Although the ultimate attack on the youth of America will be much greater than what probably occurs to most students, initially after some thought, they will realize that the taking over of the Student Loan Industry (Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009) has nothing to do with lowering their costs or helping them financially.
The takeover and inclusion thereof in the ObamaCare Bill initially seems like an odd pairing. But the reasoning behind and plan for this double economic and power dip has always been part of the ObamaCare plan so that the interest on the student loans, which will be higher than it has previously been under private administration, will be used to feed the behemoth government healthcare takeover, as well as other Obama initiatives.
It is estimated that the average student will be paying approximately $1,800 to $2,000 more in interest for their loans than they would have under the old system. Add this to the requirement of ObamaCare that everyone carry expensive health insurance after these students leave their parent's policies at age 26 or pay fines to the federal government will leave these students strapped as they begin their careers and possibly marriages and families.
At that point they will probably be offered the exchange of some loan forgiveness for service in Obama Youth programs of some type pushing social justice and other Progressive ideas and edicts.
As time passes it is expected that loans and rates (and who receives them) could very well be tied to the families' and students' political affiliations, religion, school choices and choices of majors. Increased federal control of courses and class curriculum will certainly be in our and our children's futures if this change is not repealed.
There is nothing positive in the government's takeover of student loans for anyone but the government.
Please call your Senators and Congressman and urge a repeal of this process and takeover; regardless of what is happening with the ObamaCare challenges.
Should this legislation stand, it could leave a bitter taste in the mouth of many students... who are not yet a product of the coming Progressive indoctrination programs. We can only hope that it opens their eyes before the next election and into the future.

(If you stop to think about the amount of money now available to the Obama administration with four years of funds for healthcare coming in while no HC is being delivered and the interest on student loans, the possibilities for misuse are staggering. It certainly points to another reason they were so focused on forcing this legislation on the American people.)
