Glenn was joined today by Martin Luther King Jr’s niece, Dr. Alveda King and Texas GOP Congressional Candidate and Pastor Stephen Broder, Dallas TX. Alveda has joined Glenn Beck on his show several times this past year.
The niece of Martin Luther King Jr. clarifies what her uncle believed in and didn’t. She states very clearly that he fought for love and equality of and for people of all races, creeds, religions and colors. She also states clearly that her uncle was a Christian and not a Marxist or Socialist. He was 100% against violence and the promotion of hate… like promoted last week by the “New Black Panther Party” and also against the collective socialism preached and being used by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Black Liberation Theology and Obama.

FNC - By Glenn Beck
It's time to set the record straight on what the civil rights movement was really about versus what progressives and radicals want you to think it was about. It was about human rights. But let me show you how the movement has been perverted and distorted.
You've got folks like the Rev. Al Sharpton telling everyone that Martin Luther King's dream was really about redistributing wealth:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
REV. AL SHARPTON: Someone was saying to me the other day, Reverend Sharpton, we've got an African-American president. We've achieved the dream of Dr. King. And I told him, that was not Dr. King's dream. He's a great man. I've been working with the president and supported the president. But the dream was not to put one black family in the White House. The dream was to make everything equal in everybody's house.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
You've got the NAACP telling everyone that King was a socialist and that we wouldn't be celebrating Martin Luther King Day if we really knew who he was. Listen closely to what the chairman of the NAACP recently said:
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
JULIAN BOND, NAACP CHAIR: We don't remember the King who was the critic of capitalism, who said to Charles Fager when they were in jail together in Selma in 1965 that he thought a modified form of socialism would be the best system for the United States. We don't remember the Martin Luther King who talked ceaselessly about taking care of the masses and not just dealing with the people at the top of the ladder. So we've kind of anesthetized him. We've made him into a different kind of person than he actually was in life. And it may be that that's one reason he's so celebrated today because we celebrate a different kind of man than really existed. But he was a bit more radical. Not terribly, terribly radical but a bit more radical than we make him out to be today.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
They're trying to paint King as a radical. But one guy doesn't think King was radical enough: SEIU's Andy Stern doesn't think the civil rights legend helped create "real change." In 2004, Stern told The Washington Post that "pressure is needed [to bring about real change.] It was not enough to have Martin Luther King, Jr.... You need Stokely Carmichael."
So he's saying Martin Luther King couldn't have accomplished what he did without people like Stokely Carmichael, who was the honorary prime minister of the Black Panther Party. So the Black Panthers brought about real change? Carmichael was known for coining the term "black power." So Stern thinks you need civil unrest to meet demands.
Who else is trying to raise the threat of disruption to have demands met now? Oh yes, the New Black Panthers:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DR. MALIK ZULU SHABAZZ, CHAIRMAN OF THE NEW BLACK PANTHER PARTY: We'll see Glenn Beck on August 27 on the National Monument. The New Black Panther Party will see him there. Since he is attacking us nightly and he won't talk to us. We will him on the National Monument at the National Mall.

It's actually on August 28.
Racism is being used as a tactic for political gain.
The NAACP is now trying to intimidate Tea Partiers, passing a resolution to condemn quote "racist elements" in the party. I do not believe that racism is a white man's problem or a black man's problem or a Hispanic problem.
Racism is a human problem.
They are now trying to divide us into black and white, not unite us into one human race like Dr. King did in the '60s. It is our responsibility to protect the rights granted by God that King fought for the government to recognize and tonight we are going to talk about those rights.

Pastor Broder affirmed that Collectivism and collective salvation… social justice and economic justice is a perversion of the gospel. It is Marxist doctrine. It is not Christian doctrine! Kings dream was for equal access not

For anyone who has not followed this… the two thugs that the DOJ an Holder are not prosecuting… one of whom professed that he hated all white people and that they should be killed are members of the New Black Panther Party and their leadership has attacked Glenn Beck and said in a threatening tone that they… the Panthers, would be at Glenn’s 8/28 Freedom Event. Glenn invited them to participate peaceably. The NAACP backed the Panthers, Holdren and the Obama Administration.
Dr. Alveda King will be in Washington D.C. at the Restoring Honor event to stand with Glenn and the American Patriots that choose to join them. Be there if you possibly can!! Free at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial. At 10a.m. 8.28.10
Let the love of the Lord be your weapon… America has strayed too far from her roots and from God, and that is why we find ourselves where we are.
It Is Time For Us Us To Make Choices!
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chron. 7:14
Fail: Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell, Phase Two?
You can call me radical and extreme if you want,
but examine the “values” most liberals flaunt.
Then tell me I’m wrong and that my diagnosis.
has evolved from bigotry and paranoid psychosis.
Will future historians look back with a smirk,
and diagnose our decline as “democracy at work”?
Will the absolute, unfettered “freedom of choice”,
which silenced “late term” and the innocent’s voice,
be deemed the “seedling” -, of “don’t ask and don’t tell” –,
which “widened the crack in the Liberty Bell”?
It was through that crack gay marriage took root,
thus “freedom of choice was now absolute”!
Will the future historians be forced to conclude,
that “dames wedding dames and dudes wedding dudes”,
led to legitimizing –, rape –, incest —, and bestiality,
as America was “force marched” to it’s doom and finality?
Marched over the brink and smashed to pieces,
via incest with aunts, uncles, sisters, bothers, cousins, nephews and nieces?
That is “Phase Two” of “don’t ask and don’t tell”,
that lawyers will litigate till “ice freezes in Hell”!
When nothing is Sacred and “anything goes”,
and no moral restraints on the “Jills and the Joes”,
civilization’s not civil and “debauchery rules”,
a nation of lawyers populated by fools.
Debauchery keeps stretching legal loopholes ever wider,
Debauchery, not decency is the ultimate decider.
A nation where Satan can sue the Creator,
and then share the spoils with a “law degreed traitor,
while “sneaking kickbacks to the A C L U”,
which provides the motive and incentive to sue.
The A C L U —, litigated new rules,
Now kids cannot whisper a prayer in school.
The “Pledge of Allegiance is forbidden as well.
but the courts are protecting “don’t ask and don’t tell”.
The National Anthem is in imminent peril,
And God forbid —, the Christmas Carol?
And veterans can’t fly the flag where they choose,
that always light’s some trial lawyer’s fuse.
Perhaps some day real “justice will jell”
When all lawyers must practice “don’t ask, don’t tell”
They keep “smearing mud on America’s face”,
Though I am fed up–, I now “rest my case”!

“You cannot build a strong house of love if the foundation is build on hate. Planned Parenthood was build by the Progressives who believed in Eugenics…” Dr. Alveda King
PRINCIPLES OF NON VIOLENCE
Dr. Martin Luther King
1. Nonviolence is not passive, but requires courage.
2. Nonviolence seeks reconciliation, not defeat of an adversary.
3. Nonviolent action is directed at eliminating evil, not destroying an evil doer
4. A willingness to accept suffering for the cause, if necessary, but never inflict it.
5. A rejection of hatred, animosity or violence of the spirit as well as refusal to commit physical violence.
6. Faith that justice will prevail.
When Blacks, who have been fed by the Progressives and groups promoting hate ask her why she is standing with Glenn Beck, Dr. Alveda King asks them what they really know about Glenn Beck; if they have watched his show; if they can find anything offensive on the 8/28 Restoring Honor Event site; and to read he end of her uncle’s “I Have a Dream Speech”…
The End of Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech:
And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual,
"Free at last, free at last.
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last."
---------------
This is my prayer and hope for you
From One of My Patriot Friends
And THIS is a prayer I have said out loud over myself many times. There is quite a blessing when you do it out loud, at least I have noticed.
I arise today, through God's strength to pilot me:
God's might to uphold me, God's wisdom to guide me,
God's eye to look before me, God's ear to hear me,
God's word to speak for me, God's hand to guard me,
God's way to lie before me, God's shield to protect me,
God's host to secure me:
against snares of devils, against temptations of vices,
against inclinations of nature, against everyone who
shall wish me ill, afar and anear, alone and in a crowd.
I summon today all these powers between me (and these evils):
against every cruel and merciless power that may oppose my body and my soul,
against incantations of false prophets,
against black laws of heathenry,
against false laws of heretics, against craft of idolatry,
against spells of witches and smiths and wizards,
against every knowledge that endangers man's body and soul.
Christ to protect me today
against poison, against burning, against drowning,
against wounding, so that there may come abundance of reward.
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right,
Christ on my left, Christ in breadth, Christ in length,
Christ in height, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.
I arise today through a mighty strength,
the invocation of the Trinity,
through belief in the Threeness,
through confession of the Oneness
of the Creator of creation.
Salvation is of the Lord.
Salvation is of Christ.
May Thy Salvation, O Lord, be ever with us.
