Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government.  He understood actual history, the nature of God, his laws and the nature of man.  That happens to be way more than what most understand today.  Jefferson really knew his stuff.  A voice from the past to lead us in the future:

John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the white House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."

When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe . …Thomas Jefferson
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.   …Thomas Jefferson

It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes.  A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world. ... Thomas Jefferson

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. …Thomas Jefferson

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government. …Thomas Jefferson

No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. …Thomas Jefferson

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. …Thomas Jefferson

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. …Thomas Jefferson

To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.     …Thomas Jefferson

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. …Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.  If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

I wish we could get this out to everyone!!!

Egypt now fears Obama a 'Manchurian President'

'They are trying to understand why he is acting against U.S. interests'

Posted: February 02, 2011 -8:43 pm Eastern © 2011 WorldNetDaily

LISBON, PORTUGAL - NOVEMBER 20: U.S. President Barack Obama speaks to the media during a press conference on day two of the NATO summit at Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL) on November 20, 2010 in Lisbon, Portugal. The two day summit will address issues including a new strategic concept for NATO. Britain and the US will also seek an agreement to hand over responsibility for security in Afghanistan to local forces over the next four years. (Photo by Sean Gallup/Getty Images)

Top members of the Egyptian government say they feel betrayed by President Obama, charging that he is acting against American interests.

"Mubarak's regime feels Obama is pushing the advancement of the Muslim Brotherhood against U.S. interests," said WND's Jerusalem bureau chief and senior reporter Aaron Klein. "They are genuinely trying to understand why Obama is seemingly championing the anti-regime protests."

Klein said that a top Egyptian diplomat with whom he has developed a rapport over the last few years asked him earlier this week to explain Obama's motivation to support the opposition to Mubarak.

"I told him none of this should be a surprise," said Klein, "that the Obama administration has developed an extensive relationship over the last few years with allies of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Get the comprehensive probe that exposes Obama's Marxist, anti-American past – and present, in "Manchurian President."

"That my investigating has proven that Obama has been closely associated throughout his political career with radical-left elements who have long petitioned for policies many believe are aimed at weakening the American enterprise both domestically and internationally."

"The Egyptian diplomat seemed surprised," said Klein. "I told him this material was thoroughly documented in my latest book."

The diplomat requested 20 copies of Klein's New York Times bestselling book investigating Obama,"The Manchurian President: Barack Obama's ties to communists, socialists, and other anti-American extremists."

The diplomat said he would deliver the book, which was co-authored by Brenda J. Elliott, to senior officials in Mubarak's embattled government.

Obama in recent days urged Mubarak to give up power in Egypt, where the Muslim Brotherhood forms the main opposition.

Mubarak has been a staunch U.S. ally and a recipient of billions of dollars in military aid. His regime has long been considered a stabilizing force in the Arab world.

The Obama administration's support for the unrest is strikingly reminiscent of Jimmy Carter's support of the Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979, which marked the birth of modern Islamist expansion.

(Story continues below)

Some Muslim clerics are already calling the riots in Egypt simply an extension of 1979's Islamist conquests.

"Thirty-one years after the victory of the Islamic Republic, we are faced with the obvious fact that these movements are the aftershocks of the Islamic revolution," said Iranian cleric Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, as reported by Iran's Radio Zamaneh. "The fate of those who challenge [our] religion is destruction."

Speaking of media and government leaders, Khatami added, "They want to highlight the labor, liberal and democratic issues, but the most important issue, which is the religious streak of these protests, [is] being denied."

The leader of Jordan's Muslim Brotherhood, Hammam Saeed, warned that the unrest in Egypt will spread across the Mideast until Arabs succeed at toppling leaders allied with the United States.

"The Americans and Obama must be losing sleep over the popular revolt in Egypt," Saeed said at a sympathy protest held outside the Egyptian Embassy in Amman. "Now, Obama must understand that the people have woken up and are ready to unseat the tyrant leaders who remained in power because of U.S. backing."

And on the Internet, the Middle East Media Research Institute reports, prominent Salafi cleric Abu Mundhir Al-Shinqiti issued a fatwa on the website Minbar Al-Tawhid Wal Jihad encouraging the protests in Egypt, claiming Islamist jihadis are now on the verge of a historic moment, an "earthquake" he likened to the Sept. 11 attacks in New York City.

Obama pushes Egyptian 'reform'

According to a senior Egyptiandiplomatspeaking to WND, a former U.S. ambassador to Egypt, Frank Wisner, specifically told Mubarak on Tuesday the U.S. would not continue to support his rule and he must step down.

Hours later, Mubarak announced he would not seek another term in office.

The Obama administration dispatched Wisner to Egypt last weekend to report to the State Department and White House a general sense of the situation in the country.

WND broke the story yesterday that the Egyptian government has information Wisner secretly met earlier this week with a senior leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Issam El-Erian.

The Muslim Brotherhood seeks to spread Islam around the world, in large part using nonviolent means. Hamas and al-Qaida are violent Brotherhood offshoots.

Muslim Brotherhood declares war on U.S.

Prominent U.S. commentators also have been claiming the Muslim Brotherhood is a moderate organization and denying there is any Islamist plot to seize power.

Last Friday, President George W. Bush's former press spokeswoman, Dana Perino, told Fox News, "Don't be afraid of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. This has nothing to do with religion."

Bruce Reidel, a former CIA analyst and adviser to President Obama, wrote a Daily Beast article in which he claimed, "The Egyptian Brotherhood renounced violence years ago. … Its relative moderation has made it the target of extreme vilification by more radical Islamists."

Reidel's assertion the Brotherhood renounced violence, however, is contradicted by its own statements in recent months, including a call to arms against the West.

In November, the Brotherhood's new supreme guide, Muhammad Badi, delivered a sermon entitled "How Islam Confronts the Oppression and Tyranny."

"Resistance is the only solution," stated Badi. "The United States cannot impose an agreement upon the Palestinians, despite all the power at its disposal. [Today] it is withdrawing from Iraq, defeated and wounded, and is also on the verge of withdrawing from Afghanistan because it has been defeated by Islamist warriors."

Badi went on to declare the U.S. is easy to defeat through violence, since it is "experiencing the beginning of its end and is heading toward its demise."

Barry Rubin, director of the Global Research in International Affairs Center, noted Badi's speech showed "the likelihood that more Brotherhood supporters in the West will turn to violence and fund-raising for terrorism."

Frank Gaffney, president of the American Center for Security Policy, takes it a step further.

"In short, the Muslim Brotherhood – whether it is operating in Egypt, elsewhere in the world or here – is our enemy," he wrote.

Obama quietly builds ties to Muslim Brotherhood

Klein reported for WND yesterday that Obama and top administration officials have troubling relationships with the Muslim Brotherhood and its worldwide allies.

Muslim Brotherhood members were reportedly invited to attend Obama's 2009 address to the Muslim world from Cairo. Khaled Hamza, editor of the Muslim Brotherhood website, confirmed at the time that 10 members of the Brotherhood's parliamentary bloc received official invitations to attend Obama's historic speech.

Also in 2009, the Egyptian daily newspaper Almasry Alyoum ran a report claiming Obama had met with U.S. and European-based representatives of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood that year

According to the report, the Brotherhood members requested that news of the meeting not be publicized. They expressed to Obama their support for democracy and the war on terror.

The newspaper also reported Brotherhood members communicated to Obama their position that they would abide by all agreements Egypt has signed with foreign countries, implying that if they took power in Egypt they would continue that country's peace treaty with Israel.

Besides contact with the Muslim Brotherhood itself, there have been reports the past two years of behind-the-scenes contact with Hamas, which was founded as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas maintains a close alliance with the Brotherhood; the Brotherhood's new leader, Muhammad Badi, serves as a de facto lead spiritual guide for Hamas.

Top leaders of Hamas in Gaza claimed to WND several times they passed messages to Obama through dignitaries who visited the Gaza Strip, including Jimmy Carter and Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., – both of whom have a close relationship with the White House.

Kerry, for example, reportedly accepted a letter for Obama from Hamas leaders in Gaza during a February 2009 visit to U.N. installations in the coastal territory.

U.N. relief agency chief in Gaza Karen Abu Zayd told the BBC the Hamas letter had been received by his agency and passed on to an unnamed American official.

In November, 2008,WND first quoted Hamas officials stating they would be sending a letter to Obama.

Immediately after that month's elections, Ahmed Yousef , Hamas' chief political adviser in Gaza, called Obama's win a "historic victory" for the world and told WND that Hamas was sending a letter of congratulation to the president-elect.

Obama ties to Brotherhood's U.S. allies

It is not just Obama's reported contacts with the Muslim Brotherhood and the group's allies in the Middle East that are of concern.

The Obama administration also has evidenced a working relationship with several U.S.-based Islamist organizations that are listed by the Brotherhood as "likeminded" organizations.

One such group is the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA, a radical Muslim group that was an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to raise money for Hamas.

ISNA was named in a May 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document – "An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America" – as one of the Brotherhood's likeminded "organizations of our friends" who shared the common goal of transforming countries into Muslim nations.

The White House relationship with ISNA began even before Obama took office. One week before the presidential inauguration, Sayyid Syeed, national director of the ISNA Office for Interfaith and Community Alliances, was part of a delegation that met with the directors of Obama's transition team. The delegation discussed a request for an executive order ending "torture."

ISNA President Ingrid Mattson represented American Muslims at Obama's inauguration, where she offered a prayer during the televised event.

Mattson also has represented ISNA at Obama's annual Ramadan dinners, including the last such event in which Obama announced support for the rights of Muslims to build an Islamic cultural center and mosque two blocks from the site of the 9/11 attacks.

In June 2009, Obama's top aide, Valerie Jarrett, invited Mattson to work on the White House Council on Women and Girls, which Jarrett leads.

That July, the Justice Department sponsored an information booth at an ISNA bazaar in Washington, D.C.

Also that month, Jarrett addressed ISNA's 46th annual convention. According to the White House, Jarrett attended as part of Obama's outreach to Muslims.

ISNA sponsored a February 2010 question-and-answer session in which Obama's top adviser on counter-terrorism, John Brennan, came under fire for controversial remarks to Muslim law students.

Hannity: The Face of Radicalism

The Face of Radicalism

Video:  GREAT DEBATE OVER GLOBAL JIHAD & SHARIA LAW ON HANNITY

Video:  Hannity on Choudary:  Evil SOB

This is a rush transcript from "Hannity," February 2, 2011. This copy may not be in its final form and may be updated.

SEAN HANNITY, HOST: President Hosni Mubarak's 30 year reign appears to be coming to an abrupt and violent end in Egypt. Now, the turbulence witnessed on the streets of Cairo today shut much of the international community. And it has helped remind us all that the critical question now facing the rest of the world is who will fill the power vacuum when Mubarak officially steps down? Will democracy take shape or will a radical Islamic caliphate soon form?

Well, the man who will join me now live from London believes that this is the beginning of an Islamic uprising in the Middle East. And perhaps, even more alarming, he thinks the extremist group known as the Muslim brotherhood will likely rise to power in Cairo. Here to explain those predictions and much more is controversial Muslim cleric, Imam Anjem Choudary. Welcome to the program.

ANJEM CHOUDARY, RADICAL IMAM: Yes. Thank you very much.

HANNITY: You know, I actually read a transcript of an interview yesterday. And as I was reading this, it was interesting to me, because I found myself agreeing with you. And I probably agree with you on very little else. And you were making the case that in fact, this is, as you said, this is the Islamic revolution going on in Cairo. Can you explain that?

CHOUDARY: Yes, absolutely. I mean, one only has to look at the streets in Egypt, they are saying, you know, Mubarak the coward, the agent of the Americans. They are fed up of the torture, of the corruption of the lack of resources. They want to change. I mean, in Egypt today, you already have drugs and alcohol available, they have corruption, all of the fruits, if you like of Western civilization there. What they don't have in Egypt is the basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter, they don't have, you know --

(CROSSTALK)

HANNITY: It's a very poor country, we got that. And most of the people live in poverty on less than $2 a day, we've covered all that ground. I want people to know a little bit more about you and who you are. Let me give you for example the Muslim Brotherhood's motto which is their motto today, "Allah is our objective. The prophet is our leader. The Koran is our law. Jihad is our way. And dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope. Allahu Akbar." Do you agree with that motto?

CHOUDARY: Yes. I mean, which Muslim would not agree with that. We do believe as Muslims that sovereignty and supremacy belongs to God. In fact, in the world today, there are two camps, one which believes that sovereignty belongs to man at the head which, you know, is the moment probably Barack Obama and the other one which believes that sovereignty belongs to God. And the head of that whether we like it or not, Usama bin Laden.

HANNITY: All right. So, the Islamic brotherhood that was responsible for the killing on the assassination of the prime minister back in 1948 and also responsible for the -- and involved in the assassination of Anwar Sadat in 1981 and also these writings influence Ayman al-Zawahiri and Usama bin Laden, these are people you admire, these are people that you would want to rule Egypt in the Middle East?

CHOUDARY: No, I believe that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt have gone through various stages. I mean, we've seen the removal of the British Empire there. We've seen the removal of dictators like Anwar Sadat and obviously now Hosni Mubarak, you know, inshAllah soon.

HANNITY: I got that. I got all that. That's not the question.

CHOUDARY: We've seen them going through -- I'm addressing your question, you have to allow me to finish...

HANNITY: No, no, no, but I just read to you their motto, sir.

CHOUDARY: Yes.

HANNITY: And their motto is, Jihad is our way and the -- wait a minute -- and the Koran is our law. You want the Koran to be the law. You want an Islamic caliphate. And how do we interpret Sharia from your view? For example, can women drive in Saudi Arabia under Sharia they can't. If women are raped they need four male eye witnesses. Women in Iran under Sharia are stoned to death. Is that the Islamic law you support, sir?

CHOUDARY: OK. I'm going to answer this question. Let me talk about the Sharia. Obviously, the Sharia is misunderstood, there's no doubt about it. Under the Sharia, you know, we don't have women stoned because, you know, they are raped or because they committed adultery and the man is not, if you like, punished, this is complete false, totally false. Under the Sharia in fact, what we find is the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter are met. The life, the wealth, the honor, the dignity of all citizens are protected. In fact, the Sharia was implemented in Egypt for over a millennium. You know, in Egypt.

HANNITY: You are distorting the issue.

CHOUDARY: Well, allow me to answer.

HANNITY: I'm allowing you to answer.

(CROSSTALK)

HANNITY: But sir, sir, I have example after example, women are stoned to death in Egypt. Women can't drive. Under Sharia in Saudi Arabia, you yourself -- hang on -- you yourself sir, let me finish my question. You yourself, people who commit adultery, should be stoned to death. You said that. You said that Egypt and America one day will be under Sharia law. You said every woman Muslim or non-Muslim would have to wear a burqa. Did you not say that, sir?

CHOUDARY: What I said was in fact and what I continue to repeat is that I do believe that the whole world will one day be governed by the Sharia. That is the promise of the best man who walks the message of Muhammad Salalahu (ph). Let me say something, look, you know, there are many misconceptions about the Sharia. You know, at the moment, we have about 55 so-called Muslim countries, none of them implement the Sharia. We have some examples where people are trying to implement the Sharia as in Somalia, you know, parts of Iran and Afghanistan. This is a project, you know, and if you look at those places, you know the --

HANNITY: All right. I got the 55 countries.

(CROSSTALK)

CHOUDAR: All me just to finish my -- I think you are listening --

HANNITY: Sir, I'm quoting you. Answer my question, did you or did you not say people who commit adultery should be stoned to death? Did you say that?

CHOUDARY: That is not my statement, but I believe that, certainly, I do believe that when the Sharia is implemented --

HANNITY: Thank you.

CHOUDARY: -- and you have the education system of Islam and you have the social and economic justice, certainly the penal code to be implemented.

HANNITY: OK. And you also said.

CHOUDARY: It is not just about, well, allow me to finish.

HANNITY: You're answering the question.

CHOUDARY: It is not about stoning people to death. Well, look, you know, Mr. Hannity, I believe your name is Hannity, you know, if you just going to kind of hound me with questions and not allow me to answer your questions, I think your listeners of your viewers are going to be very upset. Allow me to at least finish a sentence, I mean, I'm supposed to be a guest on your show.

HANNITY: This is not a monopoly, I'm not a guest on your show.

(CROSSTALK)

HANNITY: We have limited time.

CHOUDARY: It is not a monopoly, but all you are doing is just shouting at me. And I don't think, you know, that's not a very decent way --

(CROSSTALK)

Coincidence: MSNBC host mocks Glenn Beck’s “Caliphate Map” while CNN shows similar image

By Joe Brooks

In a segment called “Right-Wing Freak Out” MSNBC host Chris Matthews, Media Matter’s blogger Eric Boehlert, and Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson mocked Glenn Beck’s “Caliphate Map” while simultaneously on another network another television host was speaking about a similar map.

For viewers who may have been switching between MSNBC and CNN’s John King  at the same exact moment they would’ve seen this:

Of course, to this keen viewer there was a slight difference between Glenn and John King’s maps:

While King was taking a journalistic approach and reporting on the facts of what has been happening in the middle east, uprising in Tunisia and Egypt leading to similar uprisings in neighboring countries, ect. – Glenn was using those facts and speculating what an outcome of this uprising might lead to, an Islamic Caliphate. Yes, you heard me right Glenn was giving his opinion based on facts – fulfilling his role as a Fox News opinion commentator.

I guess we can look forward to John King being featured on both MSNBC and Media Matters tomorrow then? Probably not.

Is The Obama Administration Throwing Us Into a Constitutional Crisis Over Health Care?

President Barack ObamaAre we we experiencing a quiet constitutional crisis?

It’s well known that Judge Roger Vinson ruled yesterday that the individual mandate exceeded the powers of the federal government under the Commerce Clause. But he also ruled that because the law lacked a severability clause and the law’s proponents had argued that the individual mandate was a necessary part of the scheme, the entire law was invalid.

Wesley J. Smith explains the implications:

That means that under the ruling, the law is void and cannot be implemented from this point forward. The Administration’s legal remedy is to seek a stay of the ruling pending appeal. It cannot just defy a federal court ruling. If it tries, the plaintiffs should go to court for the injunction and/or seek an order of contempt against the administration. Pretending that the ruling doesn’t change anything when it unequivocally does, would be both a petulant and extra-legal approach to governance.

So has the Obama administration halted the implementation of the law? The answer is: No.

The website of the White House is unambiguous about this: “Implementation will continue.”

Vinson’s decision did not include an injunction to stop the implementation of health care reform on the grounds that an injunction would be superfluous. He argued that the government would stop implementing the law automatically once it was announced as unconstitutional.

That, apparently, hasn’t happened.

So here’s a question: should government officials mindful of the constitution start defying the Obama administration to honor the decision by the court? If, say, you were charged with monitoring the computers that send out rebate checks to seniors with high prescription drug costs, should you turn off the computer?

Much of this is probably theoretical. Most of the law did not yet apply, so implementation was minimal. But if you were working on implementing the law, shouldn’t you be obligated to stop work?

“Pencils down” as we used to say back when an M&A deal fell apart.

The fact that the rulings were unanimous can be seen as a signal from on high that the circuit needs to get in line.

As expected, all 47 Senate Republicans voted Wednesday to repeal the sweeping health law, but no Democratic members joined them, leaving the GOP well short of the 60 needed to pass. But the bill, which easily cleared the GOP-led House last month, forced vulnerable Senate Dems to once again back the controversial legislation. Meanwhile, the Senate voted 81-17 to roll back the much-hated “1099” tax-reporting requirement. The obscure ObamaCare provision would have required companies, starting in 2012, to file a 1099 tax form every time they make cumulative purchases of $600 or more from any business.

How did Obama ever think that his program would pass constitutional muster? How could he imagine that the Interstate Commerce clause could cover something that wasn’t interstate (health insurance cannot be sold over state lines) and wasn’t commerce (failure to buy insurance is not commerce) would stand up in court? He was so sure that he would win any constitutional challenge that he arrogantly failed to put a severability clause in the bill so that it would survive even if parts were stricken down. The decision of the Florida District Court may or may not prevail in the Circuit Court....

‘Planned Parenthood’ Aids Pimp's Underage Sex Ring

This is disgusting, disturbing, and highly illegal. But since Planned Parenthood is involved, I'm not surprised in the least. Hopefully, America's justice system will not only get the felonious employees of Planned Parenthood the prison time they deserve, but that said prison time will serve as a deterrent to other Planned Parenthood employees from enabling, and advising, illegal sex slavery criminals, so as to help cover up the sex slavery of daughters and sisters of Americans and other people worldwide.

Planned Parenthood looks more and more like a criminal enterprise itself; they should be treated as such. Organized crime seems like an appropriate label...

There's not much else that needs to be said about the video clip. You MUST watch this:

NJ Planned Parenthood Caught Organizing/Advising Criminal Enterprise?

Video: Undercover Video of Planned Parenthood Criminal Enterprise

Another gift from the Progressive Movement and their founder Margaret Sanger a proponent of eugenics among other unsavory activities against those she felt were lesser beings than she and her elite Progressive friends (who are now in power in America)!!

Our taxpayer dollars go to fund this criminal organization.

Please watch and share the information!!

Apparently, the lady was fired, presumably for allowing herself to be caught on a YouTube video. After all, Planned Parenthood has a multi-Billion-Dollar INFANTICIDE racket they obviously wish to protect:

UPDATE: PLANNED PARENTHOOD EMPLOYEE FIRED OVER FAKE PIMP VID

Posted on February 2, 2011 at 11:06am by Jonathon M. Seidl
Shocking undercover video emerged yesterday of a New Jersey Planned Parenthood manager coaching a fake pimp and prostitute on how to bypass reporting laws and suggesting how the couple could run their child prostitution ring. While Planned Parenthood initially defended itself (by saying it had reported the U.S. Attorney General), yesterday afternoon it said it would take appropriate action. By last night, we found out what that action would be: the group has fired the manager.

The manager, identified in the video as Amy Woodruff, advised the couple to lie about their young prostitutes‘ age and even explained how the girls could be used to entice customers if they couldn’t have sex.

“We were profoundly shocked when we viewed the videotape released [Tuesday] morning, which depicted an employee of one of our health centers behaving in a repugnant manner that is inconsistent with our standards of care and is completely unacceptable,” Phyllis Kinsler, executive director of Planned Parenthood of Central Jersey, said in a statement released at 10:20 p.m, NJ.com reports.

“We have a zero tolerance policy for this kind of behavior, and the employee in the video was immediately suspended from her duties [Tuesday] morning and was terminated [Tuesday] evening,” Kinsler said. “We are fully committed to delivering high-quality reproductive health care to the women of our communities, complying with all laws, and upholding the highest ethical standards.”
Still, NJ.com says Kinsler questioned the editing of the group behind the video, Live Action. In response to that criticism, the group has released the full, unedited footage of the undercover operation.
NJ.com says the NJ Attorney General Paula Dow asked the Division of Criminal Justice to investigate whether the manager should face legal action. “At first glance, I find these allegations to be very disturbing,” she said in a statement. Additionally, her spokesman said Gov. Chris Christie’s office as well as some legislators had referred the matter to her attention.

“New Jersey taxpayers and every state and federal elected official and law enforcement agency throughout this country should be outraged,” Marie Tasy of New Jersey Right to Life told NJ.com, adding that Planned Parenthood does not deserve taxpayer funding.
Last year, Christie cut state aid to 58 family-planning facilities across New Jersey.

This is slick as hell! We, the United States have been buying Egypt's friendship for billions and now it is about to become a Muslim enclave, and that, is the bottom line, like it or not, so now it is being reported that Rand Paul wants to cut Israel's aid (as if we can afford giving foreign aid to anybody?).  Perhaps Rand Paul is already getting a little too full of himself.  That isn't so unusual after the

smoke of an election has blown clear.  Like Albert says, dictatorship or not, if Egypt comes under Muslim control, Israel is down the tube, that is unless they pull out the nuclear option.  The stupid Europeans have let their security by way of Muslim immigration go down the tube and there is no way out other than deportation with a blood bath of both sides, nations native population and Islam.

Russia had better wake up as well.

The problems we have here in the USA with a corrupt government and it's open borders policy is nothing compared to Israel and it's situation.

I would sure as hell not want to be there now or in the short future that they obviously have.  The Muslim take over of the world will most likely begin there and then continue throughout all of Europe and eventually to here in the USA.  That is unless the rest of the people of the world finally wake up to the reality of this plague and exterminate it before it is to late.  If we don't, a lot of good peoples heads are going to roll. That is my opinion.  …Albert

The Islamic Tide is Cresting

Posted on January 28, 2011 by admin

BY VICTOR SHARPE—

As if Israel does not suffer the slings and arrows from the Left and from many in the Democrat party, now Senator Rand Paul, who is a leader in the Tea Party movement which many of us support, has just announced that he is calling on the Obama Administration to end the $3 billion annual military support for America’s most loyal ally, democratic Israel. This was announced on the news today, January 28, 2011, even as the Arab world, including Egypt, Jordan and Yemen were aflame with violence and sliding into the embrace of jihadism and Islamism.

With Obama and Clinton uttering the most bizarre and naïve statements about the Egyptian rioting by urging Egyptian President Mubarak to “listen to the protesters and bring about reform in Egypt,” we are witnessing a foreign policy gone mad. That Obama and Clinton are unaware that these demonstration and riots are planned and orchestrated by the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Hamas is a junior partner, is breathtaking in its irresponsibility. Unless they come to their senses soon, Obama and Clinton, by their ignorance and foolishness, will be seen to have been complicit in the establishment of an Islamic Republic of Egypt. Remember the Suez Canal – the West’s lifeline – runs through Egypt. Remember Nasser in 1956 and 1967 and the Canal.

The Obama Administration and the State Department have already allowed Lebanon to be subsumed into the Islamic Republic of Iran. Jordan is a ripe fruit ready to be plucked by the Islamists and jihadists who hate the Bedouin Hashemite rulers of the largely Arab “Palestinian” population. Thus, the Jewish state is now surrounded on all sides by Islamic regimes. The two countries that Israel had peace treaties with, Egypt and Jordan, will have no further need to honor or adhere to those paper t treaties once new Islamic regimes take hold. Israel gave away 90% of the territories they had liberated from Egypt and Jordan in return for peace – albeit an Arab frigidly cold peace. Now we see what worthlessness land for peace means.

It will not only be the Gaza Strip border that is a mortal danger to Israel but the entire Negev-Sinai border. Israel’s northern border is now de facto a border with Iran and, perhaps sooner than later, the long Jordanian border will be aflame again as it was before Israel was forced to fight its defensive 1967 Six Day War with its main protagonists: Egypt, Jordan and Syria.

Israel is hated and loathed by most of the world even as it strives to seek peace with the Arab and Muslim world – a vain hope if ever there was one – so it should now immediately take the following steps to secure its security and strategic strength. Israel must at the very least retake the Philadelphi Corridor. This is the strip of land between Israel and the Mediterranean which would separate Gaza from Egypt but which Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice, under President George W. Bush urged Israel to vacate as a gesture towards peace. Some peace!

There will no longer be a need by Hamas to smuggle in to Gaza lethal weaponry through tunnels from Egypt. An Islamic Republic of Egypt will merely send truckloads of arms openly to Hamas. Only by retaking the Corridor can Israel maintain any control over the flood of weapons and missiles deliveries to Hamas from Egypt and to all the other Muslim terror gangs operating in the Gaza Strip – including Islamic Jihad, Al Qaeda and with the increasing evidence of Hezbollah itself.

Secondly, the farce that has been the ongoing and utterly fruitless negotiations with the Palestinian Authority should be ended immediately and, with Jordan’s likely slide into an Islamic state, all of Biblical Jewish Judea and Samaria should at long last be annexed. Most of the world will still hate the Jewish state but, at least, Israel will have taken the most prudent and long overdue strategic and tactical decisions. Better to be hung as a lion than a sheep.

In this most evil world it must be understood that “the meek shall inherit the earth, but sadly six feet under.” Until the world is truly made up of a perfect United Nations and not the sham U.N. Temple of Hypocrisy that exists in all its malevolence in New York City, men and women of good will must look to their own safety. The same applies to nation states and, in today’s frightening world, it applies in particular to the embattled and increasingly besieged and friendless State of Israel. The very angels in heaven must weep at what mankind has wrought.

Of course, many will object to what I write. To them the words are just not peaceful enough. But appeasement is in the air and it is Munich all over again. Despite the clearest of all warnings, there still will be those calling for “peace now” even with an implacable and demonic enemy from whom the only peace will be that of the grave. How witheringly tragic for all humanity.

As the world watches the chaos in Egypt continue, a leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood, one of the major political groups fighting for power, has now greatly increased tension in the reason. Muhammad Ghannem told an Iranian news network that if he and the Muslim Brotherhood had his way, the Suez Canal would be closed immediately. This would not only hurt capital coming in for the Mubarak government, but it would have further repercussions, as one-third of the world's oil is transported through the canal. This could increase the price of oil and gas substantially. Continuing, Ghannem stated that...

Many in US re beginning to worry after FEMA has moved into 5-states because of the Winter Storms… that they might not leave.  I have personal confirmation that the National Guard is present in Missouri and Oklahoma.  Winter storms zap city budgets. Will FEMA help with snow plowing costs?

Excerpt:

FEMA also said it has moved personnel to Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Indiana at the request of the states to help coordinate additional support, if it is needed.

What many communities really want from FEMA is money. Getting it requires a state or a community to meet two main requirements.

First, the jurisdiction asking for aid must have had a “record or near-record” snowfall within a 48-hour period. A near-record snowfall is within 10 percent of the previous record.

I guess the lesson here is when it comes to the government, be careful what you ask for!!

Obamacare Meets Its Death Panel - Erick Erickson Rocks Obamacare Ruling

Erick Erickson wrote up a brilliant post over on his website, RedState. Cleverly entitled "Obamacare Meets Its Death Panel," his article condenses some excellent quotes and his own intelligent commentary to lay out the Obamacare ruling that the average American will find much easier to understand than the stuff printed in most newspaper articles.

And, true to form, Erick Erickson's point of view is right on. This post is one of the reasons I love reading Erickson's stuff over at Red State:

I am not, with this post, going to attempt a detailed exposition on Judge Vinson’s ruling that declared the individual mandate unconstitutional and, due to the lack of a severability clause, struck the whole law as unconstitutional. But I will give you a brief overview and direct you to other good sources...

First, you need to understand that the case before Judge Vinson was not directed at whether the federal government can involve itself in healthcare. Instead, the case was whether the individual mandate is constitutional.

The individual mandate is the keystone to the whole legislation. Without it, the funding mechanisms of the law collapse in on themselves. Judge Vinson ruled that forcing people to buy healthcare insurance, whether they want it or not, is unconstitutional.
As Judge Vinson put it rather directly,

It is difficult to imagine that a nation which began, at least in part, as the result of opposition to a British mandate giving the East India Company a monopoly and imposing a nominal tax on all tea sold in America would have set out to create a government with the power to force people to buy tea in the first place.

To understand this, you must understand there is a great difference between activity and inactivity. Congress certainly has the right to regulate activity in commerce, but Congress cannot compel you to act. The Obama Adminstration called this argument “novel” and “unprecedented,” but as Kyle Wingfield points out, the judge turned this around on them and got to the core of the activity vs. inactivity debate.

According to the defendants [the Obama administration], because the Supreme Court has never identified a distinction between activity and inactivity as a limitation on Congress’ commerce power, to hold otherwise would “break new legal ground” and be “novel” and “unprecedented.” … First, it is interesting that the defendants — apparently believing the best defense is a good offense — would use the words “novel” and “unprecedented” since, as previously noted, those are the exact same words that the CRS [Congressional Research Service] and CBO [Congressional Budget Office] used to describe the individual mandate before it became law. Furthermore, there is a simple and rather obvious reason why the Supreme Court has never distinguished between activity and inactivity before: it has not been called upon to consider the issue because, until now, Congress had never attempted to exercise its Commerce Clause power in such a way before.

Having ruled the individual mandate unconstitutional, the judge then relied on the Obama Administration and Congress’s own words to declare the whole law unconstitutional.

For a more thorough analysis of the severability issue, John at Powerline has a good write up. Suffice it to say, as Avik Roy notes in Forbes,

In order to overturn Judge Vinson’s ruling upon appeal, it will be necessary for the government to rebut itself: to disprove its own arguments that the individual mandate is essential to PPACA.
Why? Because, according to Judge Vinson, and again from his actual decision at pages 68-70 as quoted by Avik Roy:

Moreover, the defendants have conceded that the Act’s health insurance reforms cannot survive without the individual mandate, which is extremely significant because the various insurance provisions, in turn, are the very heart of the Act itself. The health insurance reform provisions were cited repeatedly during the health care debate, and they were instrumental in passing the Act. In speech after speech President Obama emphasized that the legislative goal was “health insurance reform” and stressed how important it was that Congress fundamentally reform how health insurance companies do business, and “protect every American from the worst practices of the insurance industry.” See, for example, Remarks of President Obama, The State of the Union, delivered Jan. 27, 2009.28 Meanwhile, the Act’s supporters in the Senate and House similarly spoke repeatedly and often of the legislative efforts as being the means to comprehensively reform the health insurance industry…

Congress has also acknowledged in the Act itself that the individual mandate is absolutely “essential” to the Act’s overarching goal of expanding the availability of affordable health insurance coverage and protecting individuals with pre-existing medical conditions: “[I]f there were no [individual mandate], many individuals would wait to purchase health insurance until they needed care . . . The [individual mandate] is essential to creating effective health insurance markets in which improved health insurance products that are guaranteed issue and do not exclude coverage of pre-existing conditions can be sold.” Act § 501(a)(2)(I) (emphasis added).
In other words, the individual mandate is indisputably necessary to the Act’s insurance market reforms, which are, in turn, indisputably necessary to the purpose of the Act. This is obviously a very different situation than in Alaska Airlines, Inc., supra, 480 U.S. at 694 n.18 and 696 (unconstitutional provision severed from rest of statute where the provision was “uncontroversial,” and the debate on the final bill demonstrated its “relative unimportance”), and is more in line with the situation alluded to in New York, supra, 505 U.S. at 187 (suggesting by implication that the entire legislation should be struck when “the purpose of the Act is . . . defeated by the invalidation” of one of its provisions).

The Left’s reaction has been humorous. Powerline notes Ezra Klein’s particular reaction. Klein, you will remember, only a few short weeks ago declared the constitution difficult to understand because it was written more than 100 years ago. He then, being a non-lawyer, did his best to explain Judge Vinson’s decision to readers of the Washington Post and bungled badly.

Bush v. Gore is the best comparison the left can come up with while attacking Judge Roy’s political motivations.
Jen Rubin makes mincemeat out of these arguments by succinctly noting

These are complaints, not legal arguments. And they suggest that the left was totally unprepared for the constitutional attack on their beloved handiwork. After all, the recent mocking by the left of conservatives’ reverence for the Constitution suggests they are mystified that a 200-year old document could get in the way of their historic achievement. They are truly nonplussed, and so they vamp, not with reasoned analysis but with an outpouring of adjectives.
Precisely.

The left had plenty of warning from constitutional scholars and Congress’s own in-house non-partisan researchers that the individual mandate may be unconstitutional. The Democrats chose to ignore all that and proceed. In so doing, they did not just embrace the individual mandate, but they made it the keystone of the legislation — a vital and essentially necessary part of the legislation for it all to work.

In a move that will surely make Mr. Obama bristle, Stephen Dinan at the Washington Times points out, Judge Vinson used Barack Obama’s own words against him.

“I note that in 2008, then-Senator Obama supported a health care reform proposal that did not include an individual mandate because he was at that time strongly opposed to the idea, stating that, ‘If a mandate was the solution, we can try that to solve homelessness by mandating everybody to buy a house,’” Judge Vinson wrote in a footnote toward the end of his 78-page ruling Monday.

A bit of buzz has come up over Judge Vinson refusing to enter an injunction. In fact, some initial statements by several Governors and Attorneys General suggested the states would continue making preparations for Obamacare should the Supreme Court not agree with Judge Vinson. But a close reading of his opinion suggests the 26 states involved in the lawsuit may not have to begin preparations. According to Judge Vinson:

“there is a long-standing presumption ‘that officials of the Executive Branch will adhere to the law as declared by the court. As a result, the declaratory judgment is the functional equivalent of an injunction.’ … There is no reason to conclude that this presumption should not apply here.”

By my reading, Judge Vinson is saying that there need be no injunction because the law is unconstitutional and need not be complied with. That took some testicular fortitude to get to that point.

All the White House and its minion lawyers and leftists can do tonight is call Judge Vinson’s very traditional reading of the constitution “odd and unconventional.”

Judge Vinson’s ruling ultimately tells a group of people used to saying ‘yes we can’ that, in fact, ‘no, you can’t.’ And only in that sense can anyone view this as “odd and unconventional.” A limited federal government is, after all, what the founders had in mind.

OBAMACARE: D.O.A.

By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN - Published on DickMorris.com on February 1, 2011 - Printer-Friendly Version

How did Obama ever think that his program would pass constitutional muster?  How could he imagine that the Interstate Commerce clause could cover something that wasn't interstate (health insurance cannot be sold over state lines) and wasn't commerce (failure to buy insurance is not commerce) would stand up in court?  He was so sure that he would win any constitutional challenge that he arrogantly failed to put a severability clause in the bill so that it would survive even if parts were stricken

The decision of the Florida District Court may or may not prevail in the Circuit Court.  But who can doubt that the Supreme Court, as currently constituted, will strike it down?

So where does this leave President Obama?  His stimulus package was a disaster, conceded by all to have failed.  Democrats, of course, ascribe its failure to its puny size (only $800 billion)!  Republicans understand that when the government spends and borrows it destroys jobs rather than create them.  But, obviously, the stimulus bill didn't work.

And now his health care bill is unconstitutional.

What happens to an arch when it loses its cornerstone?  It collapses.  The same fate awaits Obama in 2012.

down.Meanwhile, he continues to peddle the fiction that "we have broken the back of the recession."  His bureaucracy puts out a GDP growth rate of 3.4 percent for the fourth quarter.  Baloney.  The price deflator he used to discount the impact of inflation on the supposed GDP growth was a ridiculous 0.3 percent for the fourth quarter.  But the Consumer Price Index rose by 2.6 percent in the same quarter.  Almost all of the GDP growth is just rising prices, not a recovering economy.

And half of the new economic activity is just the build-up of inventories.  We are now a nation of inventories.  Businesses are sitting on close to a trillion dollars of cash they are afraid to invest.  Banks are awash in capital handed out by the Fed as it tries to force-feed the economy by printing money.  And consumers have taken the stimulus money and put it into reducing their debt load - good for them but not for the economy.  Household debt has dropped by $200 billion in the past two years.

But nobody is spending.  Nobody is buying.

Obama's economic program is in ruins.  His healthcare bill is unconstitutional.  His financial regulation bill (Dodd-Frank) has so harassed small and community banks that they have stopped lending to small businesses.  And, on top of all that, he is losing Egypt to radical Muslim fundamentalists.

What a presidency!

New Common Sense:  Applying First Principles to the Issues of Today

Beware of Liberals Waxing Reaganesque

The buzz word to praise Barack Obama’s second State of the Union address is “Reaganesque.” Time magazine gushed that Obama’s emphasis on innovation, nod to American Exceptionalism, and deft use of storytelling places him “squarely — with Reagan — on the side of sunshine and enterprise.” As one conservative commentator remarked, “ever so slowly, liberals are attempting a subtle revisionism” of our 40th president. Though Reagan was portrayed as a simpleton B-movie actor (lacking compassion for the little man or good sense about policy) while president, liberals now reinterpret his legacy in order to bludgeon conservatives with it.

What defines Ronald Reagan?

Reagan’s greatest accomplishments were undoubtedly  in foreign policy. He demonstrated great courage in challenging and defeating the Soviet Union. Reagan assisted pro-freedom anti-communist forces in Afghanistan, Nicaragua, Angola, and Cambodia. Some estimate that the cash-strapped Soviets spent $8 billion a year on counterinsurgency operations against U.S.-backed guerrillas. The accelerating Soviet losses in Afghanistan demoralized the Kremlin and the Red Army, hastening the collapse of the Soviet empire.  There was vehement opposition to his Strategic Defense Initiative (even within his administration), but Reagan continued to push SDI and to persuade the Soviets to stop waging a Cold War they could not win.

At home, liberal intellectuals lauded the economic accomplishments of the Soviet Union. Reagan was not so easily seduced. In late 1981 and all of 1982, when his tax cuts had not yet kicked in and the U.S. economy still lagged, President Reagan reassured his worried aides and counseled them to stay the course. He had faith in the American people who, if they could be “liberated from the restraints imposed on them by government,” would pull “the country out of its tailspin.” Reagan told the British Parliament that a “global campaign for freedom” would prevail over the forces of tyranny and that “the Soviet Union itself is not immune to this reality.” By the end of the decade, as he predicted, Marxism-Leninism was dumped on the ash heap of history. America, though, experienced the longest peacetime economic expansion in U.S. history, with 17 million new jobs created during the Reagan years.
Reagan was indeed a gifted politician. He knew when to bend a little (in order to get what he wanted later on) and when to stand firm. In either case, his principles guided his actions. Ronald Reagan’s principles were rooted in two documents—the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. From his very first national speech supporting Barry Goldwater’s presidential bid in October 1964 to his farewell address to the nation in January 1989, Reagan turned again and again to the wisdom of the Founders.  Under Reagan's leadership, his Attorney General Edwin Meese III reopened a fundamental debate about the meaning of the Constitution that liberals had thought to be settled long ago. An open discussion of the Constitution’s meaning was essential, because “Reagan understood that many of our problems descended from the decay of the Constitution's restraints on the centralization of power in Washington.”

Considering that Reagan’s policies were grounded in the principles and documents of the American founding, it is more than passing strange to watch liberals twist Reagan’s legacy and declare Barack Obama heir to this new liberalized version of Reagan. Reagan’s understanding of America remained anchored in our country's core documents. Obama’s vision of America requires us to shed our allegiance to these documents and build a new progressive foundation for America. Reagan unabashedly embraced American exceptionalism, declaring the Soviet Union to be an Evil Empire. Obama begrudgingly tips his hat towards American exceptionalism, spending his time abroad groveling before foreign dignitaries and apologizing for America’s sins. Reagan’s economic policies led to years of American prosperity.  Obama’s health care bill sucked the life out of the economy (and the bill has not yet gone into full effect). As we celebrate the Gipper’s 100th birthday, let us honor the Reagan’s true legacy anchored in America’s First Principles, lest we be fooled by liberals waxing Reaganesque.

When Obama Talks like Reagan, Remember Mark Rudd's Warning Words

Tuesday, January 25, 2011 | Posted By TREVOR LOUDON
It is clear that [White House Resident] Barack Obama is going to move his rhetoric to the center, even to the right, as he positions himself for 2012. After all he can hardly talk further left can he?
But as the beguiling one talks like Ronald Reagan, we should all keep an eye on his actions.

We should also remember this analysis from former Weather Underground terrorist Mark Rudd [photo at right from 1968], written just after the 2008 elections:

--------

Obama is a very strategic thinker. He knew precisely what it would take to get elected and didn't blow it. He used community organizing methods to mobilize a base consisting of many people who had never voted before or who regularly don't vote....But he also knew that what he said had to basically play to the center to not be run over by the press, the Republicans, scare centrist and cross-over voters away. He made it.

So he has a narrow mandate for change, without any direction specified. What he's doing now is moving on the most popular issues -- the environment, health care, and the economy. He'll be progressive on the environment because that has broad popular support; health care will be extended to children, then made universal, but the medical, pharmaceutical, and insurance corporations will stay in place, perhaps yielding some power; the economic agenda will stress stimulation from the bottom sometimes and handouts to the top at other times. It will be pragmatic...

And I agree with this strategy. Anything else will court sure defeat. Move on the stuff you can to a small but significant extent, gain support and confidence. Leave the military alone because they're way too powerful. For now, until enough momentum is raised. By the second or third year of this recession, when stimulus is needed at the bottom, people may begin to discuss cutting the military budget if security is being increased through diplomacy and application of nascent international law.

Obama plays basketball. I'm not much of an athlete, barely know the game, but one thing I do know is that you have to be able to look like you're doing one thing but do another. That's why all these conservative appointments are important: the strategy is feint to the right, move left. Any other strategy invites sure defeat. It would be stupid to do otherwise in this environment...
Read Obama's first book, "Dreams from My Father." The second section is the story of his three years doing community organizing in Chicago. It's some of the best writing on organizing I've ever seen. That's all it's about, the core of the book. Obama learned many lessons of strategy and patience...

This is no stupid guy... Had any of the stupid Republicans read his books, they never could have said, "We don't know who this guy is." You know every thought he's ever had.

Rudd, an unrepentant Marxist to this day, works closely with at three people who have been close to Obama in the recent past - Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn and Carl Davidson.

This is as honest an evaluation of Obama's strategy and tactics as you are likely to get.

Admin Official: Obama "not ruling out legitimacy" of Muslim Brotherhood for New Egypt Gov't

An Obama administration official, speaking anonymously to the Washington Post, said the administration is open to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood being in the government of Egypt that will likely replace the rule of Hosni Mubarak:

The official said that while the administration was concerned about "some elements" of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood and other non-secular groups participating in the demonstrations, it was "not ruling out their legitimacy" and place in a future government.

Obama was aware that the Muslim Brotherhood and others were in the audience when he spoke of "a new beginning" in a 2009 speech in Cairo that was directed at the Islamic world, the official said. He cited a passage in the speech in which Obama said that "no system of government can or should be imposed by one nation on any other" and that "America respects the right of all peaceful and law-abiding voices to be heard around the world, even if we disagree with them."

The Post buried this unsettling revelation in an article about the administration charting a "delicate course to oust Mubarak."

Voice of America reported that at today's White House briefing, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said the administration had no contact with the Muslim Brotherhood:

Gibbs was also asked about the U.S. position on potential participation of the Muslim Brotherhood in any new governing structure, saying that the United States has had no contact with the group.

"We have as we have throughout the world, standards for that contact - that is adherence to the law, adherence to non-violence and a willingness to be part of a democratic process, but not use that democratic process to simply instill yourself into power," he said.

While the group professes to be non-violent, the Muslim Brotherhood is widely considered to be the father of international Islamic terrorism and is thought to be working to create a global Islamic caliphate.
