Clint’s speech:

He spoke unscripted and uncensored.  The empty chair is an old comic bit…

The House in Tampa loved it; most watching in the living rooms around America loved it; the leftists in Hollywood and in the media green rooms and the Progressive Soros group(s)’ paid bloggers have been focused on it going nuts all day!  Overall review:  It was a success!

Victory!!! Democrats Forced To CANCEL ‘Jumah At The DNC’ Due To Public Outrage

This is a huge victory!!

Now the End Begins:

The power of the blogosphere

NTEB was one of the first to report to you that the DNC 2012 was sponsoring an event to kick-off their convention called “Jumah At The DNC 2012″. This was to be a 2-hour Muslim prayer festival to Allah. We ran the following information on August 28:

“The Democratic National Committee is raising a number of eyebrows after choosing to proceed with hosting Islamic “Jumah” prayers for two hours on the Friday of its convention, though it denied a Catholic cardinal’s request to say a prayer at the same event. Up to 20,000 people are expected to attend the Friday prayers and Jibril Hough, a spokesman for the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA), said the purpose of the event is to hold political parties accountable for the issues faced by Muslim-Americans.”

Our hope, when we run stories like this, is that the public will become informed and raise their voices in opposition and have events like this stopped. It seems that this is exactly what has happened as the event has mysteriously disappeared from the official DNC 2012 website page that had listed the event.

The event has mysteriously disappeared from the official DNC 2012 Convention website.

Pamela Geller from Atlas Shrugs says this:

“It looks as if they are desperately trying to cover their capitulation to Islamic supremacists such as Jumah at the DNC Grand Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who took the Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel Rahman, around to speak at mosques in New York and New Jersey while the Blind Sheikh was plotting to murder tens of thousands of Americans in the World Trade Center, the Lincoln Tunnel and the Holland Tunnel.” source – Atlas Shrugs

So keep it up, people, and let your voice be heard. This website, and dozens more like it, can and do make a huge difference by keeping you informed with what is really going on in the world around you. And if this is just sleight-of-hand by the DNC in removing it from their website but not actually cancelling the event, NTEB will be right out front in reporting on that, too…in a lost and dying world we MUST remain ever vigilant… Stay tuned!…

Mitt Romney Gets Personal in Fiery and Poignant Speech - Gave America a True Choice

Mitt Romney Convention Intro Video

Transcript of Mitt Romney speech at Republican National Convention

ROMNEY: Thank you. Mr. Chairman, and delegates, I accept your nomination for president of the United States.

I do so with humility, deeply moved by the trust you've placed in me. It's a great honor. It's an even greater responsibility. I ask you to walk together to a better future. By my side I have chosen a man with a big heart from a small town.

He represents the best of America. A man who will always make us very proud. My friend and America's next vice-president, Paul Ryan.Advertisement

In the days ahead, you will get to know Paul and Janna better. But, last night America got to see what I saw in Paul Ryan, a strong and caring leader who is down to earth and confidence in the challenge this moment demands. I love the way he lights up around his kids. And how he's not embarrassed to show the world how much he loves his mom.

But Paul, I still like the playlist on my Ipod better than yours.

Four years ago, I know that many Americans felt a fresh excitement about the possibilities of a new president. That choice was not the choice of our party, but Americans always come together after elections. We're a good and generous people, and we are united by so much more than what divides us.

When that election was over, when the yard signs came down and the television commercials finally came off the air, Americans were eager to go back to work, to live our lives the way Americans always have, optimistic and positive and confident in the future.

That very optimism is uniquely American. It's what brought us to America. We're a nation of immigrants, we're the children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the ones who wanted a better life. The driven ones. The ones who woke up at night, hearing that voice telling them that life in a place called America could be better.

They came, not just in pursuit of the riches of this world, but for the richness of this life. Freedom, freedom of religion, freedom to speak their mind, freedom to build a life and, yes, freedom to build a business with their own hands.

This is the essence of the American experience. We Americans have always felt a special kinship with the future.

When every new wave of immigrants looked up and saw the Statue of Liberty, or knelt down and kissed the shores of freedom, just 90 miles from Castro's tyranny, these new Americans sure had many questions, but none doubted that here in America they could build a better life. That in America, their children would be blessed more than they.

But, today, four years from the excitement of that last election, for the first time the majority of Americans now doubt that our children will have a better future. That is not what we were promised.

Every family in America wanted this to be a time when they could get a little ahead, put aside a little more for college, do more for the elderly mom that's now living alone. Or give a little more to their church or their charity. Every small business wants to have this be their best year ever, when they could hire more, do more for those who had stuck with them through hard times. Open a new store, sponsor that little league team.

Every new college graduate thought they'd have a good job by now. A place for their own. They could start paying back some of their loans and build for the future. This is what our nation was supposed to start paying down the national debt, and rolling back massive deficits. This was the hope and change America voted for. It is not just what we wanted, it is not just what we expected, it is what Americans deserved.

You deserved it because you worked harder than ever before during these years. You deserved it because, when it cost more to fill up your car, you cut out moving lights, and put in longer hours. Or when you lost that job that paid $22.50 an hour, benefits, you took two jobs at $9 an hour

‘THE TIME HAS COME’:...You deserve it because your family depended on you. And you did it because you are an American, and you don't quit. You did it because that was because it was because you had to do. The driving home late from that second job, or standing there and watching the gas pump hit $50 and still going. When the realtor told you that to sell your house you'd have to take a big loss on your house. In those moments, you knew that this just was not right. But what could you do except work harder, do with less, try to stay optimistic, hug your kids a little longer, maybe spend more time praying tomorrow would be a better day.

I wish President Obama had succeeded, because I want America to succeed.

But his promises gave way to disappointment and division. This isn't something we have to accept. Now is the moment when we can do something. And with your help, we will do something.

Now is the moment where we can stand up and say, "I am an American, I make my destiny, we deserve better, my children deserve better, my family deserves better, my country deserves better."

So here we stand. Americans have a choice, a decision. To make that choice, you need to know more about me and where I'd lead at our country. I was born in the middle of the century, in the middle of the country, the classic baby boomer. It was a time when Americans were returning from war and eager to work.

To be an American was to assume that all things were possible. When President Kennedy challenged Americans to go to the moon, the challenge was not whether we would get there, it was only when we'd get there.

The soles of Neil Armstrong's on the moon made permanent impressions on our souls.

And I watched those steps together on her parents sofa. Like all American is, we went to bed at night knowing we lived in the greatest country in the history of the world.

God bless Neil Armstrong.

Tonight, that American flag is still there on the Moon. and I don't doubt for a second that Neil Armstrong's spirit is still with us. That unique blend of optimism, humility, and the utter confidence that, when the world needs someone to do that, you need an American.

My dad had been born in Mexico. And his family had to leave during the Mexican revolution. I grew up with stories of his family being fed by the U.S. government as war refugees.

My dad never made it through college, and he apprenticed as a laugh (ph) and plaster carpenter. He had big dreams. He convinced my mom, a beautiful young actress, to give up Hollywood to marry him. And moved to Detroit.

He led a great automobile company and became governor of the great state of Michigan.

We were -- we were Mormons . And growing up in Michigan, that might have seemed unusual or out of place, but I do not remember it that way. My friends cared more about what sports teams we followed that what church went to.

My mom and dad gave their kids the greatest gift of all. The gift of unconditional love. They cared deeply about who we would be and much less about what we would do. Unconditional love is a gift that Ann and I have tried to to pass on to our sons and now to our children.

All the laws and legislation is in the world will never heal the world like the loving hearts and arms of loving mothers and fathers.

You know, if every child could go to sleep feeling araft (ph) in the love of their family and God's love, this world would be a far more gentle place.

My mom and dad were married for 64 years . And if you wondered what their secret was, you could have asked the local florist.

Because every day, dad gave mom a Rose, which he put on the bedside table. That is how she found that the day my father died. She went looking for him because, that morning, there was no rose.

My mom and dad were two partners. A life lesson that shaped me by everyday example. When my mom ran for the Senate, my dad was there for her every step of the way. I can still see her as saying in her beautiful voice, "why should women have any less safe than men about the great decisions facing our nation? -- great decisions facing our nation?"

Don't you wish you could have been here at this convention and heard leaders like Governor Mary Fallin, Governor Nikki Haley, Governor Susana Martinez, Senator Kelly Ayotte, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice?

As governor of Massachusetts, I -- I chose a woman lieutenant governor, a woman chief of staff. Half of my cabinet and senior officials were women. And in business, and mentored and supported great women leaders who went on to run great companies.

I grew up in Detroit, in love with cars. And wanted to be a car guy like my dad. But, by the time I was out of school I realized that I had to go out on my own. That if I stayed around Michigan in the same business I'd never really now if I was getting a break because of my dad. I wanted to go someplace new and prove myself.

Those weren't the easiest of days. Many long hours, and weekends working. Five young sons who seemed to have a need to reenact a different world war every night.

But if you ask Ann and I, what we'd give to break up just one more fight between the boys, or wake up in the morning and discover a pile of kids asleep in a room -- well every mom and dad knows the answer to that. Those days were the...

... these were tough days on Ann, particularly. She was heroic through it all. Five boys with our families a long way away. I had to travel a lot for my job then, and I'd call and try to offer support. But every mom knows that that does not help did the homework done or get the kids out the door to school. I knew that her job as a mom was harder than mine. I knew without question that her job as a mom was a lot more important than mine.

And as America saw Tuesday night, Ann would have succeed at anything she wanted to do.

Like a lot of families in a new place with no family, we found kinship with a wide circle of friends through our church. When we were new to the community, it was welcoming, and as the years went by, it was a joy to help others who had just moved into town or just joined our church.

We had remarkably vibrant endeavors congregations from all walks of life, and many who were new to America. We prayed together, our kids played together, and we always stood ready to help each other out in different ways. That's how it is in America. We look to our communities, our faiths, our families, for our joy and support, in good times and bad. It's both how we live our lives and why we live our lives. The strength and power and goodness of America has always been based on the strength and power and goodness of our communities, our families, and our faiths.

That's the bedrock of what makes America America. In our best days, we can feel the vibrancy of America's communities, large and small. It's when we see that new business opening up downtown. It's when we go to work in the morning and see everybody else in the block doing the same thing to read when our son or daughter calls from college to talk about which job offer they should take, and you try not to choke up when you hear that the one they like best is not too far from home.

It's that good feeling when you have more time to volunteer to coach for you kids soccer team or help out on school trips. For too many Americans, those kind of good days are harder to come by. How many days have you woken up feeling that something really special was happening in America? Many of you thought the way on election day four years ago. Hope and change had a powerful appeal. But tonight I would ask a simple question: if you felt that excitement when you voted for Barack Obama, shouldn't feel that way now, that he is President Obama?

You know there is something wrong with the kind of job he has done as president when the best feeling you had was the day you voted for him.

The president has not disappointed you because he wanted to. The president has disappointed America because he hasn't lead America in the right direction. He took office without the basic qualification that most Americans have, and one that was essential to the task at hand. He had almost no experience working in a business. Jobs to him are about government.

I learned the real lessons from how America works from experience. When I was 37, I helped to start a small company. My partners and I had been working for a company that was in the business of helping other businesses. So some of us have the idea that, if we really believe our advice was helping companies, we should invest in companies. We should bet on ourselves and our advice. So we started a new business called Bain Capital. The only problem was, while we believed in ourselves, not many other people did. We were young and had never done this before, and We almost did not get off the ground. In those days, sometimes I wondered if I had made a really big mistake.

By the way, I thought about asking my church's pension fund to invest, but I didn't.

I figured it was bad enough that I might lose my investors' money, but I did not want to go to hell, too.

Shows what I know. Another of my partners got the Episcopal church Pension Fund to invest. And today there are a lot of happy retired priests who should thank him.

That business we started with 10 people has now grown into a great American success story. Some of the companies we helped start are names you know you've have heard from tonight. An office company called Staples, where I'm pleased to see the Obama campaign has been shopping.

The Sports Authority, which of course became a favorite of my boys. We helped start an early childhood learning company called Bright Horizons that First Lady Michelle Obama rightly praised. And at a time when nobody thought we'd ever see a new steel mill built in America, we took a chance and build one in the cornfield in Indiana.

Today, Steel Dynamics is one of the largest steel producers in the United States. These are American success stories.

And yet the centerpiece of the president's entire reelection campaign is attacking success. Is it any wonder that someone who attacks success has led the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression?

In America, we celebrate success. We don't apologize for success.

Now we weren't always successful at Bain, but no one ever is in the real world of business. That's what this president does not seem to understand. Business and growing jobs is about taking risk, sometimes failing, sometimes succeeding, but always striving. It's about dreams. Usually it doesn't work out exactly as you might have imagined. Steve Jobs was fired at Apple, and then he came back and changed the world. It's the genius of the American free enterprise system to harness the extraordinary creativity, and talent and industry of the American people with a system that's dedicated to creating tomorrow's prosperity, not trying to redistribute today's.

That's why every president since the Great Depression who came before the American people asking for a second term could look back at the last four years and say with satisfaction, "You're are better off than you were four years ago." Except Jimmy Carter.

And except this president.

This president can ask us to be patient. This president can tell us it was someone else's fault. This president can tell us that the next four years will get it right. But this president cannot tell us that you're better off today than when he took office.

America has been patient. Americans have supported this president in good faith, but today the time has come the time to turn the page. Today the time has come for us to put the disappointments of the last four years behind us, to put aside the divisiveness and the recriminations, to forget about what might have been, and to look ahead to what can be. Now is the time to restore the promise of America.

Many Americans have given up on this president, but they haven't ever thought of giving up, not on themselves, not on each other, and not on America. What is needed in our country is not complicated or profound. It doesn't take a special government commission to tell us what America needs. What America needs is jobs, lots of jobs.

In the richest country in the history of the world, this Obama economy has crushed the middle class. Family income has fallen by $4,000 , but health insurance premiums are higher. Food prices are higher. Utility bills are higher, and gasoline prices, they've doubled. Today more Americans wake up in poverty than ever before. Nearly one out of six Americans is living in poverty. Look around you -- these aren't strangers. These are our brothers and sisters, our fellow Americans. His policies have not helped create jobs. They've depressed them, and this I can tell you about where President Obama would take America. His plan to put taxes on small businesses won't not add jobs. It will eliminate them.

His assault on coal and gas and oil will send energy and manufacturing jobs to china.

His trillion dollar cuts to our military will eliminate hundreds of thousands of jobs and also put our security at greater risk.

His $716 billion cut to Medicare to finance Obamacare will hurt today's seniors and depress innovation in jobs and medicines. And his trillion dollar deficits, they slow our economy, restrain employment, and cause wages to stall. To the majority of Americans who now believe the future will not be better than the past, I can guarantee you this -- if Barack Obama is reelected, you will be right.

I am running for president to help create a better future, a future where everyone who wants a job can find a job, where no senior fears for the security of their retirement, an America where every parent knows that their child will get an education that leads to a good job and a bright horizon, and unlike the president, I have a plan to create 12 million new jobs.

Paul Ryan and I have five steps. First, by 2020, North America will be an energy independent by taking invented of our oil, are coal, our gas, our nuclear, and renewables.

Second, we will give our fellow citizens the skills they need for the jobs of today and the careers of tomorrow. When it comes to the school your child will attend, every parent should have a choice, and every child should have a chance.

Third, we will make trade work for America by forging new trade agreements, and when nations cheat in trade, there will be unmistakable consequences.

And fourth, to assure every entrepreneur and every job creator that their investments in America will not vanish, as have those in Greece. We will cut the deficit and put America on track to a balanced budget.

And fifth, we will champion small businesses, America's engine of job growth. That means reducing taxes on business, not raising them. It means simplifying and modernizing the regulations that hurt small businesses the most, and it means we must rein in skyrocketing cost of health care by repealing and replacing Obamacare.

Today women are more likely than men to start of business. They need a president who respect and understand what they do. And let me make this clear. Unlike President Obama, I will not raise taxes on the middle class of America.

As president, I'll respect the sanctity of life. I'll honor the institution of marriage.

And I will guarantee America's first liberty, the freedom of religion.

President Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans.

And to heal the planet. My promises to help you and your family.

I will begin my presidency with the jobs tour. President Obama began his with an apology to our.

America he said had dictated to other nations. No, Mr. President America has feed other nations from dictators.

Every American...

Every American was relieved the day President Obama I gave the order and SEAL Team 6 took out Osama Bin Laden.

On another front, every American is less secure today because he has failed to slow Iran's nuclear threat. In his first TV interview as president, he said we should talk to Iran. We are still talking, and Iran's centrifuges are still spinning.

President Obama has thrown allies like Israel under the bus even as he has relaxed sanctions on Castor's Cuba. He abandoned our friends in Poland by walking away from missile defense commitments

But he's eager to give Russia's president Putin the flexibility he desires after the election.

Under my presidency our friends will see more loyalty and Mr. Putin will see a little less flexibility and more backbone.

We will honor America's Democratic ideals because a free world is a more peaceful world. This is the bipartisan foreign legacy of Truman and Reagan, and under presidency we will return to it once again.

You might have asked yourselves if these last years were really the America we want, the America that was won for us by the greatest generation. Does the America we want borrow a trillion dollars from China?

Does it fail to find the jobs that are needed for 23 million and for half the kids graduating from college?

Are those schools lagging behind the rest of the developed world?

And does America that we want succumb to resentment and division among Americans?

The America we all know has been a story of many becoming one. United to preserve liberty, uniting to build the greatest the economy in the world, uniting to save the world from unspeakable darkness.

Everywhere I go there are monuments and now for those who have given their lives for America. There is no mention of their race, their party affiliation, or what they did for a living.

They lived and died under a single flag, fighting for a single purpose. They've pledge allegiance to the United States of America. That America, that united America can unleash an economy that will put Americans back to work, that will once again lead the world with innovation and productivity, and will restore every father and mother's confidence that their children's future is brighter even than the past. That American, that united America will preserve a military that's so strong no nation will ever dare to test it.

That America, that America, that united America will of uphold the consolation of rights that were endowed by our creator and codified in our Constitution.

That United States of America will care for the poor and sick, will honor and respect the elderly and will giving a helping hand to those in need. That America is the best within each of us. That America we want for our children.

If I am elected president of these United States I will work with all my energy and soul to restore that America, to lift our eyes to a better future. That future is our destiny. That future is out there. It is waiting for us. Our children deserve it. Our nation depends on it. The peace and freedom of the world require it. And with your help we will deliver it. Let us the begin that future for America tonight.

Thank you so very much. May God bless you! May god bless the American people, and may God bless the United States of America!

Clint Eastwood to Ask America to: Make My Day…

There have been rumors and various speculations all week that there would be a special guest at the Republican National Convention.

Tonight is the final night of the abbreviated Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida shortened by one day due to safety concerns caused by Tropical Storm Issac.  There is a big line-up tonight including Florida Senator Marco Rubio and the acceptance speech from Mitt Romney himself plus now confirmed America’s beloved tough guy and former Carmel Mayor Clint Eastwood, who generally does not get involved in political campaigns.

Republicans managed to inject some drama into their convention this week, in addition to Isaac, with the speculation about who might share the stage with Mitt Romney in addition to Marco Rubio. Possible names have ranged from Sarah Palin to Rush Limbaugh, while others tabbed Tim Tebow, the evangelistic New York Jets quarterback, or perhaps real estate mogul Donald Trump who was cut after Monday’s program deleted. Even former Presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush were mulled as possibilities as well as Nancy Reagan by video and Clint Eastwood, and then Fox News reported Wednesday that a Republican source said it would be the "Million Dollar Baby" (Blu-ray) director and former Mayor of Carmel, California.

It has now been fully confirmed that Mitt Romney will have a familiar gravelly voiced act to follow tonight. Academy Award-winning actor and director Clint Eastwood will be the mystery speaker expected to address the RNC crowd before the Republican presidential hopeful takes the podium, tonight, on the last night of the GOP convention in Tampa.

The GOP has typically kept a wary distance from Hollywood and in-turn many conservative Hollywood types from politics.  All the same, given Jon Voight’s vocal presence at the Tampa summit, as well as the public backing provided by other conservative celebrities like Chuck Norris, Kelsey Grammer, Ted Nugent and Janine Turner (a speaker at the convention), a bit of strategically placed celebrity advocacy during election season tends to draw media attention, at the very least.  Some think Jon Voight might have been instrumental in getting Clint to appear at the convention. Mitt is also liked, respected and supported by most of the athletes who participated in the Utah Olympics; several appeared at the convention.

Earlier this year, Eastwood came under criticism from conservatives for a Super Bowl ad that some interpreted as a tacit endorsement of President Obama. But Eastwood officially  endorsed Romney at a fundraiser in Sun Valley, Idaho, earlier this month.

Eastwood, best known for his on-screen roles as "Dirty Harry" will be a great addition to the final night of the convention.  When asked by Fox’s Neil Cavuto, from the Fox Business Channel, House Minority Leader Eric Cantor said, “All Clint needs to do is walk on stage… stop for a pregnant pause and say, “Make My Day”  and Americans of all stripes would get the message!  Let us hope they will!!

Paul Ryan Issues Blistering Indictment of Barack Obama and Fires Up the House

Chris Maddaloni/CQ Roll Call  -  Before a rapt audience in the  Tampa Bay Times Forum, GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan (above) delivered a speech filled with red-meat attacks on the president's record and mixed in humor, personal anecdotes and praise for Mitt Romney's record.

Roll Call:

TAMPA, Fla. - Rep. Paul Ryan electrified the Republican National Convention on Wednesday with a blistering indictment of President Barack Obama as he accepted the GOP's nomination for vice president.

Before a rapt audience in the Tampa Bay Times Forum, Ryan delivered a speech filled with red-meat attacks on the president's record and mixed in humor, personal anecdotes and praise for Mitt Romney's record.

Obama, he said, had failed on jobs and failed to tackle the deficit.

"College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life," he ripped to roars from the crowd. "Everyone who feels stuck in the Obama economy is right to focus on the here and now. And I hope you understand this too, if you're feeling left out or passed by: You have not failed, your leaders have failed you."

Ryan issued an urgent call to deal with the nation's almost $16 trillion national debt and accused the president of doing nothing about it.

"They've run out of ideas. Their moment came and went. Fear and division are all they've got left," he said.

Ryan said it's time Obama stopped making excuses.

"It all started off with stirring speeches, Greek columns, the thrill of something new. Now all that's left is a presidency adrift. . The man assumed office almost four years ago - isn't it about time he assumed responsibility?"

Obama, Ryan argued, failed to make job creation his priority and wasted money on the stimulus.

But some of his harshest attacks came on the issue of health care, where he accused the president of engineering a costly takeover that goes against the nation's founding principles.

"Obamacare comes to more than 2,000 pages of rules, mandates, taxes, fees and fines that have no place in a free country," Ryan said.

And Ryan criticized Obama for siphoning money from Medicare to pay for it - repeating the Romney-Ryan campaign's counterpunch on the attacks Democrats have repeated for the last year on Ryan's own budget blueprint to remake and slash the long-term costs of the program.

"You see, even with all the hidden taxes to pay for the health care takeover, even with new taxes on nearly a million small businesses, the planners in Washington still didn't have enough money. They needed more. They needed hundreds of billions more. So, they just took it all away from Medicare. ...The greatest threat to Medicare is Obamacare, and we're going to stop it."

Ryan also sought to personalize his connection with the program in an effort to turn away Democratic charges that he wants to end it.

"In Congress, when they take out the heavy books and wall charts about Medicare, my thoughts go back to a house on Garfield Street in Janesville. My wonderful grandma, Janet, had Alzheimer's and moved in with Mom and me. Though she felt lost at times, we did all the little things that made her feel loved," he said.

"We had help from Medicare, and it was there, just like it's there for my mom today. Medicare is a promise, and we will honor it. A Romney-Ryan administration will protect and strengthen Medicare, for my mom's generation, for my generation and for my kids and yours."

Posturing on Medicare, he said, would no longer work.

"Mitt Romney and I know the difference between protecting a program and raiding it. Ladies and gentlemen, our nation needs this debate. We want this debate. We will win this debate."

And he accused Obama of doing nothing in the face of the mounting debt.

"They have no answer to this simple reality: We need to stop spending money we don't have. . And I'm going to level with you: We don't have that much time. But if we are serious and smart and we lead, we can do this."

Ryan also spoke warmly of Romney, praising his experience in business and with the Olympics and his tenure as governor of Massachusetts. But he had the audience laughing when he joked about their different iPod playlists.

"There are the songs on his iPod, which I've heard on the campaign bus and on many hotel elevators. He actually urged me to play some of these songs at campaign rallies. I said, 'I hope it's not a deal-breaker Mitt, but my playlist starts with AC/DC, and ends with Zeppelin,'" Ryan said.

But Ryan said that while they are different people from different backgrounds, he and Romney share a vision for the future and a commitment to face up to the nation's problems.

"We will not duck the tough issues, we will lead," he said. "We will not spend four years blaming others, we will take responsibility. We will not try to replace our founding principles, we will reapply our founding principles.

The work ahead will be hard. These times demand the best of us - all of us, but we can do this. Together, we can do this."

Full Transcript Of Paul Ryan's Speech To the RNC

Paul Ryan today delivered remarks to the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida. The following remarks were prepared for delivery:

Mr. Chairman, delegates, and fellow citizens: I am honored by the support of this convention for vice president of the United States.

I accept the duty to help lead our nation out of a jobs crisis and back to prosperity – and I know we can do this.

I accept the calling of my generation to give our children the America that was given to us, with opportunity for the young and security for the old – and I know that we are ready.

Our nominee is sure ready. His whole life has prepared him for this moment – to meet serious challenges in a serious way, without excuses and idle words. After four years of getting the run-around, America needs a turnaround, and the man for the job is Governor Mitt Romney.

I’m the newcomer to the campaign, so let me share a first impression. I have never seen opponents so silent about their record, and so desperate to keep their power.

They’ve run out of ideas. Their moment came and went. Fear and division are all they’ve got left.

With all their attack ads, the president is just throwing away money – and he’s pretty experienced at that. You see, some people can’t be dragged down by the usual cheap tactics, because their ability, character, and plain decency are so obvious – and ladies and gentlemen, that is Mitt Romney.

For my part, your nomination is an unexpected turn. It certainly came as news to my family, and I’d like you to meet them: My wife Janna, our daughter Liza, and our boys Charlie and Sam.

The kids are happy to see their grandma, who lives in Florida. There she is – my Mom, Betty.

My Dad, a small-town lawyer, was also named Paul. Until we lost him when I was 16, he was a gentle presence in my life. I like to think he’d be proud of me and my sister and brothers, because I’m sure proud of him and of where I come from, Janesville, Wisconsin.

I live on the same block where I grew up. We belong to the same parish where I was baptized. Janesville is that kind of place.

The people of Wisconsin have been good to me. I’ve tried to live up to their trust. And now I ask those hardworking men and women, and millions like them across America, to join our cause and get this country working again.

When Governor Romney asked me to join the ticket, I said, “Let’s get this done” – and that is exactly, what we’re going to do.

President Barack Obama came to office during an economic crisis, as he has reminded us a time or two. Those were very tough days, and any fair measure of his record has to take that into account. My home state voted for President Obama. When he talked about change, many people liked the sound of it, especially in Janesville, where we were about to lose a major factory.

A lot of guys I went to high school with worked at that GM plant. Right there at that plant, candidate Obama said: “I believe that if our government is there to support you … this plant will be here for another hundred years.” That’s what he said in 2008.

Well, as it turned out, that plant didn’t last another year. It is locked up and empty to this day. And that’s how it is in so many towns today, where the recovery that was promised is nowhere in sight.

Right now, 23 million men and women are struggling to find work. Twenty-three million people, unemployed or underemployed. Nearly one in six Americans is living in poverty. Millions of young Americans have graduated from college during the Obama presidency, ready to use their gifts and get moving in life. Half of them can’t find the work they studied for, or any work at all.

So here’s the question: Without a change in leadership, why would the next four years be any different from the last four years?

The first troubling sign came with the stimulus. It was President Obama’s first and best shot at fixing the economy, at a time when he got everything he wanted under one-party rule. It cost $831 billion – the largest one-time expenditure ever by our federal government.

It went to companies like Solyndra, with their gold-plated connections, subsidized jobs, and make-believe markets. The stimulus was a case of political patronage, corporate welfare, and cronyism at their worst. You, the working men and women of this country, were cut out of the deal.

What did the taxpayers get out of the Obama stimulus? More debt. That money wasn’t just spent and wasted – it was borrowed, spent, and wasted.

Maybe the greatest waste of all was time. Here we were, faced with a massive job crisis – so deep that if everyone out of work stood in single file, that unemployment line would stretch the length of the entire American continent. You would think that any president, whatever his party, would make job creation, and nothing else, his first order of economic business.

But this president didn’t do that. Instead, we got a long, divisive, all-or-nothing attempt to put the federal government in charge of health care.
Obamacare comes to more than two thousand pages of rules, mandates, taxes, fees, and fines that have no place in a free country.

The president has declared that the debate over government-controlled health care is over. That will come as news to the millions of Americans who will elect Mitt Romney so we can repeal Obamacare.

And the biggest, coldest power play of all in Obamacare came at the expense of the elderly.

You see, even with all the hidden taxes to pay for the health care takeover, even with new taxes on nearly a million small businesses, the planners in Washington still didn’t have enough money. They needed more. They needed hundreds of billions more. So, they just took it all away from Medicare. Seven hundred and sixteen billion dollars, funneled out of Medicare by President Obama. An obligation we have to our parents and grandparents is being sacrificed, all to pay for a new entitlement we didn’t even ask for. The greatest threat to Medicare is Obamacare, and we’re going to stop it.

In Congress, when they take out the heavy books and wall charts about Medicare, my thoughts go back to a house on Garfield Street in Janesville. My wonderful grandma, Janet, had Alzheimer’s and moved in with Mom and me. Though she felt lost at times, we did all the little things that made her feel loved.

We had help from Medicare, and it was there, just like it’s there for my Mom today. Medicare is a promise, and we will honor it. A Romney-Ryan administration will protect and strengthen Medicare, for my Mom’s generation, for my generation, and for my kids and yours.

So our opponents can consider themselves on notice. In this election, on this issue, the usual posturing on the Left isn’t going to work. Mitt Romney and I know the difference between protecting a program, and raiding it. Ladies and gentlemen, our nation needs this debate. We want this debate. We will win this debate.

Obamacare, as much as anything else, explains why a presidency that began with such anticipation now comes to such a disappointing close.

It began with a financial crisis; it ends with a job crisis.

It began with a housing crisis they alone didn’t cause; it ends with a housing crisis they didn’t correct.

It began with a perfect Triple-A credit rating for the United States; it ends with a downgraded America.

It all started off with stirring speeches, Greek columns, the thrill of something new. Now all that’s left is a presidency adrift, surviving on slogans that already seem tired, grasping at a moment that has already passed, like a ship trying to sail on yesterday’s wind.

President Obama was asked not long ago to reflect on any mistakes he might have made. He said, well, “I haven’t communicated enough.” He said his job is to “tell a story to the American people” – as if that’s the whole problem here? He needs to talk more, and we need to be better listeners?

Ladies and gentlemen, these past four years we have suffered no shortage of words in the White House. What’s missing is leadership in the White House. And the story that Barack Obama does tell, forever shifting blame to the last administration, is getting old. The man assumed office almost four years ago – isn’t it about time he assumed responsibility?

In this generation, a defining responsibility of government is to steer our nation clear of a debt crisis while there is still time. Back in 2008, candidate Obama called a $10 trillion national debt “unpatriotic” – serious talk from what looked to be a serious reformer.

Yet by his own decisions, President Obama has added more debt than any other president before him, and more than all the troubled governments of Europe combined. One president, one term, $5 trillion in new debt.

He created a bipartisan debt commission. They came back with an urgent report. He thanked them, sent them on their way, and then did exactly nothing.

Republicans stepped up with good-faith reforms and solutions equal to the problems. How did the president respond? By doing nothing – nothing except to dodge and demagogue the issue.

So here we are, $16 trillion in debt and still he does nothing. In Europe, massive debts have put entire governments at risk of collapse, and still he does nothing. And all we have heard from this president and his team are attacks on anyone who dares to point out the obvious.

They have no answer to this simple reality: We need to stop spending money we don’t have.

My Dad used to say to me: “Son. You have a choice: You can be part of the problem, or you can be part of the solution.” The present administration has made its choices. And Mitt Romney and I have made ours: Before the math and the momentum overwhelm us all, we are going to solve this nation’s economic problems.

And I’m going to level with you: We don’t have that much time. But if we are serious, and smart, and we lead, we can do this.

After four years of government trying to divide up the wealth, we will get America creating wealth again. With tax fairness and regulatory reform, we’ll put government back on the side of the men and women who create jobs, and the men and women who need jobs.

My Mom started a small business, and I’ve seen what it takes. Mom was 50 when my Dad died. She got on a bus every weekday for years, and rode 40 miles each morning to Madison. She earned a new degree and learned new skills to start her small business. It wasn’t just a new livelihood. It was a new life. And it transformed my Mom from a widow in grief to a small businesswoman whose happiness wasn’t just in the past. Her work gave her hope. It made our family proud. And to this day, my Mom is my role model.

Behind every small business, there’s a story worth knowing. All the corner shops in our towns and cities, the restaurants, cleaners, gyms, hair salons, hardware stores – these didn’t come out of nowhere. A lot of heart goes into each one. And if small businesspeople say they made it on their own, all they are saying is that nobody else worked seven days a week in their place. Nobody showed up in their place to open the door at five in the morning. Nobody did their thinking, and worrying, and sweating for them. After all that work, and in a bad economy, it sure doesn’t help to hear from their president that government gets the credit. What they deserve to hear is the truth: Yes, you did build that.

We have a plan for a stronger middle class, with the goal of generating 12 million new jobs over the next four years.

In a clean break from the Obama years, and frankly from the years before this president, we will keep federal spending at 20 percent of GDP, or less. That is enough. The choice is whether to put hard limits on economic growth, or hard limits on the size of government, and we choose to limit government.

I learned a good deal about economics, and about America, from the author of the Reagan tax reforms – the great Jack Kemp. What gave Jack that incredible enthusiasm was his belief in the possibilities of free people, in the power of free enterprise and strong communities to overcome poverty and despair. We need that same optimism right now.

And in our dealings with other nations, a Romney-Ryan administration will speak with confidence and clarity. Wherever men and women rise up for their own freedom, they will know that the American president is on their side. Instead of managing American decline, leaving allies to doubt us and adversaries to test us, we will act in the conviction that the United States is still the greatest force for peace and liberty that this world has ever known.
President Obama is the kind of politician who puts promises on the record, and then calls that the record. But we are four years into this presidency. The issue is not the economy as Barack Obama inherited it, not the economy as he envisions it, but this economy as we are living it.

College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life. Everyone who feels stuck in the Obama economy is right to focus on the here and now. And I hope you understand this too, if you’re feeling left out or passed by: You have not failed, your leaders have failed you.

None of us have to settle for the best this administration offers – a dull, adventureless journey from one entitlement to the next, a government-planned life, a country where everything is free but us.

Listen to the way we’re spoken to already, as if everyone is stuck in some class or station in life, victims of circumstances beyond our control, with government there to help us cope with our fate.

It’s the exact opposite of everything I learned growing up in Wisconsin, or at college in Ohio. When I was waiting tables, washing dishes, or mowing lawns for money, I never thought of myself as stuck in some station in life. I was on my own path, my own journey, an American journey where I could think for myself, decide for myself, define happiness for myself. That’s what we do in this country. That’s the American Dream. That’s freedom, and I’ll take it any day over the supervision and sanctimony of the central planners.

By themselves, the failures of one administration are not a mandate for a new administration. A challenger must stand on his own merits. He must be ready and worthy to serve in the office of president.

We’re a full generation apart, Governor Romney and I. And, in some ways, we’re a little different. There are the songs on his iPod, which I’ve heard on the campaign bus and on many hotel elevators. He actually urged me to play some of these songs at campaign rallies. I said, I hope it’s not a deal-breaker Mitt, but my playlist starts with AC/DC, and ends with Zeppelin.

A generation apart. That makes us different, but not in any of the things that matter. Mitt Romney and I both grew up in the heartland, and we know what places like Wisconsin and Michigan look like when times are good, when people are working, when families are doing more than just getting by. And we both know it can be that way again.

We’ve had very different careers – mine mainly in public service, his mostly in the private sector. He helped start businesses and turn around failing ones. By the way, being successful in business – that’s a good thing.

Mitt has not only succeeded, but succeeded where others could not. He turned around the Olympics at a time when a great institution was collapsing under the weight of bad management, overspending, and corruption – sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

He was the Republican governor of a state where almost nine in ten legislators are Democrats, and yet he balanced the budget without raising taxes. Unemployment went down, household incomes went up, and Massachusetts, under Mitt Romney, saw its credit rating upgraded.

Mitt and I also go to different churches. But in any church, the best kind of preaching is done by example. And I’ve been watching that example. The man who will accept your nomination tomorrow is prayerful and faithful and honorable. Not only a defender of marriage, he offers an example of marriage at its best. Not only a fine businessman, he’s a fine man, worthy of leading this optimistic and good-hearted country.

Our different faiths come together in the same moral creed. We believe that in every life there is goodness; for every person, there is hope. Each one of us was made for a reason, bearing the image and likeness of the Lord of Life.

We have responsibilities, one to another – we do not each face the world alone. And the greatest of all responsibilities, is that of the strong to protect the weak. The truest measure of any society is how it treats those who cannot defend or care for themselves.

Each of these great moral ideas is essential to democratic government – to the rule of law, to life in a humane and decent society. They are the moral creed of our country, as powerful in our time, as on the day of America’s founding. They are self-evident and unchanging, and sometimes, even presidents need reminding, that our rights come from nature and God, not from government.

The founding generation secured those rights for us, and in every generation since, the best among us have defended our freedoms. They are protecting us right now. We honor them and all our veterans, and we thank them.

The right that makes all the difference now, is the right to choose our own leaders. And you are entitled to the clearest possible choice, because the time for choosing is drawing near. So here is our pledge.

We will not duck the tough issues, we will lead.

We will not spend four years blaming others, we will take responsibility.

We will not try to replace our founding principles, we will reapply our founding principles.

The work ahead will be hard. These times demand the best of us – all of us, but we can do this. Together, we can do this.

We can get this country working again. We can get this economy growing again. We can make the safety net safe again. We can do this.

Whatever your political party, let’s come together for the sake of our country. Join Mitt Romney and me. Let’s give this effort everything we have. Let’s see this through all the way. Let’s get this done.

Thank you, and God bless.

NewsBustersJay Leno Insists Republican ‘War on Women’ Is Real

Defending President Obama to guest Dennis Miller, Jay Leno admired Obama for how “he has compassion for regular people” that’s “missing” from the Republican Party which is carrying out “this sort of war on women.” When, on Monday’s Tonight Show, Miller mocked the idea of such a Republican “war on women,” Leno insisted: “I think it is.”

Revealing his true political views usually obscured by his monologue pokes at Obama, Leno proceeded to argue that Todd Akin is “an idiot but he was saying what the platform is. And that’s what many believe.” Mitt Romney, NBC’s late night host allowed, “is a a good guy and a decent man” who, Leno rued, has “had to go all the way right.”

From the Monday, August 27 Tonight Show:

DENNIS MILLER: I don’t dislike President Obama. I just think that it’s been an inept four years. And you know, I’m just calling it as I see it. I know you like him. What am I missing over the last four years? It just does not seem that good to me.
JAY LENO: Well, I think he has compassion for regular people. I think that’s what -- I think if the Republican Party is missing anything, it’s this sort of war on women, and, and compassion-
MILLER: War on women? With Sandra Fluke? She’s 30, for God’s sake. She’s still in school. She wants me to kick in ten bucks a month for her birth control? Here, I’ll give you ten. Just shut up for a second, okay? [Cheers and applause] This woman, Jay, the war on women, for God’s sake.
LENO: I think it is. I think it is.

LENO: No, but Todd Akin was-
MILLER: He’s an idiot.
LENO: He’s an idiot, but he was saying what the platform is. And that’s what many believe. I’m glad he came forward because it kind of showed – that kind of got pushed to the background and I think it shows what many believe. Because I think Romney is a a good guy and a decent man. I just think he had to go all the way right, which I think will ultimately hurt him in the long run.

A Sneak Peek At Ann Romney's Speech

Here are a few snippets the Romney campaign released of Ann Romney's speech, which she'll deliver tonight at the Republican convention in Tampa:

Tonight I want to talk to you from my heart about our hearts.

“I want to talk not about what divides us, but what holds us together as an American family. I want to talk to you tonight about that one great thing that unites us, that one thing that brings us our greatest joy when times are good, and the deepest solace in our dark hours.

“Tonight I want to talk to you about love. …

“Mitt's dad never graduated from college. Instead, he became a carpenter.

“He worked hard, and he became the head of a car company, and then the governor of Michigan.

“When Mitt and I met and fell in love, we were determined not to let anything stand in the way of our life together. …

“I read somewhere that Mitt and I have a ‘storybook marriage.’ Well, in the storybooks I read, there were never long, long, rainy winter afternoons in a house with five boys screaming at once. And those storybooks never seemed to have chapters called MS or Breast Cancer.

“A storybook marriage? No, not at all. What Mitt Romney and I have is a real marriage. …

“At every turn in his life, this man I met at a high school dance, has helped lift up others. He did it with the Olympics, when many wanted to give up. …
“This is the man America needs.

“This is the man who will wake up every day with the determination to solve the problems that others say can't be solved, to fix what others say is beyond repair. This is the man who will work harder than anyone so that we can work a little less hard.

“I can't tell you what will happen over the next four years. But I can only stand here tonight, as a wife, a mother, a grandmother, an American, and make you this solemn commitment:

“This man will not fail.
“This man will not let us down.
“This man will lift up America!”

Ann Romney is Governor Romney's secret weapon. That's exactly why the Obama Media alphabet networks won't carry this live.

I hope she discusses, as she did earlier on CNN the way Governor Romney cared for her when she was ill with MS.

Oh and by the way, Ann Romney has always been proud of her country.

The Most Important Press Conference Ever Held at Any Time in U.S. History: Part II

If you only read and share one article between now and the Election I’d suggest this one!

New Film “The Unvetted” Exposes Obama’s Communist Cover-up

Right Side News

A new film from America’s Survival, Inc. documents what journalist Cliff Kincaid calls “one of the most extraordinary cover-ups in American history –how a presidential candidate with a covert connection to a major Communist Party operative was protected by the major liberal and conservative media.”

Kincaid is the president of America’s Survival, Inc. (ASI) and recently held a Washington, D.C. conference on “The Vetting” of Barack Obama. The 30 minute film The Unvetted is available for viewing for free at the ASI YouTube channel.

“Four years after we broke the story wide open with the release of a 600-page FBI file on Barack Obama’s communist mentor, we are still finding major elements of the media with their heads in the sand,” Kincaid said, in announcing the official release of the new film. Kincaid is a veteran Washington journalist with more than 30 years of experience.

The film is produced in cooperation with AB INDEPENDENT PRODUCTIONS, headed by Agustin Blazquez, producer/director of many documentaries, including “Che: The Other Side of an Icon.” The “Che” documentary, which told the truth about Castro’s communist revolution, was rejected for funding and airing by public television.

Watch the video here:

Working with blogger Trevor Loudon, Kincaid describes in the film how they uncovered the fact that Obama had concealed the identity of Frank Marshall Davis in his memoir Dreams from My Father, calling him just “Frank” and depicting him as a poet and writer.

“Obama knew that Frank Marshall Davis was an associate and mentor and that he had to protect his communist identity from public scrutiny,” Kincaid points out.

The film includes an interview with Kincaid and some of the original source material used to document Obama’s relationship with Davis.

“We expected silence and ridicule from the liberal media when we exposed Obama’s ‘Frank’ as Communist Frank Marshall Davis,” Kincaid said. “But the Drudge Report would not run my ads on Frank Marshall Davis during the fall of 2008. Fox News did not cover our news conference in May of 2008 revealing the communist identity of ‘Frank’ from Obama’s book.”

Kincaid went on, “The conservative media must stop protecting Obama from the scrutiny he deserves. Our film ‘The Unvetted’ explains this scandal and cover-up. Our sincere thanks to Right Side News for telling the story that has to be told. Right Side News is a news source that you can trust. They deserve your support as we go forward exposing this most deadly and dangerous of cover-ups.”

Videos and documents from Kincaid’s conference on “The Vetting” of Obama can be found at the website www.LeninandSharia.com The conference featured speeches by, among others, Trevor Loudon; filmmaker Joel Gilbert, director of a new film on the possibility that Davis was Obama’s real father; Paul Kengor, author of a new book on Davis entitled The Communist; and former KGB officer Konstantin Preobrazhensky, who gave a report on Soviet/Russian cooperation with Arab and Islamic terrorist groups and states.

The Most Important Press Conference Ever Held at Any Time in U.S. History: Part I

RightSideNews:

This is the sequence to the Part I exclusive published by Right Side News on Wednesday, August 1st.  In Part I, Trevor Loudon, who was among the first to expose Obama's radicalism, exposes the relationship between President Obama and a high level, pro-Soviet operative, Alice Palmer, actively involved with known Soviet and communist front organizations at the height of the Cold War. She worked closely with the future U.S. president for several years, in the same socialist and communist networks that dominated the left side of Chicago politics...

Also in Part I of James Simpson's report, speaker Konstantin Preobrazhensky, a KGB defector, explained in vivid detail how and why the Soviet Union became the real force behind Muslim terrorism, including al Qaeda. We continue to Part II by James Simpson.

The Most Important Press Conference Ever Held at Any Time in U.S. History: Part II

Cliff Kincaid of America’s Survival held the critical National Press Club event on July 19th: The Vetting: Obama, Radical Islam and the Soros Connection. At this pivotal time, we face a national election that may well determine the fate of our great country. And as America goes, so goes the world.

Thus, it is not an exaggeration to describe this as the most important press conference in U.S. history, because it explicitly details, with new facts and more evidence than ever presented in one place at one time, from extensive, highly credible sources, the dangerously extremist nature of President Obama and the true goals of his virulently anti-American, radical leftist administration.

Cliff_Kincaid_and_Andrew_BreitbartIt further reveals how a huge network of U.S. and foreign communist and hard left organizations connected to this President has colluded with radical Islam for decades to oversee the destruction of their mutual enemy: America. Overshadowing all is the malevolent Soros network, and the billions he and others like him are devoting to facilitate this goal.

This information simply must reach the electorate before November.

In kicking off this conference, Kincaid announced:“Our July 19 conference fulfills the late Andrew Breitbart’s promise to finally ‘vet’ the president. The diabolical dangers of Marxism and radical Islam must be exposed. It is time for the shocking truth about Obama and his agenda to emerge.”

Frank Marshall Davis’s Influence on Barack Obama

Paul_KengorPaul Kengor is professor of political science at Grove City College and Executive Director of Grove City’s Center for Vision and Values. He is also a prolific author. His presentation at the Kincaid conference focused on his latest book, The Communist, Frank Marshall Davis: The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor. Other notable recent works include “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism” and “Dupes: How America’s Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century.”

In The Communist, Kengor delves deep into Davis’s past to produce an extensively documented biography of the man who had perhaps the most influence on Barack Obama of anyone in his life. Davis was a highly influential member of the American Communist Party, CPUSA member #47544, according to the FBI. He spent a lifetime engaged in pro-Soviet, communist activities. He likely moved to Hawaii to engage in surveillance for the Soviets, who considered the islands – not yet a U.S. state – of key military significance. Kengor shows just how deep Davis’s communist ties were, and how important he was to Obama’s worldview. Some highlights follow:

  • Obama repeatedly describes Davis’ tremendous influence on him in his book “Dreams from My Father.”
  • Davis is mentioned 22 times in “Dreams,” at least once in every section of the book
  • Despite his pivotal importance, Obama never once identifies Davis by his full name
  • All references to “Frank” have been purged from “Dreams” audio excerpts
  • From the 1920s, American communists attempted to recruit black Americans
  • From the 1920s, Soviet Union was sending money to American blacks
  • Soviet goal was to create a separate “Negro Republic” in the American south
  • Later they would join revolution to help create “Soviet America”
  • Davis joined the Communist Party about 1943, after the Hitler/Stalin Pact was signed
  • Davis founded and edited the CPUSA’s Chicago Star newspaper; regularly wrote virulently anti-American “Frank-ly Speaking” editorial
  • Davis had “direct line to the Kremlin;” obtained exclusive interview for Star reporter with Soviet Foreign Minister Molotov
  • Soviet agents I.F. Stone and Lee Pressman wrote for the Star
  • Star editorial writer Howard Fast was a communist Hollywood screenwriter and winner of the Stalin Prize
  • Two top Obama aides are connected to Davis cronies
  • Vernon Jarrett (father-in-law of top Obama advisor, Valerie Jarrett) and Robert R. Taylor (Valerie Jarrett’s grandfather) knew and worked with Davis in Chicago on a communist project, the “American Peace Mobilization”
  • Communist and suspected Soviet agent David Canter worked with Davis in Chicago
  • Canter later mentored Obama chief strategist, David Axelrod. Axelrod coined “Hope and Change” slogan
  • Soviet Union had strong strategic interest in Hawaii, not yet a state when Davis moved there
  • Canter family and others purchased the Chicago Star to facilitate Davis’s move, and renamed it “The Progressive.”
  • Communist Party founded Honolulu Record in August 1948, just in time for Davis’s move;
  • Davis picked up at the Record where he left off, writing the same “Frank-ly Speaking” column until the paper’s demise in 1958
  • FBI file shows that Davis was getting paid by International Longshoremen and Warehousemen’s Union,
  • ILWU, run by CPUSA Central Committeeman Harry Bridges, was recognized as the union most penetrated by communists
  • Davis used camera with telescopic lens to photograph Hawaiian shoreline
  • Davis’s editorials for Both Star and Honolulu Record consistently followed the Soviet line
  • For these and other Communist Party activities, FBI suspected Davis was working for Soviets
  • FBI placed Davis on Security Index. Upon outbreak of war with USSR, Davis was subject to immediate arrest
  • Davis was listed as a communist party member in a 1957 Senate Judiciary Committee report titled “Scope of Soviet Activity in the United States” which covered subversive activities in Hawaii

Until 1989, the Soviet Union controlled, directed and bankrolled all activities of the American Communist Party. All CPUSA members were therefore de facto Soviet agents, knowingly or otherwise. From all appearances, CPUSA member #47544, Frank Marshall Davis, knew it. He was very likely assigned to Hawaii specifically for surveillance and subversive purposes. So Frank Marshall Davis, Soviet agent or communist dupe, was the person with the most profound influence on our sitting President. Is Barack Obama similarly disposed? It certainly appears that way. And the next speaker presented a case that furthers this thesis.

Dreams from My Real Fatherobama-real-father-film

Joel Gilbert is the president of Highway 61 Entertainment in Los Angeles. He is a contributing editor for the national security and foreign policy website familysecuritymatters.org, and has appeared frequently as a foreign policy analyst on national radio shows. He is the writer and director of the notable films Atomic Jihad: Ahmadinejad's Coming War for Islamic Revival and Obama's Politics of Defeat and Farewell Israel: Bush, Iran, and the Revolt of Islam.

At the Kincaid conference he spoke about his new, groundbreaking film, “Dreams from My Real Father: A Story of Reds and Deception.” At first blush, I, like Cliff and others, was skeptical. But Gilbert extensively researched his subjects for this film, and uncovered previously unknown information about Obama’s family that lends strong credibility to his argument. Gilbert’s film convincingly advances the thesis that CPUSA member Frank Marshall Davis was not only Obama’s ideological father, but his biological father as well. It presents a “cohesive understanding of Obama’s deep-rooted life journey in socialism.” Evidence includes:

  • A series of nude photos of Obama’s mother, Anne Dunham, taken by Davis at his Hawaii home when Dunham was five weeks pregnant with Obama
  • Photos were sold to be used in a men’s mail order nude photo album
  • Davis wrote extensively of sexual encounters with “Anne” in his autobiographical novel, “Sex Rebel Black”, and she was the subject of one of his erotic poems.
  • Documents showing that Dunham attended college in Seattle, Washington immediately following Obama’s birth and was not in Hawaii with Obama Sr. as Obama claims
  • Obama Sr. was already married to a woman in Kenya and had children of his own
  • Marrying Anne would allow Obama to extend his stay
  • Obama Sr. was brought to America through a CIA program and was welcomed to Hawaii by Anne Dunham’s father, Stanley
  • Stanley Dunham had a strong personal incentive to hide his daughter’s relationship with Davis from authorities
  • Obama’s physical features, including his height, build, facial features and freckles are very similar to Davis but nothing like Obama Sr. The correct pronunciation of “Barack” is “BEER-ick,” a pronunciation Obama never uses
  • Obama’s poem, “Pop” was written about Davis

This and other information points to the conclusion that Davis was in fact Obama’s real father. Anne Dunham’s marriage to Obama was a sham to disguise her illegitimate pregnancy by Davis, a communist and probable Soviet agent.

Gilbert suggests that Obama’s birth certificate originally said “Father Unknown.” This thesis was also advanced by Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s cold case posse when they demonstrated that Obama’s published birth certificate had been tampered with. Gilbert unveils additional discoveries:

  • Obama joined the communist May 19th organization according to a former member
  • May 19th was a support group for the Weather Underground
  • May 19th members went to Cuba to be trained in explosives by Cuban intelligence
  • May 19th members were involved in the 1981 Brinks robbery, murdering two policemen and a Brinks employee
  • Obama likely met Ayers while at Columbia
  • Obama attended a Socialist Scholars Conference in spring of 1983 with Bill Ayers
  • Obama was a “red diaper baby” as was Obama strategist David Axelrod

Gilbert further catalogs Obama’s lifetime among the radical left which he has covered with deception and lies. Obama has pushed a phony, contrived background to mask an agenda unacceptable to most Americans.

In closing, Gilbert related that he has received many emails from viewers of the DVD expressing their concerns about Obama. One notable message from a Vietnam veteran worried that America is about to lose its freedom, and asked: “What did I fight for? Please can you get this information out to millions? It is our only hope…”

Gilbert then announced:

“Because of people like [the veteran] and because almost all levels of the media are suppressing the vital facts about Obama… I’m announcing that my distribution company is planning to send a free copy in the U.S. mail to millions of households… this process has already begun. …We are expanding across all of the United States until every American understands the deadly Marxist dreams Obama has for us, from his real father, Frank Marshall Davis.”

Weather Underground: White Reds Exploiting Blacks

Larry Grathwohl is the only FBI informant to successfully penetrate the Weather Underground (WU). He testified before several federal Grand Juries, the U.S. Senate, and at the Mark Felt/Ed Miller FBI trail. He wrote the 1976 book, Bringing Down America, and now works with America’s Survival, Inc. to re-establish Congressional committees to investigate internal security problems. Larry continues to provide insights into this malevolent organization and its most famous members, Obama BFFs, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. At the Kincaid conference he presents his report, White Reds Exploiting Blacks: The Weather Underground, Barack Obama, and the Fundamental Transformation of the United States.

Larry started by relating that FBI background investigations used to apply something called the CARL standard. CARL stands for Character, Associates, Reputation and Loyalty. By that standard, President Obama fails on all counts, but in particular, his associates are damning evidence of an attitude irreconcilably hostile to America, the country he is supposed to be serving as the highest elected official in the land.

Those of us familiar with Bill Ayers know that he authored Prairie Fire, WU’s communist manifesto, and that it was dedicated to people including Bobby Kennedy’s killer, Sirhan Sirhan. Most people are unaware that Ayers was denied a position at

According to Grathwohl, Ayers once said that both Kennedy assassinations were a good thing. In his own words:

I remember one meeting when our Weatherman “collective” brought up the subject of the Kennedy assassinations. At least 20 to 25 people were present and Bill Ayers was one of them. I heard Bill state that the murders of both John F. Kennedy and Robert F Kennedy were a good thing because liberals compromise the conflict between U.S. imperialism and the socialist revolution. Liberals prevent the contradictions from becoming obvious and thus prevent a revolution. Therefore, the assassinations of the Kennedys were to be welcomed as a necessary advance on the road to communist world revolution.

In other words, if someone’s existence messes up the narrative, Ayers says get rid of him! Robert Kennedy’s son, Christopher, who sits on the board of the University of Illinois, saw to it that Ayers was denied “emeritus” status because of this. Kennedy said, “There can be no place in a democracy to celebrate political assassinations or to honor those who do.”

Bill Ayers, just a guy in the neighborhood… Nothing to see here, move along…

Most people are unaware that WU was essentially a project of communist Cuba’s intelligence organ, the DGI. Larry describes Ayers’ WU activities:

  • Ayers and Dohrn had numerous contacts with the DGI in both Cuba and Canada. DGI provided advice, logistical, communications, guerilla training and/or financial support
  • This support extended to the May 19th organization that Obama allegedly joined. May 19th was responsible for the Brinks robbery and murders
  • The FBI says an individual working for Soviet Intelligence joined Students for a Democratic Society – WU’s parent organization – as a spotter for recruits. SDS members figure prominently among Obama’s contacts and friends
  • Bernardine Dohrn was egged on by the Cuban and Vietnamese communist agents, who claimed WU weren’t authentic revolutionaries due to their “white-skinned privilege”
  • This bothered them because it was and is true that most “revolutionaries” come from wealthy backgrounds and don’t know a thing about being poor
  • Weatherman doctrine claimed American minorities were a “colonized people” and could therefore legitimately fight a war of liberation, but white leaders were part of U.S. racist imperialism or at least benefited from it
  • Yet, urged to recruit “authentic” black and Hispanic revolutionaries to the leadership, WU leaders resisted, feeling threatened and inadequate; feared losing their positions
  • Ayers and Dohrn wrote a book in 2009 titled “Race Course Against White Supremacy”
  • Publisher’s statement said: “Our work, the work of Ayers and Dohrn… made it possible for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to run for the presidency. And President Obama’s successful campaign started on the streets of Chicago.

Larry concludes that both blacks and Muslim terrorists, whom he says have been allies of the communists as “oppressed people of the Middle East”, are cannon fodder for the Left’s world revolution. “Blacks,” he said, “are not to be liberated, but exploited, even killed, on the road to liberation.”

There was much more. Grathwohl’s report can be read HERE. His presentation can be viewed HERE.

Other conference participants included:

Ryan Mauro is the national security analyst for RadicalIslam.org, the website of the Clarion Fund, the organization that produced the films, “Obsession,” “The Third Jihad,” and “Iranium.” An adjunct online professor of terrorism and homeland security, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies and a Master’s degree in Political Science from American Military University. He is an expert on the dangers posed by the Muslim Brotherhood. At the Conference he aired excerpts from The Third Jihad and took questions.

Huma-Abedin-at-Weiner-s-swearing-in-with-Boehner_250Mauro discussed the controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton’s aide, Huma Abedin (wife of former Rep. Anthony Weiner), and Walid Shoebat’s evidence that Abedin’s father, mother and brother either belong, or did belong (her father is deceased) to the Muslim Brotherhood. Was this compromising fact considered in her State Department employment?

When Rep. Michelle Bachman raised concerns about this, she was attacked not only by Democrats, but by Senator John McCain, House Speaker Boehner and other prominent Republicans. Rep. Bachman responded with a sixteen page letter to Muslim Democrat Rep. Keith Ellison, one of her harshest critics.

Jeremy Segal blogs at rebelpundit and is a disciple of the late Andrew Breitbart. He produced the video of Rep. Danny K. Davis being honored by the communist newspaper, People’s World, at the Communist Party U.S.A.’s headquarters in Chicago. The award was for a lifetime of “inspiring leadership.” Rep. Davis is an old friend of Barack Obama’s.

Segal is a brave guy who also has documented Occupy antics with his camera. See his full presentation HERE.

This press conference was a cornucopia of information. There was so much more, too much to be adequately described. One could literally write a book about it. A few more items, however, bear repetition here.

  • The alleged Wikileaks source, U.S. Army Sergeant Bradley Manning, claims that his information sources include Shin Inouye, an Obama White House official
  • Holder’s Justice Department has blocked efforts to impose the death penalty on Manning
  • Robert Kennedy’s killer, Sirhan Sirhan was a hardcore communist and called the date of Kennedy’s death the beginning of the end for America
  • JFK’s killer, Lee Harvey Oswald, was also a committed communist. He was also a Soviet agent, who was trained in assassination by the KGB
  • Ion Mihai Pacepa, the former Romanian intelligence chief who defected to the U.S. submitted a report for the Kincaid conference which provides proof of Oswald’s KGB connection
  • A recent book by former CIA Case Officer Brian Littel charges that Cuba knew of Kennedy’s assassination plot before it happened, and was probably behind it, along with the Soviet Union.
George Soros and the Prison De-Population Movement

On Friday July 20th, James E. Holmes allegedly shot up an Aurora, Colorado movie theater, killing twelve and wounding scores more. Allegations surfaced that Holmes was a member of the Occupy movement and perhaps a participant in violent “Black Bloc” activities. This has not been confirmed and the media has suspiciously gone silent on his past. However, one thing has been confirmed. If Democrat sugar daddy George Soros had his way, guys like Holmes, in fact every violent felon currently behind bars would be set free.

Among the hundreds of extremist leftwing organizations supported by Soros’ ill-gotten gains is Critical Resistance, a group founded by communist cop-killer Angela Davis that advocates throwing the prison doors open because American prisons are tools of white racist capitalists and prisoners are “victims” of our oppressive government. Critical Resistance has advocated:

  • Prison Strikes
  • Abolishing solitary confinement, which they call “torture”
  • Effort to ban employee criminal background checks, a move now being considered by the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission
  • “Adequate” standard of living and medical care for prisoners
  • Release of domestic terrorist Marilyn Buck, Eric Holder’s Justice Department granted that request and unrepentant convicted murderer Buck is now free

A related organization is the W. Haywood Burns Institute. Domestic terrorist and Obama friend Bernardine Dohrn sits on its board. Burns was Dohrn’s brother-in-law and a communist lawyer who defended Angela Davis and other radicals. Obama’s Harvard mentor, Derrick Bell, another communist, revered Burns.

The Obama/Holder Justice Department has awarded $400,000 to the Burns Institute. Could this be because Dohrn is on the board or do they support the agenda for its own sake? Where was the mass media?

Ayers and Dohrn – just people in the neighborhood. Nothing to see here; move along…

Cliff Kincaid meanwhile, has written that the entire issue could be settled quickly if Abedin’s security clearance form were produced. I won’t be taking bets anytime soon. More information about Abedin can be found at Americas’ Survival.& See Mauro’s full presentation HERE.

Cliff Kincaid organized this Conference. Cliff has probably done more over the years to report on America’s radical left than any other living person. He is a veteran journalist, author, and media critic, serves as President of America’s Survival, Inc. and director of the Accuracy in Media Center for Investigative Journalism. He released the 600-page FBI file on Barack Obama’s communist mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, in 2008, and has called on Congress to re-establish committees examining internal security problems in the U.S.

Cliff’s introductory and concluding remarks are a story unto themselves. Watch HERE and HERE.
