Obama’s “Muslim World” Journey and Its Consequences for America

Obama will say whatever is needed in order to win the election. Here is what he said during the 2008 Presidential campaign, but actions speak louder than words and this article examines what he has done.

Obama’s foreign policy of Apology and Appeasement serves a distinct purpose and fits into a clear agenda that has remained elusive until now.

Spurred by the 9/11 terrorist attack in Benghazi which resulted in the murder of four Americans, including US Ambassador Christopher Stevens, investigative journalists around the globe have been laser-focused on finding and delivering the facts surrounding this well-planned terrorist massacre.

Facts are still emerging and we know the Obama administration has been orchestrating a cover up. For example, we know he had advance warning of the planned 9/11 attack and now we learn this: “Benghazi: Multiple Requests for Increased Security Denied by Washington.” (Yet Joe Biden told the American people on national TV during the VP debates that they were not aware of the need nor had requests for increased security and throws the U.S. Intelligence Community under the bus.)

But there’s another aspect of what Obama has done with this crisis that’s much bigger than the attack itself. What we’re actually seeing is Obama’s use of specific tactics that we’ve seen him use before. These tactics are used to pro-actively advance his “Muslim World” agenda, which he first spoke about at length in Cairo.

So, what is the agenda? Exploring Obama’s handling of each crisis that’s occurred in the past four years, we can clearly see four key characteristics of his agenda.

First, so that we are clear about this, recall the creed of the Muslim Brotherhood, which has not changed and leaves no doubt that they are a terrorist organization…

“Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law; the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”

Here are the four aspects we’ve seen throughout Obama’s Presidency with regard to his “Muslim World” agenda. This may at first seem surprising, but when we look at his actions (more are presented later in this article), we can see these four primary characteristics in play:

Aide the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood and their terrorist organizations:

Obama publicly apologizes to the terrorists for what Americans have done. What does this action do? It provides an excuse/cover for their attacks and creates a narrative which US media spins relentlessly to manipulate Americans into thinking the terrorists may have been justified in their attack. This leads the discussion in a direction that focuses on what America has done, rather than what the terrorists have done. Portraying America as the bad guy facilitates the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood by deflecting attention away from what they’ve done. There are numerous examples – the YouTube video created by an American, the burning of the defiled Qurans by the US military, etc.

Advance the restriction of liberties in the US:

Obama advances his agenda (and Sharia Law by the way) by exacting an assault on our 1st Amendment right to free speech, pronounced by his statement at the UN, “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

Obama and Clinton have already signed onto the global blasphemy law (16/18) and Obama is publicly moving Americans in that direction. The gravity of such a move may be lost on most, but for those who are awake and know history, giving the government the power to imprison people for speech is a gateway to hell. It is the polar opposite of America’s foundation, principles, law and culture. We’ve seen this done throughout history in other countries and we know what it means and where it leads.

Another tactic Obama uses to advance his agenda is reflected in what his DHS is doing to American citizens. Think about the NDAA, the modifications he made to the Patriot Act, his TSA, his program called “If you see something, say something,” the huge Utah facility and the Fusion Centers that are collecting massive amounts of data on us, American citizens. 4th Amendment – gone.

The Senate report on their investigation of the DHS confirms that they are naming citizens, not terrorists.

Confiscate more of America’s wealth and send it overseas to advance the power of the Muslim Brotherhood:

Obama is using the terrorist attacks as an excuse to siphon more of our tax dollars to Muslim Brotherhood-controlled countries. For Obama, it’s never been about spreading the wealth within the US; it’s all about taking from the US to give to other countries who seek to destroy the US. Our money is being used to empower our enemies and, at the same time, to plunge our nation further into debt and poverty in order to bring about an economic collapse.

Fuel chaos:

As all radical Progressives know, chaos enables radical transformation. Obama’s actions regarding the Muslim World have transformed the Middle East whereby the Muslim Brotherhood has risen to unimaginable heights of power – Egypt being a prime example. Setting the entire Middle East on fire and fueling the chaos with apology and appeasement has been a powerful tool in aiding the rise of America’s enemies. The result is chaos, instability and uncertainty in our own country. Some Americans think we are to blame while others are doing their homework and getting educated about the Muslim World’s goal to destroy Western Civilization.

For those who may be uncertain about whether or not Obama has fueled chaos, ask yourself what actions he has taken that have resulted in stability in the Middle East and here at home. We’ve seen the opposite; under Obama’s reign, the Middle East has been more unstable than we’ve ever seen in our lifetime. Radical transformation is occurring before our very eyes.

Mitt Romney was absolutely correct when he said this, “By failing to maintain the elements of our influence and by stepping away from our allies, President Obama has heightened the prospect of conflict and instability. He does not understand that an American policy that lacks resolve can provoke aggression and encourage disorder.”

It is true that the Middle East is on fire and Obama is fanning the flames by design.

For example, while this administration continued to lie and claim the 9/11 terrorist attack in Benghazi was a spontaneous response to a film, Interim Libyan President Mohammed Magarief said, “It’s a preplanned act of terrorism directed at American citizens.”

Magareif said the “high degree of accuracy” in which the attack was executed—with rocket-propelled grenades and mortar shells—is proof that the assault was preplanned, and not carried out by inexperienced protesters. He said he believes “al-Qaida elements” were involved but stopped short of directly accusing the terrorist group of planning it.

Although the Interim Libyan President told the truth about what has happened in his country, the Obama administration continued to say the opposite, continued to push the American-made YouTube video as the reason for the attack, and Obama’s US media outlets continued to spin in favor of his lies.

Another example is when we saw Obama and Clinton scramble and issue conflicting reports each time new details were revealed. It was obvious that they were not counting on these facts reaching the light of day. As a result, we’ve seen them in auto-shake at times. But the $70,000 ad they ran in the Middle East spoke volumes about their determination to continue to fan the flames of chaos and blame America instead of the terrorists.

One need not be a National Defense expert to see what Obama has been doing. All that’s needed is a willingness to open our eyes and look.

When it comes to all things Middle East, Obama’s actions reflect his deep bow at the feet of those who want to destroy America. Obama doesn’t serve as America’s President, he rules on behalf of those who want to destroy and transform America into something that’s unrecognizable.

If you’re still not sure, ask yourself, “When has Obama defended the US against the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists?” Do an internet search and you will see articles about his defense of the Muslim Brotherhood, but nothing on his defense of the US.

Obama’s incessant berating of the US while deliberately weakening our defenses, elevating the Muslim Brotherhood and aiding their rise to power is stunning and horrifying to those of us who are paying attention.

We watch as media black-outs persist and the propaganda and lies fly faster than the speed of light from him and his media minions.

There is no doubt that the totality of Obama’s actions with regard to the Muslim World tell the story of truth and reveal the dangerous journey we’ve been on for the past four years. Take a look at just some of these actions…

IRAN:

1. To prevent the overthrow of the Iranian government, Obama did not speak publicly in support the people of Iran when they rose up in protest and wanted Ahmadinejad, the Islamic tyrant, removed from power.

2. Throughout his Presidency, Obama has ensured the continuation of Iran’s nuclear missile development while stripping America of our nuclear capabilities and ceding to Russia, an ally of Iran, via the START Treaty. Then Obama is caught on an open mic telling Russia that he only has one more election and then he’ll have more flexibility.

3. Obama publicly ignores Iran’s pronouncement and promise to bring death to America and Israel.

EGYPT:

1. To aide the overthrow of the Egyptian government, Obama supported the “community organized” protests in Egypt (yes, Obama’s Code Pink and others were there), went into auto-shake when he thought Mubarak wouldn’t step down and used the resources of his Presidency to support the Muslim Brotherhood rise to power in Egypt.

2. Obama ignored the fact that a female American reporter was brutally gang-raped and nearly killed during the “community organized” Egyptian protests and he continued to publicly praise the “Arab Spring.”

3. Obama sent weaponry and billions of US taxpayer dollars to Egypt after their Muslim Brotherhood President, Morsi, made it clear that Jerusalem will be the capital of Egypt (i.e. they will kill the Jews and overtake Israel).

LIBYA:

1. To aide the overthrow of the Libyan government, Obama took the US to war under the guise of a dangerous UN Doctrine, “Responsibility To Protect” (R2P) concocted by Anti-Semite Samantha Powers, Obama’s Senior Director of Multilateral Affairs on the Staff of the National Security Council (who happens to be married to Cass Sunstein and supported by George Soros).

2. Obama armed Libyan rebels in defiance of intelligence that indicated Al-Qaeda terrorists were among those rebels. The ex-SEAL that was murdered in Benghazi with Ambassador Stevens stated that their mission was to recover weapons. Surely Obama didn’t want Americans to know that, while he was conducting the illegal war in Libya and telling us there would be no boots on the ground, he did have boots on the ground supplying US weapons to Al-Qaeda terrorists.

3. Obama continues to lie about the pre-planned 9/11 Benghazi terrorist attack. The Obama administration received warning prior to the attack and also denied the Ambassador’s request for protection. We also learned of Obama’s iron cold response of going to bed after receiving the news of Ambassador Stevens’ murder. In addition, when discussing what happened in Benghazi with 60 Minutes, Obama called it a “bump in the road.”

AFGHANISTAN:

1. US Soldiers – Fatalities are up 405% under Obama as Commander In Chief.

[1495 fatalities in 3.75 years under Obama averages 399 per year. 630 fatalities in 8 years under Bush averages 79 per year. That’s a 405% increase in US soldier fatalities under Obama.]

US Soldiers – Wounded are up 1200% under Obama.

[12,685 wounded in 3 years under Obama averages 4,228 per year (stats stopped by February 2012). 2,637 wounded in 8 years under Bush averages 330 per year. That’s a 1200% increase in soldiers wounded under Obama.]

2. Obama changed the rules of engagement and the dramatic rise in the number of soldiers killed and wounded in Afghanistan under Commander In Chief Obama tells us just about everything we need to know about the war in Afghanistan. But wait… there’s more…

3. US Soldiers – Suicide rates increased to levels never seen before under Obama. Here’s a June 2012 article. Here’s a January 2010 article which describes the 2009 suicide rate as follows: “the toll of military suicides last year was the worst since records began to be kept in 1980.”

AMERICA – Obama’s actions as the President of the United States:

The list of Obama’s actions is lengthy, but here are some of them:

• Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, tells Congress and the American people that the Muslim Brotherhood movement is “largely secular” (“Muslim,” oh really?) that “has eschewed violence” even though we know they are the terrorist umbrella organization that created Al-Qaeda, Taliban, Hezbollah and Hamas as well as CAIR, ISNA, MSA and many other organizations that operate freely in America and have penetrated and infiltrated our government at the highest levels.
• Obama stopped our space program and re-defined NASA’s primary purpose as reaching out to the Muslim World to help them feel good about themselves.
• The Fort Hood terrorist attack was deemed “workplace violence.”
• Obama announces the War on Terror is over and renames it “Man-Caused Disaster.”
• Obama’s DHS redefines terrorists as patriotic American’s in their April 2009 DHS report.
• Obama removes all references to Islam and Islamic terrorists from government training manuals, documents and websites and he dictates that anyone in the government who speaks of it is to be fired.
• Obama supported the release of the Pan Am Flight 103 Libyan terrorist as shown in THIS White House letter.
• Obama and Clinton removed restrictions to bring a known terrorist into our White House. This terrorist came to our White House to demand the release of the blind Sheikh, Omar Abel-Rahman, who masterminded the 1993 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center that killed seven Americans and injured a thousand.
• Obama has been in talks with the Muslim Brotherhood (including Egypt’s new Muslim Brotherhood President, Morsi) to release the blind Sheikh. It appears highly likely that Obama will release him after the November election whether he wins a second term or not.
• Obama gave a deep bow to the Saudi King; never before done by a US President.
• Obama supports the Ground Zero Mosque even though more than 70% of New Yorkers are against it and Obama knows that Islam builds Mosque’s at the sites they conquer.
• Obama gave a big pay day to Egypt for the release of American hostages. Among the hostages was the son of Ray LaHood, Obama’s Secretary of Transportation.
• Obama orders the military to burn Bibles that were sent to our troops in Afghanistan.
• Obama apologized for the burning of defiled Korans at a US base in Afghanistan despite the fact that burning them is in accordance with Islamic law. Obama fueled the manufactured outrage against our soldiers which cost American soldiers their lives.
• Obama has brought members of the Muslim Brotherhood into his administration, including the DHS, at the highest levels.
• Huma Abedin, close advisor to Clinton, is the daughter of Muslim Brotherhood parents, sister to her Muslim Brotherhood brother and she worked with Muslim Brotherhood operatives until taking a position in Obama’s State Department.

• Obama’s community organizers and terrorist Weather Underground friends organized the Gaza Flotilla. When Israeli soldiers boarded the Flotilla and were attacked, the Obama administration lied about what actually occurred by claiming it was the Israeli’s who attacked. His lie was later debunked by the actual video footage.
• Obama’s administration refuses to state that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.
• Obama’s administration refuses to state that they will not criminalize speech against any religion.
• Obama called for Israel to return to the indefensible 1967 borders.
• Obama instructed the DNC to remove Jerusalem and God from the Democratic platform. Public pressure drove them to amend the platform; however, the delegates voted against reinstating Jerusalem and God. In opposition of the vote, it was reinstated anyway – again, due to public/political pressure. However, the DNC Platform still guts pro-Israel language.
• Obama’s DNC embraces radical Islam with their Jumah event.
• Obama’s Ramadan dinner guest list hides attendance of stealth Jihadists tied to Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood.
• Obama knows Hezbollah is entering through our southern border, yet he continues his impeachable offense of not enforcing US immigration law so that Hezbollah, drug cartels and other illegals can flow freely into our country.

When we look at the facts and the direction Obama has taken us, there is no doubt his “Muslim World” journey over the past four years has been active, targeted, consistent and deliberate. The consequences of that journey… of Obama’s actions in America and across the globe is visibly profound and indisputably dangerous for our country, our safety and our way of life.

To further understand Obama’s “Muslim World” journey, Americans need to look at this Welcome to The Project and they also need to know about Civilization Jihad because Obama’s actions demonstrate that he fully supports it and appears to be using our White House as its headquarters.

What is Civilization Jihad? Entered into evidence in the 2008 Holy Land Foundation trial was a document titled, “An Explanatory Memorandum On the General Strategic Goal for the Brotherhood in North America.”

“The Explanatory Memorandum (click here for the original document in Arabic) explains that the Muslim Brotherhood-organized “Islamic Movement” in the US is a “settlement process” to establish itself in the United States and, once entrenched, to undertake a “grand jihad” characterized as a “civilization jihadist” mission under Muslim Brotherhood direction.

Specifically the document describes the “settlement process” as a “grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated.”

The Muslim Brotherhood is relying on non-Muslims in America to aid it, usually inadvertently, to destroy America from within.”

What Obama is doing is not an accident, incompetence or miscalculation. Quite the opposite; Obama is deliberately using his position as President of the United States to advance the reach and power of the Muslim Brotherhood and their Islamic terrorist organizations.

The destination?… Destroy America from within and obliterate Israel.

So you see, Obama’s Apology and Appeasement is a deliberate policy that gives cover to the terrorists in order to strengthen and empower the radical Islamic “Muslim World” while, at the same time, weakening and transforming America to ensure her demise. Fueling chaos, financing their terror and aiding their rise and our fall is on full display for all to see.

Biden Unhinged, Arrogant and Rude at VP Debate

Talking heads can say what they want in their attempts to pretend that Joe Biden did well, looked presidential, or behaved (as one has already said) “passionately” but maturely during the debate between the Vice Presidents tonight, Thursday, October 11th.

The bottom line is that Joe Biden was rude, condescending, arrogant, and simply over the top in his behavior throughout the entire debate; so much so that his behavior was the primary topic of discussion on all the social networks. Little can be remembered about what he actually said - but a lot will be remembered about how he behaved. Over and over during the debate, people commented about how irritating and obnoxious he was.

Glenn Beck: 

The big story coming out of the Vice Presidential Debates last night is Joe Biden’s over the top laughs, condescension, and flat out disrespecting of Congressman Paul Ryan. Biden may well have been the decisive winner if it weren’t for the antics because Ryan, while he did a serviceable job, missed several opportunities.

“Here’s my take on the debate,” Glenn said. “I have been praying the last two debates that the American people will see who each side is, whoever they are. Lord, just let them be revealed for who they truly are. I think Barack Obama was revealed– it was revealed in who he truly is. An angry, disinterested, not really understanding even what America is all about kind of guy and Romney was revealed for who he is, awe kind, gentle, decent man who gets it. That’s what happened. That’s the debate, the presidential debate in a nutshell.”

“Here’s what was revealed, I think, last night. Paul Ryan is a good, decent, honest guy who’s a young politician, who I think has a handle on things, but he is young. Joe Biden, an out-of-control nasty dude.”

Glenn said the debate reminded him of Proverbs 29:9, which said: When a wise person debates with a fool, the fool rages and there is no peace and quiet.

“I think that’s what happened – a wise man debated with a fool and the fool laughed and raged and there is no peace and quiet. I didn’t get anything out of this debate last night. I think it was a tie,” Glenn said.

“I didn’t think Ryan was inexperienced on the facts but it’s how do you deal with a buffoon like Biden on a national stage. He didn’t nail that,” Stu added.

What does Glenn think Ryan should have said? He explained:

I’m going to forego what I prepared to say tonight. Instead I just would like to remind Americans what they just witnessed. Throughout the debate, as this administration has done throughout the past four years, Joe Biden has been disrespectful, sneer, arrogant, combative and angry to a guy he disagrees with. He has divisively referred to me as my friend the whole time. My friend. He didn’t say that anything heartfelt. He has laughed. He’s mocked me. He’s interrupted me every time I try to speak, and that’s been the problem with the last four years. They have demonized half of the American people while mocking and deriding them. Sage oh, they’re tea bags not even really listening to them while immarginallizing and calling them, literally, a quote from the president, their enemies. While not even being willing to identify America’s enemies, Islamic extremism. They won’t even identify that. What you have seen tonight is a microcosm of divisive governing, and it is tearing us apart. We cannot stand as a nation if we continue to divide ourselves. I have said, we’re going to work together. We’re going to try. We’re going to try. All these men have done is separate us by race, by gender and now finally just by income. Meanwhile, Mitt Romney as governor of Massachusetts proved he can work with those on the other side of the aisle. The legislature in Massachusetts was 87% democrat there. Yet how many things did he get passed? How many things? Including Romney Care and he did it without doing it in the middle of the night making secret back-door deals. The choice is clear, America. Do you want four more years of an attitude like what you’ve just seen so demeaning. Not to me, but to the office of the vice president. Or, do you want to get back on the road? Do we want to be who we really are, start working together and rebuild, not transform, rebuild our nation? Thank you and good night.

“It would have been a knockout, just a knockout,” he said.

President Obama got absolutely crushed in the first debate and many on the left were very upset he didn’t bring up Romney’s 47% line that MSNBC made such a big deal out of. So it was no surprise when Biden brought it up – but Ryan was ready and had an epic response.

When Biden brought up the numbers, Ryan shot back, “With respect to that quote, I think the Vice President very well knows that sometimes the words don’t come out of your mouth the right way.”

But Biden responded, oddly, “But I always say what I mean.”

For Any That Missed This: ABC News scrambles to downplay Obama’s attendance at VP debate moderator’s wedding… Ethical? Fair?

President Barack Obama was a guest at the 1991 wedding of ABC senior foreign correspondent and vice presidential debate moderator Martha Raddatz, The Daily Caller has learned. Obama and groom Julius Genachowski, whom Obama would later tap to head the Federal Communications Commission, were Harvard Law School classmates at the time and members of the Harvard Law Review.

After TheDC made preliminary inquiries Monday to confirm Obama’s attendance at the wedding, ABC leaked a pre-emptive statement to news outlets including Politico and The Daily Beast Tuesday, revealing what may have been internal network pressure felt just days before Raddatz was scheduled to moderate the one and only vice-presidential debate Thursday night.

Both Politico and The Daily Beast jumped to ABC and Raddatz’s defense. The Huffington Post, a liberal news outlet, joined them shortly thereafter, while calling “unusual” ABC’s attempt to kill the story before it gained wide circulation.

Genachowski — called “Jay” at the time of his wedding, sources told TheDC — and Raddatz would go on to have a son together before their divorce in 1997. They have both since remarried to other people.

A source who attended the 1991 wedding told TheDC that Obama was also a guest there, and remembered that a man by the name of “Barry Obama” was among the guests dancing at the reception.

In August, The Daily Caller first connected Genachowski, an Obama appointee, to Raddatz following her selection as the vice presidential debate moderator by the left-leaning Commission on Presidential Debates. That debate, between Congressman Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden, will take place Thursday night at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky.

Carol Platt Liebau, a political commentator who was a Harvard Law Review colleague of Genachowski and Obama, wrote that “despite being a year below both men on the Review and not close personal friends with either of them,” she remembered Genachowski and Raddatz’s relationship as “quite public” during those days, and that “Raddatz visited Boston frequently.”

Genachowski’s friendship with Obama would continue through the campaign trail in 2008 and into the White House: He aggressively fundraised for Obama in 2008 as a campaign bundler, and served on the presidential transition team before winning his appointment to chair the FCC.

On Monday evening ABC spokesman David Ford grudgingly confirmed Obama’s attendance at the wedding, after shielding Raddatz in August by declining to comment when The Daily Caller first reported the story.

“This is absurd,” Ford said, in the same statement now circulated by ABC’s media allies on the left.

Obama, Ford wrote, “attended their wedding over two decades ago along with nearly the entire Law Review, many of whom went onto successful careers, including some in the Bush administration,” he said without providing a specific number of Harvard Law Review members to verify the statement.

When pressed further on Tuesday for a specific number of Harvard Law Review members in attendance at the wedding, Ford could offer none, despite circulating the same unverified approximation through sympathetic media outlets earlier that day in order to discredit The Daily Caller’s reporting.

Ford also could not provide The Daily Caller with a specific number of Harvard Law Review members who worked with Obama and Genachowski during that year. A photo taken of the Harvard Law Review during Obama and Genachowski’s final year of law school contains 70 people.

The ABC spokesman’s assertion that “nearly the entire Law Review” attended the wedding cast doubt on the significance of Obama’s attendance. But Ford’s unwillingness to document that claim now suggests that Obama was among a close circle of fewer Harvard classmates who were personal friends of Raddatz and Genachowski.

Instead, Ford maintained his ambiguity in subsequent statements to The Daily Caller, identifying only one other Harvard Law Review classmate of Obama and Genachowski who attended the wedding.

When TheDC asked Ford via email Tuesday night for further specifics on actual numbers, he did not respond with any.

The FCC, the Obama campaign and the Romney campaign also did not respond to The Daily Caller’s request for comment.

The Media is the Real Enemy

If you are a regular reader of Right Side News, you know that we bring you in-depth reporting on a broad range of issues in one convenient place. The last conference “The Most Important News Conference in History Part I” and Part II was widely read and shared across the internet and social networks.

The following article details a day-long conference held by Accuracy in Media on September 19th. This conference on the eye-popping media bias in favor of President Obama brings much new information to the table. Please read it in its entirety.

Since 1969, Accuracy in Media has striven to bring accuracy and balance to media reporting. Given that the Left-driven mass media daily overlooks, misrepresents or suppresses the truth to serve their agenda, this has been a valiant, David vs Goliath, if not a Don Quixote effort. But AIM soldiers on, bringing to light countless articles and exposés that shine a light on press bias while providing in-depth reporting about the real issues.

With this in mind, AIM recently held a day-long conference, “Obamanation; a Day of Truth.” This conference highlighted the media’s alarming reluctance to report or investigate anything derogatory about President Obama, and cataloged the many instances where, to the contrary, they shamelessly hype the President and suppress embarrassing information, while collaborating to attack and discredit his political rivals. Lately this has included the unprecedented step of suppressing vital information about the nature of the Benghazi attacks merely to shield the President from embarrassing revelations so close to the election.

Conference presenters included the following list of prominent policy experts and public figures:

• Richard Benedetto, former White House correspondent, USA TODAY, national political correspondent.
• Deneen Borelli, Outreach Director for FreedomWorks, author of Blacklash: How Obama and the Left Are Driving Americans to the Government Plantation.

• Artur Davis, former Democratic Congressman, and national co-chair for Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
• John Fund, senior editor, American Spectator, expert on voter fraud and the American election process, co-author, Who's Counting?: How Fraudsters and Bureaucrats Put Your Vote at Risk.

• U.S. Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and the founder and head of Congress’s Media Fairness Caucus.

Each presenter gave a prepared statement for 15–20 minutes followed by a question and answer session. The more animated speakers are often people who at one time worked with the Left. This was certainly true for at least one of AIM’s guests.

America’s True Enemy

Longtime Democrat Pat Caddell, who worked for Democratic Presidential candidates from 1972 to 1992, presented what was not really a speech but more of an impassioned plea. He came right out and called main stream media “the Enemy,” citing by name the Washington Post, the New York Times, ABC, NBC and CBS.

Caddell said that journalists have been biased for decades but when they decide, “…what truth that you may know, as an American, and what truth you are not allowed to know, they have, then, made themselves a fundamental threat to the democracy, and, in my opinion, made themselves the enemy of the American people.” (Emphasis added.)

He said:

“I think we’re at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy… the overwhelming bias has become very real and very dangerous.”

Caddell cited a Gallup poll showing that Americans have the least faith in the news of any time in history. 60 percent said they had little or no trust in the media to report news accurately and fairly. Not surprisingly this split is partisan: 58 percent of Democrats claim to trust the coverage while only 26 percent of Republicans do. Only 31 percent of independents have a high degree of trust, a fact that should alarm Obama and the Democrats.

The Audacity of Corruption

Calling his presentation “The Audacity of Corruption,” Caddell offered stunning examples of media silence regarding what should be major stories. For example, while Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans died due to virtually nonexistent security at the Benghazi consulate – a known hotspot – Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett continues to have a full-time Secret Service detail, even on vacations. Caddell revealed that just prior to replacing David Axelrod as Senior Advisor to President Obama, former Obama campaign manager David Plouffe was paid $100,000 by an Iranian front group to give two speeches in Nigeria. Caddell stated:

… here’s a man who’s being paid by an already named front group for… a terrorist regime, and is not asked about it, or queried about it!

Caddell made a number of stunning revelations and pointed observations:

• $16.4 billion – 80 percent – of Obama “Green Energy” loans went to firms owned or invested in by individuals “ who were bundlers, members of Obama’s National Finance Committee, or large donors to the Democratic Party.” No media coverage.
• Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s number one goal is to obtain release for Blind Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, mastermind of the 1993 WTC bombing. No media coverage.
• An intelligence source asserts that the White House and State Department are negotiating that release now! No media coverage.
• White House National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, an unscrupulous political hack with no experience in national security, is the reputed White House leaker. No media coverage.
• The press gives Democrats hundreds of millions in in-kind contributions through their relentless bias and PR campaign for Obama.
• Republicans are unwilling to challenge the media. This needs to STOP.
• Too many Republicans, Like Romney advisor Ed Gillespie, who works with former Clinton attorney Jack Quinn, won’t rock the boat because they want to preserve relationships.

He noted the press response to Libya:

.. we’ve had nine days of lies over what happened because they can’t dare say it’s a terrorist attack, and the press won’t push this. Twenty American embassies, yesterday, were under attack. None of that is on the national news. None of it is being pressed in the papers. If a President of either party—I don’t care whether it was Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton or George Bush or Ronald Reagan or George H. W. Bush—had a terrorist incident, and got on an airplane after saying something, and flown off to a fundraiser in Las Vegas, they would have been crucified!

Caddell also lambasted the Romney campaign for its ineptitude in calling out either Obama or the media on these eye-popping lapses:

This is not without accomplices, because the incompetence of the [Mitt] Romney campaign, which I said a week ago is the—my God!—the worst campaign in my lifetime, and the Republican establishment in general’s inability to fight, has allowed these things to happen in part because they don’t [fight].

I urge you to watch Caddell’s presentation in its entirety. He delivers a message we cannot overlook.

Caddell was genuinely angry and one of the most animated speakers of the day, but he was not the only one.

Gaffney and McCarthy:

Muslim Infiltration into the United States

Frank Gaffney and Andrew McCarthy both spoke about Muslim infiltration into the United States. They covered too much ground to be adequately described in this essay.

Gaffney has created a free online video series titled, “The Muslim Brotherhood in America: A Course in 10 parts.” Each video is about 20 minutes and very well done. Points raised:

• Shariah is a totalitarian doctrine. Its adherents – notably, the Muslim Brotherhood – seek to bring it here.
• Shariah is principally about power, not faith. Accordingly, acting to realize its political end of overthrowing the U.S. government is seditious and must be prosecuted not treated as protected religious practice.
• In most countries where it operates, the Brotherhood is in a pre-violent phase.
• The Muslim Brotherhood’s strategic plan is a “civilization-jihadist process… a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within” by our hands.
• Civilization jihad is being pursued through stealthy means involving the penetration and subversion of civil society and governing institutions.
• The military calls “information dominance,” the Brotherhood’s effort to keep us ignorant of the threat. They have been increasingly effective at this over the past ten years.
• The Muslim Brotherhood was helped in its efforts to achieve information dominance over the George W. Bush administration, thanks to collaboration between al Qaeda financier, Abdurahman Alamoudi, and anti-tax activist Grover Norquist.

Alamoudi is currently serving a 23 year sentence for helping finance a plot to murder Saudi Crown Prince (now King) Abdullah. In the 1990s, Alamoudi’s American Muslim Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Council received certification from the Defense Department to approve Muslim chaplains for the U.S. armed forces in the 1990s. He participated, with the ACLU in creating legal justifications for limiting Christmas celebrations in public schools.

• Norquist helped mainstream in the Bush campaign and/or administration five other Muslims with extensive ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. They were: the Islamic Free Market Institute’s Khalid Saffuri, CAIR’s Nihad Awad, Palestinian Jihad’s Sami al-Arian, the Fiqh Council’s Muzzamil Siddiqi and Suhail Khan, a former staffer for Rep. Tom Campbell of California.
• In his capacity as the de facto Muslim gatekeeper in the Office of Public Liaison under senior Bush advisor Karl Rove, and then as an assistant in the personal office of the Secretary of Transportation, Khan had, at a minimum, an opportunity to facilitate the penetration of other Islamists.
• Both during and after the Bush administration, Norquist has used various organizations to promote Islamist agendas. These have included Red-Green coalitions made up of radical and other leftists and Muslim Brotherhood front groups.
• Norquist has worked for years to “create relations with top political leaders and Muslims,” including running Muslims for elective office as Republicans. Three of his protégés – Kamal Nawash, Faisal Gill and Imad “David” Ramadan – have run for state legislative seats in Virginia.
• Norquist continues to support Islamist agenda items and to work to counter initiatives opposed by the Brothers. He has collaborated with radical leftists and Islamists in Red-Green Coalitions, the latter include Iranian influence operations.
• The precedents, personnel and policies promoted by Norquist and his friends during the George W. Bush administration have metastasized under President Obama.
• Notably, six Islamist-sympathizers have achieved positions within or advisory roles serving Team Obama: Special Envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Rashad Hussein; Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Huma Abedein; Presidential advisor Dalia Mogahed; FBI Citizens Academy graduate Kifah Mustafa; Homeland Security Advisory Committee Member Mohamed Elibiary and Homeland Security Countering Violent Extremism Working Group Member Mohamed Magid.
• Muslim Brotherhood successes include policies and directives emanating from the White House, and priorities and activities of: the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Departments of State, Justice, Defense and Homeland Security and even NASA.

There is an urgent need for rigorous congressional oversight and investigations aimed at exposing the extent of the civilization jihad – and the need for corrective action aimed at countering it, particularly by federal authorities.

McCarthy added that Muslims believe Shariah is Allah’s gift to the world. He quoted the President of Turkey, who said, “Democracy is the train to our destination.”

Gaffney left the audience with a final remark that the Strait of Hormuz may close shortly.

Betsy McCaughey: Death Panel Reality and the Destruction of Medicare

In-Depth AIM Interview with Betsy McCaughey

Dr. Betsy McCaughey is perhaps the foremost expert on Obamacare. She was also instrumental in defeating Hillary Clinton’s similar socialized medicine scheme back in 1994. She was the first health care policy expert to warn of the impending Obamacare proposals in 2009.

She revealed that Obama healthcare advisor, Ezekiel Emanuel, former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s brother, advocated what have become known as “Death Panels.” The media ridiculed Sarah Palin for warning about them, and McCaughey was similarly reviled in the press for spreading “false rumors.” Obamacare advocates and their media defenders disingenuously argued that the Obamacare bill contained no such provision.

The truth, McCaughey revealed, was that the framework for their creation was already codified in law through a provision snuck into the stimulus bill. Now, one of Obama’s closest advisors, former Car Czar Steven Rattner, is admitting that Obamacare will require rationing in a New York Times Op Ed subtitled “We need death panels.”

This is big news! Sarah Palin was right all along (we knew that of course.) Where is the media mea culpa? Where is the media coverage even?

Crickets.

In this conference, Dr. McCaughey described in detail how Obamacare is going to ruin Medicare. She again raised the specter of death panels and explained that Obamacare requires extreme cuts to Medicare that will necessitate commensurate cuts in healthcare services to seniors. Some of the life-saving procedures that are routine today will become completely unavailable, and the necessary rationing will begin. Some key points:

• Obamacare cuts $247 billion from hospital Medicare reimbursements over ten years.
• Since Medicare already reimburses hospitals less than service costs, this will necessitate service reductions.
• This and other budget cuts will reduce nursing and other hospital staff by 93,000.
• Beginning in October 2012, the Obama administration will reward hospitals that spend less on seniors and penalize those that spend more.
• Cuts will eventually cause an estimated 40 percent of hospitals to operate at a loss.
• 15 percent of hospitals may stop accepting Medicare patients.
• An estimated 35,000 seniors will die annually as the result of reduced care.

Bishop E.W. Jackson, Sr.: The Constitution, Founding Fathers and Religious Freedom

Bishop E.W. Jackson, Sr. campaigned for Virginia’s U.S. Senate seat in the GOP primaries. He spoke on religious liberty and the Constitution, noting how the Obama administration demonstrates contempt for the Constitution every day. “I think we are being led by people who don’t respect our Constitution. They just fundamentally don’t think it’s important,” he said.

He quoted EEOC Commissioner Chai Feldblum who has said “Sexual freedom must always win over the First Amendment.” Even though sexual freedom’s not mentioned in the Constitution and the First Amendment is the first right that’s recognized by the Constitution, she says, “No, no, no, the First Amendment liberties of the American people must give way.”

Jackson said that Republicans have an historic opportunity to reach out to blacks due to this administration’s radical stances on abortion and gay marriage, which most blacks strongly disagree with.

John Fund: Voter Suppression and the Corrupt Machines

John Fund has written two books on voter fraud: Who's Counting? and Stealing Elections  and is an acknowledged expert on the issue. Fund discussed the Left’s effort to mischaracterize voter integrity efforts as minority “voter suppression,” resurrecting yet again the race card. The sad truth he explained, is that inner city minorities do suffer voter suppression because those areas are usually controlled by corrupt leftist political machines. Reform democrats have attempted to change the system but have been prevented from doing so by the corrupt machines. Minorities suffer poor schools, poor services, with high taxes and high crime, while their votes are literally stolen by corrupt politicians. The idea that voter ID laws suppress the minority vote is absurd. 75 percent of voters favor photo ID laws for voting. Even liberal democrats favor voter ID laws.

Jack Cashill

Jack Cashill has published many books and wrote a series of articles asserting that Obama neighbor and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers wrote Obama’s “autobiography” Dreams from My Father (which has now been edited and re-written to remove references to Frank Marshall Davis and other incriminating material). Despite impeccable journalistic credentials, including ghostwriting books for other authors, Cashill’s stories have been completely ignored by the media – even conservative media. Subsequently, Author Christopher Andersen interviewed people who knew Obama for his biography. They said that Obama was unable to meet deadlines and submitted tapes, notes and a partially written manuscript for Ayers to complete. So Cashill has been vindicated, but the media will still not acknowledge the truth.

Cashill says, “Obama did not write Dreams. Period.” In his research, Cashill stumbled across Ayers’ book, “Fugitive Days” and surmised that Ayers had the same ghost writer as Obama because the writing was so similar. Then he learned that Ayers had exemplary writing skills, and due to his time as a merchant seaman, uses many nautical metaphors – metaphors which appear repeatedly in Dreams. The few original works credited to Obama, e.g. his anti-war essay from Columbia, were fraught with errors.

Edward Klein

Klein is a former New York Times writer with impeccable credentials. He has written a book about Obama titled, “The Amateur.” He thoroughly researched the book, including an interview with Obama’s controversial pastor, Jeremiah Wright. He spent three hours with Wright, who said that Obama representatives visited him numerous times in secret trying to convince him to shut up. Klein’s book makes the case that Obama is “Temperamentally unsuited for executive leadership.” Klein quotes Majority Leader John Boehner as saying that Obama “doesn’t know who makes decisions, how they make decisions or who is in charge.” Klein added that Obama is “in revolt” against the system that elected him, and that, “Every single black businessman I spoke to said they were disappointed with Obama’s performance.”

Katie Pavlich

Katie Pavlich has written an authoritative book on the Fast and Furious scandal. She reported that the recent DOJ Inspector General report regarding the scandal was written largely by longtime Eric Holder friend, former IG Cynthia Schnedar, even though it is signed by the current IG, Michael Horowitz, an employee in the job only five months. With Fast and Furious, the goal was to regulate gun stores out of business, not legislate them out of business. Katie’s entire presentation can be viewed here. The Council Has Spoken! This Week’s Watcher’s Council Results

The Council Has Spoken! The votes have been cast, and the results are in for this week’s Watcher’s Council match up.

Even taking into consideration the normal high level of quality in both the Council and Non-Council entries, this was a tough call with some exceptional pieces to choose from, and the close vote tallies reflect it.

The Blaze aired a special last week in two parts called The Project. Part 1 is here and Part 2 is here.

As I have contended from the very beginning, Obama and his minions are corrupt beyond belief. It is my belief that Obama is actively facilitating the Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islam in an effort to bring America to her knees and usher in not only Sharia law, but a worldwide caliphate. This week, I am going to summarize for you the content of The Project and what it means to Americans. Time is growing short, we are entering the third and final phase of a very, very evil plan.

In 2001, an Islamic manifesto called The Project was discovered in Switzerland. This document is a plan to carry out a quiet coup within the United States through indoctrination, subversion and infiltration at all levels of our government and through key positions in education and other influential positions such as the media. Fast forward to 2008 and the Holyland Foundation Trial. This showcased the largest terror financing trial in US history. There are 80 boxes of evidence, including The Project, that have been made available by our government to the accused enemies of America, but which, to this day, are being withheld from our leaders and the American people. Barack Obama, Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano cite national security, but have given the terrorists a free pass to review the documents. I contend, that if they haven’t already done so, that Obama and his colleagues will destroy those documents because they implicate Obama and his administration in outright treason by aiding and abetting the Muslim Brotherhood. If Obama loses this election, he will most likely do two things: 1) He will release the Blind Sheik and 2) he will have those 80 boxes of documents destroyed if he hasn’t done so already. Obama will remain faithful to his Muslim roots and his anti-colonialist leanings. Remember Obama’s words:

”The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

Flash Poll Immediately After First Presidential Debate Found Romney the Big Winner, Independents Turn on Obama

A Newsmax/InsiderAdvantage Flash Poll conducted immediately after Wednesday's presidential debate finds that Mitt Romney won by a significant margin.

Asked who won the debate, 52 percent of respondents said Romney did, with 45 percent for Obama. Undecided/neither was 3 percent.

Pollster Matt Towery says "the results largely followed party lines, but independents broke in favor of Romney, moving the dial in his favor."

The poll sampled 373 likely voters nationwide, with a margin of error of 5 points.

CNN flash poll:  67% said Romney won, only 27 % said Obama won with 3% not sure.

Anatomy Of An Ass Kicking

TPN: First things first, I usually only release these guys for electoral victories, but what the hey. Last night's Romney victory was so overwhelming, (and Obama's performance was likewise so underwhelming,) that I believe it is fitting to let fly the Baby Elephants.

I have two clips here for comparison on the analysis of last night's events. The first is from Michelle Malkin, who managed to catch some of the things that I missed in my euphoria last night. Suffice it to say that Willard Romney exceeded even the lofty expectations that came with Chris Christie's confident tossing of the proverbial gauntlet. What Mitt Romney did specifically was to take every single ridiculous canard ever uttered as a lefty talking point over the past three decades and use fact, reason, and plain English to use that canard as a weapon with which to bitch slap President Zero. Had John McCain showed half this amount of fight four years ago, he would be President today, defending himself against Hillary Clinton. How bad was the beat down? At one point during the evening's festivities, Little Barry pleaded with Jim Lehrer to change topics, the debate equivalent to declaring a TKO.

And now for something completely different, and by different I mean watching Chrissy Mathews come completely unglued in his, "objectivity," while describing his take on how the debate went. (I guess he didn't have that thrill going up his leg last night.) I will at this point in time point out that Jim Lehrer gave me an unexpected pleasant surprise with how he handled his moderating duties last night. The debate was not at all about Lehrer being the star, or about how slantingly he could phrase his questions. He merely stated a topic, gave it a gentle nudge to get the juices flowing, and then removed himself from the conversation. That was the first time in my memory watching the two candidates primarily having a substantive discussion on values, beliefs, philosophies, agendas, and policy positions in which they were able to speak to the issues and differences in any sort of a meaningful way. It was truly an argument in the arena of ideas. So how did Chrissy see it all?

When I was in High School, much longer ago than I certainly like to admit, my girlfriend was on the school's debate team. I went to one of her events, and two things immediately struck me. One, She was really quite a lot smarter than I was, and two, the rules of the debate seemed rather odd. Each team was given a week to prepare for the upcoming debate, but rather than assign differing sides to an issue, each team was allowed to choose which side they would take. They had to prepare rebuttals to both sides, not knowing which side the other team would take. I found it amusing that every team at almost every debate chose the same side to argue.

There are many people on the left and right who felt Barack Obama came in woefully under prepared for last night's debate. While that may be true, it is also true that Barack Obama is in the position of having to defend the worst Administration in America's 236 year history. He has no such choice as to which position of this debate he would like to argue. When you take away the smoke and mirrors, the spin, the lap dog media, and his stellar ability to read a speech from a teleprompter, this election, and mostly these debates will be about whether we should award another four years of America's future to Barack Obama.

In his first statement, Barack Obama told us that this election should not be about the past, but about the future. Them's not exactly fighting words, them's hiding words. In a nut shell, President Obama is walking a tightrope here. On the one hand he's happy to have the natural advantage of incumbency on his side in the upcoming election, and on the other hand, he would rather voters really not think too long or hard as to what kind of a job he's done during the previous four years. There's already been a lot of hand wringing on the left about why oh why Barack Obama did not bring up this point or that point, mostly pieces of the aforementioned ridiculousness concerning the supposed 47% gaffe, Bain Capital, war on women, etc. There is a reason for that. President Obama started trotting out the talking points early and often in the first ten minutes of the evening. He got what he thought were his best kill shots fired back at him in a manner that left visible marks on his person and psyche. After 20 minutes of that, five of his best punches having left its indelible mark on his squarely paddled backside, the rest of the evening became about Barack Obama's attempt to run out the clock and put an end to the misery of the left. Barack Obama's speech became noticeably slow, pretty much the same cadence one might find in the local police department drunk tank. He spoke long and slowly, and avoided anything even resembling a point, lest it be rolled up in stone and fired back at him as another candidacy ending salvo.

Mitt Romney on the other hand had another challenge. The Obama campaign has spent Hundreds of Millions of dollars in an effort to portray Mitt Romney as evil to his core, a man we should expect to see entering the debate sporting horns on his head and with a barbed tail protruding from under his suit coat. The only thing Romney needed to do in order to win was to walk out on stage without a red pitch fork and not eat a baby in some sort of ritualistic sacrifice. As no babies died in Denver last night, and Mitt Romney did not have any props which could be mistaken for a red pitchfork, everything else that happened was gravy. There was oh so much gravy. My personal favorite moment of the night was early on when Barack brought up my pet peeve of Democrat canards, those supposed oil subsidies, which as a matter of fact are nothing more than straight line expense deductions any business takes while preparing their income tax returns. (The oil industry happens to be the second most heavily taxed industry in our nation, with Tobacco being number one.) Mitt politely pointed out that in one year, Green Subsidies are 50 times greater than even the fictitious Oil Subsidies, and for a far smaller benefit I might add.

In the end it was nothing more than one small night which signaled that the race is not over yet. Mitt Romney is still in this race, and is probably ahead if looked at honestly. Special note to the Romney team, Barack Obama is not going to take this lying down. In the game of, "is the Republican Stupid, Senile, of Evil," there is only one choice that fits Mitt Romney. Expect the attacks to be stepped up immediately, and expect the next debate performance made by our President to look different. The good news is that the next one of these will be on foreign policy, just at a time when Obama's endeavors in that area have 25% of America's embassies set ablaze. It should be fun.
