potentially invaded. Institutions of all sorts doing the same thing. There is a pattern.”

Where are men (and women… the Margaret Thatchers of our day) like Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan, presidents/public servants who knew the buck stopped with them, who would have made the tough decisions and taken responsibility? In Obamaland it is everyone’s fault but his.  And when they (present day leaders) do surfacewhy don’t we recognize them?  What has happened to Americans who expected their elected leaders to represent their interests and values and who would have called for the resignations or impeachments of those in power today?

Yet when we look for responsibility and blame we must also add ourselves plus everyone in Congress, government workers and the mainstream media to the list.  How many people voted without knowing who or what they were voting for?  How many parents and grandparents even have knowledge of the anti-American rhetoric being taught in our schools… about the Common C.O.R.E. educational program? How many informed public servants and media have remained silent?  How many have misled or lied under oath?  How many are uninformed themselves?  Did Congress tell us about the PRISM Project… the data centers (Utah) being built and is Congress asking the right questions now?

We, and globally, have already been so programmed that too many Americans actually believe that spying on and droning American citizens is okay. After all most people voluntarily post all their information on social media for the powers that be, and everyone else, to access.   We are being led like sheep(le) to the slaughter.  See: Timeline of revelations about surveillance that sweeps up Americans' phone calls, data  Founding Father Benjamin Franklin said, “He who gives up freedom for safety deserves neither”, yet in an America who no longer knew (knows) her (or world) history, Americans could not wait for “W” and Congress to ram through the Patriot Act after 9/11, which 12-years later has only become ever more intrusive.  People… if the government is watching and monitoring you, it is never good!!  We are living in George Orwell’s 1984… Hear Beck’s emotional 1984 monologue HERE.

America… it is the responsibility of each of us to be informed, to vote for integrity and demand it.  If the America our Founding Fathers left us is to survive, it is up to all of us to take a stand and get involved… today!  Or there won’t be an American tomorrow that you will be comfortable leaving to your children!!  Remember the words of Alexis de Tocqueville, “People get the government they deserve.”  If you don’t inform yourself and get involved, what will you tell you children and grandchildren you were doing when America and freedom was being stolen?

SMART METERS: Another attack on the 4th Amendment - True cost of smart meters might include privacy and health

SMART METERS: Another attack on the 4th Amendment

Video: Smart Meters, Dirty Electricity and Disease

For more info, please visit www.SamMilham.com He has his recent papers posted o...

Marti Oakley
The PPJ Gazette

The total surveillance system known as “SMART GRID” is meeting steady resistance as the public, wary of yet another assault on their privacy and freedom under the guise of some euphemistically named police state program, fight back against the installations of SMART METERS.  The public isn’t buying the “energy efficiency, green solution, this will save you money” propaganda put out by the manufacturers of the meters and the government. Especially when the reports of electric bills tripling and quadrupling after installation of the meters, has become so prevalent.

On the face of many of these meters is the word “Echelon”.  The same name used to identify one of the most unconstitutional spying and wiretapping programs ever devised and used in the war on the American public.

From OPM Security:

ECHELON is a name used in global media and in popular culture to describe a signals intelligence (SIGINT) collection and analysis network operated on behalf of the five signatory states to the UK-USA Security Agreement (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, known as AUSCANZUKUS). It has also been described as the only software system which controls the download and dissemination of the intercept of commercial satellite trunk communications.”

Note: Whether this similarity in names is coincidental or intentional, the name Echelon evokes a queazy, sick feeling in the gut as this notriously unconstitutional program is an outward manifestation of the war against the people of the US by their own government.

ITRON, one of the major players in the SMART METER/SMART GRID scam, claims along with the infamous PG&E that is currently assaulting the citizens in various states, that there are no hazardous health affects from the meters.  They claim there exists, no evidence of such a hazard.  What they are actually telling you is:

  • Either they didn’t study the health affects,
  • They did, but aren’t releasing that information as it would damage their market.
  • They refused to look at any studies done regarding the health hazards. Or,
  • They are fully aware of the hazards and could care less.  The most likely option in my estimation.

The evidence used to support the claim that the meters pose no hazard to health is based on the testing of the radiation and radio frequency against a 6’2”, 200 lb. man at 6-20 ft. This test standard is that used and formulated by the FCC.  Unfortunately for this piece of propaganda put out by manufacturers and government alike, the meters are attached to the wall of your house and the distance between you and the meter can be as little as 8”. Any tests done at this distance?  No?  I wonder why not?  Did the FCC question their contorted use of this standard?  No so much, it appears.

The EMF Safety Network reports this:  “The meters are assessed for safety compliance in isolation, not in a mesh network, in which they are designed to operate, or in combination with multiple meters, or other sources of RF such as wi-fi, DECT phones, cell phones, cell towers, baby monitor etc.”

So, while never mentioning that the safety compliance tests were done in isolation, and, that these tests sited were not ever at any time actually conducted on smart meters the FCC, EPA, FDA, USDA and a host of other dysfunctional federal corporations are giving their blessings.  Although, why the FDA and USDA would be involved in anything to do with these meters remains a mystery.

EMF SAFETY NETWORK continues:

Smart Meters are radio transmitters, sending radiofrequency microwave radiation (RF) signals from both electric and gas meters. The electric meter has two transmitters. One RF signal is sent directly into your home (or business), and the other to a neighborhood data collector, which could be located on a lamppost, telephone pole, building or a home.  Homes will also be used as repeaters for neighborhood RF signals.”

“Sent directly into your home” should have the hair standing up on your head.  This is an invasion of privacy; a system to spy on you inside your home to detect what you are doing and when and how many times. Any change in pattern uses for any reason could elicit a home inspection invasion to discern just what you are doing.

Now look at this from the perspective of this document and reported by www.W4AR.com

Bio-effects of selected non-lethal weapons

Army report from Ft. Meade  2006 science … RF radio waves are variable … can cause giddiness to nausea, to loss of consciousness …   to “disruption of working memory” and to ” cause “sensation of buzzing, ticking, hissing or knocking sounds that originate within or immediately behind the head.”

Page 12  … “It is anticipated that 100% of the population would be susceptible. The mechanism is one that could act on many individual neuronal cells concurrently and hence does not depend on spreading regions of electrical activity as in the disease state.”

Page 13 … “Because this technology is considered to be tunable, the influence on subjects could vary from mild disruption of concentration to muscle spasms and loss of consciousness.”

Page 15 … “the perception of sickness may make a subject susceptible to persuasion”.

SMART GRID/SMART METERS can and do cause hormonal system disruptions, tinnitus, memory problems, dizziness, slurred speech, intentionally induced muscle spasms, heart palpitations, lethargy, unconsciousness, disorientation, memory loss, confusion, and an increase in cancer, among many other symptoms.  A reading of the pdf document above from 2006 indicates that these symptoms are exactly what was intended and now they have found the perfect way to impose this system of electrical incarceration and threat, right in your home or business.  No one will be or would be safe from this electronic surveillance system, much less saving one dime in energy costs or using energy more efficiently.

One carefully avoided point in this is that regardless of how you adjust the time frames in which you perform various household activities, you will be using the very same amount of power!  This is not about energy conservation or efficiency.

Public Health Physician Warns of Smart Meter Dangers, Stresses Need for Analog Option

Dr. David Carpentar a former head of the New York State Department of Public Health, now the director of theUniversity of Albany’s Institute for Health and the Environment asks:

“What is the evidence that smart meters are safe and have no adverse health effects? The answer to that question is that there is no such evidence.

And in fact, while no one has done human health studies in relation to people living in homes with smart meters, we have evidence from a whole variety of other sources… that demonstrates convincingly and consistently that exposure to radiofrequency radiation at elevated levels for long periods of time increases the risk of cancer, increases the damage to the nervous system, causes electro-sensitivity, has adverse reproductive effects and a variety of other effects on different organ systems.

So there is no justification for the statement that smart meters have no adverse health effects.  The smart meter is for the benefit of the utility… and at the expense of the consumer, who has to live in the house that has this constant exposure.”

If you actually read the Ft.Meade document, you can see that the intent of these meters and the SMART GRID system has nothing to do with energy efficiency or helping you conserve energy.  This is not only a surveillance system, it is a virtual electronic prison which poses a massive threat to your privacy and your health.

The SMART GRID system is meant to cover Canada, the US and Mexico.  This is one of the main tenets of the North American Union, planned and envisioned under the Bush/Cheney cartel.  SMART GRID will make the obliteration of our national border and the subsequent revealing of the North American Union, a reality.

US Census

Most people have gotten their Census over the past few days and many are shocked at all of the questions.
Many are wondering what they have to legally answer…  Tip: On #9 for Race - Check the "Other" box and write in "AMERICAN". I heard that on Rush today.

Here are some answers and tips from Judge Andrew Napolitano on the Census Questions:

Most people are aware that our Constitution calls for “counting” us every ten years. No problem. But, as most of us have discovered to our concern and dismay, our Federal Government has overreached their Constitutional authority in nearly every aspect of our lives. They do it by shredding the Constitution and enacting statutes that cannot be supported by the Constitution. Now is the time to challenge them in one the most peaceful methods of Civil Disobedience.

Please join millions in preventing this continued Federal Government overreach and be prepared by knowing your rights and to handle the situation. If you have children in our lovely Government-run schools, talk with them about their rights and make sure they understand you don’t give away private information as they are using the schools to gather data as well. And, on college campuses they are using incentives to get students to give up their rights. Educate your children.

REMEMBER, GOVERNMENT MUST HAVE CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY AND IF THEY CANNOT SUPPORT THEIR DEMANDS BY THE CONSTITUTION, THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO PRIE INTO YOUR PRIVATE LIFE – ASKING YOU QUESTIONS YOU WOULD NEVER TELL A STRANGER, YOUR NEIGHBORS AND MANY FAMILY MEMBERS.

They can threaten to fine you and even quote unconstitutional Statutes, but they cannot follow through on the threats because they know it violates the Constitution. If they threaten you, say “fine, just send me the paperwork fining me which I will in turn use to sue the Federal Government for violating my Constitutional Rights.” They’ve gotten away with a lot because of threats and intimidation. Don’t let them succeed!

To prepare yourself:

1. Decide now that the ONLY question you will answer is Head Count. When you receive the form, answer only Question 1 and mail it back. You have fulfilled your Constitutional duty.

2. Obtain a copy of the Constitution and highlight the section. It’s Article 1, Section 2, Clause 3. “The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.”

Note: “as they shall by Law direct” does not mean they can ask more questions. It only means how the law directs they obtain the head count.

3. If you receive phone calls or a personal visit from a Census worker, be prepared with the Constitution and some questions of your own. Turn the tables on them. Be polite and professional. A lot of these people are young people just doing a job to earn some money. Just stand firm in your convictions and you may educate a young person about his or her own rights.

4. Here are the questions, depending on what they say to you:

QUESTION: The Constitution authorizes the government to obtain a head count of the number of people living in the U.S. every ten years, but does not authorize the taking of private information including names of individuals. I fulfilled my constitutional duty and told you how many people live at this dwelling. From where does the Census Bureau derive Constitutional authority to demand personal information?

QUESTION: The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution prohibits government search and seizure of private information without a court warrant based on probable cause. Current Census Bureau policies violate that Amendment, do they not?

QUESTION: By what Constitutional authority does the Census Bureau threaten penalties for failure to provide personal information, which violates the Fourth Amendment?

THERE IS NO CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY FOR THE “AMERICAN COMMUNITY SURVEY” WHATSOEVER WHICH THEY ARE NOW SENDING TO 250,000 EVERY MONTH.
You do NOT have to answer that at all and should refuse to mail it back, talk to them on the phone or answer the door.

QUESTION: What Constitutional Authority does the Census Bureau have to collect information every month of every year from private citizens? (and repeat your statement above about the Fourth Amendment).

Further Statement which you can send back with the Census form only answering Question 1: "I hereby affirm that the provisions of Title 13 ....requiring me to disclose my race, personal financial data, birth date, or any other personal, Private information to the Bureau of the Census, an agency of the United States government, constitutes an unreasonable, unwarranted search of my person, house, papers, and/or effects, and a governmental invasion of the sanctity of my home and the privacies of life. As such, these provisions violate the Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution, and are thus wholly void and I am not bound to obey them.
I have completed the only those sections of the Census form pertaining to the Constitutionally-mandated actual enumeration. I have thus fulfilled my obligation to the attainment of the actual enumeration of the populace of the United States.

Any fine or other sanction that is levied by any office or organization stemming from the unconstitutional provisions of Title 13 in connection with my response to this or any other Census-related questioning will be challenged in a court of law."

We must hold the Federal Government accountable to the Constitution and this is one of the best ways to take a stand for the Bill of Rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.
