Community organizers 'pray' to president 'Hear our cry. Hear our cry. Deliver us'

A newly publicized video shows leaders of a Chicago-based community organizing group called the Gamaliel Foundation held a rally shortly after President Obama's election and "prayed" to him, seeking his intervention in their difficulties.

"Hear our Cry Obama. Deliver us Obama," the organizers chanted as a single leader recited the organization's perceived problems, based on the philosophies of Saul Alinsky, (Rules for Radicals) the radical father of community organizing.

The video has been posted on Breitbart.TV. and the Fox Nation

The video explains the event took place at a leadership conference just a few weeks after Obama's election in November.

Then the chanter leads: "We are here for the healing of the nation," to which the crowd responds, "Yes."

"With the prophet Jeremiah we cry out, 'Is there no balm in Gilead?'" continues the chanter. "Is there no physician here. Why then has the health of thy poor people not been restored?"

The crowd responds: "Hear our cry Obama."

The chanter references the "prophet Martin Luther King Jr.," to which the crowd responds, "Here our cry Obama."

The chanter then intones: "From health care systems and industries that place profit over people," and the people respond, "Deliver us Obama."

The chanter then references "lobbying efforts" and "freed and fear," to which the crowd responds, "Deliver us Obama."

Officials with the Gamaliel Foundation did not return a message left by WND requesting a comment.

But according to the organization's website, its type of community organizing began in Chicago in 1938.

"Saul Alinsky created the 'Back of the Yards Community Council,'" the site says. "The organization operated in the shadow of Chicago's stock yards. The community was beset with poverty, political corruption, gangs, disease, deteriorating housing and inadequate schools; but most of all it was beset with a sense of powerlessness. The organization successfully engaged people to change the conditions of the community."

The foundation says it was set up in 1968 to support "an African American organization fighting to protect homeowners on Chicago's Westside who had been discriminated against by banks and saving and loan institutions."

It was relaunched in 1986 "as an organizing institute."

WND previously reported when an artist who planned to unveil a portrait of Obama in a Christ-like pose with a crown of thorns upon his brow canceled the event, due to "overwhelming public outrage."

Others, such as Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, also have been clear in their nearly religious adoration of Obama. As WND reported, Farrakhan declared last year that when Obama talks, "the Messiah is absolutely speaking."

Addressing a large crowd behind a podium with a Nation of Islam Savior's Day 2008 sign, Farrakhan proclaimed, "You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking."

Farrakhan pointed out that the man Nation of Islam followers refer to as "the Savior," Fard Muhammad, had a black father and a white mother, just as Obama did.

"A black man with a white mother became a savior to us," he said. "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."

WND also previously reported a website called "Is Barack Obama the Messiah?" capturing the wave of euphoria that followed the Democratic senator's remarkable rise.

The site was topped by an Obama quote strategically ripped from a Jan. 7 speech at Dartmouth College just before the New Hampshire Primary in which he told students, "… a light will shine through that window, a beam of light will come down upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will suddenly realize that you must go to the polls and vote" for Obama.

COMING: THE ECONOMIC "W"

What will be our economic trajectory?  How will we do as we come out of the recession of 2008-2009?

There are those foolish optimists who predict a "V" shaped recovery - the swift crash will be followed by a buoyant surge.  Others, more sober, believe in a "U" - the crash will gradually ease and slowly be followed by gradually increasing growth. 

Pessimists see an "L" - the crash will be followed by a long period of stagnation and no growth.

I believe a "W" is more likely.  Foreign stimulus (e.g. China) will rekindle export markets for American manufacturing and government lending will start the housing industry.  But consumer demand, which accounts for 70% of America's growth, will continue to be stagnant in the face of high unemployment and lingering fears.  The rebound will be short-lived and followed by a further downturn, the second part of the "W".

But this second dip will be accentuated by inflation.  We will face, not the stagflation of the 70s, but depressflation, negative growth and high inflation simultaneously.  Unfortunately, the policies that would cure one condition will only worsen the other one.  The low interest rates and economic stimulus necessary to kindle growth will exacerbate inflation while the high rates that would cure price increases would depress the economy further.

There is just too much debt out there and inflation is inevitable. The United States now borrows between 40 and 50 cents of each dollar it spends.  The deficit has tripled since 2008.  And, with all the world's governments following the U.S. into debt and deficit, governments cannot find enough lenders and have to print their own money, a sure portent of disaster.

Voters are getting that the cycle of deficit, debt, and inflation is the inevitable consequence of statist economic policies.
Germany's decisive turn away from the left in its national elections signals this sea change in political behavior. After a decade of drift to the left, voters have discovered their bearings and their senses just in time.

Not only did Germany's Social Democratic Party, the world's foremost socialist political organization, lose more than one third of its vote, but the free market Free Democratic Party grew by more than one third.  Merkel, who had to govern in coalition with the Socialists, now can indulge her personal philosophy and form a conservative coalition to lead Germany out of the recession.  Now, Merkel can, indeed, be the Thatcher of Germany.

The next shoe to drop will be in the United Kingdom where Gordon Brown and his discredited Labor Party trail the Conservatives by seventeen points.  London must call for elections by June of 2010.  Brown can delay the day of his party's reckoning until then, but it must come.

Germany, the United Kingdom and France are moving right because they are growing tired of the social democrats and progressive politics.

These conservative triumphs will set the stage for the American Congressional elections of  2010.  It seems certain that Republicans will gain enormously although whether or not this surge will be enough to capture either or both Houses of Congress remains to be seen.

Voters get that an orgy of debt can lead to an orgy of inflation.  What better nation to teach the world this fact of economic life than one whose nascent democracy was strangled in its cradle by the hyper-inflation of the 20s opening the door to Hitler's ascension to power?

Five Brave Dems Join Republicans Against the Public Option… Kill Public Option (at least for now)

When Senator Rockefeller was asked to explain how he was going to pay for his HC program amendment, which includes a public option… he refused to answer the question?!?  Refused!  Why?  Because it is mostly on the back of seniors, through cuts in Medicare and Medicaid.

Five brave Democrats joined all Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday in defeating one version of a public option, or government-run insurance.

Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-WV, sponsored an amendment that would have created a plan, run by the federal government, modeled on Medicare.   But too many of his Democratic colleagues voiced concern that low level reimbursement rates in some states, though they would be in effect for only two years, could bankrupt hospitals that don't get much from the federal government.

Democrats also voiced varying levels of concern that doctors, for two years, would be required to offer a public option if they want to continue to serve Medicare beneficiaries, a point that came courtesy of committee Republican John Ensign of Nevada.

It appeared that Democrats were fighting mostly amongst themselves.  Republicans, who have dominated the discussion on other days, did not speak nearly as much today, Tuesday.

If we ever get to see this final bill… better checkout the amendments

Harry Reid has put in some kind of exemption for his state.

Medicaid costs will be shifted to the states.

At best there will be a trillion dollar cost and cuts to the bill passed if ObamaCare options win.

Obama and the Dems are still talking reconciliation:  Changing the Rules of the Senate to force through ObamaCare.  If this happens, it will be time for the American people to look at at pursue all options:

Constitutional Reviews of all bills passed in both houses of Congress and simultaneous attempts at impeachment(s).

Keep up the pressure on Congress until the vote… ‘No Public Option’ and remember:

It's clear, someone is not being straight with the American people, and such a display of mendacity simply leads us to ask more questions.

Can a government that is unwilling to act with transparency... a government that initiates investigations against those with opposing views... be trusted to act in the best interests of the American people... of you... of me?
If ObamaCare is egregious now, what will it look like in a year... or two years... or five years... will they even bother to tell us... or will every change to ObamaCare be made behind closed doors in a smoke-filled room?
Do we really want to empower the same government that is fouling-up cash-for-clunkers... the same government that is fouling-up our economy by effectively taking control of private companies... the power to foul-up our health care?
Do we really want to empower that same government to determine which life-saving treatments we will receive... that our loved-ones will receive... or don't receive?
Do we really want government end-of-life counselors who would probably exhibit the compassion of IRS agents counseling us or our loved ones on life and death decisions?

Of course not. But too many of our so-called leaders still don’t get it. They don't see the bigger picture.
Instead of scrapping ObamaCare... throwing it onto the ash-heap of history...they're quibbling over what type of government-run health care they believe to be best for you and your family... and no one is fighting for you... for us... for the American people.

When Baucus unveiled his new and improved (and unwritten) version of ObamaCare, legislators (Republicans and Democrats alike) piled on... in no time flat, over 560 amendments (to an unwritten bill that was nothing more than 200 pages of notes and ideas) were put forward.

Senator Lindsey Graham perhaps said it best; "we’re making this up as we go… they’re trying to buy votes… the vision here is to pass something… they don’t give a damn what it is and nobody understands what they’re doing.”

The American people for months have been sending the message loud and clear that they want no part of ObamaCare, period, regardless of what form it takes.

The American people have been telling politicians in Washington that no amount of so-called "compromise" will make Obama’s government-run health care scheme acceptable or palatable.

And yet, these politicians keep talking... they keep amending... they keep"negotiating" ... they keep trying to "compromise" and reach "consensus" ... in short,they continue to waste time on something that no one wants.

Is that ridiculous, or what?

The reason they continue to do this, no matter what we say, is that ObamaCare, taking over the banks, taking over the media and Cap and Trade are all part of a much bigger plan... It is a Power Grab and a plan to fundamentally change the United States, as Obama said himself... "We are just 5 days away from fundamentally changing the United States of America".

Threatening every senator and congressmen with being voted out if they vote for any (anymore) of this and keeping the pressure on is step one. Picketing in front of Congress is another.

But in the end... this whole revolution has been in the works since the 30's and Obama is finally the Progressive Movement's Chosen One... that they got elected because the American People weren't paying attention, didn't read the book written by and about Obama, didn't listen to what he was saying and got swept away in a whirl of rhetoric and lies that were peppered with underlying currents of white guilt and political correctness.

There are consequences to elections and not paying attention but there are bigger consequences if we let it go on. Hitler and Chavez were both elected... and then took over. Castro was put in by us, as a friend to the U.S., and the Cuban people have never been able to get out from under.

Everything that has the possibility of being unconstitutional must be challenged in the courts, but that is a long process. Voting everyone out that votes or voted for Obamacare, Cap and Trade or anymore bailouts, that is up for election in 2010 is a must... and the rest 2012! But 3 more years of what is going on will have destroyed the U.S as we know it, so impeachment from the top down is certainly something to look at, especially if they push through ObamaCare when 56%+ of the American people are adamantely against it... and it will need to be challenged in the courts. Most won't go into affect until 2013, so it could be revoked before then.

Obama himself, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Obama's czars and the list goes on all have allegiance and work for people and causes that have nothing to do the good of the United States or the American People.

It is becoming so obvious that even the New York Times today assigned an editor to monitor Fox News for all the news they are missing (and have missed). (and for the Beck, Hannity and O'Reilly haters... they don't make the news, they 'present' film, information and people that verify, share and prove what is going on).

A perfect example of the media bias is the event up in Seattle for Beck over the weekend for 70,000 peaceful people. What was covered by the news? 40 protestors outside. And every 'true' example of violence that the Dems keep talking about over the past months has been from the left.

Monday September 28, 2009 It's the economy stupid: This was the famous reminder posted in all of then Governor Bill Clinton's campaign offices as he ran for President against then incumbent George H.W. Bush. It was there to keep the campaign from being distracted by other issues and to focus on the fact that the economy was bad and people were hurting. It worked. But the economy is much worse now. And as President Obama fiddles away in the White House with a government take-over of health care, the economy is far from being out of the woods. Yes, the economy will almost certainly be declared to be technically out of recession in this quarter. Things have stopped getting worse. Monthly job losses have declined. But we should not be sanguine. There are 4 major risks on the horizon which could lead us into a "double dip" or "W-shaped" recession next year. Many economists, including some of President Obama's advisors, have told me they think that the risk of slipping back into recession next year is at least 50%. What would cause that to happen? See the following: 1. First of all, this "recovery" is weak and jobless. There is a still lot of deleveraging going on. Many of you probably would not notice this recovery if you didn't read about it in the paper. Americans are still losing jobs and it will be some time before we start to gain jobs again. 2. We have a looming commercial mortgage loan crisis which is similar in effect and magnitude to the home mortgage crisis that sent the world economy over the brink last fall. Trillions of dollars of loans on office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, and the like are coming due in the next 18 months where there is no equity and no place to refinance them. This Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) crisis is in its very early stages. But as it builds, it will follow a similar path to the home mortgage crisis. Rents and occupancies are down, so building values are down. The owner can't pay the mortgage and the building isn't worth half of the mortgage on it. So, the owner gives it back to the bank, the bank distress sells the building into the market which lowers the value of other buildings around, and the crisis feeds on itself. This will cause the failure of more banks (largely medium sized regional banks) and wipe out more wealth, capital, and jobs. 3. The home mortgage crisis is not over. Now we are seeing failures of loans that were good loans when made, but because of job losses and persistent unemployment, people can no longer make the payments. Just as the subprime foreclosures start to slow down, these A and B mortgage failures are accelerating. 4. The federal government will borrow about $1.5 trillion more in the next 12 months to finance current record setting deficits. This borrowing sucks $1.5 trillion out of the economy that could otherwise be invested productively to create jobs and economic growth. It is not a certainty that we will slip back into recession, but it is a distinct possibility. And if we don't reenter a technical recession, we will likely have no or very little growth in the economy for years to come as these problems work their way through. We should be taking action now to try and forestall this. While there is widespread acknowledgment in DC of these risks, the administration and the Speaker are obsessed with socializing medicine, increasing taxes to create a fund for global warming, and other distractions that will make the economy worse, not better. What should we be doing? Several things in my view. Broadly, we should first be removing every legal, tax, and regulatory burden that keep financial institutions and building owners from restructuring loans or attracting new capital that would forestall more foreclosures. Everything from bank reserve requirements to restrictions on foreign investment to tax penalties, should be temporarily revised to keep as many of the buildings as possible from going through traditional foreclosure. Secondly, we should be scrapping the worthless so-called ‘stimulus package’ to reduce borrowing and debt. Thirdly, we should reallocate a portion of that money into real stimulus like a $15,000 refundable tax credit for buying a home to stimulate that market and a capital gains tax holiday to encourage investment and risk taking. Bill Clinton was right in 1992 and the same is true today. It is the economy stupid. Other important issues are easier to deal with when there is economic growth, jobs being created, and more taxes being paid because more people are earning money. You can be assured that I and others will be focused on this in Washington and we hope to get some focus on it through the current paralysis caused by the health care debate. Health Care Update: Democrats in the House and the Senate, with the urging of the President, are bound and determined to pass a full-blown socialized medicine bill with the government "option." No Republican in either House will vote for such a bill, but they don't need any Republican votes if they can get nearly all Democrats. In Massachusetts, the legislature just reversed a bill passed when Mitt Romney was Governor of that state that kept him from appointing replacement Senators. Now that a Democrat is governor, they completely changed the law without any pretense of justification in equity or fairness. This was done solely to get the 60th Democrat vote in the Senate (replacing Ted Kennedy), so they can pass socialized medicine without a single Republican anywhere. It seems that there is nothing they won't do to take 1/6 of the American economy and put it under government control and destroy quality health care in this country. Speaker Pelosi has made it clear that her bill will include a government option at Medicare rates, which will put many doctors and hospitals out of business. As I suggested above, this entire town continues to be in paralysis over this issue as Obama has staked his Presidency on it. Right now, they apparently don't have enough votes in the House. But, as you read this, Democratic House members will be offered multiple campaign visits by the President to their district, fundraisers by the President, and all kinds of other things if they will just vote against the will of their constituents and the American people for government-run health care. The power of the Presidency is immense. I fear that they just might get it done. We must all continue to do everything we can to stop it. 1. I have persuaded the League of American Voters to run ten second advertisements in key states that show an elderly person saying: "Senator _________: Please don't cut my Medicare by $500 billion. I need my Medicare." We need to get these ads on in the key states.

Obama would like us to believe that the key issue is whether or not to have a public option, precisely because he is prepared to concede the point (and have a co-op which would be run by the government for at least the first three years instead). But we need to focus attention on the cuts in Medicare. It is slashing services to the elderly that is the key point!

So please, click here and give very, very generously. This is the key moment and you can make all the difference! With pressure such as the elderly are bringing to bear, the Senate would not dare pass this benighted plan!

Three Must Read Book Suggestions and Reviews

Here are some must reads suggestions for today's climate, even if you are not generally into politics or reading non-fiction. I would highly recommend them if you have not already read them. I am reading both Arguing with Idiots right now as well as What Americans Really Want... Really. And I refer to American Progressivism a lot.

What Americans Really Want...Really

Insight into our priorities and desires, September 15, 2009

As the owner of a small business, I'm looking for insight that will help me understand my clients and make decisions that will help my business grow, especially in our current economy. I pre-ordered this book based on the strength of Dr. Luntz' previous book, Words That Work, which offered some great tips on how to communicate more effectively. While he and I are on different sides politically, his new book does not seem to have any party affiliation (the first quote he uses is from JFK!). His writing style is engaging and entertaining, and fairly balanced as well.

I found the chapter on jobs and work ("I Can't Get No Satisfaction") to be the most interesting. Not only does he talk about what workers want from their employers, he also turns the tables and discusses what employers expect from their employees. Putting both in the same context is revealing, highlighting the areas where the two sides are out of synch. The aspects of an employer that Luntz lists as being important to employees are valid when customers look at a company as well.
His analysis of the "2020 Generation" was an eye-opener. The picture Luntz paints is of a large group of consumers who think and act (and react) so differently than their predecessors, so the old way of thinking no longer applies. Luntz' interviews and focus groups sounded like they were painful for the media executives to observe, yet they produced some good advice on how to appeal to this segment.

The chapter on politics was useful, although I might have read it differently than then author intended. I found value by looking at the voters as consumers and government as the product. The "lessons" section at the end of the chapter is as relevant to a business, or to any interpersonal relationship, as it would be to an elected representative.

The old joke is that a consultant is someone who looks at your watch and tells you what time it is. Luntz is effective in this role - to me, his identification of our priorities show what people around me are thinking, which is a valuable lesson to learn.

What Americans Really Want...Really, Frank also gives some common sense solutions to changing the tide and what is wrong in America.

1. Have Dinner with your family/kids and talk

2. Take your kids to church... let them see that there is something bigger than themselves and the government.

3. Check your kids homework at least 3-times a week. Be interested and know what is going on in their school.'

4. Take at least a 1-week family trip a year with your kids without electronics (for everyone). No texting, video games or even cell phones, except perhaps one for you for emergencies.

5. Demand the Truth. Where were you? Who were you with...

6. Make sure your kids are all enrolled in a Team Sport or Scouting. Learn the values of teamwork, sharing, winning and losing.

Things that used be common sense and common place!

Arguing with Idiots - A Book Review By Jay Taylor of The Patriot Update

Glenn Beck’s new book Arguing with Idiots is quite an amazing book. When you first pick it up you know it is unyielding. It is very solid: coming in at 2 pounds 6 ounces. This is not your typical non-fiction book where the author goes on about various topics. Flipping through it, you immediately notice that it is different—it has more in common with a textbook than with a popular novel. Sure there are topics and chapters, but there are also many practical examples, charts, pictures, graphs, quotes, sidebars, and much, much more.

The book is divided into 12 chapters and also includes a “How to use this book” and “Citations” section. Each of the twelve chapters thoroughly discusses a particular topic that is extremely relevant in today’s political culture. Here’s a brief look at each one:

Chapter 1: In defense of Capitalism – Giving the free market a fair shake
Goes through all of today’s economic arguments with a humorous “Adventures in Capitalism” throughout.

Chapter 2: The Second Amendment – Ammunition to defend your rights
Gives you all the facts to refute every absurd argument to take away your gun rights.

The government has failed to send promised tuition checks, leaving with the choice or borrow money until the funds hopefully show up or dropping out. Obama's Top Aide Gaspard Tied to ACORN

Patrick Gaspard, considered one of the most powerful figures in the Obama White House, is a "longtime ACORN operative" and former union official, according to a report posted Monday on the American Spectator's online blog.

Gaspard's name recently surfaced as the official President Obama dispatched to urge beleaguered New York Gov. David Paterson not to run for another term. Paterson insists he'll continue to run for governor even without Obama's support.

Gaspard has extensive ties to organized labor and community-organizing groups. One measure of his influence in the White House: He holds the same "political affairs director" title that belonged to Karl Rove during the Bush administration.

The Spectator's Matthew Vadum, a senior editor at the Capital Research Center think tank, reported that Gaspard was the New York political director for top ACORN official Bertha Lewis before 2003. Lewis is the CEO and "chief organizer" for ACORN, which is the subject of more than a dozen investigations for vote-registration fraud nationwide.

The House and Senate recently moved to cut off ACORN funding after a series of videos revealed the willingness of its staff to help establish a reputed child-prostitution ring based in San Salvador. Obama refused to support ending federal funding for ACORN, however, telling ABC: "It's not something I'm paying a lot of attention to."

Vadum cited the blog maintained by ACORN founder Wade Rathke, ChiefOrganizer.org, as his source for the Gaspard-ACORN link.

In May, Rathke described how officials of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) teamed up with HealthCare Reform Czar Nancy-Ann DeParle to pry big price concessions from private health firms.

Speaking of the advantage that comes from having powerful friends in high places, Rathke wrote: "Tell me that (Local) 1199’s former political director, Patrick Gaspard (who was ACORN New York’s political director before that) didn’t reach out from the White House and help make that happen, and I’ll tell you to take some remedial classes in 'politics 101.'"

The Spectator described Gaspard "ACORN's Man in the White House." It also reported that he was national field director in 2004 for American Coming Together (ACT), a get-out-the-vote organization.

The FEC hit ACT with a $775,000 fine for campaign-finance violations — one of the largest FEC fines ever — and it reportedly ceased operations in 2005.

Gaspard also worked for eight years for SEIU Local 1199, a hospital workers local, according to the Village Voice.

The Spectator report detailed what it calls the "fuzzy" line between the SEIU and ACORN.

Vadum reported that SEIU Local 880 and the SEIU Local 100 that Rathke heads are "part of the ACORN network of organizations."

He reported that the locals were listed as such on ACORN's Web site, buts the references recently were removed.

You read that right. A government takeover of healthcare was moving on a fast track to passage... and then GOP Representatives and Senators took to the floors of Congress and made speeches, using a chart to show the tangled maze of new bureaucracies that the plan would create, and which would bury average Americans with a tsunami of government regulations.

That chart, created by Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey and his staff, was captioned "Simplicity Defined." Sen. Arlen Specter (a Republican back then) displayed the chart in the Senate, and on Larry King Live in 1995 he declared, "I was one of the leaders in the Senate that defeated [Clinton's] health care plan. You might remember my chart... which showed what a tax and spend policy it was."

One of Hillary Clinton's comments after the defeat of HillaryCare was, "We never overcame the chart." Sen. Bob Dole showcased the memorable spaghetti-like visualization during his 1994 response to President Clinton's State of the Union address, and it was a powerful warning against the sales pitch that preceded it.

In 1993, the radical Left's attempt to force a government takeover of healthcare in America was defeated by a CHART. Now, in 2009, we can defeat the new attempt from the Left... with a NEW chart, full of the socialistic, bureaucratic mess of a maze that is "ObamaCare." But to do that, we need to FORCE Congress to LOOK at it -- and we need YOUR help to do that!

As reported in National Review, "When it became clear that another effort would be made at overhauling the nation's health-care system, House Minority Leader John Boehner and other Republicans asked the Joint Economic Committee to draw up another chart, depicting how the system would work under House Democrats' draft legislation. Each staff economist was directed to go through the bill, spotlighting new agencies, mandates, and regulations. Then the bill was dissected a second time, line by line, to ensure that all the parts were accurately represented."
It was Rep. Kevin Brady and the GOP staff of the Joint Economic Committee who finally charted the byzantine health care structure that would be established by the House Democrats' version of the ObamaCare bill. Needless to say, this "panorama of jelly beans on top of a computer's circuit board" isn't pretty; to the average American, it looks like a maze that they'll have to navigate before receiving medical care. AND IT IS -- the parts in white already exist, and the colored boxes are the new entities, offices, requirements, reports, and subsidies the Democrats' bill would create.
THIS IS THE SILVER BULLET THAT CAN KILL THE OBAMACARE BEAST!
In recent weeks, we've begun to see this new chart appear on the floor of the House of Representatives. Rep. Steve King (R-IA) refers to the old Hillarycare chart regularly in his floor statements, declaring that it "hung on the office in my construction office throughout that entire decade and probably past the change of the millennium. It hung there because it scared the living daylights out of me, as an employer who was providing health insurance for my employees and, of course, my family as well... [This chart] sunk HillaryCare, because the people in this country did not want to create all of this bureaucracy and give all of this control and authority over to the government."
Rep. King is correct -- that chart DID sink HillaryCare. But that chart looks TAME compared to what Obama, Pelosi and Reid are now proposing -- which is why the NEW chart could sink ObamaCare even FASTER than was done before... IF we can force every Member of Congress to LOOK at it!

How can we be sure that this chart can be the turning point in killing off the far Left's latest attempt at socialized healthcare? Because even THEY are trying to keep it hidden!
According to the Congressional newspaper Roll Call, the Democrats are so spooked by the idea that their constituents might learn some of the details of their health care plan that they are trying to block Republican Congressmen from mailing out the chart!

You read that right! According to reports, "Democrats are preventing Republican House Members from sending their constituents a mailing that is critical of the majority's health care reform plan, blocking the mailing by alleging that it is inaccurate." And as Rep. Brady has responded, "The chart reveals how their health care bureaucracy works, and people are frightened by it... So this is their effort to try and discredit" the chart. "Hiding the truth about wildly unpopular policies is a Democrat specialty," said one GOP aide. "I'd like to see the flow chart on how Speaker [Nancy] Pelosi plans on implementing the open and transparent government she keeps promising everyone."

Don't hold your breath. Once again, the Democrats are using their majority power like they're dictators, trying to keep the TRUTH from the American people and their Representatives in Congress. We MUST not let them succeed! That's why we've set up our site to enable you to send "blast faxes" to every single Senator and Representative on Capitol Hill, demanding that they read every line of the ObamaCare bill, look at every single detail exposed by this new chart, and KILL this new attempt at a government takeover of American healthcare!

Solution to the Healthcare Reform…

1. Address and Clean Up Fraud in All Areas of Medical Care! – Billions are lost and wasted in fraud each year. Read: Stop Paying the Crooks
2. Serious Tort Reform – The lawyers are the winner in Obamacare! Tort Reform is not even being addressed
3. Change Intra-State Insurance Laws; allow true competition to sell and purchase insurance across state lines.
4. Make Health Insurance Portable.
5. Reward Doctors for Results Not Numbers of Procedures.
6. Allow the self-employed and small business owners to form private co-ops to purchase health insurance to cut down costs.

7. These changes alone would improve healthcare and save money to cover the uninsured that could be put on a plan that is a subsidiary of Medicare and Medicaid. Government should act as a neutral regulator only… of insurance companies, Big Pharma and the AMA; not be in competition with them. Exclusions due to previous conditions should not be allowed and honest over-sight (which does not happen now) should be maintained and enforced as far as safety, costs and fraud.

8. Natural supplements and alternative or holistic treatments and preventative measures should also be covered and encouraged instead of forced out by Big Pharma and the AMA.

9. “No” centralization of Medical Records! The opportunity for mis-use of that information is too high. The government could incentivize medical groups and doctors to update their records to more modern systems (in-house/in system). Then those records could more easily be sent or hand carried with the patients consent to be shared.

The Obama administration keeps talking about saving money by reforming Medicare and Medicaid. Let them start there and see what the savings really are without cutting funding or pushing costs over to the states.

ObamaCare is or will eventually be socialized medicine, so we need to fight and stop it now. There will be no going back later.

A Govt-Run Co-Op is the same as a Public Option and a Trigger will end up being a Public Option… the Answer has to be No to all!

If you read up on The New World Order, something that people have talked about and feared for years there are always some common threads, no matter which version you read. I. The Melt Down Of Financial Institutions:

A) The dismantling of American Savings & Loan Banks in the 1990s caused by the Fed’s high-interest loans to the US government & forced low interest loans of the S&Ls.

GOP's next target: John Murtha's airport

Conservatives feel as if they’re on a roll these days, with White House adviser Van Jones chased out of town and ACORN funding deleted in an appropriations bill.

So their next stop? Pennsylvania Rep. John Murtha’s airport.

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) has asked for a vote to remove federal funding from the John Murtha Airport in Johnstown, Pa., which has received upward of $150 million in subsidies even though it has only three flights a day — all to Washington.

The House killed a similar amendment in May, but that was before the real surge in public dismay over federal spending and before the town hall chaos of the August recess. So the Senate vote could be different — and it may be harder to say no to such an amendment while the Senate is just starting to digest the $800 billion health care bill.

“This is a test to see how serious we are about stopping wasteful spending,” DeMint said in a statement. “If we can’t stop this ridiculous abuse of taxpayer funds for a deserted airport, we can’t stop anything.”

On Friday, Senator DeMint’s amendment was squelched again…

Some Solutions:

The U.S. is expected to spend about $36.7 billion on its foreign aid budget next year, but large chunks of that money will be going to countries whose leaders openly vilify the U.S. -- and to others that are already rolling in dough.

Much of the foreign aid budget is spent on military, disaster and humanitarian assistance. But some of the spending for 2010 will be heading to countries where dictators rule:

• $98 million to persuade Kim Jong-il of North Korea to give up nuclear weapons
• $20 million for political prisoners and political rights in Castro's Cuba
• $6 million to promote civil society in Hugo Chavez's Venezuela
• $500,000 for border security in Muammar al-Qaddafi's Libya
• $26 million to help train police in Evo Morales' Bolivia
• $56 million to support the rule of law and human rights in Vladimir Putin's Russia, arguably one of the world's richest nations

The question is, do any of the programs work? Many Critics say some recipients of U.S. aid are capable of covering the costs themselves.

In Colombia, where the U.S. spent $38 million to improve human rights in 2008, State Department auditors concluded five of six program areas failed.

The U.S. provided $18 million to improve governance in Honduras, but auditors found nearly all of the 28,000 trained by the U.S. will be replaced after elections in November.

Elsewhere, the Office of Middle East Programs oversees almost $4 billion in U.S. aid to countries like Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority. Auditors found it nearly impossible to evaluate program success because the office operates without a management plan and didn't have any reliable data to actually measure anything.
