Senate passes sweeping financial regulation bill

The Senate Thursday evening passed a landmark financial regulation bill that Democrats said would prevent future taxpayer-funded bailouts of large Wall Street firms, but which Republicans said was a rushed and overbearing measure that could do more harm than good. The Senate passed the bill on a 59-39 vote, with four Republicans joining Democrats in voting for it and two Democrats voting against it. The bill will give the federal government new powers to take over failing financial institutions and unwind them, require complicated derivative trading to be routed through a central clearinghouse, and create a massive new consumer protection agency. The bill will now go to a conference committee so that it can be reconciled with a version passed by the House last fall. Democrats want to get the bill to President Obama’s desk by July 4. Democrats hailed the legislation. “It means that we’re finally going to put an end to the whole notion of ‘too big to fail.’ You’re never going to have to hear about taxpayers bailing out Wall Street,” said Sen. Mark Warner, Virginia Democrat, who was a key player in crafting the bill. Obama made a simple and firm promise: “There will be no more taxpayer-funded bailouts — period.” But Republicans slammed the bill for doing nothing to fix the problem of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two government-owned failed mortgage giants who have cost taxpayers $145 billion and are poised to hemorrhage hundreds of billions more over the next few years. Sen. Richard Shelby, the ranking member on the Senate Banking Committee, asked how the Senate could pass legislation on a topic so complex when the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, created by Congress to determine the causes of the 2008 financial crisis and near-meltdown, has just recently only begun its work and is nowhere near to delivering a final report. “This represents a fundamental failure of this body to do its own due diligence before we even attempt such a significant undertaking,” said Shelby, an Alabama Republican. “The American people expect more, and certainly deserved more from us.” The GOP also said the government’s takeover authority would privilege large financial institutions over smaller one and still leave risk of bailouts in such a way that Wall Street is incentivized toward greater risk-taking instead of less, that derivatives regulations would be overly burdensome and drive trading overseas, and that the consumer agency would be a huge and unnecessary bureaucracy that could end up intruding into every day American commerce. Sen. Lamar Alexander, Tennessee Republican, said the measure was “supposed to rein in Wall Street, but instead is just another Washington takeover – this time of Main Street.” Shelby said that “behind the veil of anti-Wall Street rhetoric is an unrelenting desire to manage every facet of commerce under the guise of consumer protection.” The president and Democrats framed the bill as a victory for the American people over the concerted efforts of Wall Street bankers and Republicans who stood against reform. “President Obama, Congressional Democrats and the American people achieved a victory … despite weeks of Republican attempts to weaken or delay the bill’s passage,” said Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine.

Rep. Paul Ryan, Wisconsin Republican, wrote that the bill was “not reform.” “Its fundamental architecture expands and centralizes power in Washington, doubling down on the root causes of the 2008 crisis. It is based on a vision that government can foresee future crises and avert them, despite the fact that an army of regulators never saw the most recent crisis coming,” Ryan said. Tony Fratto, a former Bush administration economics adviser and spokesman, said the bill was “borne of ignorance, myopia, and vengeance, not sound policy.” “If the derivatives title, in particular, isn’t fixed in conference, U.S. financial institutions will be harmed irreparably, and they will lose a competitive advantage over our foreign institutions,” Fratto said. “The bill takes a great U.S. asset — our deep, liquid markets and banks — and sacrifices them for populism.” But Warner insisted, at a press conference after the bill passed, that the the U.S. had led the way in showing the rest of the global economic system how to provide rules of the road to prevent another economic crisis. “Europe hasn’t acted. Asia hasn’t acted. They’re still waiting for America to act,” said Warner, who also said the bill would allow the U.S. to remain the financial center of the world. Similarly, Obama said that the bill he signs “will not stifle the power of the free market — it will simply bring predictable, responsible, sensible rules into the marketplace.” The Republicans who voted for the bill were Scott Brown of Massachusetts, Susan Collins of Maine, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, and Olympia Snowe of Maine. The Democrats who voted against were Maria Cantwell of Washington and Russell Feingold of Wisconsin. At the Democrats press conference afterward, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat who is in a tough reelection fight this fall, appeared with Warner, Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin of Illinois, Senate Banking Committee Chairman Chris Dodd, of Connecticut, and two other Democrats who are facing significant election challenges: Sen. Barbara Boxer of California, and Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas, who is in the middle of a primary runoff that will be decided June 8.

Obama Gloats: GOP ‘Backed Down’ on Finance Bill

President Barack Obama was gloating Saturday when he sent out a personally signed e-mail to his campaign e-list with the subject line “They backed down.”

“They” are several members of Republican caucus in the U.S. Senate.

Obama’s regulatory finance bill passed the Senate Thursday with four Republican senators crossing the aisle to join with Democrats.

Obama told his online supporters, now organized under the Democratic Party’s “Organizing for America” project, “When opponents in Congress tried to block the legislation altogether, you stood up -- and they backed down.”

Despite the Senate win, Obama claimed that Wall Street and others are still fighting to stop the bill, which needs to be reconciled with the House version.

Obama also made the fantastic claim that opponents had spent “$1 million per member of Congress” to lobby against the bill. If true, opponents would have spent a staggering $535 million to stop his bill.

In the letter, Obama encourages supporters to “please donate $5 or more today” to help mobilize thousands to counter the “special interests’ attacks.”

Around 1915, after an unsuccessful attempt at socializing America,  realizing that Americans were freedom loving and God fearing people, the Progressives began campaign to slowly change American society to the point that they could replace Capitalism with Socialism.  The plan of American Progressives (Progressives In Congress), that Hitler said he took his inspiration from, was based on 3 main points:

1.  Destroy the relationship Americans had with their Founding Fathers and the history that made up our heritage.

3.  Destroy American’s faith and religion with concepts like social justice and their connection to God with Government.

They have moved us toward Orwell’s predictions in 1984… through the theories of Marxists Cloward & Piven and Saul Alinksy’s: Rules for Radicals; it just took them a little longer, including a combination of dumbing down and indoctrination techniques focused on our children through the public schools while taking our focus off of what is important and moving it to sports, mass media, electronics, keeping up with the Jones’s and then spending too much time at work to do all those things… leaving no time for family or God. (This week atheists are picketing the decisions of a long process by the Texas School Board to upgrade social studies textbooks (that will be used by large portions of US school districts) and bring them back to a more middle of the road curriculum.

Now that Americans understand that the entire “global warming” scam is exactly that a power grab scam on the American people as well as the people of the rest of the first world nations and that informed Americans are against Cap-and-Trade, Senators Kerry, Lieberman and other Progressives are suddenly pushing it as a faith-based initiative link.  These are the same people who usually push the inaccurate version of the concept of separation of church and state and that railed against Bush ‘43’ and his faith based initiatives as a “religious zealot’ trying to destroy America with evil Christianity… even tough our nation was founded on Judeo-Christian values. But don’t confuse the liberals with facts. 

Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships issued its final report of recommendations and the result is nothing short of astonishing… and not in a good way! (download .pdf file)  “The Presidents Faith Based Initiative reads like a takeover of religion in America, like the takeover of the banks and the car companies.  The word partnership is in the document over and over.”, Jerry Farwell Jr, President of Liberty University.

The ACLU, co-founded by a Marxist claiming to be a Methodist Minister which enabled him to spin liberal doctrine as Christianity by changing and tweaking the meaning of the words, has spent the past 90-years fighting for Progressive causes in the name of minorities that they used for their purposes. (Just like EPA regulations now being attached to O’s faith-based initiative hurts minority communities the most.) If the ACLU was really about civil liberties they would be screaming right now to defend Christians and the churches from government takeover… instead the silence is defining.  Activist, author and speaker, David Horowitz, whose parents were card carrying Communists and he himself was a liberal activist in the 60’s that saw the light and has been fighting the left ever since, verifies that Christianity and liberalism are really two different religions, and that many churches have been infiltrated and ‘used’ as promoters of social justice; words that are not found in the Bill of Rights, the Constitution or the Bible.  If your church talks about social or economic justice or promotes it in their bulletin or on their website, run…!!! Either they are being used or you are by false preachers.

Do not abdicate charity to the government.  We as individuals are to spread the word of God and do good works from the heart.

Government and the Progressive Left has and is infecting our churches with the poison of ‘social justice’.  Jesus preached giving from the heart… government preaches taking someone’s money and giving it to someone else.  Christ and Bible also talk of everyone having a soul and of everyone’s individual relationship with God… not of collectivism or group think.  We all must be born again, as individuals, and then the giving needs to come from out hearts, not as a requirement or mandate.

This initiative is perhaps the final nail in the coffin our churches and Christianity, if we do not stand up and stop it.  It is time that the pastors start preaching the real gospel, stand up for individual rights of the people and dust off the spirit of The Black Robe Regiment

Jesus taught individual rights and gave us the parable of the talents.

Obama’s Faith based initiative is going back to King George of England controlling the church, religion and the people for power.  It is a move to replace God with government and destroy the rights of individuals.

If we do not stand up and fight this, it will be not be long before there will be no real Christian Churches, no freedom of religion, no freedom of information and no freedom of speech.  We are really that close to losing all that the Founding Fathers created for us.

Many of our students around the country are actually being taught that the 10 Commandments are dangerous.

If anyone believes Christianity is not under attack and that Islam is not being favored if not pushed is not paying attention! In many textbooks in our country, Christianity and Judaism is taught as a theory, if mentioned at all, but in those same classes  our kids are being taught that Islam is true.

As anyone knows who is paying attention at all, Arizona passed a law that mirrors the Federal law of the United States of America a few weeks back, sparked by the murder of a local rancher who was killed on his own property by illegal aliens. Arizona is over-run with illegals, drug runners and violence. 83% of all Americans, including Hispanic Americans and legal Hispanic immigrants. 65% of Americans believe that all states have the right to pass their own immigration laws. 73% of Democrats believe the Feds need to enforce the Federal immigration laws. And 74% of Americans believe that anyone should be stopped and asked for proper ID if suspected of being here in our Country illegally. (In case you don’t know this… all ‘legal’ immigrants are required to carry their ‘green cards’ at all times and to produce them whenever asked by authorities. So why is that required of people who followed the rules and came here legally but too degrading to people who are here illegally breaking our laws?  Also, I do not know a single legal alien, from any country, who feels put upon to have to carry or show their ID if asked; that attitude is usually created by a belief of entitlement, like La Raza who think this should be their land, or the fear of criminals.)

Americans are being had and ignored by the Progressives in power, including President Obama, again. Just yesterday, they allowed the President of Mexico, Calderon, to rip America and her laws in a joint session of Congress to the clapping of Dems, jumping to their feet (Anyone who stood and clapped for this needs to go!).  This after Calderon did the same in a White House Speech the day before, when Obama agreed with him and said “we are a country without borders”. Really?, what country does he live in?? As Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona said, “We are a country of laws that aren’t being enforced, and a country without secured borders is like a house without walls.” For too long, Americans have sat by watching their laws and their will ignored… but when the president allows the head of another country to admonish his country and attack their laws and then agrees with him and protects him from the press… it is time to demand an explanation and a change!!

No Country in the world allows their borders to be unsecured because it will destroy their sovereignty, economy, beliefs and allow infiltration by any group or person that chooses to attack them. Knowing that, it must raise questions in every clear thinking American’s mind as to the real agenda of those in power and our government. The securing of our borders years ago would have kept us safer. Sovereignty is what makes a land area a country and is critical to the survival of a nation.  But even looking at issues of population control and so-called “global warming” that will cost Americans billions if not trillions, more jobs and their way of life if the Progressive liberals who are pushing both amnesty and cap and trade… whatever they are calling it today, have their way; we would be having a completely different discussion, had we just enforced our laws!

Ice Chief: I May Not Process Illegals from AZ…

In the midst of an outcry over illegal immigration and Arizona's new crackdown, a top Department of Homeland Security official visiting Chicago on Wednesday said his agency intended to step up enforcement in places such as Illinois.

John Morton, who heads U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said his agency intends to expand the Secure Communities initiative, which gives police and sheriff's departments access to a Homeland Security database that includes fingerprints. The initiative recently grew to include most of Chicago's suburbs.
Morton, a former prosecutor, also said the agency intends to increase scrutiny of employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants.
"If we're going to bring about meaningful changes in behavior, you have to do that by focusing on the employer," he said during a meeting with the Tribune editorial board.

Morton said the government's stepped-up enforcement would result in a "sharp increase" in deportations this year. Last year's 400,000 overall deportations were a record, but this year there has already been a 40 percent jump in deportations of criminals, he said.
Echoing comments by President Barack Obama and others in the administration, Morton said that Arizona's new law targeting illegal immigration is not "good government." The law makes it a crime to be in the state illegally and requires police to check suspects for immigration paperwork.  Read The Full Article

Immigration Laws: Read to the bottom or you will miss the message...

1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools.
2. All ballots will be in this nation's language.
3. All government business will be conducted in our language.
4. Non-residents will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here, including local elections.
5. Non-citizens will NEVER be able to hold political office.
6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, or other government assistance programs. Any burden will be deported.
7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount at least equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.
8. If foreigners come here and buy land; options will be restricted. Certain parcels including waterfront property are reserved for citizens naturally born into this country, and most property, although purchased, will ultimately revert to be being the property of Mexico.
9. Foreigners may have no protests; no demonstrations, no waving of a foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies. These will lead to deportation.
10. If you do come to this country ‘illegally’, you will be actively hunted and when caught, sent to jail, until your deportation can be arranged. All assets will be taken from you.

Mexico has the toughest immigration laws in our hemisphere. They are strictly enforced against the Guatemalans on Mexico’s southern border. They say the Guatemalans come into Mexico because they work for wages that are too cheap which brings the Mexican economy down. Hmmm?!? Guatemalans are jailed and brutalized if caught illegally entering Mexico.  Yet today Mexico complains if we try to stop them from doing the same to us. What hypocrites!!!!

This sign says:  Give Us Free:  Healthcare, jobs, no taxes, a house, food… You owe us, America!  We will shoot more police in Arizona until we get (not sure if this means “are”, get this all, or both) free.  …Really??  If you tried this in Mexico, they’d throw you into jail and lost the key… or worse!! On a side note… there are reports from many sources (do your homework) that the American government or groups being supported by the American government are involved in the drug and gun trade… bringing drugs into America and then supplying and trading in guns that go south. Obama is already by-passing the White House Press Corps and creating his own in-house media group to most recently promote SCOTUS nominee Elana Kagan and to release slanted WH news bites…  This is 100% against the vision of the job of the press by our Founding Fathers. The press was to be a 4th check and balance on the system.

Our conflicts are all intertwined… It is just a matter of doing the research understanding non-revisionist history and the bigger goal!

No surprise here though, really. Obama and family are highly connected to the East Coast banking crime syndicate (Rockefellers, Soros, Ford Foundation etc.). In other words, Obama and family are highly connected to (Council on Foreign Relations) CFR banking family members, or better known as the Federal Reserve conglomerate.

The fairy-tale story that Obama delivered during the Democratic National Convention (the one with the Greek columns and the fireworks) about his mother living on food stamps was most probably just another little white lie that he told to the American people. Geithner’s father Peter is director of the Asia program at the Ford Foundation, a New World Order operation. Thus, Obama and Tim Geithner most probably were childhood friends. Remember Tony Rezko? Obama used Rezko to launder about $100 million of taxpayer dollars while Obama was still a State Senator. Geithner is Obama's right hand in accessing the Tony Rezkos (people like Warren Buffett and Bill Gates) of the national level for Obama and the Democrats while he's President. That's why that with all this trouble about AIG, Obama is still not going to get rid of Geithner. Geithner is a valuable tool for them to rob this country through its national policies.

It was first instantiated by Carter (a NWO puppet), and then made increasingly effective by Clinton (another NWO puppet) by removing almost all restrictions. Did you know that when Son of Stanley was going to school in Los Angeles, he went with a Pakistani friend to visit his mother in Indonesia, who was working for Peter Geithner at that time. After this, he spent a couple weeks in Pakistan, before he abruptly transferred to Columbia in New York where Peter Geithner was headquartered.

A little more about Peter Geithner and his ties to known NWO operations:  Peter F. Geithner is an advisor to the Asia Center at Harvard University and a consultant to the Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium, Rockefeller Foundation, Sasakawa Peace Foundation, and other organizations. He serves on the boards of the National Committee on United States-China Relations, the China Center for Economic Research (Peking University), the Center for the Advanced Study of India (University of Pennsylvania), Clemente (Holdings) Asia, Inc., and the Institute of Current World Affairs.

Peter Geithner's obviously rather unconventional style, gives him a lot in common with Stanley Ann, considered to be a pioneer in the field of anthropological microfinance for underprivileged Asian women. Though from far different backgrounds, both parents afforded their sons with globe-trotting, exotic childhoods, culminating in Peter’s Son playing Robin to Stanley Ann’s OBatMan. Small world, huh?

According to The Atlantic, young Timmy Giethner's experiences at Dear Old Dad’s knee in Asia, even in China during the Tiananmen Square uprising, greatly influenced his life choices:
"First, his Asia background. Geithner’s father, Peter Geithner, was a development specialist who opened the Ford Foundation’s China office - the first foreign NGO here, under a special agreement that continues to this day. That was just before Tiananmen Square, and the father was part of the Foundation’s difficult but, ultimately, undoubtedly correct decision to remain engaged. Tim apparently also studied Chinese, was posted in Tokyo for Treasury, and focused on Asia studies as undergraduate and graduate student. This is all great background for Treasury’s international dealings in the coming years."
Now you can see why China is lending us all this money for Socialist/Marxist agendas? China knows that if the US is to become Socialist/Marxist, our country will no longer lead the world in innovation and technology. China has their own plans for world "hemogany". ShoreBank Wins Friends on Wall Street, Critics in Washington

ShoreBank Corp., a small Chicago-based bank whose motto is “Let’s change the world,” today reportedly raised $150 million from a group of large financial services firms including Goldman Sachs Group (GS),GECapital and Citigroup (C), according to the Financial Times.

Some Republicans in Congress are questioning whether politics played a role in the decision of such large firms to assist such a small bank based on the South Side of Chicago.

Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein played a “personal role” in arranging the rescue, the FT says. A source familiar with the matter tells DailyFinance that Blankfein did “make some calls,” but added that the New York-based bank felt no White House pressure to do so.

Facing Political Pressure?

Charlie Gaspirinoof Fox Business News is reporting that ShoreBank has ties to the Obama administration because Valerie Jarrett, President Obama’s senior adviser, served on the board of Chicago Metropolis 2020, a civic organization run by Adele Simmons, a director at ShoreBank. He also reported that “several executives at Wall Street firms say they are facing some political pressure to bail out the bank from Washington.”

Bloomberg News reported that former ShoreBank executive Robert Weissbourd served on the president-elect’s transition team.

Goldman, which denies Securities and Exchange Commission civil fraud charges that it duped investors into buying mortgage-backed securities that were secretly designed to fail, declined to comment. The investment bank invested $20 million in ShoreBank, a person familiar with the matter says.

ShoreBank, whose work in lending to low-income communities has been praised by President Obama, declined to comment. “We have nothing to say at this point,” bank spokesman Brian Berg says.

The White House denies ShoreBank got any improper help.
“White House officials have not met with ShoreBank regarding support measures for their bank, nor has the White House ‘made asks’ of financial assistance to other financial institutions for ShoreBank,” Amy Brundage, a White House spokeswoman, tells DailyFinance. “Questions that come to the White House from institutions regarding the CDFI [Community Development Financial Institution] program are referred to the Treasury Department or to their bank regulator, who are the ones that decide these matters.”

Rep. Spencer Bachus, (R-AL), the ranking member on the House Financial Services Committee, is outraged and is demanding an investigation by Neil Barofsky, the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program, or TARP. He is also demanding relevant documents from the White House including any involving Blankfein.

“In a year in which hundreds of banks are expected to fail, it is good news that this troubled institution has managed to survive,” Bachus and Rep. Judy Biggert (R-IL) wrote yesterday in a letter to Obama. “The question that many are asking, however, is why did government-supported Wall Street institutions decide to save ShoreBank rather than numerous others that faced a capital shortage.”

ShoreBank, which says it has $2 billion in assets,serves Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland, with a mission to invest “in people and their communities to create economic equity and a healthy environment,”according to its website. Several media reports say that the bank needs to raise as much as $300 million.

Another Apology and Choice… Against the U.S.

Obama not only allowed the Mexican President to knock Arizona law, which is a mirror of Federal law, by giving him a platform but then supports his attack on U.S. policy followed by denying reporters access to him, again, for questions. (Also see:  Obama Turns His Back on the Press)

Mexico has the toughest immigration laws in our hemisphere. And while  it is one of the largest exporters into the United States of  illegals, drugs and violence the  Mexican President has enough nerve to publically scold us for trying to protect and secure our borders, our sovereignty and our citizens from harm and from being over-run by his citizens, criminals and potential terrorists.

Our president, instead of defending us, the United States and its citizens and legal immigrants, or at least just remaining somewhat neutral for the event, stabbed his own country in the back, and again apologized… (for our ‘weak’ immigration laws in comparison to Mexico’s ) and then  said ‘we are a country of  open borders’.  (Is this another one of those we are a Muslim Nation hallucinations… or are they goals?)  No country allows itself to be over-run and refuse sto protect its own sovereignty!  But  The U.S. department of blame America first led by the Progressive left and President Obama continues to sell us out at every opportunity.

"Now this is an immigration policy I can support!"  (Now renamed ACORN groups can register them illegally to vote for me!)

The Arizona law  just my be the event that finally puts the spotlight on the fact that Progressives have no interest in protecting America’s sovereignty or the interests of Americans and legal immigrants.  ‘They’ have a much larger insidious agenda and look at open borders to allow illegal immigrants who they will continue to hold down with crippling social justice programs, but will illegally allow to vote ‘for them’, to reach their ends.

The attempt of Arizona to protect themselves just may turn out to be the spark that ignites both the awareness and motivation to the majority in most or the remaining 49-states, to finally stand up.  Securing our borders and protecting our sovereignty is one of the main ingredients in saving our republic.

Since the Arizona law was passed an additional 60,000 illegals have crossed the border, hoping for Amnesty and hedging against the possibility that America might actually stand up for itself.  In addition, since the signing of the  AZ law, major Hispanic groups like La Raza (an Obama supporter) and other radical groups as well as high profile Hispanic leaders and scores of illegals have shown their hand and their true goal: L.A. Teacher Calls for Mexican Revolt in the U.S. .  This video was originally touted as being an isolated opinion, but since then the reality of support for this goal is surfacing everywhere.

This sign says:  Give Us Free:  Healthcare, jobs, no taxes, a house, food… You owe us, America!  We will shoot more police in Arizona until we get (not sure if this means “are”, get this all, or both) free.  …Really??  If you tried this in Mexico, they’d throw you into jail and lost the key… or worse!!  Wake-up America!!

This layup is on an 'illegal super - highway' from Mexico to the USA (Tucson) used by human smugglers.

We estimate there are over 3000 discarded back packs in this layup area. Countless water containers, food wrappers, clothing, and soiled baby diapers. And as you can see in this picture, fresh footprints leading right into it.  We weren't too far behind them.






As I kept walking down the wash, I was sure it was going to end just ahead, but I kept walking and walking, and around every corner was more and more trash!




And of course the trail leading out of the layup area heading North to Tucson, then on to your town tomorrow.




They've already come through here. Is this America the Beautiful?? Or another landfill?




The trash left behind by the illegals is another of the Environmental Disasters to hit the USA.  Had this been done in one of our great Northwest Forests or Seashore National Parks areas there would be an uprising of the American people........but this is remote Arizona-Mexican border. You won't see these pictures on CNN, ABC, NBC or the Arizona Repugnant.  Nor will they mention the disease that comes from the human waste left in the desert. They do talk about light bulbs a lot though...



This information needs to be seen by the rest of the country.

It's not about Right vs Left, Liberal vs. Conservative, Republican vs. Democrat. It's about supporting the U.S. Constitution!

 THE  U.S.  VS  MEXICO:  

On February 15, 1998, the U.S. and Mexican soccer teams met at the Los Angeles Coliseum.  The crowd was  overwhelmingly pro-Mexican even though most lived in this country.  They booed during the National Anthem and U.S. flags were held upside down.  As the match progressed,  supporters of the U.S. team were insulted, pelted with projectiles, punched and spat upon.  Beer and trash were thrown at the U.S. players before and after the match.  The coach of the U.S. team, Steve Sampson said, "This was the most painful experience I have ever had in this profession."           

Did you know that immigrants from Mexico and other non-European countries can come to this country and get preferences in jobs, education, and government contracts?   It's called affirmative action or racial privilege.  The Emperor of Japan or the President of Mexico could migrate here and immediately be eligible for special rights unavailable for Americans of European descent.  Recently, a vote was taken in  the U.S. Congress to end this practice.  It was defeated.  Every single Democratic senator except Ernest Hollings voted to maintain special privileges for Hispanic, Asian and African immigrants.  They were joined by thirteen Republicans.  Bill Clinton and Al Gore have repeatedly stated that they believe that massive immigration from countries like Mexico is good.  They have also backed special privileges for these immigrants.  

Corporate America has signed on to the idea that minorities and third world immigrants should get special, privileged status.  Some examples are Exxon, Texaco, Merrill Lynch, Boeing, Paine Weber, Starbucks and many more.               

 DID YOU KNOW?:  

Did you know that Mexico  regularly intercedes on the side of the defense in criminal cases involving Mexican nationals in the U.S.?  Did you know that Mexico has NEVER extradited a Mexican national accused of murder in the U.S. in spite of agreements to do so?  According to the L.A. Times, Orange County, California is home to 275 gangs with 17,000 members; 98% of which are Mexican and Asian. How's your county doing?  

According to a New York Times article  dated May 19, 1994, 20 years after the great influx of legal immigrants from Southeast Asia, 30% are still on welfare compared to 8% of households nationwide.  A Wall Street Journal editorial dated December 5, 1994 quotes law enforcement officials as stating that Asian mobsters are the "greatest criminal challenge the country faces."  Not bad for a group that is still under 5% of the population. 

Is education important to you?  Here are the words of a teacher who spent over 20 years in the Los Angeles School system.  "Imagine teachers in classes containing 30-40 students of widely varying attention  spans and motivation, many of whom aren't fluent in English.   Educators seek learning materials likely to reach the majority of students and that means fewer words and math problems and more  pictures and multicultural references."  

WHEN I WAS YOUNG:  

When I was young, I remember hearing about the immigrants that came through Ellis Island.  They wanted to learn English.  They wanted to breathe free.  They  wanted to become Americans.  Now too many immigrants come here with demands.  They demand to be taught in their own language.  They demand special privileges--affirmative action.  They demand ethnic studies that glorify their culture.

You have to ask yourself… Is this really where we’ve come to?  People, who gave up or lost their land years ago through wars, treaties, sales and border disputes now come to our land, a sovereign country, “illegally” where we have given them more rights than most citizens get, are now attacking us (Americans and in particular white Americans) based on race and their delusionary demands??  And our Progressive leaders use them and us as pawns for votes, at our expense~  This is the perfect example of no good deed (or stupidity) goes unpunished!!  Time to get smart!  83% of Americans, including Hispanic-Americans, want the borders secured and 74% of Americans say no Amnesty… period!!  What are we waiting for… for them to takeover?? Why we dare not give Kagan a free pass on the road to the Supreme Court

Mathew Staver, Founder and Chairman Liberty Counsel My sources tell me some key Republicans are already willing to "give in" on the Elena Kagan nomination - without even putting up a fight.  This is a serious mistake!  Alarming facts about Kagan's political and judicial philosophies are coming to light. We MUST ‘not’ give this "stealth" candidate a free pass. - Mat Kagan must be thoroughly vetted and if she is not a satisfactory candidate for the Supreme Court… meaning that her answers and history do not prove her to be strong on the Constitution and a person of integrity, the GOP must fight the appointment with all tools available, including a filibuster, that Congressman Jon Kyl for Arizona has already taken off the table.  Why??  The argument that Kagan is replacing a liberal judge so it doesn’t matter is ridiculous and short-sighted.  Every Supreme Court Justice appointment matters.  At age 50 Kagan could be on the high Court for another 40-years and her decisions could have a profound impact on our lives… and the lives of our children and grandchildren for generations… or even longer.  Each judge should meet up to the highest standards, which includes and knowledge of a record of ruling based on our Constitution.. not on case law which is and has been manipulated by many many factors.  It is a Progressive anti-American, anti-Constitutional concept.   Also, who is to say that when a Conservative or Constitutional seat on the bench for the High Court comes up, that the GOP or Constitutionalist will win that battle, and maintain the present balance?  Call, fax, email and write your Senators, Sen Jon Kyl… and as many others as you can and tell them how you feel about this nominee and that you want them to vet her and fight if she does not meet up to the standards.  Supreme Court Justices need to be held to the highest standards!!  I personally don’t know of anyone who was an avowed socialist in college that is a strict Constitutionalist now… Marion~ Like with Obama’s thesis and other important documents that are normally required from and available to the public for “public servents” Elana Kagan’s thesis was pulled from the Internet.  The blog RedState had procured a copy but was made to pull it.  It was full of Marxist-Leninist nuggets throughout.  Here is a nugget from page 130 of Kagan’s thesis:  in New York to the position of marginality and insignificance from which it has never recovered.  The story is a sad but also a chastening one for those who, more than half a century after socialism’s decline, still wish to change America.  Radicals have often succumbed to the devastating bane of sectarianism; it is easier, after all, to fight one’s fellows that it is to battle an entrenched and powerful foe (which freedom and Capitalism). That's why it's alarming that Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, virtually conceded her confirmation by stating on "Face the Nation" last Sunday that a potential Republican filibuster of Kagan is "off the table." That statement tells me that Senator Kyl is unwilling to use the available means to stop Kagan's confirmation. He said, "The filibuster should be relegated to extreme circumstances, and I don't think Elena Kagan represents that." I believe this IS an extreme circumstance! Elena Kagan could potentially serve on the Court for 30 to 40 years. And her "blank slate" of judicial qualifications and "stealth" record compel us to resist her confirmation to avoid nasty surprises after she is seated. ++ The all-too-familiar "White House Push" has begun. ++ Meanwhile, Senator Patrick Leahy, (D-VT), the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he hoped to have Kagan on the bench this summer, well ahead of the new term that begins in October.  President Obama went him one better and demanded that Kagan be approved by early July. And after virtually stonewalling public access to Kagan's writings while at Princeton and Oxford, the White House is reluctantly making her theses available after an outcry from - of all places - main stream media outlets like CBS News. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), the ranking Republican member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Sessions expressed concern about Kagan to TV news magazine "This Week" by saying, "We'd like to know in a real honest sense whether her philosophy of law is so broad in her interpretation of the Constitution that you are not faithful to the Constitution and law." He also said, "... [A] judge under their oath says you serve under the Constitution, not above it. So we want to know whether she faithfully will follow it even if she doesn't like it..." Sessions added, "I think we'll be looking at her testimony because she has so little other record, and it's going to be a big deal. It's so important how she testifies." This has been a major concern of my own regarding Kagan. ++ Expelling the Military from campus. ++ Senator Sessions also seized on Elena Kagan's role in prohibiting military recruiting on Harvard's campus during her tenure as the dean of Harvard Law School, calling it "no little-bitty matter." He insisted that Kagan was not only wrong in her decision, but that she actually broke the law. And now that the left-wing blogosphere and even the New York Times has called on Kagan to honestly address the issue of her sexual orientation, Senators must not be allowed to adopt some strange standard of "political correctness" and avoid the subject. It is obvious that if Kagan has enough pro-homosexual political passion to take such a strong stand against the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, it will affect her legal positions on the entire range of family, marriage, and homosexual "rights" issues she is likely to rule upon if confirmed. Of course, the United States Supreme court overturned her misguided resistance of the Solomon Amendment by a 9-0 vote, clearly demonstrating that her views are radically outside the mainstream of American legal thinking. ++ Kagan holds a pro-abortion viewpoint.  ++ Americans United for Life (AUL) has reported that Elena Kagan significantly donated to National Partnership for Women and Families (NPWF), a pro-abortion group.  The group advocates "to increase women's access to... reproductive health services and blocks attempts to limit reproductive rights...and to give every woman access to...abortion services." Judith Lichtman, Senior Advisor for the NPWF, wrote a letter "wholeheartedly" supporting Kagan's Solicitor General nomination, whom she describes as a "friend and colleague."  Such an endorsement would not happen if Lichtman was not confident of Kagan's pro-abortion stance. ++ Citizen BARRAGE of the SENATE opposing this nomination! ++ President Obama has placed our nation in a precarious situation by nominating a completely unqualified person with a veiled record to the United States Supreme Court.
