Senior Center Orders Seniors To Stop Praying Before Meals

Because the meals are funded by federal tax dollars, and there’s that “separation of church and state” stuff that, uh, doesn’t actually appear in the Constitution anywhere.

First they make us dependent on government. Then they use that dependency to control us.

PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. — Preston Blackwelder proudly showed off a painting of his grandmother that had hung next to the front door of his Port Wentworth home.
She was the woman who led him to God, Blackwelder said Friday.
And with that firm religious footing, Blackwelder said it would be preposterous to stop praying before meals at Port Wentworth’s Ed Young Senior Citizens Center near Savannah because of a federal guideline.
“She would say pray anyway,” Blackwelder said of his grandmother. “She’d say don’t listen.”
But Senior Citizens Inc. officials said Friday the meals they are contracted by the city to provide to Ed Young visitors are mostly covered with federal money, which ushers in the burden of separating church and state. …
Tim Rutherford, Senior Citizens Inc. vice president, said some of his staff recently visited the center and noticed people praying shortly before lunch was served. Rutherford said his company provides meals like baked chicken, steak tips and rice and salads at a cost of about $6 a plate. Seniors taking the meals pay 55 cents and federal money foots the rest of the bill, Rutherford said.
“We can’t scoff at their rules,” he said of federal authorities. “It’s a part of the operational guidelines.”

Now we can argue about seniors eating federally-funded food. We can argue about the state of entitlements and government dependence in general in this country. But we’re always told by the liberals that we need to fund entitlements to help the poor and the elderly, etc., etc.

So we’re helping them by…prohibiting them from praying? How is that helping?
Though no liberal would ever come right out and admit it, this is part of the end goal of entitlements and government dependency. Again, once we’re dependent on the government the government can control us. Right down to the prayer we may or may not say before a meal.

If it were me and I lived near that Senior Center, I would organize a group of Christian Visitors, and if you have some that big guys and know karate etc even better, to go down there for every meal and pray with those people every day, while engaging an attorney to fight this... or find another way to help these people get their food!!

We are really at the point that all people in the US fall into three several categories:

Kool Aid Drinkers and Obama Worshipers
Patriots who believe in the Constitution and God or at least the right of the rest of believe in God
Cowards and/or Idiots

What is the old saying? There are 3-kinds of people in the world:
Those that make things happen (good and bad)
Those that watch things happen
and Those that say What happened?

We are truly down to the point of those that get it need to be ready to stand-up for what we know is right and act accordingly to the need at hand in each situation against those who have but one goal to destroy America... and move to a one world order (NWO). And those of us who are Christians know where that is going.  And then there are the Cowards and idiots need to take a side or as usual in their lives be stuck with what is left.

Do yourselves a favor and vow to pray and talk to God consistently and with his strength speak-up, stand-up, report, sit-in, vote and prepare yourself to be able to stand up in and for yourself and God in situations that are your worst nightmares.

The NWO group planned to have the North American Union in full swing years ago, but we were too tough, too elusive. Stopping them, postponing them, perhaps extending man's time on Earth, or at least our place as a people during the End of Times could very well be in our hands and in our relationship as individuals and as a Country with GOD... Right now, as a nation overall, we are teetering on a cliff in the wrong direction.  The 5 G's:  God... Gold... Guns... General Store Supplies to be Prepared... and Guts; the Guts to stand up for God, for the Constitution that true Patriots know was God inspired, for America, for our way of life, for our families and against evil is where we need to be... right now... today. Tomorrow is probably going to be too late to change things. Don't wait for the outcome of the 2010 and 2012 elections to stand-up. Stand-up today so that the 2010 and 2012 will be guided by God's hand so that we have a place to start fighting from.

Power of Prayer and God – Daily Prayer Group for US

Someone has said if Christians really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless.

Did you know that during WWII there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace?

There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America. If you would like to participate: Every evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central) (7:00 PM Mountain) (6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute+ praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens, our freedoms, our way of life and for a return to a Godly nation. {And I might add an unprecedented True revival in Christians to be followed by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in each one!}

GOD Is Busy

If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!

A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "GOD!! if you are real then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 min." The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop.

Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.

The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, 'What in the world is the matter with you? 'Why did you do that?' The Marine calmly replied, "GOD was too busy today protecting American soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot. So He sent me."

The classroom erupted in cheers!
