WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange called Facebook "the most appalling spying machine ever invented" in an interview with Russia Today, pointing to the popular social networking site as one of the top tools for the U.S. to spy on its citizens.

"Here we have the world's most comprehensive database about people, their relationships, their names, their addresses, their locations, their communications with each other and their relatives, all sitting within the United States, all accessible to US Intelligence," he said. "Facebook, Google, Yahoo, all these major U.S. organizations have built-in interfaces for US intelligence.

"Everyone should understand that when they add their friends to Facebook they are doing free work for the United States intelligence agencies," he added.

The comments were a bit strange, coming from the founder of a website best known for pushing spilling secret information.

In an email to the Daily News, a Facebook spokesman denied the company was doing anything that they weren't legally obligated to do, saying that "the legal standards for compelling a company to turn over data are determined by the laws of the country, and we respect that standard."

"We don't respond to pressure, we respond to compulsory legal process," the spokesperson wrote. "There has never been a time we have been pressured to turn over data -- we fight every time we believe the legal process is insufficient."

In any event, many Facebook users have been increasingly concerned about the sharing of their information.

In 2010, three Democratic senators asked the FTC to look at the social networking site's information-sharing policies.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that popular Facebook apps like Farmville and Causes also shared users' information with advertising and tracking companies.

Concerns about information-sharing has seemingly done little to dissuade the more than 250 million people who use Facebook - including someone who created an official WikiLeaks page on the site.

More than 1.72 million people clicked that they like it.

Assange is currently in England, awaiting extradition to Sweden to face sexual assault charges.

BOGOTA, COLOMBIA -

Russia delivered at least 1,800 shoulder-fired antiaircraft missiles to Venezuela in 2009, U.N. arms control data show, despite vigorous U.S. efforts to stop President Hugo Chavez's stridently anti-American government from acquiring the weapons.

The United States feared that the missiles could be funneled to Marxist guerrillas fighting Colombia's pro-American government or Mexican drug cartels, concerns expressed in U.S. diplomatic cables obtained by WikiLeaks and first reported in the Spanish newspaper El Pais.

It had been unclear how many of the Russian SA-24 missiles were delivered to Venezuela, though the transfer itself was not secret. Chavez showed off a few dozen at a military parade in April 2009, saying they could "deter whatever aerial aggression against our country." A high-level Russian delegation told American officials in Washington in July of that year that 100 of the missiles had been delivered in the first quarter of 2009.

Then earlier this year, Russia reported to the U.N. Register of Conventional Arms, which records the transnational sale of weaponry, that the deal totaled 1,800 missiles.

The U.N. registry did not reveal the model of the delivered weaponry. But the American commander for military forces in Latin America, Air Force Gen. Douglas Fraser, publicly expressed concern this year that Venezuela was purchasing as many as 2,400 of the missiles, also called the IGLA-S.

Matt Schroeder, a missile expert at the Federation of American Scientists in Washington, said the missiles are among the most sophisticated in the world and can down aircraft from 19,000 feet.

"It's the largest recorded transfer in the U.N. arms registry database in five years, at least. There's no state in Latin America of greater concern regarding leakage that has purchased so many missiles," he said, referring to reports of Venezuelan arms flowing to Colombian guerrillas.

The database also shows that from 2006 through 2008, Russia delivered to Venezuela 472 missiles and launching mechanisms, 44 attack helicopters and 24 combat aircraft, purchases funded by Venezuelan oil sales.

A self-styled Socialist who claims that successive U.S. governments want to topple him, Chavez told his countrymen during the 2009 military parade that "we don't want war with anyone, but we are obligated to prepare." Months later, in December 2009, he said in a nationally televised address that "thousands of missiles are arriving" but did not say what kind.

Secret American cables said that the United States was concerned about the Chavez government's acquisition of Russian arms, which also included attack helicopters, Sukhoi fighter planes and 100,000 Kalashnikov assault rifles.

A State Department cable on Aug. 10, 2009, to embassies in Europe and South America said Russian sales to Venezuela total "over $5 billion last year and growing." There was also concern about Spain's plans to sell aircraft and coastal patrol boats to Venezuela.

The cables show how both the Bush and Obama administrations tried to stop the arms sales by highlighting the possibility that the weapons could end up with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, a rebel group that Colombian officials say has received material support from Chavez's government.

"In early March, Secretary Clinton raised the sale with Russian FM Sergey Lavrov," the August 2009 cable says, referring to Hillary Rodham Clinton and Russia's foreign minister.

A cable from Washington to Moscow dated Feb. 14, 2009, said FARC computer files seized by Colombia's army indicated that Venezuela tried to facilitate arms market deals for the rebels. It expressed fear that missiles acquired by the FARC, which is mired in the drug trade, could wind up with Mexican cartels that "are actively seeking to acquire powerful and highly sophisticated weapons."

Chavez has long denied that his government assists the FARC. A spokeswoman for the Venezuelan Embassy in Washington said diplomats there could not respond to the allegations by U.S. officials. The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry in Caracas did not respond to phone calls.

The August 2009 cable notes that Russian ammunition sold to Venezuela was found in FARC hands and that U.S. officials raised the issue with Russian diplomats visiting Washington.

The American efforts to derail Russian and Spanish arms sales to Venezuela appeared to strain U.S. relations with both countries.

In a meeting in Moscow in 2005, Anatoliy Antonov, who oversaw disarmament issues for the Russian foreign ministry, told a U.S. Embassy official that Washington was trying to restrict Russian access to the arms market.

The United States also urged Spain to halt the sales of patrol boats, ocean-going corvettes, C-295 transport planes and patrol aircraft to Venezuela, a deal the Spanish government said was worth $1.7 billion and would help revive the country's shipbuilding industry.

The Spanish cemented the sale of the vessels to Venezuela, but the United States blocked the sale of the aircraft because they used sophisticated American electronics.

Irked that Washington had halted the aircraft sale, the foreign minister at the time, Miguel Angel Moratinos, lamented that the United States "did not recognize Spain's positive steps but only focused on negative episodes in the relationship," according to a cable written by the ambassador in January 2006.

"We are the eighth-largest power in the world but the USG treats us like a fifth-rate power," Moratinos told the ambassador, referring to the U.S. government.

Everyone is arguing about the wrong thing… Everyone sees and is focusing on the wrong thing, in large part because of how it is being reported and because of that reporting, people are not making the proper of full connections.

In an interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange demanded the complete removal of every United States leader, from the lowest government official all the way to the highest office, for their involvement in spying on UN officials — including the resignation of President Barack Obama. In other words, anarchy.

"The whole chain of command who was aware of this order, and approved it, must resign if the US is to be seen to be credible nation that obeys the rule of law," Assange told the newspaper through an internet phone call. "The order is so serious it may well have been put to the president for approval. Obama should say what he knew about this illegal order and when he knew it. If he refuses to answer or provide no evidence that approved those actions, he should resign."

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary anarchy is described as an absence of government, a state of lawlessness or political disorder due to the absence of governmental authority, and a utopian society of individuals who enjoy complete freedom without government.

The ‘big picture’ behind Wikileaks is huge, but it is only a small part of the Perfect Storm.  Please pay attention, do your own homework, share what you find and think out of the box!!

This is exactly what the Progressive have now done… They have already accomplished all of the above except take over the media, which will happen soon!!

The new spending budget finally passed and in it are huge allotments for new regulations… to be used by Cass Sunstein our Regulatory Czar, but our military has gotten the smallest raise ever in 50-years.  They also attached the dangerous Food Safety Bill, giving the government control of growing, sharing, storing and selling food, seeds as well as supplements.

Beck has spoken to professors and experts from all over.

Does anyone find the timing of the FCC hearing this month on controlling the Internet odd??  Just as we have the Wikileaks disaster?

The Progressive left has been working on the top down, bottom up, inside out movement for a long time and once Obama was elected it was sped up!!  Self-avowed Communist former Czar Van Jones is at the forefront of this movement.  He says the next frontier is taking the power of the racists… Racists to them are average American, patriots, tea party members, constitutionalists, conservative media etc. 

Keep remembering the goal:  get the bottom to rise up, turn the middle inside out and cause the top to collapse.

Revolutionaries are running the White House as well as the power groups around the world.  And they know that you must control the media… that is what the FCC Internet and  power grab is all about.

Who is backing Wikileaks: Socialist Alliance, The One Nation Event Coalition,  The War Resistors League, Wade Radke (founder of Acorn), AFSCME (the government workers union… with Socialist ties. Their head is a former national secretary of the SDS… with Weather Underground ties)  the American Communist Party, Soicalist Party USA etc etc. (December 5th in Connecticut the Communist party gave an award to head of the Connecticut chapter of the AFL-CIO. John Olsen.. and he said he was proud to get it and stand with them… enemy of enemy is my friend type of thinking)

Cold Blood says, “We will boycott anyone and anything that does not support Wikileaks!”  Chaos is the goal… to destroy our way of life… the American Republic.

Wikileaks and their backers are trying to create enough chaos to give the Fed a reason to lock down America internally and take even more of freedoms.  None of this is an accident!

We are now being presented with false choices on all fronts.  If you go back to almost every bill or action this administration has forced on us, there has always been an incident or crisis to affect and justify what they want or to divert our attention… or both!

All of a sudden Eric Holder is on the forefront of the campaign to shut Wikileaks down (but not after the first set was released)  and control the Internet… right at the perfect time when; just in time for the FCC Hearings (December 17th).  Coincidental???  Probably not!?! (Regulating the Internet will not make it better!  It will give the government the right to scan, scrub, slant and limit the information that you can access and post and how you post and read it.  The powers that be are already doing much of that but once it becomes legal the intrusion and control of information will quadruple…)

There is a long list of people urging punishing that Assange and Wikileaks should be taken down… (Some will even be fooled into thinking that having the government regulate the Internet is a good thing or necessary, also part of the plan.)  Some are Progressives and are part of the plan… some have just not put it all together yet…  Please look at everything in a new way… out of the box.  We are in a battle against a Global Revolution.

The only way to win is to not react as they expect us to.  Stay peaceful.  Do not stop protesting peacefully.  Teach and inspire your children and grandchildren with God, the Constitution and American History.

America is going to change… but if we do it correctly, it could end up being better!!

Arianna Huffington is supporting cyber-pirates shouting chaos like Julian Assange, but attacks Glenn Beck who honestly gathers the truth and shares it.  Time to ask yourself why??  Time to share your thoughts and knowledge with all you know and then ask them about their thoughts on why…?

Nobody knows what the effects of the upcoming FCC hearings may bring. It could be the end to blogs like these, to free speech on the Internet, to free speech on the radio, to programs like Glenn Beck.  It may be the end to most information that gives you any alternative to the mainstream media that is controlled and run by the Progressive left.  Arm yourself if knowledge quickly… just in case!!

But remember the quote of the Earl of Sandwich talking about , “If only they would produce 200,000 of these fellows instead of only 40,000 or 50,000.  It would make the victory, so much easier!”   Really??  He underestimated George Washington!  (George Washington's Sacred Fire)

The moral: Do not underestimate the American Spirit!!  And it only takes a percentage of Americans to wake-up and stand-up to win in the long run!!
